I love you ❤❤❤ for people who don’t understand I hope you understand someday and instead of crotcheting into the circle 8 times, do it 6 because 8 will give a big knot at the end. Btw 6 is the real amount your supposed to be doing it for beginners. If you’d like to do 8 that’s on you but I’m so happy right now I’m screaming 🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊😊

    Ma’am. YOU ARE THE REAL CROCHET M.V.P.!!! 🧶 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
After hours of watching UA-cam videos and practicing this “simple” technique, I ended up with a magic ring graveyard of lopsided circles or perfect ones with a tail that wouldn’t pull that had become a knot! I figured I would try one last video and was so happy I found this one!!! you go slow enough and explain where each piece of yarn should be. I still had to slow it to .50 and pause lol, but that is me not you haha. Thank you so much for the very detailed step-by-step and not going lightning fast. I bought a (not cheap!) beginner amigurumi kit in January in order to make a gift for my child for Valentine’s Day. I watched all the kit’s videos, along with what felt like every other magic ring tutorial on UA-cam. It has been the most frustrating experience, especially since I am accomplished at sewing, embroidery, and knitting, but I found it impossible to create a magic ring until I found your video. The key piece of information you provide is that not only do I need to crochet through the magic circle (which I knew), but that in order for it to work, I have to crochet over the tail as well. Not one other beginner magic ring tutorial that I’ve seen mentions that (and trust me, I’ve watched a ton). Since January, I have been spending 10 - 15 minutes at least four evenings a week, trying to master the magic ring, until I get to a point where I have to put it down to maintain my sanity. Your video is the breakthrough I needed, and I have now spent the last hour crocheting, undoing and re-crocheting a magic ring to cement this skill in my brain. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This has been the bane of my existence for years. I tried so many videos. Thank you SO MUCH for this, turns out what I needed was A) a slow enough explanation to be able to replicate it on my own and B) the note to make sure to crochet over both strings! That was why I could do as many correct rings as I did and always failed! Now I'm on the path to a little crochet kitten and couldn't be happier. Thanks so so much!

Just droping in to say that after several days of going through different tutorials, and giving up out of frustration, this is the video that made me realize what I was doing wrong and I'm honestly embarrassed that I took me this long to realize
Somehow through all the tutorials I watched I would always skip the step where you increase the stitch, So after I finish my first loop, there weren't any sc for me to pull my yarn through for the next round, I gave it another shot making sure to increase every stitch and it fixed the problem immediately 😭 a week of frustration and believing that I would never be able to understand and turns out I was skipping the most crucial step 💀💀💀
Good news is now I can finally make those star amigurumi that I've been looking at for the past 2 weeks, I am unstoppable 😈😈

Thank you so much! I've watched loads of how to but you explained it so well, it was slow, easy to follow and close-up, easy to see. The penny has now dropped! I am now subscribed! Thank you ❤

This was THE best magic ring tutorial ever! I'm a beginner and started crocheting a Woobles "beginner" kit because it's supposed to be for beginners, BUT the tutorials are way too confusing in my honest opinion or maybe my brain wasn't braining😅 This tutorial was very clear, straightforward and not too fast. I usually don't make comments, but really wanted to thank you for your clear and concise tutorial. Thank youu🤩 Subscribed! :)
