It's our last few days on the dock and we're cramming EVERYTHING we can. A quick visit to the local town, some coffee, a surfing beach, boat work, free diving for lobster, caves...man it's a jam packed few days.
Oh and in case you didn't catch it: YES our coffee grinder broke! Yep, after leaving Boquete with all our super expensive booty we can't even enjoy it. Oh well, we'll find a replacement eventually!
Hope you like this little slice of our lives as much as we enjoy sharing. With love from us all.
Jason, Nikki, Cleo and Singa (and the crew too!)

Wait a minute, you're to town for coffee? Sorry your grinder broke. Thanks for taking us along, it makes for a pleasant Sunday morning.
Absolutely loved the superman swimthrus !! Great video in it's entirety. Nikki's 'happy' face while diving ... priceless !! 😊👍👌⛵️⚓️🍷
That walk along the Panamanian beauty to the little town with native food is what adventure travel is all about. Great posting! :-)
Again, such a great job on your videos, both in filming and subject matter. Quality workmanship. What a great way to make a living
Same in Costa Rica, all lawns are mowed with weed whackers. Crazy stuff when I first got here, but my new normal :)
I believe the unusual pattern in the centre of the spiders web imparts a form of tension to the weave so that it aggressively encapsulates prey when the spider triggers it.
Freediving tip: when you are going back up for air, keep your eyes looking up, blow out before you breach, and your snorkel will be empty of what when you hit the surface. Little PADI tip ;)
Birds chose your boat because you are good people and animals can sense that... :-)
Another great video!
That was amazing! The dive was awesome! And I would have hung a hammock up after that lunch. That lunch was huge. Nikki the smushed plantains are called tostones (toes-tone-es) they are so so good dipped in an olive oil, vinegar & garlic sauce (mojo) YUM! I'm so happy y'all are doing well. Wishing you always safe sails. My love to you all. ❤
Jason, its amazing how far you have come regards the boat maintenance. I can see you changing from the student to the teacher in front of my eyes. Im currently binge watching you guys and cant wait to see whats next. Much love from Wales
You guys always make me happy, so I just wanted to say thank you! Much love!
Mighty fine video log as always. It's really good to have you back.
So cool! Excellent video. Wonderful lands & waters. Beautiful people. Always love the drone view. Thanks for sharing.
Very good job of filming this episode's adventures and great editing as well! I love the drone overhead perspectives....thank you all....
It has been well worth the longer wait for this video. The nature photography both on land as well as under water are superb, reminding me National Geographic footage of similar genre.
The 'ferns' they touched are probably a variety of Mimosa plant which has become a noxious weed in Northern Australia, there it is referred to as 'sensitive plant' due to it's habit of folding it's foliage shut if touched.
Awesome video! I loved the intro portion with epic shot after epic shot :) So glad you guys are exploring Panama! Now I really want to go there someday.
Love the music you selected!!
Loved it! Really enjoying the great crew you have on-board
Wow "most fish I've ever seen ever," great words of the great Dan who visited with you....totally beautiful, amazing views, great hosts the great Nikki and Jason. 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛🐠💛🐠💛🤍💛🐠💛🐠💛🐠✨🐠💛🐬So cool. I love these vids of just relaxing, enjoying, diving, entertaining, working too but Good times. 💙🐬🎶
That's the most fish i have seen on any of your snorkeling adventures that have made it to your channel. Beautiful
Always so enjoyable, you guys are why I'm RV'ing all over the country full time...cheers!
Love all the footage of the islands. I miss it there. Looks like you all are doing lots of fun stuff. Don't forget about Playa estrella and bocas del drago, you won't regret going there.
Cheers.
Fantastic team effort... Very well done !!!
Great to see all of you having a good time after all the computer problems. David seems to be a great addition to your crew. Dale & Justin have really been a fantastic addition and hopefully they'll spend more time as not only your crew, but as a part of your new Curiosity family. Please tell them I subscribed to their UA-cam channel and will watch their videos. Thanks for everything you and Jason do. I truly look forward to Sundays when you post your adventures. God bless, be safe and have fun. Michael Morale (a.k.a. smajourney51)
Great video, Great editing! Well done on getting the technical difficulties worked out.
Thanks for sharing
Wow just wow! Thank you
Yeh another great Sunday Funday is back. Great underwater footage along with all the aerial and photos.
That was great. Wish it was longer. Thanks again for sharing with us.
Love the Ceu playing at the coffee shop
The spiders are Orb Weavers, and the plants are "Sensitive Plant". The Orb Weavers make that distinctive zig zag pattern on their webs. The Sensitive Plant is in the pea/legume family.
Sundays are Wynning days for me!!! Another super cool installment of fun and adventure on land and sea! P.S. really stunning aerials!
I was holding my breath for you a couple times. Nice snorkel spot
Rubber snake just on the deck will work. Thanks for sharing another great video.
The next best thing to waking up to a new Wynns video is to climb between the sheets at the end of the day to watch some older videos for the second or third time around. Life is good.
Great video you’ve become my number one sailing channel to watch your storytelling is excellent camera work is good and I just enjoy your adventures in your spirit keep up the good work thanks for sharing
What a joy this was, and super interesting!
Thanks for another great video. The underwater footage is amazing :)
wonderful video
I've been watching your sailing videos for a while now and I love them. UA-cam just recommended one of your older RV videos for me and I love that series too! Now I'm going back and watching a bunch of your RV videos... Great stuff, you guys are awesome!
Thanks for coming along on the journey.
Always an awesome adventure. Thank you. I enjoyed the additional crew shots. It’s nice to get to know your boat family. I loved the part where Jason had nothing to say. It made me smile 😊
Honestly, i like dirty jobs videos as much if even more than the others! Keep it up! Fair winds
Great aqua video again!
We called them grass ninjas 🥷 in Panama 🇵🇦 . They cut the grass super even. 🤙🏼
We noticed the same thing in Belize, most grass cutting was done with weed-eaters. Great video editing, photography, music, and commentary. Your videos are excellent. Something that all You-tubers should aspire to.
I was so worried back when you two told us where you were planning on sailing. I could only imagine things like kidnappings and pirates. WTH? I am fascinated by all you are seeing and doing and the wonderful people and foods and wildlife you are discovering! I send you safe vibes as usual but now they are mixed with awe. Love the drone shots btw. Hugs from the prairie.
Small section of flat wire painted black with stripes will fool birds. Great video.
Yay you are back in the water!!! Love all the vids. I mention you guys in my last video,,,,Nikki that iced Cacoa, coconut, coffee drink sounds amazing! We had a cacoa cooking class in Belize ... I'm in love with the stuff I brought home. Thanks for the adventure guys! XO Kelly
Another great vid. Thanks!
You made really good use of B roll for visual story telling there. I like the shots where you
turned off the a/c, disconnected the power cable, etc. to show that you were changing locations.
woo hoo it's here!!!!!!!
I own that same bodum grinder and am fairly handy so I took mine apart when it died. It is sadly actively designed to be unrepairable. I ended up replacing it with a baratza encore and am much happier with it's grinding and repairability, but it doesn't have a timer so you have to site there holding the grind button. I wish the virtuoso wasn't so much more money.... on the bright side, there are a lot of super cheap knockoffs of the exceptional porlext tall hand grinder on amazon and they are all pretty decent for the most part. If you are thinking of going on a longer voyage you guys really need to buy one of those for backup purposes;)
Excellent team effort...
Nice vid.
Joakim is awesome!
Keep sailing!
Another great video! The coffee spot on the hill is exactly the kind of place I'd like to visit in Panama! Thank you for removing the bird nest -- having one's little eyeballs and brains microwaved whilst in the nest you built yourself would just be tragic! Really looking forward to following your trek across the canal!
Nice quality video, enjoyed the underwater camera work + editing skills.
I give you guys a 10+ :)
Nice video, enjoyed the views of the little town. Hope you got your computer all squared away!
Nice video guys!
That trimaran looked pretty bonkers. Great video guys.
The ferns you touched reminded me of the plants in "Avatar"
wow that was the best place to dive so far that i have watched, including the "Curiosity" dives. (I watch them also) safe sailing
cool marina!
OMG 🤣🤣🤣 i cant stop laughing, cuz everytime i see SLOTH, i remember Sloth from Goonies 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
really cool.
Beautiful location
Wow, what an incredible opening shot! Also, I love it when the sloths itch themselves - so cute!
Now I know I want a sloth! Beautiful fish! You guys are experts at filming and story telling! ⛵️
New guy doesn't talk much eh! Love the canadians🇨🇦 great job as always. From St.catharines Ontario
AWESOME
Nice snorkel footage - (I grew up with a diving rule of lobsters by hand only so I cant handle the spearing of them) great to see a new episode! Love the drone footage! Am looking forward to some m ore Panama series - spent two weeks there last year but only a day at Portabello, the rest in city with a nice day trip to Tobago Island (the city side of canal).
Vocês são os melhores 👏☺
Fab intro video 👌
this vid's edit was a step above! Great job, great filming...props to whoever fetched the cam when needed lol
Oh no! Broken coffee grinder! How about going low-tech with a Hario Skerton Ceramic manual Coffee Mill and an AeroPress. You’ll never be without your coffee fix.
Run Nemo.....RUN!!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving
Nice video
Hi guys nice to Watch you again. Greetings from italy
Ciao!
To keep the birds away, mount a fake owl on the spreader.
They mow grass with weedwackers in Costa Rica too. Weirdest thing
Great underwater footage...Yee haww
Dan's voice is amazing haha
maybe one of those robotic owl things ? (they have motion sensors I think).. I would imagine it's only an issue for longer anchor times.. but a search tells me you can get them for under $40
It's not crazy to mow your lawn with a weed whacker. I've done it in California and I have a good push mower, a gas mower and an electric (corded) mower - my favorite. I also use the electric mower to pulverize leaves, twigs, & small branches when I prune the oak tree and roses.
a good area to fish is where the muddy water meets the clear water.
Nice
Free diving THRU the reef is DANGEROUS ( but fun) as there is no direct to surface path if you get stuck. Better for scuba altho that has its hazards as well.
if you will be on the southern pacific coast of Costa rica you are welcome to the house we live right above the Dominicalito beach and bay i think there is free anchoring there we will be there from January 8th to March the 7th before we head back to Texas the hill country
Take the offer from the nice man! Explore Costa Rica before crossing to the PAC. You guys have done such a wonderful job of showing a part of Panama that many of us never know about. A lot of blogs going on in the PAC but rarely anything about Central America. Costa Rica is surely a place to discover. Wherever you decide to go, we'll follow you Thanks!
That place is just so pretty. I use to work in a fabrication shop and made lots of repairs. I hope that part holds but broke for some reason in the first place and the tig weld is now not as strong as a new one would be. If I was doing the repair I would of use a thicker metal.I know he did not have the right size. I would call that friend that is a boat broker and see if he can get a thicker one made and ship to you. If it breaks out at sea you might get into trouble if it is bracing something and end up with more damage. When I was doing that work I never would half way do it.
Love your videos, hey why didn’t you ladies buy the BIG sunglasses ????? Lol
Another great video -- that underwater sequence so beautiful fun and amazing!
Sorry about your coffee grinder. I noticed in earlier episode(with my unerring attention to detail) that you had same Bodum coffee grinder I have -- such an excellent grinder (barring a breakdown) -- a sad loss indeed! (There is of course the rare Panamanian coffee grinder monkey and may be possible to lure one of these aboard -- and have heard that they work for peanuts -- or bananas.)
Haha!!!!!
Missed you guys, glad to see you again. Interesting little village- seemed well marked out, yet not too busy...its the off season? and how is provisioning?
Next time... while Nikki's up there... clean and wipe off the undersides of the spreaders.
Keeps them from 'getting gunky'.
Putting stainless fittings on over sealant. Tighten up 'snug'. Wait a few hours.
Then go to full torque. Others have mentioned... probably time to scrub the bottom.
Owl decoy works.
Seems you guys had a long stay at the Red Frog which seems expensive. I couldn't find pricing on their website. Was their not good anchorages or was the price reasonable enough to make it worth it?
Love the free diving clips. How long are you guys holding your breath?
That tri-maran looked cool @19:30 (and 20:20). Any chance you met them and could do a boat tour? When are you making the transit through the canal? Great video as always, glad the computer thing worked out.
the outhouses overflow during the rain and guess where it goes. Not pleasant.
If it's possible, tie a fishing line (no hooks), with one end as far out as you can of the radar boom and with the other side to the mast. This will be a nice way to avoid that the birds can land and build their nest at the platform - and the material in the fishing line should not disturb the radar.
Did you tell Garmin about the nesting nook? Maybe they could improve that mounting.
