You didn’t mention Jack pads Ryan. They should always be with the car so that nobody jacks it up accidentally without them. A must for the S, X, 3 or Y.
I'm surprised not many people are commenting about how well this video was produced. Every single point was enunciated and very well articulated. You are the Phillip Defranco of Car EV news; You curate EV content very well and provide informative points, and I'm loving all of it! Much love from NC
I love my 3D mats, which you suggested in your previous accessories video. When I go to the car wash, all I have to do is vacuum them and they're good to go. Worth all the money. I had a 100 lb dog in the trunk, and the seat back mats were great.
Few things, under seat storage cubbies, for, the Y are awesome. Also a tilt for the screen, and for sun glasses…a behind screen plastic mount with tissue holder is wwesomev

I'm not a fan of the magback. I bought one for my MYP and it's great at first but after a couple months the adhesive comes off. They sent me replacement adhesive and I remounted it, but it came loose again after about 2 months. It's just a PITA. Get the kind that mounts to the air vent; more durable, and locks in place and wont come loose
I ordered a 2023 Model 3 in September 2023 and when it arrived 17th February 2024, it presented with no stalks. After a few days I noticed the steering wheel buttons were not reliable, the sweet spot for each seemed to shift. Sometimes the buttons seized up completely. After a couple of weeks, Tesla checked the vehicle's data and confirmed the buttons were faulty. The steering wheel got replaced today and now the same problem is starting to happen again. I noticed in your video (when I could see you pressing the turn signal buttons), your thumb appeared to be pressing more than once, sometimes three times, before the indicator activated. See 4:50 - 3 times?, 13:50 2 or 3 times before the indicator activated, 25:30 button seemed to be pushed but no indicator, 26:30 you pushed the button really hard! This is what I've been experiencing and what I deem to be a very unsafe situation. Around 14:50 your buttons seemed to work first press and you said that the new buttons make for less hand muscle memory to a stalk lever but I say they require more muscle thumb pressing with no reliable memory when the sweet spot moves or is non-existent. There have been times when the buttons seemed to seize up completely on me. Many times impossible to use in fast tight turning situations such as indicating out of roundabouts (required by law in my state) or when parking or three-point-turns require use of indicating and gear shifting in fast occurring combinations. This Model Tesla is a beautiful car to drive but unfortunately it has caused me very ugly and worrying failures. I see failure of design over reliable function. For 10 years I wanted a Tesla and at age 63 finally I saved up for it. I didn't get the model I ordered which clearly showed stalks. But beyond that, I know when it's important to lift any bias I might have and highlight failures when I see them, especially when they may impact road safety to not only the driver but to others on the road as well.
Thanks for the reviews. I'm going to buy a Quick Bandit anyway, but it's disappointing that even when you spend $140, they don't give you stainless steel screws. See 4:53 in the video for visible corrosion (rust) on the hardware. Only good thing is that it's behind the plate.
@@MrEddyedr ok but I got other third party one which did the same job without the scraping noise and always touching the road on speed bumps. Do you like work for Tesla? Like did you design these oem mudflaps for Tesla?
an additional benefit of the solid state ssd vs the thumb drive is the ssd will manage nand wear levels, the thumb drive on the other hand might die prematurely.
Normally carrying bikes inside a car can work out well enough, but I don't know if I would recommend it. Much better to have a carrier that attaches outside the car.
Metal tire valve caps are a bad idea they corode and 2 different metals corroding can cause up told aggravation when you need to remove as a guy that trained tire fitters on behalf of a major tire company , i have seen many broken valves and caps that wont come off needing to be broken to get them off , Plastic is the best option they dont break when you take them off

I had one of the top name screen covers on my 3 and while I didn't like how it blurred everything slightly (it was the non glare version) I thought it was good to have. It was a real difficult install though. When I got my Model Y I bought a new one from the same company, one they touted as upgraded and nearly indestructible. This time I got the normal "glare"? version so it wouldn't blur, and literally a week after installing it I SLIGHTLY tapped it with the edge of my phone and the whole thing just cracked right down the middle. It was pretty silly really, and definitely shouldn't have been that brittle. Ever since that broke I've just left the screen naked. Those things are so hard to get on as getting every single last spec of dust out is nearly impossible.
They same company that makes the S3XY buttons makes a programmable smart knob with screen for the center console… way better than the buttons and a real game changer imo
What the point of SSD for video recordings if Teslas got only USB 2.0 ports? At least my Model 3 (2018), if I am correct. Samsung SSD is about $200, and Xiaomi 2TB USB 2.0 flash is around $20
Like the look of that arm rest cover. Mine has gotten pretty "oily" from skin oil that I've had zero luck getting out. Same with one spot on the door where I rest my arm :( I've never found anything that will clean these. EDIT: The arm rest cover you link doesn't look like the one shown in the video. It doesn't have the tesla name/logo on it

I shoved 5/16” polyethene tubing into the rear hatch seal through the small holes, and it made a huge difference in my 2023 MY. I found a reddit post on it somewhere and gave it a shot and although i accidentally ripped a couple holes in the seal, the booming noise is much quieter! Kinda nice in a sense. You are now able to truly configure your vehicle to your exact needs and wants without being subjected to a packaged upgrade or trim that may include things unnecessary for yourself. Not only that, but there are a variety of similar options for a same use case. Let's you choose what fits you best. I wish more vehicles actually came barebones but hopefully cheaper.
