As sailors we never know what the day holds for us. It could be catastrophy filled with broken bits or it could be calm seas with the winds at our backs. Our short sail from Bora Bora and the adventures that ensue are about as jammed packed near perfect day as any sailor could dream of.
It all starts with a beautiful sail to the tiny island of Taha’a and ends with filling water buckets in a dark alley behind a gas station. And that’s not even the exciting bits!

A little surprised you needed water to wash dishes. When I cruised (decades ago), we used salt water to wash dishes. This was before water makers on boats so we would not waste water for those types of things. Really enjoy all your videos. Thanks for sharing all this wonderful information with us.
Elizabeth M I’m sure they washed them in the ocean, Niki is a very clean tidy tot, I guess once you have a water maker, it’s hard to go back.. plus it’s another job in finding water on top of the work load already on boats, if you’ve got it, I say use it...

Just loved this video...I think because of the dichotomy of having to deal with specific problems like the trampoline and water needs versus getting an education on local rum making, a food truck with delicious eats and all that gorgeous sea life in the coral river/cut leading to the lagoon. And certainly, the sketchy-feeling midnight water run added to the ambiance! You guys are real #Wynners !!!!
