I have a Sony XAV -712HD which has an HDMI on the back of the radio. I bought the Apple lightning to HDMI converter today, plugged the HDMI in the radio and connected my iPhone 7 Plus to the Apple adapter. I selected the HDMI input on the radio but it says not supported. I checked all my setting to see if I needed to turn something on/off but everything looked normal. I also tested the HDMI cable and Apple adapter on my TV and confirmed both are working properly. Any ideas as to why this is not supported? I'm considering buying the Beuler HDMIV cable but I would rather have the quality that an actual HDMI cable has. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

OK I see the link for the BU-HDMIV but what was the other adapter to plug the android to mirror on my radio? You said the name so fast I couldn't understand exactly what you said no matter how many times I watched which was many. I have a dvd player I just installed in my 99 Tahoe but no GPS and no WiFi or Google play which is why I need this. For the GPS and for access to play videos from my phone for my kids.

The adapter is different than the one with the link you provided.
Is this only for HDMI to analog RCA or does it do RCA analog to HDMI, example, can we connect an older RCA component ( VCR ) to an HDMI only source ?
Actually, the RCA's on the adapter are outputs. So the Beuler is taking the HDMI source and converting it to RCA signal and sending it to the RCA inputs of the Radio/Display.

I NEED help. I bought the lightning av adapter AND the beüler HDMIV. It's NOT working on my pioneer avh1700s NOR my television. The lightning av works with the just the phone to TV but not the beuler to the RCA's. Please help....

That entirely depends on the stereo used and what inputs it has. If the stereo has a backup camera input and another AV inputs, then yes. If there is only one Video input, then no

Whatever is going on with your phone transfers to the radio. So if you're listening to music on your phone then yes, but something like the stereo's tuner or disc slot won't work because you're going to be in a different SOURCE when mirroring.

I hope you can help me. I have the same Pioneer AVH-X5800 BHS model. I install everything, the screen appears but then there is no signal and the classic screen with colored lines, sometimes it returns sometimes no, the music goes away and the cell phone does not charge at all.

Yep...I get no signal also. Plus they forgot a female to female hdmi adapter. 2 seconds looking at the cables would have given them a clue. 100 bucks down the drain...

I have pioneer avhx5800bhs and got the buer hdmi to rca adapter and hdmi to lighting cable, I plug everything in , including the USB for power and I get nothing, AV source is enabled and all I have is a blank screen.

Quality Mobile Video yep followed exact instructions, plugged the rca into the correct ports, the adapter gets warm so it gets power from usb, I plug the phone in the lighting and I get the a small blue bar on top of the screen but no image on the unit
Ok sorry about that, I've done this on all the AVH's without fail, this is the first time I've heard that happening when everything is connected correctly and AV setting turned on, but lets get this figured out! If I were you I would test each component individually to make sure we can figure out specifically what the problem is, whether its the radio, hdmi, or an adapter. If you have another one, try a different HDMI cable. Check the AV adapter with your tv and HDMI cable to make sure that's not defective. You can use the bueler on a tv too if you have a usb power source. If possible check the AV input of the radio with another device, and even make sure it's playing DVD's without fail. If everything checks out and its the bueler or lightning AV then send them back to us and I'll test them myself!

Will the kenwood ddx774 work with thus?
It's possible, that radio doesn't have a "Video Input", but it does have two Camera inputs, one rear and one front, and theoretically it should work with one of those inputs, all you'd have to do is change the source!
We have many double din car stereo . Some come with inbuilt android and other without but with same operating system . Here is my question ' can we install android in car stereo .

Tried to used a hdml to rca conversion kit and the video is horrible. Tried pal/ntcs switch. Video plays but there is lines constantly moving up and down the screen. Any ideas?
You likely have a power issue that is causing the interference

Works fine on a TV . But headunit I get those lines. It's a kenwood dmx7706s if that helps. Any ideas would be helpful. Been wrecking my brain trying to correct this

This technique definitely works for the AVH-X2800BS right? I purchased the bueler and lightning adapter but it would not work, only the lightning cable worked when I hooked it up on my hdmi tv. I called and you guys sent me a new bueler. I was told that might have been the problem.
It should 100% work with that radio. Are you following all the steps? Are you going into the System settings and turning the AV source on?
Yes I followed everything step by step from the video and then tried it on my tv as you suggested to some one else in the comments below and it did not work with the bueler but it DID work with just the lightning cable. So I called the 1-800 number and they said they wouldn't send me another bueler (this was yesterday) and I should have gotten another email with another tracking number today but still haven't.

Awesome Scott. So we just finished testing a bunch of them, and figured out what the problem with it is. The manufacturer changed the design and made it the Female connection with the Male to Male adapter. The one I test in the video has just a male HDMI on the beuler, no adapter. So the M to M adapter the new model comes with isn't working for mirroring, but if you use a regular HDMI cable to connect the beuler to the AV adapter it will work, so the beuler you have will work that way, but you'll still be getting the new one in the mail on us.
Hey man I have the jvc kw-v350bt and best buy installed it in my 2002 Cadillac it has a USB cable and also has an Android button on the app screen but they said I can't sync or mirror my Android but my manual and UA-cam says I can. Also when I connect my xiaomi black Android phone to the jvc Bluetooth it says connected and shows the music playing but no sound comes out! But I connect my phone's blue tooth to anything else it works fine the guys couldn't figure it out omg. I need help bro

I would try resetting your phone's bluetooth, then forget it from the stereo, then reconnect.

When you mirrorlink the only thing you can see is the screen you're mirroring from. When you disconnect the mirrorlink you'll have full function of the radio back.

Well technically yes, you would just only connect to the Video RCA and none of the audio ones!

MHL is not supported on new Samsung Products. You can only share screen via screen mirror built into andriod OS. must use wifi adapters( chromecast, smart TV etc)

I dont get it. Im trying to find a radio that can use mirror link, but every radio manufacture puts the ports in the back so you cant access them making it unusable. Same thing with aux ports.
Most ports are in the back but they give you cables or you get your own to run from the back of the radio to the front seat through the dash when you install it. It is a bit of a hassle, but that's unfortunately the way it is.

Lol not sure if that's possible. Maybe some sort of Bluetooth transmitter. But bluetooth wireless so it gets a lot more complicated vs hard wiring like this

Wires wires wires wires wires, to much hassle, I use basically that same head unit but saved a bunch of money by just getting a solid dash mount, phone now sits where I can see and accesses my navigation and music when the steering wheel buttons just won't get the job done. Neat gadget but I do not see how it's practical
What if I can't get to the back of my radio?
If you have a factory stereo, chances are you'll have to upgrade it, almost no factory stereos have RCA inputs for mirroring

I hooked the HDMI up to my laptop and it mirrored just fine (from the the TV in my truck) and then when I hook up the MHL to my phone I get nothing
