berry mango smoothie-
about 1 cup packed leafy greens(I usually use a blend of kale collards and lettuce)
1 to 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries
1 cup frozen mango (use more if you want it to be sweeter)
1 tbsp hemp seeds
1 carrot chopped
3 broccoli florets
to blend it up use about 1 to 2 cups water depending how thick you want it
blueberry muffin smoothie-
handful of greens
1 cup wild frozen blueberries
1 banana
1 tbsp hemp
1 tbsp almond butter (forgot to add in the video)
1 tsp vanilla bean powder
dash of cinnamon
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
optional- I add mixed mushroom powder plus ashwaganda
blend with about 1.5 cups of plant milk or water
tropical green smoothie
1 to 2 cups packed leafy greens
1 banana
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup frozen mango
1 tbsp hemp seeds
optional 1 scoop protein powder
optional splash of orange juice for extra sweetness
blend with about 1 to 2 cups water
chocolate pb smoothie
handful of greens
1 banana
1 scoop peanut butter
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp hemp seeds
1 to 2 dates optional if you want it extra sweet
1 scoop protein powder
handful of ice- about 7 ice cubes
blend with 1.5 cups plant milk or water
Just a anti food waste tip: often things not normally eaten, but that are packed with nutrients (often more than the edible part), can be added into smoothies. I use kale stems, beet leaves and stems, pineapple cores, and even an inch strip of banana peels. I’ve never been able to taste the bitterness they’d have if eaten in their original state. I do think the banana peel would taste bad if you used the whole peel, though. Use organic of course! You’ve made some beautiful smoothies! 😊
It would be great to see a week of veggie soups and plant based stews made in an instant pot.

Great smoothie ideas. The only problem for me is that my blender is super loud so my husband hates that noise in the morning. I tried premaking the smoothies and keeping overnight in the refrigerator but it looses its frozen and smooth consistency, so I just make them at night. I would like to see you use the uncommon veggies we never cook with, like eggplant, collard greens, beets, radishes, turnips, etc. Thanks.
Same here regarding the noise. So I’ve blended outside and in the garage when needed.
My Ninja blender is powerful, so it is extremely noisy. I have to lug the blender into the garage in the mornings so that I don't wake up my husband in the mornings. 😁

Loved this!! I’m the opposite with smoothies - I love flax seed in mine but I can’t stand hemp or chia as I feel it makes it too thick!

thank you! I dont use any greens powders, when my irons been low in the past I've taken gentle iron supplement!
Sun Warrior or Complement have great greens powders, both with independent third party testing for heavy metals.
I would love to see more of your salad recipes and cooked food recipes. It’s nice to have a variety because it’s easy to run out of ideas and that’s when I have trouble.

I’m not a vegan, but recently I’ve made your 3 salads, as well as dishes with quinoa, lentils, etc etc etc. I have to say I’m hooked! I didn’t think my husband would like them either, but he loved everything!

Great idea I made 5 smoothie packs for freezer.. I used up veggies and bananas that would have gone bad by the end of the week. I am not a vegetarian but love your recipes and have made several. I would like to see a video of what staples you stock in your pantry to made all the meals.

I have a green smoothie every day- 5 bananas!( for the calories) 1/2 lb greens and those are my favorite Berries! I also use the same protein powder but the chai flavor - it's delicious. I have to give this prep a try. I pull all the stuff out and it takes a while. You have been such an inspiration. I went WFPB in my late 50s so meal planning is still a struggle. Would love to hear about your coaching program with Dr. Furman and a nutritarian diet.

Do you eat one of those at a time ? My blinder is about half those size's. Like you I always put hemp seed in. I do kefir not water.

Chanty, For the toppings like chia seed, flax seed, protein powder, and a bunches of other toppings. If say I don’t want to mix it all together prepping them, can I still put the topping in when I want to make it the next day.

Please show us how you plan your meals and ensure that you will use all of everything you purchased. Sometimes I will buy ingredients for a recipe and only use some. Also I think it would be great if you showed how the same few ingredients can be used throughout the week for several receipts. Thank you! -Also some great sauces!

They have not got any stains yet! And they’re really easy to clean since the bottom is flat
I loved the science notes in this video, even tho I am not a fan of smoothies. Do you actually eat this much fiber/this many veggies in a day every day? If so, I’m super impressed! If your system is so used to this, do you get sick if you eat typical/processed American food?
Yes I usually do! Sometimes I’ll get really bloated after eating at a restaurant and the amount of salt usually makes me feel weird

ohhh should I get a vitamix? Or can a cheap one do just fine?
I think a vitamix is totally worth it because the motor lasts for years! I’ve had mine for almost 10 years already and it’s still going strong

Yes all the time! I make cookies and no bake balls and muffins!
I would suggest putting your ingredients (chia seeds, protein powder, cinnamon, etc.) that are not fruit and veggies into a spice jar instead , seems like the some of them won't come out of the bag as easy. You can make up several spice jars in advanced too.
I have to steam my kale first. Guess I can still freeze it . 🤷🏽♀️
If I was making these one portion per bag would I cut the recipe in half for each bag?
Yes you could definitely if you want a smaller portion! These made about 32 oz each

I make it as one serving but it comes out to 32 oz so you could cut the recipe in half if you want a smaller portion!
