I love how they embrace the effectiveness of simplicity and focus on tones, emotions, the overall vibe/feel of the song, etc. It's an honest display of discipline and maturity when musicians demonstrate how less is more. very tasteful!

I've been in love with guitars and the playing of them for over 50 years. I can play most anything I hear, and that's a bunch. Gary blows me away kinda like Terry Kath of Chicago. Just scratch your head and enjoy the sound because you will not figure it out.

Yup, dude is legit. I first heard his music in the Netflix series Luke Cage. That entire series has one of the best sound tracks any media has ever had. So much blues, jazz, reggae.

In his songs like this one he's able to complete an entire musical thought. It is not quick to wit like something aimed at at modern Market. In my day it was Devo. I have been waiting for this video to come back around. I was checking this out a couple of years ago. This is sweet blues, modern day blues. If you're a blues fan and you haven't seen this, you missed the last chapter in the story. This guy is the next blues star. It was Steve Ray Vaughan and now it is Gary Clark Jr. He's it. Gary Clark Jr. has a Jimi Hendrix feel with a back beat blues. Hot stuff...

I've been in love with guitars and the playing of them for over 50 years. I can play most anything I hear, and that's a bunch. Gary blows me away kinda like Terry Kath of Chicago. Just scratch your head and enjoy the sound because you will not figure it out.

Yup, dude is legit. I first heard his music in the Netflix series Luke Cage. That entire series has one of the best sound tracks any media has ever had. So much blues, jazz, reggae.

I just love the tone of this song. Like he's aspiring to get big. And at his biggest gig to date at that point he remains stoic behind those giant aviators. He's just so blues. Its great.

I have listened to him for a very long time. His greatest gift to blues rock music Etc is his ability to build a blues rock crescendo. In his songs like this one he's able to complete an entire musical thought. It is not quick to wit like something aimed at at modern Market. In my day it was Devo.
