Her face gives her away everytime lol especially when she saying bc of her passed that he didn’t love her and that no one would ever love her she glances to the jury to see how they reacted 🤦🏼♀️
I caught that
she' cant button up her shirt either
She was still so safistacated about herself I never once saw any remorse from her.
The judge's face: 😒😒😒😒
Yea your honour, same.
34:37 😂😂😂 he doesn’t believe it, the Judge has to be more convinced
I cried seeing his sister up there on the stand with the teddy bear made out of her brothers shirt. 😢
When this first happened and was reported by the news, I thought she was manipulating and if she couldn't have him; she wanted no one to have him. She was by no means crazy, she was selfish and jealous.
Evil does exist. RIP Ryan 😢
Ryan himself sounds evil.
That said she had zero right to kill him. She should have stayed away from him.
Shanya reminds me of Courtney Clenny,Jodi Arias and Molly Martens.
They all murdered their boyfriends/husbands and left a path of death and destruction in their wake.
And they all claimed to be victims of DV
And a hint of Amber Heard
@@syljm515
Johnny Depp was lucky to escape her wrath.
My heart aches for her adopted, innocent baby daughter... and what she might have to endure - before she's old enough to walk away.
@@syljm515 - Yes. Definitely Amber Heard too
meh Travis had it coming idkkk
@lena-mariaglou 26:24 is-charles7036 I believe that too. If he had stayed, he would not be alive today
I keep hearing “Miss Hubris” and it fits.
There is no deeper disrespect than to murder someone in cold blood and then act like the victim and blame the actual victim. Her case was so flimsy that they had to rely on the fact he was ‘sending mixed signals’ in a court of law. As if that’s a plausible excuse to murder someone. Absolutely laughable. She killed him and then disgraced his name with lies.
I had grad school classes with her. We were in the mental health counseling program. She was a VERY strange, narcissistic person.
so Shayna was in the mental health counseling program - i take it she flunked.
@@haintedhouse2990 She was only there from August until October.
😮
Super strange in her text messages too, when you beg someone they lose even more interest...
She was very self absorbed, yes. It really started showing in high school (Where I knew her from). She started out just an average bookish girl, plain looking, understated, never really NOT put together but didn't put a lot of work into her appearance it seemed. And then out of nowhere she started GOING for it, dolling herself up, wearing makeup, putting her hair up, dressing more "polished". None of us took it as /too/ weird tho that I know of, because she was an otherwise average upper middle class Kentucky girl.
I bet he rolls over in his grave EVERY time she is referred to as "his girlfriend". Ole girl was not his gf. She was a hit it who refused to let him quit it.
Facts bro u kno once a dude say u deserve better you already know he off her
🤣
Yup.She was not his type at all .Smashing just gave him something to do until he got bored of her and wanted a beauty pageant winner.
And you know she was willing to do anything 😂😂😂 wild
He was an ex. Simple as that.
The judge is unable to hide that he's thoroughly amused.
They're calling her beautiful but she's a solid 6 . The pedestal yt girls are put on is laughable 😭
This is the first thing I got when I saw the judge.
@@PresidentialRelA 6 in the posed photographs but nowhere near a 6 in real life.
@@ChoppingtonOtter right probably a 3-4 at best

Her dance at interrogation was chilling to say the least
Her mother giving her statement at the end showed where she got her crocodile tears and egocentrism from.
Her mother doesn't want to see her go to prison, but there is no way she is not aware of how dangerous her daughter's mental condition is. If released, she would kill again.
This is so terrible for him. My Condolences to his Family and Friends 🙏🏼🙏🏼. May he Rest Peacefully 🕯️🕊️

Justice was served. Life without parole.
Hearing two attorneys talk about concrete when they know nothing about how concrete is made is hilarious.
I wanted to ask the Home Depot employee, did you see her purchase the one she was looking for? Did someone help her load it into her car? I would talk to the parking lot employees
I think I caught them at the end saying about her using soil aswell so maybe the mixture of both the soil and fine grain concrete mix gave a different texture.
@@devan3059Also, I was thinking, was that the only store around that sold concrete?
Her statements during interrogation are filled with gleeful malice. She was so pleased with herself!
So true, it was so hard to watch
“My childs life has also been taken” nah. She took it away herself.
I honestly believe that she wanted to be tied to Ryan forever. Just like how Mark Chapman is forever linked to John Lennon. I think Shayna wanted to forever be linked to Ryan. She would’ve never been his type. Desperate and clingy and like she said she was tossed out of the condo and she could’ve walked away, but she did not. Crazy crazy stalker , chick.
yep in every photo of them she's got the psycho smile that says "I've got him now"
@haintedhouse2990 agreed
Reminds me of Amber Heard, in a wayl. That playing to the audience to gauge their reaction to what she is saying. And trying to use phony domestic violence as an excuse for her over the top behavior.
@@luanngarcia6435I knew she reminded me of someone! Amber Heard would have made sure Johnny Depp ended up like Ryan Poston, too, if given a little more time.
@@luanngarcia6435 absolutely! Amber heard and Jodi arias 😶
Ashley has always had the scariest look about her.
Jodi Arias anyone??
Exactly!
Yes... they both are manipulative narcissists - empty shells refusing to take "no" for an answer.
The interrogation room shenanigans…first thing I said was “Oh, Hey Jodi” lol
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of that crazy b****
She’s a graduate of the Amber Heard School of Phony Testimony
Man she is dead cold. Didn't shed one tear during the whole thing. Something is broken inside her, for sure. If she was free, she could easily kill again.
she did shed tears but of course it was only because she felt bad for himself not because she felt bad for what she did.
Killing someone with an OD of coke administered through beer is the dumbest thing i ever heard.
I love these kinds of documentaries and I love this channel. Gives us a look inside cases some of us haven’t even heard of.
They've explored this case multiple times. It's time for some new cases.
Oh, I’ve heard about this ! Big case
Agreed !
I love the judges face, he really isn't buying any of it.
She's constantly looking at the jury to see if they're buying her lies.😂😂
Gives Amber Heard vibes…
This is my first time to see Law&Crime post a picture of a victims dead body. Its so sad to see 😢😢😢
@@EcecVeron I was literally thinking the same thing
I think that might have been added in mistakenly? I was shocked, I wish I hadn't seen that
Ryan was an absolutely handsome and professional young man! Justice was served to his murderer! RIP Ryan!
Ryan wasn't an abuser. Shayna was a jealous phyco. I hate when the law allows to use the mental defense when clearly, she was in her right mind, and shot him because she was jealous and felt she was losing him.
Oh yes he was. It's in court documents that are easy to find. The poor guy needed rehab but was afraid to get help because of his job.
I think you mean psycho.
@brigittabalog5226 He needed rehab. He wanted to get better but was afraid to get therapy because of his job. It had nothing to do with her. She did all his cooking and cleaning. His guns and ammo were on display everywhere.
She needed to shudder at the stuff he was saying to her and run away, not toward. She was truly crazy. It's all public, in court documents.
These people want to pretend she's another Jody Arias and punish Jody again. Or Amber Heard. Spinning it that way gets clicks. 💰💰💰
@brigittabalog5226 If you ever read the sick stuff he texted her (and afterwards, she went right back to serving him, instead of straight out of town for a vacation, then a trip to a psychiatrist), you'd see the real picture. I've known troubled women, but no one who would put up with what she did from a boyfriend.
He had literally unbearable job pressures and was always on some drugs, not all of which were prescribed. That's what he was trapped by.
Interesting that after making the claims about what he said about her being unloveable because she was touched as a child, she looks over and is obviously tryimg to gauge everyone's reaction to see if they're buying it.
I noticed. Sounded like she was projecting her own inner thoughts.
Even she looked uncomfortable 😳 saying that….
"he was trying to burgle me!"
"they both reached for the gun!"
(ROXY HEART - CHICAGO!)
😂 XOXO
Amber Herd redux.
These murderers think they’re so smart but there’s always 100 holes in their stories.
How arrogant to think they won't get caught. Ashley is a cold fish.
When you tell 911 "I killed someone in self-defense" That's a red flag.
Explain why
Even if i didn't know Shayna killed someone i still wouldn't like her.🙄
It always amazes me how loosely people use the word "beautiful" when referring to women like Ashley McArthur. 😮
same with Jodi Arias - without make-up she looks like Aunt Maria from the roadside taco stand
@@haintedhouse2990BUAHAHAA _whaaat?!_ 😆
Not beautiful
@@haintedhouse2990The peroxide blonde hair helped detract from her face. Many women rely on the bleach for that purpose. As a natural brunette Jodie is quite unattractive.

I believe that everyone deserves a good defense attorney. It’s our system. It’s fair. But I could NOT defend this woman.
that basically admits youre a bad lawyer
I would have to if I was a public DA if the judge said so. Privately? No way. Take your money somewhere else.
That does not a “bad Lawyer” make. I have morals and scruples, and not interested.
So, you are a murderer, right? Yes, but…..ok,, I think we are done here. Best wishes.
Self defense? No, I’m a stalker. Oh. Double good luck.
When Ashley was being interviewed, she said “she(Taylor) was a strange girl” not ‘is’ but *WAS*
I can’t believe no one caught that
I caught that too!!!
The first case reinforces the need to keep guns locked up, or at least not laying around when having a heated argument with an unstable person.
We don't know where the gun was. You are buying her version of the story.
Did they just show us the dead person???

Shayna is nuts. I remember my best friend was in a cell with her at the jail in newport and she would brag about killing him and read her letters from her fans to everyone in the cell as if she were a celebrity. She would tell anyone in there bc she thought she was cool and famous.
Seriously?

And Shayna is absolutely guilty of murdering her boyfriend!!
Doesn't surprise me much. She's that degree of depraved

They shouldn’t let the parents of a convicted killer talk sorry not sorry
Eighteen months on and off nothing. He wanted to dump her when he knew she was nuts long before the eighteen months. He was a dead man as soon as she set her sights on him. She was a hunter if he didnt comply she would kill. He was a dead man walking for awhile poor guy. 😮

Yeah I was not ready for that.. As many times as I've seen this crime covered, I've never seen an actual pic and always imagined him sat at a dinner table from the way Shayna's story goes. Poor Ryan, it especially kills me hearing his sweet, warm siblings testify. RIP 💔
I don't think they meant to do that. The unpixellated shot slipped through the cracks.
Yeah, I had to do a double take... even thought for a second it had to be fake, but didn't know.
I’m sick of Borderline Personality Disorder as an insanity defense. Just because we found more than evil as a scientific term, it’s not an excuse.. just like “She killed someone which means she obviously had BPD and we need to find out what caused this! Not who…”
Right?! I have so many friends who have BPD. None of them would murder a person. It's a bogus defense.
Yeah man people with personality disorders aren't delusional or hallucinating. They still know and are aware they are doing something against the law and is viewed as wrong by society.
I have BPD and have neverrrr thought of hurting anyone else… It’s quite the opposite, people with BPD self harm…
I have it and I'm tired of the stigma. It's so hurtful to borderline people

Why does she look like she is auditioning for a role in a movie when she is on stand. Nothing she is saying feels genuine it doesn’t even seem like she believes the story.
I am so heartbroken for the sister and family! 😢
Aww his sisters testimony made me cry so much. She is a stalker who lost it when he didn’t want her anymore. Can’t believe the defense tried to use the mental excuse. You could tell she was evil, calculated and manipulative.
His sister was fake crying not sincere at all.
Ummmm

You do know that the bloody dead body of the victim is in full view??
No warning or nothing.
WTF
Didn’t she say that he picked her up and set her outside his apartment and she wanted back in to get her things? If that were the case, if she were truly that terrified for her life, you’d think she would have left at that point and came back for her things when she had someone with her and could protect her. 🤔
I just cannot wrap my head around a woman that young and beautiful and talented and in University loosing it to this extend over this one guy; when there are dozens more bigger and better fishes in the sea. Ladies don't love anyone more than you love yourself, enough to throw your life away over them.
@@ronniemead805 did you even watch the video?
@@ronniemead805 when you put it that way, you make her sound like a victim instead of the violent and narcissistic psychopath she is. And you make him sound like he was unworthy of her, when there was NO signs that he abused her and every sign that she falsely accused and abused him in multiple ways. Very twisted. Honestly your perspective exemplifies the consequences of the toxic “me too” movement and it is scary to see.
She didn’t “throw away her life” so much as the “threw away” the life of her innocent victim. She still lives comfortable prison, where they allow these monsters to take crocheting, art, and baking classes, play basketball, get married, etc. Her victim had his life taken from him.
