    I'm a EE. I used to tinker around with microcontrollers to make things that helped around the house. Letting me know when the laundry is done, being able to turn off the light without having to get out of bed. But it's been like 10 years. When I saw the kid geared packs I was one of the people that thought it would be cool if there was one for older people. Can't wait to try it

    Mark is literally making ‘toys and action figures’ from his monthly ‘movie’ when you think about it. He makes something that replicates the videos his viewers watch, and offers the ability to have a piece of the video for your own. By buying a kit that demonstrates an lets you learn something new hands on. Genius. New Star Wars movie gets new Lego’s, new Mark Rober video gets new educational toy.

    Hello, Mark Rober. I am an engineer and computer scientist and I have been working with the US Government to develop these very defenses. I run a company which is developing a new version of the MQ-9 Reaper drone to combat mass drone attacks. I was understandably very surprised when I saw this video pop up and I am glad that the public is finally seeing the risk of these drones.

    • @sirsapphire3499
      @sirsapphire3499 9 місяців тому +21

      I totally agree, but I think part of the problem was also lack of ability. I do think that there was a period where the public lacked awareness of the dangers of drones, but I also think there was debatably a period where the public began catching on but didn't have the ability to do anything about it yet. Thankfully, it seems that period is coming to its end as well.

      AI is coding for you now so its very not wise to push people to learn to code actually and before you tell me AI need devs in order to work, yes for now but for one dev coding on AI it destroy thousands and thousands of job opportunities for other devs. We need less and less developers each days actually. Tomorrow AI will be feeding itself almost being autonomous. So well you guys should start to look for another profession cause we wont need you in a very near futur.

    Another method that worked really well was falconry. Trained raptors with propeller-proof Kevlar booties can outfly anything man-made, and take down drones without destroying them. Plus, since this is akin to natural hunting behavior, the birds tended to enjoy the work.
