Rubber bullets can actually cause death but they’re more likely to cause permanent disability. Also the armor thing can actually be bad advice if everyone does it since while it does protect you from permanent injury or death it does risk causing a massive escalation. Like if you had a way to protect yourself from tear gas and rubber bullets and you still vigorously resisted them moving you and were successful. They would use live rounds which would make easy work of the armor that tiktoker was wearing
Note: in a police arrest scenario even if you didn’t have a weapon but you resisted every other means for them to arrest you or calm you down they will shoot you. That’s the logic I’m using that because I watched an episode of “Most Shocking” where a police officer that was being interviewed said that in trying to arrest a drunk fat man he almost had to shoot him and that was protocol at the time because the drunk fat man foiled the officers other attempts at trying to arrest him.
