Good review After one year ownership of your model Y with thoughtful advice on mistakes you made that may be avoided by people who watch your video. Thank you, Stevie
Long story short. He cheaped out and regret it. Talks nothing about the car
Exactly.
Thanks for saving me time.. another one for “dont recommend again”
Just purchased the Model Y Performance. Love the looks, ride, Red Color. The car came with Michelin "All Weather" Performance Tires. The tires are rated at 40,000 miles. Not worried about wearing them out before 30,000 miles. Also, the lesser range vs. the long range is not a worry. There is now a Tesla Wall Mounted Charger now mounted in the garage for charging when needed, + we have solar power. Love the "new" Tesla. 😊
I live in snow country on a steep road. I also use my car to go skiing every week. The 21" wheels and performance tires wouldn't make it up my street in a snow storm. I am aware you can buy winter wheels and tires, but it's a major hassle to swap them out and store which ever set you aren't using. Also, you lose a little clearance with the Performance model.
These are the reasons I went with the Long Range model with 19" wheels. It actually works great in snow and is plenty fast.
Big wheels = worse ride more expensive tires more often. Performance suspension & breaks way overkill for 95% of drivers. I purchased Long range with performance $2K upgrade with my choice custom black 19” wheels. Sold stock wheels to pay for new wheels. No loss of range or ride still plenty of speed. 2 years 57K miles Blue white interior ❤️
But P version looks better and have better performance
Should have gone with P and then switch out the uberturbines to gemini wheels, a lot cheaper way to go
So you switched 19s with 20s?
How much you sold your stock wheels , Geminis ?
Sounds good. I just bought a 2022 YLR that has performance boost, FSD, 22K miles, for $45,200.00.
The 21" wheels are heavier, but the range difference is caused almost entirely by the performance tires. Also the Performance Y has larger rear tires so you can't rotate them.
I purchased a 2020 model 3LR back in October from Tesla’s used inventory. Looked for one with low mileage and trims I wanted. Paid 49k and couldn’t be happier. Tesla threw in acceleration boost, FSD beta and upgraded charge pad for phone. Got the red with 19” wheels.
Mileage is meaningless...since bearings are easy to replace. Or do you think an electric motor ages that fast? 🤣🤣🤣
@@googleisnotyourfather-zt9qt Maybe not worth worrying about too much but no meaningless. Battery life being the biggest factor. Battery degrades with discharged and recharges and mileage gives you an estimate of use. Same for any wear parts: tires, brakes, paint, etc. All part of the equation
Robert, listening to you, I changed and switched to the performance. I don’t want to regret anything. Thank you, bro. Hopefully it will not takes longer for delivery
You’re gonna love it! I think you made the right move
@@RobertRosenfeld1 MYLR is probably the best deal in terms of what you get so I wouldn't keep having regrets - you made a great choice! It has more range than SR/MYP and better comfort than MYP due to higher suspension.
The MYP is actually 0-60 in 3.8s (Tesla inflates MYP number by subtracting rollout) whereas the MYLR is 0-60 in 4.8s. If you get MYLR and purchase Acceleration Boost, then it's 0-60 in 4.2-4.3s which is only 0.4-0.5s slower than MYP. If you buy MYLR and do your own proper research, you can buy efficient black wheel covers that are designed exactly like the Überturbine wheel covers. You can even buy after-market Performance break/accelerator pedal covers and install them on your MYLR (as well as a bunch of other things). If you're super crazy about the looks of MYP, you can even purchase the Carbon Fiber spoiler from Tesla or somewhere else and install it on your MYLR.
IMO, the best thing to do is buy default free configs for the MYLR (white exterior, black interior, 19 inch wheels, etc). If you want your car to be faster, purchase acceleration boost. If you want more of a MYP look, then purchase/install good black wheel covers, the Performance pedal covers, and the black Carbon Fiber spoiler. That's probably the cheapest and best deal for what you get.
Only thing sucks on MYP is short range in winter months and the staggered wheels set up - expensive limited tires.
I traded a 2020 LR AWD on a 2022 MYP, but replaced the 21" UT with some 18s from TSportLine, so I recovered most of the range, its actually FASTER, rides better, I can rotate the tires and they are cheaper than even the 19s. And I no longer fear potholes and curbs.
Great info. QQ: where can we find the footage at 9:22 ? Are they available for usage for other tesla videos ? Please let me know.
I've driven the Long range and the Performance. Yes, the Performance is faster but to me, it felt like exactly the same car to drive. I personally went for the long range cause I just didn't think the difference was worth the extra money. Currently, here in the UK, the Performance is a lot more expensive
I just rewatched the video and I'm still not sure what the 5 mistakes are. Usually, your videos are a little more organized. You wished you'd bought the Performance rather than the Long Range (1). You bought too many accessories (2. but you don't mention what they are). You wish you had applied PPF earlier (3). You wish you had delayed your purchase a couple of months to get a few more features (4).
Of those, I disagree with all of them except #3. You don't have to drive on California highways to pick up a bunch of scratches on the front end. I live in Ohio, bought my Model Y in August of 2020 and noticed the scratches after 6-12 months. One thing that hasn't been publicized much is how thin Tesla's paint is. YOU NEED TO APPLY PPF SOON AFTER YOUR PURCHASE. And I'm not a car afficionado. I just wanted an American-made, low-maintenance, nice looking car that could quickly accelerate to interstate speeds and didn't directly burn carbon to do it.
I'm satisfied with the Long Range model. I've got a daughter that lives in Washington, DC and a son that lives in Madison, WI. I'd recommend that anyone who makes trips longer than 200 miles at least once per year (especially if you occasionally have to do it in cold weather), to buy all the range you can afford. There are always going to be new Tesla developments and Tesla price changes. Do your best to identify any major opportunities and then buy the car and get on with life.
I don't know what accessories you bought, but I'm satisfied with the one's I purchased. I got improved floor mats to do a better job collecting dirt and gravel from shoes. I got a center console organizer because Tesla provided nothing. I bought brighter LED lights because the standard lights are pretty weak at night. I also bought the hitch attachment because I do a lot of bike riding. I still may buy a mat for the back storage area to catch leakage from mulch bags.
I've got about 18,000 miles on mine and plan to put many more on it. Hope you enjoy yours for many years to come.
Still got my 2019 Model 3 Performance, white interior, XPEL Ultimate full frontal wrap as well as wrapped the piano black interior console with that stuff so it can’t scratch or scuff. Also have FSD ($5000 back then). Love it! Car is a freakin missile. Just crazy. And the Michelin 4S stock tires it got are the absolute best. Will keep this thing for a while … have a cyber on order. Let’s see what happens.
Lol- thanks for validating my decision to get a MYP 😂
When the prices dropped, I’m pretty sure it was the cheapest it had ever been. So I’ve been patting myself on the back for the good timing. Hopefully I won’t be regretting that decision when March 1st rolls around!
lol happy to help!
Same here just ordered mine 3 weeks ago! 56,990!! Wooo!! MYP is the best
M Y Performance also has staggered wheels. So having tire tread even longevity after x miles will decrease, since a rotation from left to right is minimal in equaling the meat of all tires over time. If all tires were equal, moving rear to front and vice versa makes the meat of the tires more even. Also alternatively with M Y Long Range AWD: Left rear goes to right front. Right rear goes to the left front. The right front goes to left rear. Left front goes to the right rear. Again more options to even out tire meat usage on a rotation with an AWD Long Range. End of the day, tire wear will last longer as long as you keep up the rotations every 7K-8K miles. Finally another point is that you also lose the 7 seater option which gives the Long Range AWD flexibility for long road trips with friends and you have a bumpier ride since Performance has sport suspensions (At least from what I'm reading from new customer test drives on both). Reading on forums from customers who've test drove both says they can feel every crack and bump on the road on a 23 Performance model and driving a 23 Long Range feels like driving on a cloud. So it looks like all 23 Long Range Ys have the new comfort suspensions based on what I'm reading. IMO.
Robert, Can you comment on the DIY PPF? I'm taking delivery of a '24 MYLR next week. How hard was it to DIY, any tips?
Couple things to chime in. $51,990 is standard range AWD model and the range is NOT the only thing that’s different. $51,990 AWD has unibody gigacasting and structural battery that gives the car reduced cabin noise and firmer, more buttoned down ride quality than Long Range. Now I do agree that if you are on the fence between LR and P, just go with P. Because when it’s time to change the tires on P, its actually cheaper to get second-hand 19” gemini wheels, tires, TPMS than tires on the uberturbine wheels. If you are okay with the looks, you get the best of both worlds: same mileage as Long Range, but same acceleration as P. DO NOT get the acceleration, that’s a waste of money, just get yourself the P
Thx 4 the vid, my biggest prob w/21’s is this town is full O potholes (omg) so much that I had 2 spend my 1st $900 stimulus check on fixing my Limited Elantra because it has low profile tires vs these dang potholes:( it tore up my front end, plus alignment plus new tires, not a happy camper, sooo if I get a Tesla M3LR (hope) I need 18” wheels n tires, just compare how much more it cost to fiix with those beautiful 21’s…peace
I bought the 2023 Model Y long range in February, and things that were not apparent when I made the purchase were: (1) that Tesla pricing fluctuate so much; (2) that the "needed" accessories cost a lot; (3) that certain bugs have yet to be solved by Tesla such as phantom braking; (4) that certain States and locales are outright anti-EV, and show it by discouraging EV charging stations ; yet, are enthusiastic when it comes to EV's being revenue sources.
About the 20” wheels, you should also mention it reduces ride comfort as the tires are lower profile.
Totally paid 60.9k out the door in IL for our Y P definitely worth it. Our MYLR spec'd out w upgraded (20") wheels was 58.9k w tax out the door.
How’s the ride comfort and cabin noise?
Suspension is much harsher on performance model.
I have m3p and wish i had bought on long range 😅
Hi Robert, I had a question. I am looking to purchase a 2021 model Y long range from Tesla's used inventory. However, I noticed that some say 'all wheel drive and others say 'all wheel drive dual motor'. Is this the same Y and Tesla is trying to do some marketing tricks and leaving out the 'dual motor' on some of the ads or does Tesla actually have a 2021 Y single motor and one with a dual motor? Thank you for your quick response. 🎉
All AWD’s are dual motor. Just different wording.
Man you guys have it good in the states. The difference between the Standard to the long range is an extra $8600usd over here in Australia, the same difference between the long range and the performance
That’s considering exchange rate?
@@blueplanet1048 yep thats at exchange rate at the time of post. Its $13000 difference in Australian dollars
@@dannytuomo wow that's a lot! But if you drive long distance more often I'd still go for the long range. If not standard should be fine
Seems like you're generally happy. I think I'll get the cheaper model. We have a regular Mazda CX5 for road trips so charging range isn't an issue
i regret that also for my model 3 long range..i wished i got a performance...everytime i see one on the road i think to myself that could be me!
I ordered a MYLR with 19in knowing it was back ordered a couple months may-June to lock in the price. When the official announcement is announced I plan on changing my order to MYP so that I get HW 4.
I really thought about the long range, then it came to me; how many times a year do I go on a longbutt road trips? And the answer is once or twice, so I bought the performance. The best thing about the performance model that I love the most is the prude force available immediately, I mean immediately, like right now. Even if you’re not trying to show off, it’ll just take off at every stoplight, even if you don’t mean it. So anyone buying a model Y get the performance package you won’t be disappointed.
@@UserNameTakenDownI checked used shop, 200$ per tire 95% thread that cost 528 new😢
@@UserNameTakenDown it’s been more than a year and still on the same OEM Michelin tires
Heard the 23 MYP has the same suspension or nearly same ride quality as of the 23 LR... Anyone know anything about this?
When I ordered my long range on December 14 of 2020, in New Jersey they had a $5000 incentive if you kept the price below $55,000.
With the red paint and the black wheels and white interior I was at 54,990
So I got the $5000 incentive from New Jersey
New Jersey also has no sales tax as well
If I bought a Gasoline Car that was $55,000 I would have paid $3400 in sales tax
Because I bought the Tesla I did not pay that
For me to upgrade to the performance model taking into account all the incentives that I received it would have cost me an additional $13,000 at that point in time and that’s why I did not do it
I’m very happy with my long range
I think if you were a person that wants to save another $3000 then you’re not going to buy red paint or pay for $2000 wheel upgrades
When I bought the long range, the performance model was not $4000 more
It was I believe $8000 more
I bought the MYP. Go hard or go home so I wouldn’t keep contemplating like you do 😂
Did anyone notice in the video of the blue Model Y at 8:43 it has completely different rims? What rims are these? I’m on my third model Y and never seen these rims.
How can I find out what HW I will have on my MY
I tested drove it, and it was amazing!!! I felt down when I jumped back into my toyota camry.i am getting one next year!!!! I can't wait!!!! The white interior and all the open space, it is, in my opinion, the best-looking design out there.Go test drive one now and make your own decision piriod there awsome!!!!!
Robert, if you're really wanting the 21" Uberturbines, I have a brand new set of wheels/tires I took off my 22 MYP last June with about 200 miles on them. Perfect condition. Now's your chance:)
i might be interested:) Dm me...
Im planning on trading or selling the 21 inch for the 20 inch if anyone is interested
@@keithhere5868 Sorry, I haven't located any way to DM you. Please enlighten me. I'm not a heavy UA-cam user.
I have the same configuration purchased on 1/13/23 (except no red paint). I did get the discount, FED tax credit + CVRP. I too did wish I had opted for the Performance version, but at that time I needed to be under the 55K cap (of course, they moved the cap to 80K the day after I had taken delivery). All that being said, I'm still very happy with how it turned out (btw, I have a 2021 M3SR+ too). * One thing to remember is with the 21" wheels this is a staggered setup. Therefore, tire rotation is affected.
21? Geez! Cool though. How much does it affect the range?
Why can't I add the 3rd row to the Performance model?
Happy with the interior choice? Any regrets not going white?
Why run out and buy the first release when you can allow some time for the new model to have its bugs worked out?
Ignore this guy’s advice. The base Model Y uses LFP batteries, so there’s far less chance of your Tesla burning your house down compared to the long range or performance models which use Lithium Ion batteries. And FSD doesn’t work great, it is not worth $10 a month, let alone $200 a month.
I’m looking at a new Model Y and keep going back and forth on the LR or Performance. I currently drive a 21 M3 with performance boost and it’s pretty quick. Thanks for the push 😊 I’m leaning toward the performance but will defiantly wait for the refresh + hardware 4.
If you've ever test driven a dual motor long range, you quickly realize it's more than fast enough. Plus , he makes it sound like the 20" wheels are only available on the Performance model.
The instant torque and acceleration at hand that is step up from Long Range is well worth the upgrade
@@chunglee352 Yes, but again depends on how much instant torque is good enough for the person. Also keep in mind Tesla sells a software upgrade to give the long range a little more acceleration than it already has.
If you’re driving a luxury performance car right now I would recommend not getting any Tesla as you’ll be disappointed very quickly and would be selling the Tesla within months for a huge loss as no dealers are ready to buy any Tesla as their values are dropping like a rock! Check with multiple dealers in your area and see their thoughts on buying a used Tesla. Nobody wants them in real world ! All this hype is made by these UA-camrs only for their own personal gains.
@@abyp.5046 If you're basing the value drop on BEFORE January 2023, you are only seeing the big value drop because of the Tesla dropping the price of new Teslas after that. Those who bought one AFTER the price drop in January won't see the same loss of value. Teslas don't lose value any more than other EV brands.
Performance and LR both have the same brake calipers. Performance just has 2mm thicker brake disks and red paint.
2022 LR MY, white with black interior, tow hitch. 18 inch wheels from Megajoul/ Martian/ T-Sport line. 255/50/R18 tires are about $100 each for a premium tire. Ride quality is much much better. Range is at least 300 miles no matter what.
All the upgrades on the performance make the 4k difference a great deal.
Somehow, MYP is similar price as MYLR as of now. Please look at Telsa's inventory and some of MYP is high 48K (Midnight Silver Metallic Paint) which is more cheaper than some of MYLR with higher than 49K. For this reason, I went with MYP.
My must haves front PPF, mud guards on wheel wells, tint
The performance model is basically only worth it if you value speed and looks (subjective) over anything else. It has less range. It has a lot worse ride quality. All while costing more.
You and I clearly prioritize very differently :D
Haha very fair!
The performance models produced after October 2022 have much better suspension which is just as comfortable as LR
It does not actually have “a lot worse ride quality”. Have you driven both, I have and the ride is similar. You can easily change the wheels and tires on an MYP which will soften the ride. The range difference is negligible considering most EV drivers live between 20%-80% anyway so the small difference at the extremes ends up mostly meaningless. If you prefer the look and value performance, MYP all the way. If you just like the tech and want efficient transport, then save some $$ and get MYLR.
It’s easy, everyone has different preferences and use cases. There isn’t really a right or wrong.
There’s not much of a difference I’ve been in both Long range and performance , MYP is much better
@@Sunny-nz5bi Is that true? All the videos have bias like on youtube
is that San elijo Hills in San Marcos...? :D
Y Performance is awesome and it’s a steal at new price. It’s really fast and handles like a sports car. Suspension firm but comfortable. Not butter smooth but comfortable. I have an S and X with air suspension which are heavier and smoother but they Y P is what I prefer for daily driving. You feel the lightness in response to accelerating and turns.
The Standard Model Y has the most value of all their cars. Premium features, basic battery, great storage, sky roof, pro sound system… what else? I don’t drive a lot anymore so speed and distance don’t matter as much for me.
Which accessories do you use?
I did a while video on this! Check out my recent video!
@@RobertRosenfeld1 thanks
In 33 years driving I have bought 14 cars, for myself or to give away. Never one has pleased me entirely. When I get my hands on a tesla I know it will be the same. Problem is it's not a cell phone that you just chuck out when a new model comes along or it doesn't do what it's supposed to. The almost lack of service stations are giving me a bad feeling about a hardware that you are supposed to maintain yourself and fix where????
Waiting for HW4 to get MYLR. Bigger tires are thinner and blow out more often.
Bigger Rims or Bigger Tires?
Isn't that measurement the measure of the Rims?
Love that red color which is not available anymore in Europe. But we did get the quicksilver and cherry red, a darker red color. But the quicksilver is awesome color too. Buy gold and silver and I mean coins or bars, real gold and silver that is real, now thats value in the future, art is just for certain rich people, while gold and silver is something that is needed in the future for many many products! Its also currency that works in any country in the world!
As far as the AMD processor, it uses more energy than the Adam, and it only makes a noticeable difference in streaming and games...neither of which I care about while in the car .
Why not just pay for acceleration boost?
Are you in Irvine? I’m just curious
Yeah
I am not seeing a model Y with a range less than 330 miles on Tesla’s website currently. Am I missing something?
You’re not! Tesla is currently selling them “off menu” in existing inventory. You can find it there labeled as model y AWD
@@RobertRosenfeld1 ah, got it
Add 20” wheels and range drops to 318 miles, says so right there on the website, and 21” wheels and it drops even lower.
I bought the performance and nothing but smiles every time I get that “Need for Speed “😂
I have PPF on my model 3, I would opt to just get PPF on the front end and the lights and thats it. Thinking of trading in my 2023 model 3 for a 2024 model Y LR with tow pkg to tow our little popup camper.
Just ordered mine, says June-July. Let’s see how it goes
$5 for a dozen eggs… inflation sure has gone crazy
3/4 of this guy videos are adds
FSD drives most my miles A to B. I don’t want to steer, brake, signal, lane change when FSD does it so smoothly and safely.
I would get FSD long range base wheels, color, interior vs Y P without FSD. Imho
I think the performance model has 21 inch wheels with summer performance tires, For cold areas that pretty much means buying another set of tires in the first year,
Mine came with all season tires.
So a performance car to do max 65 on a highway or outrun the cops to the nearest supercharger. A heavy car with a small battery would also be a pain cause in winter you cry in the morning when it shows you the miserable range that can hardly get you to mcdees
Maybe I'm in a minority but I don't give a you know what about the look of wheels. Plus I think 21 inch wheels would give a worse ride than the standard one. Plus you can't see them when you are in the car anyway.
And how often will the faster 0-60 really be used? The LR at 4.5 seconds will beat 99% of cars you'll draw up against at the lights.
My choice should I get one will be between SR and LR. Test drive tomorrow though I won't buy until end this year when hopefully HW4 more cameras and 360 view will be here. And so will my money !
My thoughts exactly. I’ll take the longer range and if I really want I’ll buy the 2k acceleration boost.
Agree. Actually, I find the rwd standard M3 to be fun and it's acceleration beats any other EV at the price. LFP batteries offer greater durability. Won't 360 view be a software update, and is there a risk of price increase by end of year? Also, I'm 65 and waiting 9 months is probably 5% of my remaining time to appreciate fun cars, & I don't want to wait.
@@chrishyde1216 most say 360 needs more cameras.
@@Joe-lb8qn Good point. I've slightly tweaked my post, to add that in my case there is a price to waiting. At 65 I have to balance the benefits of waiting for future improvements against the opportunity to have fun sooner rather than later.
@@chrishyde1216 true. I'm older than you and am currently on various scuba dive vacations since they also have an expiry date regards age I think
There is a big difference you fail to mention between rear wheel drive and all wheel drive: the difference in charging speed between these models
In the UK the Long range is £8,000 ($10k) more that the RWD.
Always go with lowest or highest model. Never middle. NEVER MIDDLE!!!
The 2023 long range has better Suspention that the performance
I want a MYP with 400 mile range, charges 10 -->80% in 5 minutes and cost $39,000.
In 2026 maybe
So you didn’t want to pay and now you regret it. My mom always say, if you aren’t in love with it, don’t get it! If you can’t afford it, work smarter
So you bought the car a year ago for $64,400.00 and it's now $13,000.00 cheaper, so what's the resale value of your car today? I wouldn't be at all happy to lose in excess of $13,000.00 over a single year of ownership. I've not heard of such a level of depreciation on a vehicle before.
I have a Gray M3P on order and hoping for a VIN # in the next week or two so I can insure the $7500 Tax incentive. I bought the Tesla All Weather Floor Liners and got them today. I also ordered the TEMAI Glass Roof Sunshades and got them today. I also got my Tesla Wall Charger and getting it installed. That’s a good start.
Does anyone own an EV and live in an apartment? If so, how is that going? How many days can you go between going to a charge point? Many thanks.
I did a whole video on this a few years ago. Happy to give more detailed advice
@@RobertRosenfeld1 Thanks. Just wondering about battery problems if I only charge every few days and how to get over the air updates. I appreciate the work you put into your videos.
Thanks! You won’t run into any battery problems not charging consistently, the biggest thing I found was that it was just tough to always be finding a place to charge. If there is somewhere you go weekly with a charger available, that will make things way easier. As for updates, I would just use my phone’s hotspot feature to download updates while I drove. The car will usually tell you when an update is available so once I saw that I’d hotspot my phone and the download would start. Would usually take 30 min or so to download.
after 40 sec, i am thinking: Can you trust somone who parks a car like that? :P
I decided to trade in my 2021 Model 3 LR for a 2022 Model Y Performance. Because I wanted a Y from Berlin rather than Shanghai. And I got a car with the USS sensor, I think I was lucky.
What a dork! This guy seems like the perfect Tesla owner. I, for a brief second, considered this car, but I’ve decided it’s just a poor product. Look no further than the gimmicky crappy door handles, poor build quality, lack of physical buttons, and battery replacement costs.
Double-pane rear glass?? 2022 LR M3. The friends are double-glazed but not the rear doors
My friends complained when i tried to double-glaze them. Seems yours are more amenable ?
@@Joe-lb8qn sorry autocorrect messed up my comment. What I meant to say was that I have a long-range 2022 model three. My front windows are double-glazed but the rear windows are not
Just picked up my 2023 MYLR. Gave a lot of thought about waiting on new model or going with performance. I ordered mine on Jan 20th and got the lowest price and upgraded to 20" rims. The tax refund pushed me into buying now. Can't throw away $7500 to wait for better cameras. Just not worth it. Didn't go with performance because of offset tires. Can't rotate them properly and I've read that they don't last long and are pricey. Plus ride quality suffers. Going to buy acceleration boost soon. Super happy with my car. I can't wait to drive it every day!
My tires on my MYP is about 20k miles and still going strong. Ride quality is slightly stiffer than long range. I’m willing to sacrifice that as well. Enjoy your peasant Long Range haha jk
7500 will still be there when HW4 comes out though.
I listened to only first part of this video and you ramble on too much. I am going with the Model Y Long Range and have no regrets. Now comes with Dark Metallic Silver as no added cost.
Went with Gemini 19 inch wheels/tires, and did not get anything else except for the mobile charge cable kit. Should get my car in a few weeks.
The standard range trim in 2023 costs only $46,990 now.
In Denmark MYP are cheaper than MYLR 🤣
Who makes enough money to afford this vehicle will staying under the income limit the IRS places on the EV tax credit?
I'm getting six miles less, on average, than long range y stated full charge of 330. About 324.
I’m still on the fence about PPF tho.. 🧐
Maybe, consider PPF for the front half and along the lower side crease to the rear wheel arch and have a top quality Ceramic on the rest. In addition to the front end chip protection, the whole car washes like a dream. Not cheep though. All good so but it has only been 8 months.
oops! I am a twit; CHEAP!
@@brendandonegan2150 Ok, I got a quotation from a detailer for front half work - $3k like wuuut 😳
Not sure why people spend so much money on a vehicle that is so crippled doing anything but city driving
Car payment and car insurance fucks a lot of people, we are all one medical bill or car accident from struggling :/, specially worse for those who rent.
Picking up my MYP this coming Sunday. Personally my only worry is I’m hoping I don’t regret the red. Sometimes seeing others on the road I think the red looks really dull.
Red is the way to go 💯
@@RobertRosenfeld1 hope so!
Figured I’d give an update. Red looks beautiful. Very satisfied 👍🏼
@@MikeOxlittel Very nice! Congrats on the new Tesla!
Just bought my wife the red model y long range , awd 20 inch rims. So pumped. Pick up Saturday !
Stopped with: 'I went with'
Bro masterworks can suck it . Id rather invest in real estate . It’s so simple . Art work can be destroyed but land can’t.
Dude please don’t use your high pitched voice. Your low pitched voice is ok. I hope you take it as a constructive criticism.
and ITS cheaper now and you get $7500 point of sale tax credit.
Fed just print $1m check for Avery American. Problem solved 😮
Let me summarize the video to save you some time.
Regret 1: Spent too much money on the car
Regret 2: Spent too little money
Regret 3: Spent too much money
Regert 4: Im debating on spending money on the boosted acceleration download
Regret 5: Spending 2k a month on FSD is better than spending 15k upfront
Regret 6: Spent too much money on accessories
Regret 7: I haven't spent money on pain protection and my car has scratches now ;-;
Regret 8: Buy now like i did, no need to wait for a week to get a model refresh
Why?
Wish I could of got lr model 3 or model y, but couldn’t do the payment for configuration I wanted. Black exterior white interior.
Overall though I love the model 3 rwd puts a smile on my face every time driving it. Hoping tesla vision gets fixed 2023 no sensors 😂. It’s like buying a cell phone. You buy now and next model comes out with different features.
I tried and considered the M3 rwd, M3 LR and MY rwd. I prefer the M3 rwd because of how it handles & rides, LFP batteries, efficiency and the price. Fast acceleration opportunities are limited on UK roads and I'd mostly focus on driving efficiently. MY's extra 2.8 inches width is a stability compromise from it's 7 inches extra height; M3 interior is the same width.
What is the BIG secret - is it the standard range awd MY? That's not available in the UK, where the standard range is rwd only.
The people making 6figs living check2check doesn’t say much about current costs of living, but more-so about just lifestyle inflation 😂 just a self-inflicted wound.
