It’s been a year since we had the family join us on Curiosity. Last time we sailed around the Bahamas spearing fish and lobster in the warm crystal clear water. It’s a difficult trip to beat but we’ve heard amazing things about the Las Perlas Islands off the Pacific coast of Panama.
We set sail for the unknown in search of adventure and good memories. On the surface it might not seem as amazing as the Bahamas but we all had a blast.
We all share a little insight about life on board Curiosity and what living in small, hot spaces is really like.
Love from all of us here aboard s/v Curiosity,
- Jason, Nikki, Cleo and Singa (and the whole family too!)

You can tell the family means a lot to Jason. Looked a bit choked up at the end when talking about his sister's wedding. I say this every time you guys post a video, but I'm going to say it again, thank you again for all the dedication you put into these videos. I honestly think this is the best one yet. The raw emotion came pouring out through my computer screen and into my cheeks with smiles. Love you guys!
jason holding back the tears at the end was very sweet...and nicky crying :(
a nomadic lifestyle has it's downsides....but chins up, the youtube family is always with you :)
Being the captain of the boat Jason, you could have performed the wedding for your sister
Guys, I have been watching you for a long time. I enjoy all of your episodes. But this one, with the interaction of family, was one of the best. You are good people.
The thing that sets Gone with the Wynns, SV Delos, La Vagabonde, and Rick Moore apart from most of the other sailing channels is their proclivity for having guest crew on board. The guest crew element adds a great deal of interest and the curious notion that it could also happen to you and or me.
La Vagabonde, or Riley and Elayna, have had many friends from all over onboard. I haven't seen as many Wynn vids though. Riley and Elayna have patrons onboard, as well as friends and family. I have yet to see Nikki and Jason's friends from back home in Texas. I'd enjoy that. I'll catch up!
~ 👦🏻👦🏻🛳🤩❗️~
*Darn, again, with Jacob and Jason it’s too much... two Wynn brothers are too much hotness for one boat!* 😉
Nikki, you were either doing a great act in the first few seconds, or you are terrible at hiding your emotions. Either way it was super funny to see your eyes as you said, "The family is coming!"
And Jason, what impressed me the most was that about 18 months ago, you looked just like your brother did in this video - totally lost and bewildered on the boat, but now - that look you gave at 22:00, you have become a totally different person. You really look and sound like a sailor now.
Great video, it has been rewarding to watch both of you.
I asked about Nikki's family. Where are they ever? A little sad? I just get this sad feeling.
Nikki and Jason are outstanding hosts and certainly try to make it fun for all on board.....

Sunday with the Wynn's. Nothing better !!
Every time I think your videos cannot get ANY better, they do! The joy and love that is shining through is amazing to watch. It’s bringing me happiness in ways that I can’t quite describe. We are in pretty much isolation here. My very adventurous hubby is sidelined from any major traveling until there is a vaccine for COVID-19. That means I am too! I’m not the type to do the monthly patreon, but I’m looking forward to your next live when I can give you some love! Thank you!😁
You could not have a better crew member than your mom, she jumped in and scraped the boat bottom. 😎😎. What a woman
I just want to acknowledge how far you two have come. Remember all those trolls and naysayers who were awful to you when you were preparing and starting out? LOOK AT YOU NOW. confident sailors preparing to cross the Pacific Ocean. Well, well. Congrats. Thanks 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
Awww, thanks for the love!
You are truly living the dream. What a testament to the joys of living fearlessly!
A tear in my eye but a smile on my face.....what a great family. Thanks for sharing it with us. You two are fantastic hosts.
Dolphins, sharks, rays, flying fish, mackerel, and pelicans! If you two could arrange that many different animals in every video, it'd be much appreciated! Haha! Awesome video. Thanks!
No greater blessing than a loving family and great to spend time together as adults.
19:42 super cool pelican flyby!
Without a doubt, best show on UA-cam! Loved it!
I like Trent & Allie, just as much...
I cried.... says 40+ y/o dude... Love this! You guys give up so much, and share so much with us! Thank you!
What a fantastic video... I'm an Orphan with no siblings, so I get teary-eyed when I see stuff like this... It's Awesome! Apart from that, I remember Sea Sickness, too well... lol And when I finally got my sea legs, another problem hit... "Land Legs"... Sheesh! On dry land, I was up-chucking everywhere... I couldn't get the land to stop moving... Gaud! lol
You guys are so positive and up beat people. I look forward to your videos every Sunday. This is definitely a life I'm going to shoot for.
Now I see why you ditched the RV 😍
Watching how far you guys have come is so fun. Your skills with the camera and editing are amazing. And that drone shot while under way... 🤩👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
" Hi, my name is Mom......you may know me from such films as What's My Line Handler and Panama Canal , the Big Ditch. "
Oh and woohoooo second!!!!!!
Don't forget the glacier hike in Alaska back when they were rolling in the RV.
This might be the best vid you lovely folks have done. Wow.
That is a vacation from Heaven. It's great to see the family. If I were them I would be planning on flying in to visit ya'll at every port.
Following you two since your RV days. This is your best video to date!! You sure have come a long way in every respect. Congratulations.
John H.
This is probably my favorite video of any of the tens of sailing vlogs that I follow!! Captured the joy and the struggle and the beauty of the life you’ve chosen. Good stuff. Keep it up.
Congratulations on your best video ever
Your videos are generally speaking joyful to watch, yet this one was even more outstanding. It's like by magic, everything came together. Both of you were naturally confident, seasoned sailors and smooth, loving hosts to boot. The resulting positive, relaxed atmosphere has 'echoed' back and fore among you. At the end of the process, your happiness made me happy to watch everyone of you. Thank You.
This is probably my favorite episode. You have a beautiful family. Thanks for sharing your family time.
Thanks for taking me along
Another amazing episode. You are the best sailing video bloggers. Edited superbly, great family fun and drone flying under sail. Loved the subtle things like the bird flying by the drone or the unfurling of the jib taken from the drone. The only channel where 30 minutes isn’t long enough. 👍
Loved every minute of dolphins, fish, shark, sailing among many islands, snorkeling, beach partying, and your happy family times.
It was an excellent time :)
You guys always have a smile on your face! I would be so stressed-out all the time! Love your vids!
On Submarines, we pack food everywhere we can. Onions and potatoes are hung up in big net bags. Canned goods like flour, sugar, coffee, cooking oil, and vegetables gets packed on the floor where we walk on top of them until needed. I mean this stuff was everywhere, from around Torpedoes to in between Missile Tubes and in the Crew Berthing. Luckily, we had a walk-in refrigerator and a walk-in freezer. We generally ran out of “fresh” about a week out on our typical minimum 70-day submerged patrol. We put our clothing under the mattresses (where they stayed “pressed”) and in small lockers. So, I fully understand what you mean about packing out for a voyage! You are lucky that you can make fresh water, otherwise that would take up so much more space.
This episode had a lot going on! It was great that you could share this experience with your families and that they have a deeper knowledge and respect for what you do and how you are experiencing life to its fullest.
Wow. That's amazing.
I liked your music choices a lot in this one, and again, some great drone footage. Everyone seemed to have a fine time; that's really nice, and even better when family happens that way.
I look forward to each Sunday when you post your adventures. Love Jason's Mom (Mary)who has traveled to be a mate on the boat several times in the past. Jason and Nikki are so fortunate to live as you have been doing the past years. Look forward to Sunday Posts of your journeys. Love your family comes and joins you two. Keep posting my Dallas Friends.
The pretty Italian looked Miserable. Lol. There is always one.
I know.
This was A wonderful family vacation. Thank you for sharing.
i was going to say exactly the same. she doesn't look happy at all.
Oh, looking forward to Galapagos! This has always been a dream of ours, definitely on our bucket list as well😊
I live my life vicariously through you two!!! Thank you so much for posting these incredibly well made videos. Lotsa Love from your fans Newfoundland!!!
Surely you have heard of wearing earplugs while cleaning the hull, they keep those crabby little critters from trying to set up a homestead in your ear canals
Poppy cat from Montana says Right on....and smooth sailing..... you four are in a leadership role for how to take control of your existence and meet challenges and create the present let alone future opportunities only possible through your mastering the day to day of now... such teamwork ...its frankly humbling and inspirational
To ALL those people who says, "Man! I should do that, these people has got it MADE!!!" .... Sailboat ownership is HUGE work and it never stops! These guys are SOOO full of great energy and love. They are so smart in their craft in how it functions and even how it doesn't function. You have to know it's limitations!
What a COMPLETE AWESOME video! How can anyone give this video a thumbs down?? Great family and I'm glad everyone displayed the flexibility during their stay.
My vote -- Best channel on UA-cam!!!! I'm going back now and watching some of the older videos. That would be a great idea for everyone to do!!
Thanks for answering my question about how you plan your routes and such. That's ALOT of work!!! In fact its kind of intimidating to a degree. Good thing wife and I aren't talking about any sea ventures just yet. We are still working on following in your land travel foot steps first. lol Safe passage!!!
Sad to be left alone again after a few days of fun and people around. Thats life.
Great video. This is what every day should be like. What a life! Grab a short scrap of rope or strap, make a large loop and hang it thru any side handle of the dingy and you have a single deployable rope step to help get in the boat. any rope will do. Used it on the canoes when we would canoe camp as a way to get back in if they flipped for the " less agile folks".
+jim28fl What a great idea!
Another wonderful video. It must be great to have family visit, and you all seemed to get on so well (that is unusual). Thanks
Great video please continue as so many get so much pleasure from watching, safe traveling.

Epic family adventure 👍🏻
Guys, look into ultrasonic antifoul. We fitted Sonihull and so far have zero fouling after 12mths of continuous warm water cruising. No more scraping!
