Am on fat loss right now. One advise for everyone is don't go too harsh on yourself and cut 1000-1200 calories on starting . Start from 200-300 calories less from maintenance then decrease gradually and same with cardio start increasing little bit every day another wise you will end up having crash diet symptoms and will eventually give up . Consistency is key . Good luck

1- Have a caloric deficit.
Decrease by 500-1000 calories.
2- Balance macros.
More protein, less carb, 50-70g fats.
3- Cut on sugar and salt/sodium.
Decrease to half your current consumption.
4- Add salad to your diet.
2x your current consumption half an hour before lunch and dinner.
5- Increase cardio workouts.
3-5 times a week on empty stomach or post workout for 20-30 minutes.
6- Supplements
Whey isolate, carnitine, BCAA

Aoife A decreasing calories by 1000 is way to high to keep it around 300-400
You dont need to do lot of cardio brisk walk for 10 mints 3-4 times a day is fine
Do resistance training 5-6 times a day
Use leafy veggies in salad.
Also you dont need BCAA or any other supplements if overall protein intake from natural sources is 2gm/kg body weight
