I was watching this video and I am not yet well versed enough in Hindi yet to perfectly understand all of what you said but... It seems you made a statement that "Dal... It's not a complete source of protein"... I can assure you that is not true. Lentils or any grains and legumes have ALL the essential amino acids. It's just that one or two essential amino acids are around 80 percent less per gram of lentil than the top quality sources like egg whites, soy or milk proteins. But, when you eat 1.3 grams of protein per KILOGRAM(not lbs) of bodyweight a day, ALL your essential amino acids will be present in your diet in more quantities than what your body can process in a day, even if you are all of that protein from any single plant source (hypothetically speaking)... Certain animal proteins like gelatin though, are not complete protein, they DO lack one or more essential amino acids.
TheAlexmercer360 not all amino acids are present there. Among 9, 7 amino acids are there in dal. If you consume it with grains like rice then you will get all the amino acid.
TheAlexmercer360... He said that Dal is not a complete source of protein but in his next video he'll tell how to make dal a complete source of protein...
@@TheAlexmercer360batmanfan hello friend, I eat vegetables and meat both. I am not that much expert in nutrition. What I do is, I eat 12 egg whites and chickpeas around 500 gm per day. Will it be enough to make my protein intake full? My weight is 64 kg now and I have water in my body. So, I want to make my muscle hard. That is why I want to keep my protein and carb ratio 1:2 . Am I doing right? Guru maan sir is busy of course, Will you please give me an answer?
Sir Guru Mann you're such an INSPIRATION for all the youngsters not only from India but around the World 🌎 I play alot of sports especially CRICKET🏏So not just me but we all need you to Design the ATHLETE PROGRAM(Workout, Exercise, Diet, Do's, Dont's etc) for the Fitness like VIRAT KOHLI as you know how much we love Cricket & we really want to be on his fitness level❤️
awesome guru maan, getting lean protein for non vegetarian's is easy task but vegetarian's has less and complicated options. I'm glad that you are helping and educating vegetarians in this direction. hatsoff
Most of the daals have protein: carbs 1:2.5 to 1:3 Rajma, Urad daal, masoor daal, moong daal protein:carbs 1:2.5 . Toor daal is 1:3 In actual, it doesn't seem that protein:carbs ratio of 1:3 is too much carbohydrates but probably he is considering that people are not going to control their intake of sugar and fatty stuff (not sure why he thinks 1:3 is too much carbs). One could take some part of protein from soyabean as it has protein:carbs ratio of 1:0.8 and protein:fat ratio of 1:0.5. Items like Tofu/soya chunks has much better protein:fat ratio. Other items like nuts also have good protein:carbs ratio 1:1 but protein:fat ratio is 1:2.5 which is on higher side so one could always mix and match to arrive at 1:1:3 fat/protein/carbs ratio. Daal and veggies are complete protein that myth of incomplete protein has been debunked decades ago. "The myth that plant proteins are incomplete, necessitating protein combining, was debunked by the scientific nutrition community decades ago." nutritionfacts.org/video/the-protein-combining-myth/
Guru Mann sir, you talked about sprouted lentils here. I take moong daal as normal and some times sprouted ( uncooked). So Please tell us the nutritional value of normal moong dall vs sprouted moong daal. It will be very helpful if you make a video about that. And thanx for sharing your knowledge with us and making us more fit.

Sir type II diabetic weight Kaise badaye also have high uric acid. How to manage protein as well as carbohydrates as protein causes increase in uric acid and carbs causes blood sugar. Please make video on this how to manage together
Every time legumes like beans, lentils, and peanuts are combined with grains like wheat, rice, and corn, a complete protein is born. Peanut butter on whole wheat is an easy snack that, while pretty high in calories, provides a heaping dose of all the essential amino acids and plenty of healthy fats to boot. (Google Search)

I didn't mean 80 percent less, I meant to say around 20 percent less. And present at 80 percent in comparison
