Ok I have a silly question, If I have the Pioneer - AVH-4201NEX all I need is the Belkin dongle and the Kenwood cord? And NOT the Rca/Hdmi adapter..?
I did this to my temp radio (avh 210 ex) it works it look live i watch youtube videos while im bumping my two 12’s american bass xd’s with audiopipe apcl 3000.1D and it sounds clean sounds coming out of it so yeah it works but u need those same exact wires cant use bootleg wires trust me i tried i had all those same wires but bootlleg ones laying around my room and i tried and nothing until i bought on amazon the kenwood wire and the isimple medialinx wire and PA POW POW,,, It worked everybody trips out on how i did that lol great mod

What’s the best connection for Pioneer AVH-1440NEX and iPhone 7+ to work? Will the connections described work?
If I was to do this, and have say 2 screens on both of the headrests for rear entertainment plugged into the single yellow video output, then split off to both screens, which display the same image, and both a front camera and a rear camera taking up the other yellow input, would this mirror to said external displays that are plugged into the output?

I have the AVH-3400BH in a 09 Ram with an aftermarket backup camera. I want to set it up to watch movies from Hulu & UA-cam. I don't know what outputs I have on the back of my radio or how it was wired when installed. What configuration & accessories will I need? Can you please tell me what settings to change to make this successful.

so I've figured out how to use a fire stick on the pioneer avh 3800bhs. it's sweet because it won't lag or have the disconnection problem, plus it has UA-cam and Netflix on there along with Hulu and other stuff. I plan on loading kodi on it so I will have movies on the go! All I have to do is set up my phone as a mobile hot-spot and I'm in business

So annoying I’m trying to do this on my 7800BT and it just will not have it. Got iPhone 7 connected through dock connector then HDMI cable to the 3 RCA plugs. On the 7800 I have a few video RCA out the back being video in, video out to rear monitor and rear view camera. I’ve unplugged all 3 and trying the red, white and yellow on all of the yellow RCA into the headunit with AV on but whatever I try I am just not getting mirror on screen although the iPhone recognises it’s connected to dock connector. Also tried a Chrome cast plugged into the video in but nothing from that. Do I need to go with the Aux cable route for mine?

Hi! Wirelessly Netflix doesn't work, u can open the app, play any movie or serie and the only thing u get it's the audio, everything goes black.

FYI - iOS 12.0 has a software issue with the Apple lightning to HDMI adapter (as of Oct 2018). I had this working perfectly until I bought a new iPhone XS Max. It took me a week and $100 to figure out what the problem was. Hopefully Apple fixes the bug with the next iOS update.
Update: The iOS 12.1 update did nothing to fix the issue. Still get sound but no video.
Update: YES! The iOS 12.1.1 update that came out in December 2018 finally fixed the issue. Everything now works as it should.

Yes it can i just did mine and it looks live clean sound u need the exact same wires though the kenwood and the medialinx a regular hdmi and the one for your phone and it will work perfect

what are you talking about? what's with all the cables? i connect my lg v20 to my avh-x3700bhs with a simple usb c cable plugged into a usb extension cable from the rear usb port. i can use my phone, navigation, view files, play music videos, watch youtube, and what ever else i can do with my phone. plus i can control the phone using touch screen on the radio.

Ramon Moreno its a safety feature. If its wired to your handbrake, it works when your handbrake is engaged but cuts screen to that when your handbrake/parking brake ia disengaged. You can just wire it to a physical switch ans mount it wherever ( this is what most people do)

I've tried this method but it still does not work on my AVH-X490 & Samsung A51. I get a message explaining how it's prohibited to watch anything while driving. But I don't have a wire to connect to my handbrake switch. Can anyone offer some advice?
Your guna have to add a switch to your reverse break input connection bro so when that message comes up you just flip the switch and it'll show up

Be careful, some adapters look like the kenwood ca-c3av but are wired differently. Sometimes it's a matter of swapping the RCA connections but I had bought a cable that simply wouldn't work. The Kenwood cable is pricey but you'll want to get a proper cable instead of wasting $6 on a lookalike that doesn't work.
These headunits are money hungry little machine’s. Gotta purchase like a ton of extra stuff in order to get the full potential outta the indash lol.. crazy and sad at the same time, kinda wana return my Avh1400 now 😂

Ok so my problem is i hit AV and it will sill my phone but its blurry (turned phone display resulation to minimum) and when i turn phone sideways or start a video the screen jumps to 3 colored lines and to get it back i have to restart it all. Any help guys?
