@drmarkhyman You're a saint for readily sharing what can be life saving information for some people. So many do not trust doctors or don't like going to a medical facility for various reasons. You're a true light in the medical field & I'm grateful that I found you a couple of years ago when my friend had been diagnosed with several gut related issues. Had I not been able to gather information for him to talk to his doctors about and show him how to begin removing, replacing and reforming his habits he would've died. His doctor at the time told him there was really not much left to be done except help him be as comfortable as possible. I'm not the type to except status quo or sit back quietly and stumbling across you're Longevity video in which you shared your own story of surviving gut issues, it was perfect timing and I cannot express how thankful to you I am. You literally helped save my best friend's life.

Thank you for the information-dense presentation. I have diverticulosis and gluten sensitivity. I have trouble with social gatherings because even family and friends keep shoving breads and pastries under my nose. I am at the point where I need to bring my own food to these occasions, out of self defense.

I call the restaurant or venue prior to going to gatherings. I usually call during less busy hours & ask for lead cook & head chef. When I do that, the chefs are very accommodating. I went to a conference in August & spoke w/head chef. He was very accommodating!
I have a lot of food sensitivities & I had Gastritis real bad. An Endoscopy was done in 2020 & only found Gastritis. My NP said it was STRESS. I AGREED! In 2019, I divorced my ex-husband. My relationship w/him & previous trauma triggered CPSTD for me during that time!
Since November 2019, I personally stop eating dairy & eggs. I buy halal or Amish meat. I buy gluten free, dairy free, wheat, & nut free wraps, & pasta. I love cornbread & have had to eliminate that! When I eat sugar, it's raw honey or raw organic sugar. I haven't eaten white sugar in years. When I get a sweet tooth, I eat plant-based cookies that are nut free, dairy free, gluten free, etc. If I do eat pasta, it is red lentil pasta.
Dates help for me to stay regular, especially at night.
I do plant-based dairy now. I use it in my smoothies. I do more intermittent fasting now.
I do hydrocolonic cleanses & that has been a game changer. I did a21-dayy Daniel fast before getting a cleanse. After my cleanse, my tech asked how I felt. I said dizzy. She said my electrolytes were low & she gave me 2-3 oz aloe juice & knocked my dizziness right away & now I put aloe juice in my smoothies. After that cleanse, I had to go to the bathroom the second time & it was uncontrollable. When I was done, I saw them with little parasites. My tech said my body was probably on the rinse cycle with the cleanse because I was on a fast. I also took a couple tablespoons of castor oil a couple days before my cleanse.
Lastly, I like to do IV Hydration Cleanses aka Myers cocktail. I get it with Glutathione. Glutathione helps get heavy metals out of the body. From my research, heavy metals are one of the culprits to food sensitivities & food allergies.
My ultimate goal is to do a Duck Flower Detox.

I went on the carnivore diet and immediately my gut calmed down as well as the inflammation in my spine and joints...but now after 8 months into it,while still consuming dairy, I'm experiencing some of the previous symptoms and I am very miserable, because...deep down...I have this gut-feeling,that it is time to cut out dairy as well!I LOVE all dairy! But,I suppose one has to weigh things up... so uncomfortable, frequent stomach cramps and diarrhea.NOT worth it!😢

    • @tahirballikaya213

Carnivore diet is the worst diet for your gut as it contains very little to no Fibre. It's normal to give you temporary relief since most animal foods are low fodmap. So you are not eating trigger food. My IBS got worse after being carnivore for several weeks even though it gave me relief in the beginning. But eventually it worsened my gut health and my IBS got worse. I'm now eating high Fibre food even though I can't tolerate many. But I feel the best after many years and I can feel the improvement.

I had to give up dairy too 😢 it was probably the most difficult for me! I did carnivore too and was so happy eating eggs and bacon! Turns out I'm allergic to eggs too 😢
All that being said, I'm healing my gut and naturally losing weight since cutting out the 6 problematic food allergens! Hang in there!

Have you tried dairy from A2 type, organic, grass fed cow? This cow will not have the gene mutation that commonly causes dairy intolerance. May be worth testing out. You can find yogurt at Costco, for example, that is from A2 type cow. Get some pure monk fruit powder to sweeten it (zero glucose spike) and a little lemon juice to help cleanse that liver and you have yourself a delicious and nutritious yogurt with all the benefits and none of the downsides. Also, try supplementing pure acacia fiber to keep you nice and regular 😉 When starting a fiber supplement, start small and build up over time. Drink lots of filtered water with minerals like Baja Gold Salt. Good luck!

I have IBS (diarrhea and sometimes constipation). I eat a low FODMAP diet. It’s the only thing that helps me manage my symptoms. Sometimes I can safely eat certain foods, but I have to be very careful with amounts and mixing certain categories of high FODMAP foods. Onions, garlic, and honey are some of my worst triggers. Those were the hardest for me to give up. I also can’t have anything with high fructose corn syrup. Certain breads, pastas, and cereals also cause me problems.

    • @tahirballikaya213
      @tahirballikaya213 Місяць тому +1

Try to keep your Fibre quantity as high as possible with non trigger foods. Fibre is what will eventually heal your gut. Low fodmap is just temporary symptom relief but not actually healing you of you don't heal your gut

Thank you so much. I've suffered from IBSD for over 10 years, mostly related to anxiety, but a month ago it turned into hell for me. I started waking up in the middle of the night having to go to the washroom, every 20 minutes, sometimes over 12 movements a night. So in response, I started only eating limited food before 2pm and nothing after, I needed to have sleep. It got worse, cramping and red blood from straining. I ended up in the ER and they did many tests but as the doctor said, I'm a mystery. I've lost 6 pounds in two weeks, a month. The only thing my doctor told me to do was take immodium, which helps stop but when it quit after two days it's back to normal diarrhea, now with cramps as well. I had been on a clean food no carbs or sugar diet for two years, and this came out of the blue. My doctor as of yesterday is sending me to a GI doctor for further tests. I really appreciate all your videos.
