- Today I'm giving my pantry a complete makeover and reorganizing it to make it much more functional! I also make a 16 bean instant pot soup using ingredients I had to use up.
Orange oil cleaner concentrate - amzn.to/3wdsPlE
Real monkfruit no erythritol amzn.to/4aUdoy2
spicy cajun 16 bean soup
1 large onion diced
3-4 carrots peeled and chopped
4-5 celery ribs diced
1 sausage diced
1 lb dried 16 bean mix- soaked for atleast 3 hours or overnight
4 cups veg broth- I did half water half broth
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce (add in at the end so it doesnt burn)
seasonings- (measure with your heart)
mrs dash garlic herb
chipotle powder
chili powder
garlic powder
cajun seasoning
caribbean jerk mcormick seasoning
pressure cook 25 mins with natural release for another 20 mins, add in the tomato sauce and pressure cook for 1 more minute. I let the pressure release naturally again for another 15 ish minutes

Yaaaay thank you so much!! 🥰
Me toooo 😊
I do think the beans will still be okay!
One of the better vegan cooks out there
Best surprise ever
Thank you for sharing a real-life pantry organization. If the beans come with a season packet, that is what has most likely expired, not the beans.
My goal is to create a list of everything I have, maintain it & ‘shop’ from my list. “Baking powder? My list shows it’s in Bin A4”…and it would be there. 😂😂in a perfect world
I love your weekly vlogs. I look forward to it every Sunday
The Tetris force is strong with this one 😎
This was so satisfying to watch ! I have a pantry cupboard that scares the crap out of me and it needs to be cleaned out desperately. I absolutely want to see a video of you tackling the spices ! Let’s goooo!!
I love watching your cooking for plant base. Get soooo many new ways. Keep them coming❤❤❤
I love a good panry organization. I organize the pantry frequently. I've had a few v nice homes, but have never had a walk-in pantry. I would love a walk-in with base cabinets to store big appliances. I have ample counter space but I don't like anything on the counters. Keep posting! Maybe do a video on your ravioli, use your heart shaped cutter. 💟
Thank you so much for sharing. I so enjoy your vids. I am 70 years and you so remind me of me at your age. Back then I was a single mom with a son I had to literally cook everything from scratch because of his allergies and sensitivities to certain foods. We didn't eat plant based then, but were vegetarians. We also lived in a small space and everything was a challenge, but I did enjoy cooking. Anyway thank you for all you do. Keep up the great work.😊❤😊
Great job organizing. I need to do same with my cupboards!!! Your spice drawer looks like mine. After watching you organize, makes me want to start on my kitchen. Mmmm, maybe I'll start tomorrow. God bless you from grandma Katie in Oregon. I really like all your videos. I've been making some of your food you taught me to make- thanks😊😊
Awww thank so much for your comment grandma Katie 🥰🫶🏻 I’m so happy to hear that!
The pantry looks so nice! i need to do this! Yes, I would eat the beans. I don't think dry beans really go bad. They probably just need to be cooked longer....I would love to see the spice drawer clean out! Thanks for the video, Chanty! 💕
I would def add labels especially for the top baskets. I feel like I’d forget what’s there. Love your videos!
Oh that’s so smart! I want to buy a label maker for my spices too
@@Chantymarie masking tape and a sharpie are great in a pinch 😌
@@Chantymarie hand made ones are honestly so much better. You can change them up quickly too as your storage changes
You’re one of a few vloggers that I watch anymore and I think it’s due to your authenticity! The best!✨🧡
Aww thank you so much!!
I agree completely!
So happy to see you have surpassed 100k subbies! Love your videos!
This was incredibly satisfying 🤩 you get the best angles/shots!
Omg I’m so glad you think so!
Pantry looks soo good!! Yess to the spice draw video. I've eaten expired beans 😅 I'm still alive and well 😂😂
Thank you for your videos. I have a suggestion: label your shelves with the types of foods in the baskets (ie; baking supplies, beans and lentils, etc) because they are deep with baskets hiding in the back. It can be pretty annoying to take baskets out all the time because you don't remember if what you need is actually at the back of the shelf (and which shelf?). I would even label the all of the baskets since it they are a bit tall and knowing what's in them without having to pull them out could be helpful.
Whenever I have bread or expired, nuts or dried fruit that is clearly gone off, I take it with me and dump it in a large parking lot so all the birds can enjoy it
Very nicely done! So satisfying, isn't it. We live in an 800 sqft home so I completely understand the storage dilemma. Can you hang a couple spice racks to free up that drawer? Also you might like a canning funnel to help transferring things into jars like the ground coffee. Thank you for your videos. Always enjoy your ideas and recipes. Best regards.
beautiful! I love good decluttering from time to time, it is super tiring but satisfying :) good job. Ps. Omg I can't wait for the spice organisation!!!!!!!!
Love this! I think I need to use baskets in my pantry!
Glad you used the beans. There are so many things that have “best by” dates that don’t actually go “bad”. I just made some pasta sauce with some canned tomatoes that were past their best by dates. It was delicious!
I Love watching your videos of course we want to see you organize the spices...love when you take us grocery shopping and to the farmers market 😁😊
Will do chanty. Remind about the raisins. I could use some thanks hahaha.
You did an awesome job! I love using baskets when you have deeper shelves.
You could buy a stock cabinet from Home Depot or Lowe’s and install it where that little picture is on the wall next to the fridge
Yaaaaaay a video!!!
Nice job! Cant wait for the spice drawer!
Thank you for keeping it real world. My pantry is about same size as yours. Im so glad you came up in my feed. Now I have an idea of what to do with mine. Im subscribing too!😊
Thank you for subscribing! 🥰🥰
So, I was also excited when I found pure monk fruit extract but you’re right, it’s kinda bitter and it changes the taste of anything you put it in, sadly.
The beans are good after expiration. They will take a bit longer to cook but they’re still good.
Tip, maybe - you could buy narrower longer bins so they go all the way in, sort of like a drawer so you wouldn’t have anything way in the back without being able to see it. So when you pull the bin out, everything in that row would be in the bin and not hiding in the back 😊 Love your videos! Love your authenticity 🫶🏼
Oof that spice drawer is gonna feel so good too organize! 🎉
I would totally cook the beans. Just to see you know. I hate throwing out food.
I have lately taken to having a clear shelf that I put stuff I need to use up. Sort of like a permanent pantry challenge shelf. Maybe one of your pantry boxes could be used to pull stuff that is needs to be used to the front so you see it.
That’s a great idea!
Loved this. Could you share more about the orange cleaner you mentioned? 😊
Thank you! I use this green goblin brand from Amazon amzn.to/3wdsPlE it’s expensive but it will last me a whole year since it’s a concentrate
I love it when you post…soup looks great and would love to see a video on your spice drawer being done
Hi there. Thanks for a wonderful video, it was really inspiring 😊
I would definitely cook the ‘out of date’ beans because as you said, there’s no fat to go rancid, and also they’re sealed.
I’ve noticed I just had to soak some elderly beans for 24 hours and then cook them for longer. I’ve only had a problem if I left cooked beans in the fridge for more than 2 days. They do taste OK, but give gut pain like any protein does when starting to get bacteria 😢
I keep all nuts and seeds in my fridge because they go rancid if I keep them in a cupboard. I live alone and have a small appetite and things don’t get eaten so quickly.
Many years ago, I decided to have a single freezer and single fridge under the counter, plus a large fridge freezer. I’ve found that only has enough room to store all the veggies I buy each week and all the nuts, seeds, fruits etc, even though it’s only me!
I have to cook from scratch each meal cos of allergies but I’d love a pantry too! Hope you get it one day. Bless you and thanks again - your videos are my favourite! X
Thank you so much 💗💗
I had no idea you hit 100K!! Congrats (:
Thank you!! ☺️☺️☺️
You've inspired me to get going on my own pantry. Nice job!!
You did an amazing job, looks great! I'd love to see the spice drawer organization!
hey Chanty Marie, it turned out really great and so functional! I would have cooked the beans too, what could go bad? I would also add basket labels, aesthetic and practical, so that you and others who use the kitchen know where what is. Or where the shopping needs to be put away. Greetings from Germany 👋🏻
Love field roast sausages! Your video has inspired me to organize my pantry now 😄
Yay I’m so glad! 😁😁
Girl. I had the same problem. I hated having to really reach to get to things in the back. This is what I did. I went to Habitat for Humanity. They have lots of drawers from kitchens that have had a facelift. I measured the depth and width of the opening in my pantry and bought these drawers. A lot of them even came with slide attached. I removed the face of the drawer in it fit perfectly. The drawers only cost me $2.00 each. If the drawers were missing the slide, they even carry lots of used sets for super cheap. I wish I could send you a pic so you can see what I mean.
Woah that is amazing!!
The food in zippy bags i put into recycled jars and/or mason jars mainly because the zippy bags are a total pain to close. I also have the lid sealer for mason jars which really helps make food last a lot longer. Also easier to see what you have and when little bits need to be used up.
Keep the beans. Chuck the seasoning packet inside.
I watched this video to get motivated. It worked.
I’m so glad!!
I use Classico sauce jars for all my dry goods. They are 24 ounces so they are just right for all the seed/nuts/dry fruit.
I love your videos a lot Chanty! 💕It feels like a therapy to me. And yes a spice rack organization video should definitely come! 🌸
i’m loving this cute little outfit! your hair also looks soooo good! 💞💞💞
Thank you so much!
Love it, wanna see the spice drawer vid!
Loved the video inspired me to get my own cleaned out.😊😊😘
I'm so glad!
Love this video!! My spice cupboard is such a huge mess. Would love to see you come up with some creative ways to store spices for easy access.
That reminds me about my bag of 16 beans in the pantry. Thanks
Looks great! Suggestion use a label maker😊
Great suggestion!
Agreed that you are the best!!! Love the video!
Yes to the spice drawer please. x
I had a cabinet system similar to yours… One thing I did was lower the shelf closest to the bottom - - - So, I was able to make a little more room between the upper shelves, while still having the lowest shelf have ample room for taller items such as for taller bottles of vinegar…. I also labeled the front of my darker baskets to remember what each contained (i.e. beans, baking, pasta, , coffee/tea, and nuts/dried fruit) without having to pull them out. . . . This also helped my boyfriend on days he wanted to cook up something - - - To make finding things easier for him.
Happy to see a new video! 😊
Thank you for watching!!
The “seasonings (measure with your heart)” in the Description cracked me up 🤣 so true
😂😂 I rarely measure anything
I thought you might be at my house with those dates 😂
Great job on your pantry reorg! Super impressive that you even have one, given that your house is 500 sq ft. Your 16 bean soup sounds amazing. I should make it with some expired 16 bean mix in my pantry.... Yes, do a video on your spice drawer!
looks great! Just need to label so you know what’s in the basket ❤
Yes I want to see you organise your spices :)
Ok! It will be fun!
Good job, looks great!
Everything that has an expiration date does not mean it’s bad or no good just because that date has come and gone.
Your pantry and soup look great! 🤩 I desperately need to organize mine and I have a feeling I have a bag of bean soup mix lurking in there somewhere….🧐😅 Thank you for the meal idea and for the inspiration! ☺️
I think the sausage is Field Roast brand. I use it in sauerkraut soup and stuffing. I don't decant. If it all doesn't fit in the container, then you have to store the extra somewhere else. I love baskets or bin for organizing, too. Pretty much the same categories, too. I use refrigerator bins in the fridge, too. I get the 14 inch ones because there's no wasted space. So handy to pull out like a drawer. Glad to see you went ahead and cooked the beans. I think they can just take longer to cook if old. Believe me, I've found stuff that was over 8 years past best by!
Sauerkraut soup! That sounds amazing
Double like!
raw nuts always stored in freezer here - keeps them fresh :)
❤ your genuine vibes!!!! Learn quite a bit from your content ❤
Great job!!
Thank you!
Use-by dates don't mean the food is bad. Nuts and seeds, yeah, they can get rancid. But your dry beans should be okay. Just use the soaking method before cooking to try to get the best out of them.
Hummingbird nectar. 1/4 cup regular cane/granulated sugar, 1 cup water. Mix until the sugar is fully dissolved. That's all you need for the hummingbird feeders. Please do not put anything else in them! Also, regularly clean the feeder so black mold doesn't grow on the feeder. This can kill hummingbirds quickly.
I tried organizing my pantry lately but I didn't take everything completely out. so it just got messed up again. I need to get some baskets like you did and just remove everything and go through it more thoroughly. thanks for the inspiration!
Suggestion: u could move the nutritional yeast to a mason jar , those bags just take up so much room and just put a piece of tape on the bottom and write the expiry
Hi Chanty! I love it when you post! Thanks for making all your videos, the food is spectacular!😊
Could you link your orange oil for cleaning? ❤Also, would like to see what you do with your spice drawer.
Thank you so much! 💗
I use this green goblin orange oil concentrate amzn.to/3wdsPlE
Thank you! Will get one.
🎉🎉🎉
I put all of my nuts, fruits and flours in jars. Just use 16oz for those smaller amounts.I dont ever refrigerate my almond butter or nuts
Put that nooch in a jar. So easy to pour and see
I was thinking of doing that!
Chanty,
From your previous video when you were meal prepping for you and Collin.
Do you remembered where you got the aluminum meal prep containers that you put the Buffalo cauliflower Mac and cheese in?
Can you please leave a link for me?
Chanty do you use the container ur vitamin came with to grind your coffee. Or did you buy the dry container?
What container do you mean?! I didn’t get a coffee grinder with mine but now I want one!?
Chanty those are NOT expiry dates! Those are "best before" dates. Don't throw it away. With some products the manufacturer won't guarantee it will still be optimum. The BB date is a guide to food quality or effectiveness, rather than food safety. Best before dates are "Guidelines", not rules. They want you to buy 'new' ones or 'fresh' ones. Btw, your soup looked delicious and I know how great it feels to have the pantry all organized.
I'm surprised that she needed to clean her cupboard. She eats cleaner than me and I have more in my refrigerator.
Keep the beans. They last for years.
What’s the type of orange oil that you use for your cleaner?
I use this one! amzn.to/3wdsPlE
@@Chantymarie thanks!!
My pantry is impossible- it’s one cupboard in the corner of our kitchen. So the middle goes back deep and the sides are more narrow. The only way to manage items is to put them in loose so I can see everything, it’s annoying.
Very interesting very informative very good video of a very special very talented very beautiful God's given brilliant woman. You are a very special very precious stunningly beautiful wonder woman and I'm so impressed by your wonderful God-given extraordinary personality. Your all recipes and cooking skills are outstanding. Chanty,
Great job with the pantry organizing.
Also, congratulations on hitting the 100k subscribers on your channel.
By any chance do you have a P.O. Box address.
Jesus.
Name.
check pronunciation of miscellaneous. It's not pronounced "mishellaneous"
Oopsie 🙈🙈
Still have not done that 🩷 ravioli cutters get bought and never get used 😂
I think I would still have a hard time with containers I can’t see through. I end up buying doubles and triples, especially because I’m too lazy to pull out the container to see what’s in them. 🫤
