I've been doing doordash for a few weeks now and I love it.Thank you for talking about the low acceptance rate. A lot of times I would end up taking those orders just because they would be threatening my acceptance rate. I really thought that that would affect me getting orders at all. I'm glad that it doesn't really make a difference. I'm in the Minneapolis area so there should be no problem getting orders.
There are tourist towns that are around, and during events they are awesome extra $ makers! If people have $ to travel..they have $ to tip! Also, remember to ALWAYS deliver the customers product(s) in a safe and timely manner! Keep the food warm, cold, etc. Good Luck & God Bless You All! **These are Top Dasher Recomendations and they work!** #KeepDash’n!
Good Morning I just started deliveries in California area My question is : Is there a curtain amount you can make per month ? Or year that will not be taxed at the end of the year ? Thank you Manny
Thanks for your helpful video. I'm thinking about signing up to drive for DoorDash. So do you just turn the App on (say you're Available), and then sit at home and WAIT to get an order? Or do you go drive around? Or, do you go park your car in the parking lot of a fast food place near your house and hope that somebody orders from that restaurant?
This question is different for every person and city. Maybe start by checking the Door Dash App to see what restaurants are around your home. If you have plenty close by, you could start with the app on and wait, if not, you may have to drive to a busy area and wait for orders.
I just did my first day as an Uber eats driver and am about to try out doordash as well, how much should I be setting aside to pay the quarterly taxes?
I did uber eats for 3 months last year, only weekends. Some days were good, and some not good. What I dislike about the app, is it doesn't tell you exactly where you are going, so I suffered a lot of miles on my car, and it didn't seem to pay off. I'm starting today to Door Dash. I hope it works out. I like picking a schedule, but I'm not sure how to log mileage. Some interesting info online, but it doesn't come out and tell you exactly how to.
so do you just deliver one order at a time? or do you gather several orders at once and deliver all of them? My full time business is a bit slow right now so I was curious about doing this on the weekends. One of my concerns is getting a delivery from someone I know (I'de want it to be a secret) but I think you can see the customer names prior to accepting the order?
Good question, I would love for someone to show us what the app looks like while it's being used. If you can do it without showing personal info of course.
If your area is booked with drivers and your on a waiting list..how do you dash in another town close by while your waiting for a spot to open in your town?🤔
The app will tell you which areas are busy or need Dashers and you can head over to that area. You can even use the "Dash along the way" feature to get orders going in your direction.
😭😭😂😂 same thing happened to me, I got texted yesterday that I was off the waitlist temporarily, so I finished applying and finally got in after 3 months on waitlist lol

You should refuse orders as you are an independent contractor. You're not an employee of DD.
Today was my first day as a Dasher, and not bad at all

They only need a finger scan to make sure who you are. DON'T DO FACE SCAN!
Omg! Thank YOU !!! I am inquiring about it now. Thank You
Very good advice
Thankyou
Thank you for the tips!
I appreciate the acceptance rate information
It appears the more low pay orders you take, the more bad orders they send you.
Haven’t driven since March 2020 for lyft & Uber.
Considering food delivery.
I couldn't dash today because I won't give them my face scan.
great basic info

Watch out door dash steal your money of previous day
Sounds like a struggle. Has anyone actually made good money doing this?
Nobody since the “pandemic” ended and everyone stopped working from home and collecting free money
My area is overly saturated with doordash drivers. I cant apply...thanks illegals
