51 year old female. Sick everyday. 2 heart attacks, stents, diabetes, high blood, thyroid. Lord I'm sick of feeling sick. Today I'm starting carnivore. No idea where I'm getting the money for meat but I'm trusting God. I'm tired, hopeless, and in despair. Nazley Cape Town SA
Wow. Cape Town.....beautiful when I was there. I had so much game meat while I was in Africa. Is any of it at a decent price? The xchange rate from US to rand was significant at that time tho. 🙏🏼 for your healing
Hey, I am also from SA, Pretoria (I wish Cape Town). On day 26 but not really counting anymore because it has become easy. First 2,5 weeks I had bad cravings bit now none. My tourettes tics are next to gone! Good luck!
@@elmiengrove2876 awesome. Pretoria is beautiful. The flowers 💐 🕊 I've not decided whether or when I will be trying it. Frig full of veggies and my garden is still going fairly well. Are you feeling better?
75 is the new 55. Carnivore five months and moving forward. I STARTED AT 319 pounds. I’m currently 264 pounds. 55 POUNDS!! INCREDIBLE!! Clear headed. Feel great. Jump out of bed every day. What a journey. Did I say I’ve stopped all Rx drugs?? No longer pre-diabetic. Cholesterol perfect. I could go on and on. THANK YOU for your videos. Enthusiasm. Information. Hugs from an old guy (my wife loves the new me)!
The cholesterol thing is a hoax!!! Its even in mother's milk, but they leave it out in the baby formula, cuz of it's bad reputation...IMAGINE that 😂... School dropouts have super high levels compared to the average joe=the ones who have figured out the hoax way faster than the rest!!!
My husband was doing a keto diet for 3 months and not losing. I finally got him to stop with the cheese and go strictly meat (we do still use cream in our coffee), and in one week, he dropped 9 pounds. I am at my ideal weight. After 7 months, I lost almost 50 pounds and down 10 inches off my hips. ❤
I've been eating carnivore for a year and a half now. The longer I eat this way the more I like beef but always have hardboiled eggs and cooked bacon on hand for snacks.
Day 96! Kerry, thank you so much you’re an inspiration! Ground beef breakfast? Hell yeah! I don’t always eat breakfast but meat and eggs aren’t just for the morning. Sometimes I make ground beef and eggs in the evening. I usually eat once a day. Ground beef is eaten here damn near every meal! I don’t mind. I really like it and I am damn good at cooking it! LoL
@Jennieadams1979 thanks so much. I’m still kind of shocked and emotional about all of this. I just can’t believe it! I really do feel so much better and it wasn’t very hard. I just wish I had known long ago. My life would be so different now. I’m like in survival mode really. I’m on disability and pretty much alone. I do what I can, but Kerry really changed my life! I can’t thank him enough. Thank you for the comment I really do appreciate it.
Bacon ... I bought an inexpensive meat grinder and I grind up bacon myself then I cook the ground bacon in a cast-iron pot on the stove top. This makes fabulous bacon-bits and a good amount of bacon grease to store in a glass container. The bacon bits I keep in a zip-loc bag in the freezer and use them as I wish. They are great sprinkled on eggs or any way you wish.
Starting my sixth week carnivore today, there are no words to describe how incredible I feel. Think how the human diet has changed in the last hundred years, humans can not evolve that fast that's when it clicked for me. People better wake up and listen, our are raise is in big trouble.
Yep they treat humans just like the cattle and pigs… whatever’s cheap! Corn for a cow????? Poor things are forced to eat, normally they wouldn’t touch it
@@Truthforcausa Was 190 when I started, as of today 172. Not that the loss is not important but it's how I feel so much more alive! It was like I was in a fog for years and didn't realize it. I am 59 this year retired and feel better then I have in thirty years.
1) How many hours on slow cook in the slow cooker please. 2) I gather u don't bring it boil first then reduce to low, slow cook? Again, if so how many hours. Thank you. P.s. You and your lovely daughter are inspiring. 🤗⚘
PS i have always made stew meat. It was often made as a meal for those who need good nourishment going back centuries in the uk, often cooked very slowly in a sealed container for 24 hours. I make it for my FIL in large batches as he loves it, and the Dr said it would help him recover from major cancer surgery. We just eat it because its amazing.
Ya know what's expensive? Doctors, medical procedures, and medicines that ease but don't cure ailments. It was an easy trade for me. More meat and fat, less big pharma/healthcare.
Seems to me you'll stopped eating everything but real food. not so much carnivore diet, you cut out all the other keyrap. doughnuts, pizza, chips, ice cream, chocolate bars, cereals, jellies, jams, you wnet back to food.
Here is my two-day meal routine: Day 1:Powerbowl; Day 2: 6 eggs(scrambled w/ pieces of bacon) & a Ribeye covered with brown butter. Gives my ribeyes a nice sweet taste.
@@user-qr4ey3xv4j Oh and about what time of the day, do you try to do in the middle of the day and do you try to get how many calories and get all the protein and fat in that one meal? Sorry but I think I might try one meal a day and just getting information.
eyup my favorite, IP sauté button sear chuck roast pieces, then add some water, beef bone broth, low pressure cook...then slow cook a couple of hours, drink the juice and viola
I just smoked a chuck roast on my kamado. Added wagyu beef tallow at the end and wrapped it in foil, till it get to 202. It's fantastic. South Chicago packing makes a great tallow.
# REPLAY, im just learning about the Carnivore diet. Im 67 yrs old & have multiple illnesses. Im also on SS & not enough funds to buy the good quality meats. Im definitely going to try this, but its hard when your use to seasoning 's, . Im over weight at 4'11" i used to be 5'2". I have severe osteoporosis, left eye floaters, cateracts, Ebstein bar syndrome, boarder diabetes, chronic heartburn, body aches & pains. I was in a car accident in 2016, left with 2 herniated discs in my neck, lower back with 2 baldging discs in the middle back. Im so depressed too. So im hoping this will help me in so many ways. I appreciate your videos on how to cook this, so ty so much.
My husband and I committed to going carnivore for 3 months back in November 2023. We both feel so good now we're not going back. Meat heals. My husband no longer has acid reflux. I have had asthma my whole life and in fall and winter I usually have at least one attack every day and sometimes multiple attacks. Since the first 2 weeks of carnivore I have not had even one attack. My sleep is better, my mental focus is amazing, high energy, and very importantly no anxiety or depression. I could go on but I'll just say the benefits are impressive. Give it 90 days. But research here on UA-cam how to start because the first couple of weeks can be brutal as your body dumps the toxins and adjusts to the proper human diet. You might decide to turn to carnivore in stages. Dump the sugar and refined carbs right away. But do your research and decide for yourself what you think will work for you and how much you are willing to go through. I promise things will improve eating this proper human diet. I am 76 and feel so good I almost can't believe it. My best wishes for your healing journey. You can do it!❤
@victorialove9104 Thank you so much for the encouragement. I plan on moving forward. I just through out Popsicles, frozen yogurts I had here for my grand children. Have boxes of cereal to get out along with many other chips, dips, etc,, I had 2 scrambled egg yokes with a pot roast I cooked in a slow cooker yesterday. Added, salt, butter & bacon grease, just small amount . So breakfast is done. I have pork chops in fridge, not sure how to cook those yet. Maybe fry them in bacon fat. Anyways I will press forward. God bless you all for taking the time to answer back.
I have rheumatoid arthritis and went on the Carnivore Way of Life for 10 days. My joints were moving so much better and I had more energy! I feel amazing! I am also a follower of Dr. Berry, he is a great help to this new way of Life for me.
Thank you for reminding me that ground beef tastes better if prepared in a crispy way. Your suggestions are budget-friendly and practical. Often I also eat precooked stuff without heating it up again.
My go to steak cooking method. Let sit to room temp, add salt. Get grill plate to smoking (no oil), steak 3 min per side, then rest 3 min = perfect med-rare (let sit for longer for medium). Quick, simple, juicy and delish.
I just lost 6 lbs. during my first week on carnivore after mixed results on stints of keto. Yesterday(Fridays) was my weekly weigh-in. This is such a helpful video and I'm making the stew meat TONIGHT! Thank you for everything you're doing...I'm really looking forward to the Healing Humanity documentary. I may go for the long haul on this, because I'm already feeling so many positive benefits!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! This could be exactly what I need to do...by having plenty of food already made or cooking to deal with these intense cravings I struggle with! You are an answer to prayers, Kerry!!! God bless you all and all here!!! 🙏 ❤
My philosophy is that if it seems like carnivore gets old after awhile, due to eating a lot of the same things, oh well, that’s still better than eating anything that is metabolically unhealthy.
Before carnivore, I was sleepy all the time and then I noticed hubby was too. He decided to do IF and then one day he says I want to carnivore full commitment. We have energy to walk every day together. No more fat sleepy people.
Hey Kerry. Here's a thought I had. Have you ever tried saving some of that stew meat. Chop it up. Fry it a little. And adding it to your "Power Bowl". It might enhance the flavor of the "Power Bowl". Hope it works. Have a great day, brother!
Hi from Western Australia 🇦🇺. It’s my first week on Carnivore, and I’ll definitely be trying these recipes. I haven’t tried ribeye yet, I literally find it hard to eat beef fat, but I’m trying. Thanks for your videos, brilliant as usual. I also love watching Jen on her journey, she really helps motivate me.
Hey mate, once you’re into the diet and adapted you’ll find that your body will crave that fat. Use butter on it in the mean time. You do well. I’m no pro but I am on day 96! Lost 65 pounds and reversed diabetes.
@@curiousrooster damn 288!! I am happy now to be honest. I reversed diabetes and lost 65 pounds and frankly I’m really thankful for this whole community, but it was Kerry’s before and after video that made me jump in. Last January. I will forever be thankful.
I don't live in the US, and I think that lamb is not very popular there, but is really delicious. I will add sardines and lamb to the list, and liver for those used to the taste (I personally love liver)
I love breast of lamb, roasted. It's really fatty and tastes gorgeous once the skin has crisped up. Years ago it was really cheap, they almost gave it away. Now it's getting expensive, and you rarely get it in supermarkets now. I'm in the UK.
When I first started carnivore I made liver pate I loved it, my body needed it I could eat it all as a meal. Now I can’t stand the taste, my body just doesn’t need it anymore.
Butter, garlic and steak tips are awesome. Short ribs and ox tail. Put that in a crock pot, little water, salt pepper onion powder and garlic powder. Amazing broth, tons of fat, and tender meat you hardly have to chew. Chicken wings, salt and pepper, 1 TBS butter, 375 for 30 min, flip, 30 more and done. Easy as can be. Season how you want or fix up a butter sauce. We do use garlic and onion powder for seasoning but no sugars. Great suggestions in this video!!
I am 56 years old and I am 5‘9“. I’ve been doing the carnivore way of eating for about a year and a half now. When I first started, I weighed 337 pounds and now I am down to 240 pounds. My meal planning consist of steak and ground beef and pork chops and eggs and bacon and I only use butter grass fed. The only thing I drink is one cup of coffee, black no creamers no sugars and I drink a shit load of water. I feel 100% better and I have more energy than I have had in a long time.
I heard that if you take a magnesium powder with a drink, that your body will absorb the water more easily.. (i think it was magnesium, sorry if i didn't recall the correct word)
I really enjoy your videos. I started carnivore two weeks ago. You were definitely a big influence on me. You have to be beyond proud of your family for making the switch to carnivore. I signed up for SBG I think the same time as your wife. April 2. Thanks so much for being so humble and real. ❤
With the slow cooker method I like to use. Just use a whole chuck roast with a tiny tiny bit of flittered water so that after the 10 to 12 hrs there is a delicious rue to spread over what ever eggs you like...I gotta shut up I'm drooling already
Eating your stew meat recipe as I listen to this podcast on my work lunch break outside. Enjoying the sun and breeze on my face and delicious meat, chased by a yummy broth. Thank you❣️ Now I'm fortified to go back inside and be the nurse to ICU patients who could have really used this way of eating. 😥
I enjoyed this video. Thank you! I have been doing carnivore since January 11th. One day after I first heard about carnivore! I was doing intermittent fasting for 3 years and it changed my life. But I sure see even more great results of health once I started carnivore. I was so addicted to sugar and carbs!! I sleep so much better than I have for many years. And I have energy! Thank you for all the videos you have made!!
@@SharonLAMMAS Hi! Early on I had stopped intermittent fasting after starting carnivore. I am still figuring out what works best for me. So I am 50/50 doing intermittent fasting along with carnivore. I have gained weight with carnivore but I feel better and sleep better too.
Dude I hope you make it to Netflix you deserve it. Skin was terrible and now 80% better. I noticed your daughter had acne and now her skin is glowing. Again thank you and berry
I love this video! You & your kids are glowing! Healthy, happy, & truly living life again! It's such a beautiful thing to see. Carnivores treating me well also. It's the most life-changing thing I've done to improve my health. I'll never go back to the SAD diet! Thank you for your inspiration!
Oh my goodness! Written down - have not had bacon - tell me your brand! Riverbend is also a good order beef company! 15 week carivore! Feel great! Still healing! 💜🙏🏻💜 Go Mann family - my tribe!
I have been struggling for many years. I ate very well as I love salads and had given up dairy - ate mostly chicken and veggies. Then I got bad news from the lab and I had to rethink everything. It wasn’t until I added two scrambled eggs every morning that I felt the lift. I can’t get over it. Not only have I lost weight, I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time. Food is in fact, medicine.
I'd like to suggest you check out good ranchers! Grass fed, grain finished, AMERICAN COWS...and not shipped across the globe from Australia... and keeps our money here supporting the small farmers ❤️ even dr berry has said nutritionally gras fed and finished and conventional feed lot is less than 5% nutrition different... and grain finished ( usually 10 to 20 days of their whole life) is in the middle of thst 5% and American made ❤️ I have friends in Australia and new Zealand who have both said their "grassfed" doesn't mean what it does here in the us... they are extremely huge users of synthetic fertilizers...and some days the beaches are even shut down becuase the run off into the ocean from the rain would make humans get very sick... and that's what the animals are eating in their grass... just some things to think about!
A year ago December, I watched on of your videos and it brought me to tears. At 65 years old 5'9" I was over 310 lbs. I felt terrible all the time physically and mentally. So i committed to starting carnivore. Its now Oct and I've lost 100 pounds and I feel great. I have to give you credit for starting me out in the right direction.
day 34... easier each day... husband got a cold and i was hoping maybe i wouldn't since doing carnivore...but nope.. but don't feel as bad as i normally do so maybe it's already helping. 🐄🤠
Hi Kerry. I am so glad for this video. I’m on day 3 and you, Jen and Emma are so inspiring. We are having ribeyes for dinner tonight and I’m telling my husband to cook it The Kerry Mann way! 😄
You are an inspiration Sir. I enjoy your video. I started carnivore in August and I’m down 35 pounds. I love the carnivore diet, it has definitely helped me with weight loss, especially with my blood pressure and blood sugar. Keep the videos coming. Thank you. 🙂
Carnivore worked a long time until I started eating “cheap” meat bc of budget. I suffered histamine sores on arms, chest and back. So, still fighting the lard issue as a lifelong fatso. Almost done in the flesh at 77 so counting on God to have Mercy. Homestead you have morphed into movie star looks saving so many people from a life of corpulence. Stay blessed sir.
Not the attitude to have. Living on a fixed income is better than no income. I'm not on carnivore. Just stumbled onto thus video. Mid 70's here. Lung issues. I'm NOT asking God to have mercy. He's granted us that. I'm asking Him to keep me going the gym. Breathing exercises and be my strength. God bless my dear. Prayers up 🙏🏼✝️🙌🏼
Oh and btw-today is day 1 on carnivore!!! Wooohooo!!! 64 years old, plagued with numerous health issues, hopefully to soon be 64 years young and way-fewer-to-no-health-issues!! I’m thankful to have found your channel!
Kerry you're the best! I'm just eating 4 hard-boiled eggs fried in butter, leftover gr beef was cooked in beef tallow reheated in egg pan. And 8 cold well cooked bacon So easy & fast!!
Scotch eggs are great, too. Boiled egg encased neither breakfast sausage or fatty ground beef. I wrap mine with 2 strips of bacon and bake them at 350° for 25 minutes or until bacon is to your perfection. These are really good!
My favorite carnivore meal over the past year is chuck roast and eggs. I buy this huge chuck roast at Costco and cook it in the Instant Pot for 2 hours. Then I chill it in the refrigerator over night. That’s key. This prevents it from shredding. Then I cut it up into cubes. Has so much great fat marbled in it. I make scrambled eggs cooked in bacon fat, and I put a huge chunk of butter over the meat and warm it up in the microwave, and put the eggs on top. It’s so satiating, I can’t eat this and be full all day!
If I have scrambled eggs, I have the whole egg. If I have sunny-side up eggs, I have only the yolks but with just a wee bit of the whites; even less whites than what you had in the pan. I just don't like the whites by themselves. I guess it's the texture of the whites alone that I don't like. That's why I can have the whites scrambled together with the yolks.
New subscriber. I am educating myself on this diet and will be starting by July 28 this year. I need to prepare myself mentally, emotionally, physically and financially, and primarily spirituality because everything in my life begins with my relationship with Christ Jesus, my Savior, my LORD, my everything. I am graceful that I found your channel. Blessings and favor to you and your family.
I love my slow cooker! I don’t add ANY liquid and just let it cook in its own juices. Fabulous. Also. I’ve found my air fryer makes the best steak. Luckily we grow our own beef and lamb. A thank you to them at each meal
Nephew used to work at Costco. He said the stew meat is all the scraps from rivers, filet mignon and sirloin steaks. It is the best deal by far, and the reason it is so good the way you slow cook it!
OMG, that slow cooking sounds so good, definitely gonna try it. Since u shared with us, I'll share a delicious one with u... Start ur pan on a burner on low, Use ur oil of choice, I use olive oil, bacon grease, and finish with butter. Poor in a good layer of pork rinds, Sprinkle a light layer of white cheese, Add a layer of pepperoni and sausage, (makes for great flavor), Add another layer of white cheese, (cheese layers keeps the dish together), Add chunks of chicken, it really compliments the spicy meats. Season with ur seasons of choice, (powdered garlic and smoked paprika, plus what else u choose is tasty) Now add another layer of cheese. I also like to add organic diced tomatoes and olives, it really adds to the flavor, but it's optional if u don't eat them. U can add another layer of pork rinds and top off with more cheese, if desired, or don't top off with more pork rinds, your choice, but always top off with cheese. This is like a cross between pizza and nachos, and is super delicious. Plus u can make it with any choice of meats and cheese, but white cheese tastes the best. Cook on low heat, (so not to burn), on a burner with a lid till all is warm and melted together. Thanks for the meat ideas, great info. 👍
I made a variation of ground beef and scrambled eggs. I had left over meatloaf and chopped it up relatively fine and put it into the eggs. Very good. My meatloaf is carnivore-ish using pork panko, garlic and onion powder, s & p.
Thank you for all those cooking tips. How do you not overcook the steak? I'll listen to this again. So happy for you guys. I'm trying to get my husband carnivore but boy he likes his poisons.
He didn't mention boiling steak, but I've done it a few times and it's easy, fast. I like my steak a bit rare, so 4 minutes max at roiling boil. I also hate charring, so boiling is perfect for me to not have to cut all that off.
Thank you so much for the stew meat recipe, ive been on carivore but my wife was not a fan of really no meat, however i made the stew meat recipe and she ate it all i haven't even got a bite, thanks i really appreciate you buddy!
Hi I have been watching you and others for some time. I'm a 37 year old British male. I had a heart attack last year and I was type 2 diabetic. I was on 9 different medications and my whole body was hurting. I work in construction and it was literally hell each day working in pain and taking tramadol just to earn a wage. 8 days ago I started carnivore. Literally ribeye eggs bacon and lamb chops, water with celtic salts for electrolytes and I only eat diner each day around 4ish. My God this is life changing by day four 90% of my pain had gone. I can work without painkillers. By day 5 my energy was relentless like I was 19 again. My mood is so good I'm full up until midday and I'm drinking the water till I get home. I have seriously lost 10lbs and 4.5 of that was overnight granted I'm aware of the water retention etc but this is genuinely life changing. I have stopped taking all meds because when I do I crash. I'm not telling my doctor I have come of the meds I'm just going to get my bloods done in 40 days time and I'm really looking forward to seeing the results. Thank you mate sincerely. My wife is starting it this Tuesday
went from a fully junk died for my whole life, 110kg full of health issues, directly on Lion's diet. steak n salt. kept my morning coffee also. 1 shot of espresso 2 hours after waking up. 6 weeks into it already, went down to 92kg, never feel hungry, full of energy ready to conquer the world. just note that, i drink 3-4 liters of water daily since caffeine and tobacco makes me more thirsty (yes, im a smoker too), and I eat just 2 meals a day within 4-5 hours and that's it. no more sleeping apnea, no more kidney stones, no more stomach acid/fluid, no more depression, i just stand up when sitting on my computer and do exercises just because I feel energetic, no more headaches, no more overthinking, i sleep like a baby from 3-4 hours daily (before lions diet), to now 7-8 hours. my skin is shining like im a teenager again (currently 38yo). i don't get disappointed about anything anymore, just trying harder. just 6 weeks in, and what keeps me going, is the curiosity of how I'll be in 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 3 years etc. Dudes and Dudettes out there, last thing i need to do is find the strength to quit smoking after 23 years. Pray for me, this anonymous person sharing this story, speak with the universe and give me the strength to do it. Anyway, i feel better than ever, my confidence level is to the moon, got 90% success ratio when flirting with Females even if they are considered 8s 9s or 10s. Too shy though to get in front of a camera to share my story. I value my anonymity and privacy but, you..yes you, the person who reads this comment, if me, a food junkie, a lazy buddha looking fella from a small island called Cyprus deep into Mediterranean sea could do it, there's literally no one who can't. Thanks for sharing your story, I smoked 20 a day for 40 years and just could not stop, so I understand the terrible addition to cigarettes. I am currently over 3 years away from my last cigarette. Try reading a book called The Easy Way To Stop Smoking by Allan Carr. I know it sounds insane to stop smoking by reading a book but it worked for me and I feel blessed to have stopped smoking. Congratulations! Well done. I too have gain a lot of everything you’ve shared. Even the struggle with smoking. Of course smoking is bad for us, but I’d rather have one addiction than to have two. Work in progress. Thank you for sharing your story. 🫡
Day 7 here, but using Alternate Day Fasting (36 hours) with it. Lost 8.8 pounds so far with 1/2 inch waist reduction. Need to get my A1C below 5.8. Insulin resistant so slow going. Going to try your breakfast pizza.
I originally was planning on 90 days carnivore to see how I felt. I’m 10 months in and have no plans on when or if I’ll modify! I’ve been 99% strict, with the exception of a few veggies here and there while on vacation…Veggies have been my “Cheat”!! Ribeyes, bacon, eggs and butter have literally been 90% of my meals! I intermittent fast also, typically 18-6 or OMAD I couple days a week too! I feel and look great 😁🤷🏻♂️💪
I would love to know the meals you prepared and how to make them! I am going to start carnivore.. i am overweight/obese and have a shit ton of disorders things wrong with my body.. so I'm ready to try this! Thank you for your response! 😊
@@renaephillips8306 Hey, so, I wasn’t super overweight to begin with, nor do I have any serious metabolic issues. I was simply tired of being a slave to sugar!! I started a year out with a seven day water only fast. Since then I have been 99% animal-based high fat, high protein. My typical day includes lifting weights, moderate amount of steps intermittent fasting 18/6 ! I usually break my fast around 3 PM and have six or eight eggs a few hours later around 7 PM. I make myself a fat ribeye and six or eight pieces of bacon with loads of butter! It doesn’t make any sense, especially from what we’ve been taught in the narratives that we’ve been fed over the last few decades. But the key is zero sugar secretes zero insulin and insulin is a fat storing hormone. I would continue to watch videos and read the comments from people, literally thousands of comments that I’ve read where people have transformed their lives . Give it 90 days super super strict and I can guarantee you’re going to see results and feel results! Stay the course stack, good habits, and we must be disciplined anything in life that is good for you, takes discipline 💪 You can and will do it 👏😁
My favourite is roast lamb. Always grass fed as far as I know.. Often on special for $11/kilo here in New Zealand. I cook it at low heat for hours. Then I cook up the bones to make bone broth.
I am on Day 5...prayers would be greatly appreciated. Your videos are soo inspirational. I found them on day one after l already started. And the encouragement from the Testimonies in the comments really helped. This is an excellent channel, very encouraging. I had a Doctor appointment on Day 3... She was screaming at me not to go on this Diet. Soo l smiled and said ok. She's overweight... hopefully she can see my journey and start asking me in a few months whats happening. Thanks again. 💞💥
We do a salted chuck roast on low in the crockpot with a big chunk of kerrygold butter on top from the beginning (maybe 1/2 cup). No other liquid. It's really good! The meat has a little bit of crust on the outside, and really tender on the inside, and when the meat is done cooking there is a nice buttery broth just from the juices and added butter.
Im on day 1 of carnivore but my diet is already over 50% meat & eggs anyways. I like to cook ground beef with cottage cheese and pour it over scrambled eggs. so delicious
Jeez man, you literally transformed! Outstanding! I think I’m gonna go for it. I’m on keto and mainly meat focused, but considering going full throttle.
Give yourself 30 days. The first 2 weeks were really rough. Changes to gut and a 60 yr sugar addiction. I tell everyone you have to go thru hell to get to heaven. At least I did. Once you hit 90. You may never go back. Your brain will be exceptional and body healed from a miriad of things you didn’t know you had. I gte you will feel better than you ever have.

What a journey. Did I say I’ve stopped all Rx drugs?? No longer pre-diabetic. Cholesterol perfect. I could go on and on. THANK YOU for your videos. Enthusiasm. Information. Hugs from an old guy (my wife loves the new me)!
Congratulations on your weight loss and healing! Stay the course, it only gets better
Yes Dewey!
Especially if we live to 120 like we’re supposed to. 🎉
I am having the power breakfast right now. I was watching and thought I wantbto try the powerbowl. No regrets, tastes amazing!!!!!
Congrats! but I don’t understand how someone who is still morbidly obese NOT pre-diabetic. Just sayin’…
You are a treasure to the carnivore community. Not only are you inspiring with your enthusiasm but you have such great ideas to share with us.
I agree.
Took me 15 weeks to start feeling better, now to get my strength back, never give up, go carnivore !!
cut the dairy. Skim milk full of sugar.
Heavy cream is a fat and doesn't affect blood sugar.
And kefir grains eat the sugar from the lactose.
very good!
@@beckdermthey said cream, not skim milk. Not the same thing.
I've been eating carnivore for a year and a half now. The longer I eat this way the more I like beef but always have hardboiled eggs and cooked bacon on hand for snacks.
Hi Kerry I stopped eating cheese and I lost 3 pounds in two days. I thank you so much
U must eat a lot of cheese everyday for that to happen.
Cheese is addicting, to much will stall your wieght lose, I had to quit it, cant eat just a little
I think you were on toilet and had a big shit!!
I stopped dairy and started alcohol.
😂😂😂😂😂 yeah you did 😆 🤣
I'm going to try that. Sounds delicious
Great with almost everything
I still have my mom's meat grinder from the 50's (?).
Thanks, I'm starving now!

PS i have always made stew meat. It was often made as a meal for those who need good nourishment going back centuries in the uk, often cooked very slowly in a sealed container for 24 hours. Seems to me you'll stopped eating everything but real food. not so much carnivore diet, you cut out all the other keyrap. doughnuts, pizza, chips, ice cream, chocolate bars, cereals, jellies, jams, you wnet back to food.
Slow roasted fatty lamb is my favourite. 🐑

My philosophy is that if it seems like carnivore gets old after awhile, due to eating a lot of the same things, oh well, that’s still better than eating anything that is metabolically unhealthy.
If you’re looking to diversify, adding back spices or things like onions and garlic or even tomatoes 🍅 will help. 💪🏼

In Perth too.
Raw liver love it! Try it Sweet!

Yes! Support our ranchers. The grain is only given at the end. They grow up on grass! Not Brazilian beef, either. We should not be importing any beef.
Butcher Box is shipped from our local ranching families, the price is locked it will not go up.

I'm curious too cause I'm getting ready to start
Kerry you're the best!
I'm just eating 4 hard-boiled eggs fried in butter, leftover gr beef was cooked in beef tallow reheated in egg pan. And 8 cold well cooked bacon
So easy & fast!!
Costco has a sale going on for Kerrygold butter. Stocked up yesterday. $3.80 off.
Scotch eggs are great, too. Boiled egg encased neither breakfast sausage or fatty ground beef. I wrap mine with 2 strips of bacon and bake them at 350° for 25 minutes or until bacon is to your perfection. These are really good!
" encased in either..." just saw this, Lol!
Ooooooh

OMG, that slow cooking sounds so good, definitely gonna try it.
Since u shared with us, I'll share a delicious one with u...
Start ur pan on a burner on low,
Use ur oil of choice, I use olive oil, bacon grease, and finish with butter.
Poor in a good layer of pork rinds,
Sprinkle a light layer of white cheese,
Add a layer of pepperoni and sausage, (makes for great flavor),
Add another layer of white cheese, (cheese layers keeps the dish together),
Add chunks of chicken, it really compliments the spicy meats.
Season with ur seasons of choice, (powdered garlic and smoked paprika, plus what else u choose is tasty)
Now add another layer of cheese.

And their free range eggs. You can't beat that and your supporting local farms. 😁
He didn't mention boiling steak, but I've done it a few times and it's easy, fast. I like my steak a bit rare, so 4 minutes max at roiling boil. I also hate charring, so boiling is perfect for me to not have to cut all that off.

I apologize for my broken English but yeah... Sisters and brothers out there, love yourself more than anything, take care of yourself, it's NEVER too late, and you'll not regret this. Peace and love to all (except from bankers and politicians).
All the best, you can do it!
Lol you're eating healthy for nothing if you're smoking.
@@cho7707 So I should go back eating trash food since I'm smoking?
@@cho7707This might be the silliest think I’ve read in the comments section. Sure smoking is bad for us, but to say that after the person has listed ALL those health accomplishments are just insane. You were better off not commenting at all. You may have a win for not smoking, but you’ve lost in life for not being kind. 💯📠
Congratulations! Well done. I too have gain a lot of everything you’ve shared. Even the struggle with smoking. Of course smoking is bad for us, but I’d rather have one addiction than to have two. Work in progress. Thank you for sharing your story. 🫡
Thanks for keeping us fired up!!!
Day 7 here, but using Alternate Day Fasting (36 hours) with it. Lost 8.8
pounds so far with 1/2 inch waist reduction.
Stay the course stack, good habits, and we must be disciplined anything in life that is good for you, takes discipline 💪
You can and will do it 👏😁
@Brad238 thank you! 😊
@@Brad238 I have had the best results with intermittent fasting, so I do plan on including that with a carnivore/keto-vore diet..
My favourite is roast lamb. Always grass fed as far as I know.. Often on special for $11/kilo here in New Zealand. I cook it at low heat for hours. Then I cook up the bones to make bone broth.
Hey kiwi
Thank you so much for this. Needed some new ideas. Love carnivore. You are an inspiration. ❤
We want a video about the appliances you're using.
Thank you for your recommendation for Buther Box
