DoorDash OR Instacart: Which do YOU prefer? Tell us why in the comments below 👇
I'll sure he'll never order from DD, they can keep their shitty drivers and I can keep my hard earned money. 🤑
instacart is better for making a quick stack to your bank account after work.
Me and my wife got into it about this great debate weeks ago from my experience here in Florida Instacart is wayy better for an example I get a lot of orders that’s 40 items for 48-50 bucks and the trip to the customers house is 3-4 miles away . Now my experience with door dash was totally different they want you to drive wayy cross town for 5 to 7 bucks just to deliver some one who ordered a cheese burger and fries from McDonald’s. I just don’t think that’s worth it I’ll rather just hustle for 30 mins and make $48 -50 bucks instead of putting miles on my vehicle just for 7 bucks
That's true but some people don't want the frustration of having to look for the items in the store... At my local Wal-Mart the employees actually bring the items out to the parking lot already shopped for, but I'm not sure which app that is..
That's Walmart online shop for self pickup. It started with covid. @@johnstarks32
in my market instacart is amazing, it does take more hustle and you will sweat a little bit but i can easily make $30+ an hour and a lot of higher class areas customers will tip over $50 for an hours work
Whare is your area
True. I make 40+/hour on instacart in suburbs of ny
IMO: Rule of Thumb for Instacart: You should earn at least $1.00 per item. For example: 30 item order, total should be at least $30.00. Also, no more than a few miles away from store. If you stick to that rule, you'll make good money.
I just started & they have me running all over the place for dimes & nickels. Im really frustrated
@user-yn1cb2di5n It does start off like that but I just started turning down the chump change and waiting for the better ones. Now even the smaller $7 Ones is just 1 item and a few blocks away from the store. 14 on up isnt too bad of a drive either.
We’re in nh on the vt border and Door Dash is def where it’s at 25-30 per hour consistently and most runs under 10 miles you can hit 200$ a day without a problem ifffff your ambitious!!!!
In my book, Instacart does it for me.
Yep I had to pump the brakes on Instacart for the unreasonable pay. Your mileage and out of stock examples are great examples- also I'm not sure if they still change pay depending on the tip but after all the hustle and bustle and risking not getting a good tip SUCKS
Are you running other Gig Apps as well?
Instacart = Wobbly Knees like a Basketball Player !!! Guaranteed !! ( U have been Warned ! )
I'm in Naples Florida. Mostly Rich and Richer.
Any (experienced) opinions? Thanks!
If your smart instacart is a lot less miles on your can and most of your active time is shopping and you can get 20-30$ orders that take and hour and less then 5 miles on your car.
Great details!!
I’m thinking now of Doordash because I’m doing a quick pick up drop off not spending and hour in a store fighting the crowds. And batching??? I go to grocery stores at 10pm when I can zip around without crowds or lines . I feel Doordash would be great in bad weather or late night for better tips! And I may get 1-3 grocery orders to do the same with 3 quick Doordash quick pick ups and deliveries. My son during Covid quickly racked up $1000 on my debit card getting Doordash. My husband was home and could have driven him, but no he wanted it delivered?!!!
Honestly from what it seems like you make a bit more on instacart but it can be hectic.
It depends how long the Instacart order takes you in the store. Some of these orders will keep me for longer then it’s worth, then the time to pay ratio goes down in the long run.
@@georgiaclifford9274 I quit working for it after a month because the pay was garbage. I forgot about this comment but they don’t pay enough when you truly think about how often and far you’re driving and how long it takes to load a cart and make it there on time
@@georgiaclifford9274 I was doing Uber eats and instacart and I still wasn’t making enough to fill up for gas. Ended up paying out of pocket for gas constantly which would be a majority of my check. 😭😭😂
super informative thank u 🙌
Great video and really helpful !!!
Glad it was helpful!
Ive been doing instacart for 2 days & it’s NOT worth it. The most I’ve been paid is $10. I had to drive 20 minutes to the store, shop, then drive 18 minutes to the customer. Im going to check out door dash. Im in Memphis, TN. Yesterday IC pd me $62 ( includes 2 extra tips) I used half a tank of gas $13 & I worked from 8 am until 6 pm. It sucks. Don’t do it.
this mayne need to take sum robitusen on god
lol
😂😂😂
What?
With Shipt you don’t know if they tipped you or not
fucking awesome review and video. legit
Can’t you choose a different store location?
I wouldn't because you run the risk of the store that you picked doesn't have the same brands, or items in stock 🙃🤦🏾♀️👀
Does Instacart orders tell you the number of items you would have to shop for before you click accept?
yes
Yes
They are both garbage apps.
INSTACART SUCKS
Your voice is like nails on a chalkboard
It is indeed all based on location. My honest tip for doordash is to dash in areas that are nice. What mean by that is high class/medium class people. You tend to get better tips and orders come in faster because they have the money to order food online
Instacart makes me miserable sometimes. I never pick orders over 20 items when I do it, if it’s anymore typical it’s just gonna take too much time. But it’s very batch dependent, and all my customers have been so nice so far. Still new though. I did one dash and I already like it better.
I'm tempted to say "InstaCart rocks" just to get s reaction from you guys LoL but I haven't worked for neither. Informative vid 👍
Ive had to shop for 46 items with door dash shop and pay 😭💀 so sometimes it can be a lot of items
with all the changes they keep making, and putting in a stupid signature system where the customer has to touch your phone to accept the order....and the constant app crashes, with terrible support, after 2 years of doing doordash, I'm done with them . disgusting company. im on to instacart coupled with ubereats. doordash ceos are running that company into the ground
For real? The customer must accept their order by personally touching your phone? Is that how it works?
@@FitLikeaPhoenix yes. that's what doordash is doing now . im done with them. after i get paid next, im never using them ever again
@@FitLikeaPhoenix yes as a consumer and I hate it. As much as DoorDash charges the drivers should make a lot
That's weird. I haven't driven for doordash yet but I use them as a customer and I haven't been asked once to touch someone's phone.
@@TinyTC im glad i got out of these companies when i did. went downhill HARDDDCORE. i hope they go out of fucking business
Real hustlers do real things y’all just lazy lol
4:29 Same as doordash I was at a mcdonald's and they sent me to another one but I was at the mcdonald's parking lot that I was in and it was the wrong one..
Had to go to the other mcdonald's
Good video. I'm just getting started and I signed up for both. Appreciate your feedback.
In instacart if the item in stock they remove the tip 😢
Good info - appreciate the vid
I hate instacart is not worth it at all
Really? Why
@@tonyfuri9693 I’m sure the fact your shopping adding a lot of time, the frustration from customers when your replacing items. Then the factor of getting the groceries to them. You could delivery to a apartment and have to make multiple long trips upstairs. A lot of variables.
@@cryodon 🙏 I needed that
@@tonyfuri9693 aye no problem man. I’m sure maybe instacart fits some people. But food delivery just seems more efficient. Hope everything works out for you !
@@cryodon doordash is more money for doing less? I believe that sounds good buddy
Instacart sounds awful.
exactly, location dependent
oh thank you i think im going to do doordash now
Thanks For the Info very helpful
Glad it was helpful!
