    This is AWESOME! I was a little nervous about leaving the quarter size hole and then pulling... but it left me with the perfect top! Thank you! ❤

    I'm finishing my first amigurumi and the book didn't really explain how to close the hole at the end, so this was super helpful! Thank you!

    How many chains does your circle have when you close it off?

    • @olliehollycrochet
      @olliehollycrochet  6 місяців тому +1

      I usually end with 12 stitches when I’m closing it off. If you’re finding that closing the hole with 12 is difficult, you can decrease down to 8 or 6 then close the hole.
      Decreasing down to 8: (sc, dec) x 4 [8]
      Decreasing down to 6: 6dec

    The only thing I do differently is at the end I weave it through the center of the project, but I put the needle back into the same exact hole it came out of instead of the next one over. The stuffing fibers inside do enough to hold it in place.

    I’ve seen where others go through the first loop from the front then the next from the back alternating all the way around. Is there a difference or do they both give the same results?

    Hi! A beginner here. Can you pelase tell me how did you get that seamless end on each round? How do you end each round, so that there isn't any seam? I always get a visible seam caused by the slip stitches that I make by the end of each round.

    • @olliehollycrochet
      @olliehollycrochet  2 місяці тому

      Hi there! For amigurumi, you don’t have to slip stitch at the end of each round, just work directly into the first stitch from the previous round.
      I have an amigurumi tutorial for beginners that’s pretty helpful if you’re interested: ua-cam.com/video/ushHnIxLdYw/v-deo.htmlsi=JDqboOrFhR37yOMX
      Hope this helps!

    I was using this method and the yarn snapped right at the point attached to the piece and i cant find the end is there any way i can fix this?

    • @olliehollycrochet
      @olliehollycrochet  2 місяці тому

      This is kinda tricky, you could thread a long strand of yarn through the side of your project and out the last visible stitch in the open hole, then continue along like it’s the tail. Not sure if this makes sense, but hopefully helps!

    Thank you for the tutorial❤️ may I know did you use invisible decrease or crochet together? The decrease stitches look so neat n tidy!

    • @olliehollycrochet
      @olliehollycrochet  2 роки тому

      Hi! I go over it in my amigurumi for beginners tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/ushHnIxLdYw/v-deo.html
      The time stamps are in the description box, just look for the Invisible Decrease time stamp! :)
      Hope this helps!
