@emmakennytv did you know that Hello Fresh Group launched another brand of meal kits in the UK called Green Chef which do completely plant based vegan meals. Do you think they could sponsor you next as sadly hello fresh as promoted doesn't do vegan meals.

I know you have tons of case recommendations but I really hope you will do the Marc Dutroux case from Belgian. It has government cover-up (and involvement), sex trafficking, a serial killer, and the suspicious deaths of over 20 witnesses. And I love your take on cases.

@@chelseapthib36 I wish UA-cam still allowed links to be shared, as I watched an amazing 3 part video on the case given that there was so much information. And he actually cut it short because he started getting nervous upon learning how many witnesses died mysterious deaths, two of which were on their way to appointments to speak to detectives (one got hit by a train while crossing the tracks). The whole thing is absolutely wild and I'd be curious to know if there was any connection to Epstein. Joshua Miles is the UA-camr who covered it. I'd certainly understand if Emma was afraid to do it, to be honest. I highly recommend checking it out on Joshua's channel, you will probably have to watch it in parts since it's so extensive.

@@anneliesvanpoucke8731 oh, wow, very interesting! I've found that there is a surprising number of true crime watchers who have yet to hear of it. For me, it's one of the most fascinating cases I've come across. In fact, I may watch again for insight I missed the first time around. Check out Joshua Miles's channel, the research he did is extensive I'd share the link here but apparently it is no longer allowed by UA-cam. If you search Joshua Miles Marc Dutroux case in UA-cam's search box, it should come up. Hopefully it's still there as I know he got nervous covering it. Very generous of you to offer to help. Much respect 🙏🏼

Man, it's so hard to form an opinion on these murders. On the one hand, you do have an eye witness and she identified at least one of the two men but was the identification done properly? There are strict laws regarding witness identification and how suspects are identified and there is physical evidence pointing at these two. As well as, almost every inmate I've ever met claims to have been set up and to be innocent. But, there was so much mishandling of the evidence, I'm surprised a judge didn't throw out the case on that basis alone. It's really hard to say, "these two deserve their punishment" because there are still too many unanswered questions. Thanks for covering this case. Well done as always

We are lucky to be able to see such quality content. I find true crime fascinating. As a kid I was raised by people that fit in cluster B category so I know some up close and personal. I went to study criminology and psychology to find some answers but in fact I still have more questions and curiosity. I love your energy …. Well keep yourself in mind in all of this. Take care

My best friend was Murdered 4 years ago on the 25th of October 2018, I miss her every single day, I’m just so sick of people in Australia committing crimes and pleading ‘insanity’ to avoid a jail sentience and either getting away with it or going to a mental health facility, my best friends murderer had been released from prison 6 weeks prior after completing a sentence for a violent crime, but the courts said he is unsuitable to go back to prison and put him in a mental health facility, the caught him at the scene, he had her blood all over him he’s guilty as hell, but could be out in the community sooner then if he had gone to prison, why don’t they do a mental health check before releasing people, my best friends murder has affected so many people, her family, her 2 kids, my family and kids everyone that knew her, I will never have another best friend like her and I can never forgive him for taking her away from this world and those that loved her, she didn’t not know him he had no right to do what he did

Far from the first time I’ve heard a story like yours. I went to school with someone who was murdered by a man who was released from prison less than 12 months before her murder. He was originally in jail for… you guessed it… murder! She was 18 years old. He put her body in a wheelie bin. I’m all for rehabilitating those that can be rehabilitated, but in my mind, murderers are not able to be rehabilitated. Their actions make it clear that they have their own way of seeing the world. If they want to be free, to be part of our society and community, they need to act like it and respect the “rules” we all follow; the ethics; the morals all of it. If they can’t, then the only place they should be is as far away from us as possible… unfortunately, all of our social systems need a massive overhauling. Justice System, Health Care System, Fostercare system….. on and on.
I’m sorry about your friend. If it’s not too uncomfortable, please accept a cyber-hug from someone who has felt some of what your going through
      You’re in my thoughts,
      Take care of yourself xxoo

Here in Connecticut we had a murder that occured inside a KFC in the own of Milford that I grew up in. It happened in the 90's when I was a kid.
2 employees murdered their manager inside the kitchen of the KFC after hours. The eerie part is that earlier that day my friends and I actually went to KFC to eat that afternoon after a long day of skateboarding, and the 2 men that committed the murder were the ones that served us before they carried out the murder later that evening. The KFC was literally walking distance down the end of the street that I grew up on.

Emma this is a case I have never heard about, thank you. RIP to the victims. Some states have massive backlogs of DNA cases and they are not always stored correctly, so when there are cold case reviews it is too degraded or contaminated to be analysed. Some of the issues in US Justice is people are elected as sheriffs, prosecutors etc and the fractured law enforcement setup - local, regional, state, highway, other agencies such as Texas Rangers, I could go on.....

This case is horrible all the way around. Being born and raised in Texas I see we have come a long way and have a long way to go. There is a case that might interest u from Montgomery, Texas, a triple murder. My daughter had a close relationship with Jeremy and attended both trials every day. A movie was made about this called Into The Abyss, the problem I have is that the girlfriend of one of the perps who has changed her story several times was never prosecuted, a sheriff's daughter. I feel justice fell short, I know her and she brags about no jail time when a mother and 2 teenage boys were murdered in cold blood.

My thoughts: have you heard of Elna Maria “Valerie” Peterson? No? Doubtless very few people have- Valerie was a 9 year old girl who was killed in a hit and run in Manson Iowa in 1971 whilst out riding her bike with a friend- the girls had moved off the road when they realised that a green truck was coming along the road, but the truck actually then swerved directly off the road and hit Valerie, who died instantly.
That same truck was then observed, by a neighbour of the individual, driving at speed into their garage. The truck was later washed and the following day the young man who had been driving had been driven by his father to the airport in order to return early from leave from the army. A few days later the truck was taken and sold to the local car dealership- when Valerie’s father heard of this he contacted police, who then took paint scrapings as evidence from the front of the vehicle- According to some witnesses, the young man who had been involved had been seen drinking at the local pub with friends, all of whom were quite intoxicated- Despite all this, the case went cold for a few decades until a new sheriff decided to reopen it as he had been the same age as Valerie when she died- unfortunately, however, he discovered that all the evidence had been thrown out - with the excuse being that the statute of limitations for a hit & run case had expired.
I stumbled across this case a few months ago on a website called Iowa cold cases, and was curious to learn more- however after weeks and weeks of searching, aside from a small handful of newspaper articles, I could find NOTHING else about this case- if not for this one website, this case would be completely forgotten, whilst a beautiful little girl who died before I was even born has never received the justice that she deserved: why? The driver of the vehicle was from an extremely prominent family. It was well known in Manson that this man had been responsible, but NOBODY had the decency to speak out about this family for the sake of this beautiful little girl- the identity has been so well protected, that I couldn’t even manage to discover the name of the man (admittedly it’s harder to access public records from the US when you’re in Australia and don’t have a VPN) - all I was able to discover was that he still lives in the area!
So to cut a long story short: I could totally believe that these guys were convicted to protect someone else

I’m looking forward to joining today’s live. I have been busy and keeping up with 📺playback. Thank you Emma Kenny and Dusted 🛠 media for your thoughtfulness, dedication, consistency. I have learned so much, as far as staying safe and “Do Not Comply”. I understand that it is critical for the human mind to develop in a safe and loving home. As most of the featured monsters were once little neglected often abused children. The mind is so very interesting. I’m grateful My Sister and stopped the family curse of neglect and unspeakable things. We are survivors and our Adult Children only have know love and safety in our arms. Now I understand more clearly how and why the 60’s~70’s~80’s there was such a code of silence. No one noticed our childhood distress. Things are getting better for this next generation I so deeply wish. See something, Say Something. Thank you.

There's something not adding up here. Career criminals like Darnell and Romeo do not really fit the profile of execution style mass murderers like this. Of all the robberies they've committed before and after, why was only this one so gruesomely different? I would understand a robbery gone wrong situation, but then the homicide would happen at the store. Kidnapping 5 people, taking them into a cornfield and killing them execution style does not seem like purely a robbery motivated crime or even purely sex motivated as half the people were men. This feels like a homicide committed by someone(s) who had prior experience in efficiently subduing and killing multiple people, not something your average stickup men would do. Since Darnell and Romeo kept committing crimes after these murders, they would've probably been linked to more homicides like this once caught. But they weren't. *This was a one off, which is where I get skeptical.* My guess is this. If DNA evidence undoubtedly links Darnell and Romeo to these murders, then they were probably hired by someone else (possibly the third partner who's DNA was also found) to kill one or more people in that store for revenge/romance/drugs related reasons. It was personal. They were told to teach the target(s) a lesson. The robbery and the SA was when the "teaching them a lesson" part went out of hand.

People don’t murder until they do. Look at the brothers Carr…they committed armed robberies without killing until one day they committed armed robbery and raped and murdered 5 people. (Would love to see Emma cover this case actually, commonly called the Wichita Horror.)

    • @SDG.12
      @SDG.12 Рік тому +3

@@gwenjackson8583 I agree with your sentiment that "people don't murder until they do", but the biggest difference between this case and the Carr Brothers is that the Carrs were caught the day after. These two guys remained free for YEARS after the KFC murders. *It's usually highly unlikely when a perp escalates to randomly SA'ing and mass murdering 5 people and then remaining free for years but never doing anything like that again.* Now, a "accidental murder" by way of robbery gone wrong can explain why they never killed again. But what "robbery gone wrong" in a McDonalds (not a bank, but a freaking McDonalds) consists of abducting 5 people to a cornfield and executing them? If it was a random robbery gone wrong the killing would've happened inside the store. The more I think of this the more I lean towards a contract killing, even if these guys did it.
