You can definitely cure eczema but you have to do it internally. An elimination diet would help you determine what is causing your son’s eczema. I did the elimination diet for myself and it turns out that gluten was the culprit. Removing gluten from my diet almost immediately reversed my eczema. Topical creams like tallow balm can help the rash improve but it will come back again as long as the internal culprit is not eliminated.

I actually this past few months have had horrible dry scalp. I think extreme stress and hormones with nursing and such. But I actually did put this tallow all throughout my scalp, took a wide tooth comb and really massaged my scalp, let it sit for 3 hours or so, and then washed it all out. I had very minimal dryness after when normally it is bad even right after the shower. I’ve also found just adding rosemary oil to jojoba oil with the same process works well too. You can search through this thread and see and I also believe that a lot of these issues can be solved with food and diet. It just depends what you want to do for your family and such. What you think is worth doing. There’s info on here from others as well as just researching different anti inflammatory diets. But you can for sure HELP the symptoms with tallow and oils in my experience.
It is possible to cure eczema and it can take up to 6 months to recover healthy skin.. a nutritionist would take a different way to accomplish that... well done 🎉
I'm atopic myself. You should check carnivore diet for your baby. Eczema comes from inside. Doesn't matter if you can relieve the itching externally, it will come up again and again until the baby is cured internally. I know this because I've been battling since I was born until 30 yo. No PUFAs, no carbs (at least for a while), no perfum or shampoo, no teflon or any other toxic material as cookware, no internal devices like silicone, copper or even dental amalgams or titanium if you are an adult. Good luck ❤
It has a somewhat stickier texture but once it’s on the skin for a few minutes, it absorbs pretty well. Also melting the honey with oils at the same time helps
you'd better let it cool at room temperature before putting in the fridge. putting hot stuff in the fridge is bad for your fridge and all that is inside
Yes, thanks for that clarification! I do let it sit on the counter for a little bit before putting in the fridge, typically. For the video, I sped up the process!
Hi Barbara! Jojoba oil has vitamin E inside as well as B! Not sure if the amount inside is as high as what you have heard of to help. Maybe also storing in smaller containers and making smaller batches would help. We go through ours pretty quickly (a month or two) and I haven’t noticed anything. I assume storing in an air tight glass container helps too.
Do you know of this helping adults with eczema? As a child I had it & now in old age, at 71, I have it again in the places on my scalp where your little boy has it. My hair is very thick so the heat from nape of neck upwards makes it even worse. It drives me crazy! Mxxx
I think it’s a healthy skin care product EVEN if it doesn’t help get rid of your symptoms. It’s still very good for your skin overall as a moisturizer.
Aloe, tea tree...and the final ingredient would require a deposit because the ingredient needs to be protected by environmental groups before becoming even more popular. Yes its internal but the external is where the irritation occurs. If you can get the external environment under control (which you can with eczema), would you even notice you had it...would you even care? Its soothes babys so much when you can at least control the irritation. Doesnt work for all cases, depends on the cause of eczema.
I didn’t find it to be too sticky once it was on the skin for a few minutes. I think it helps to melt it down with the oils vs putting the honey in later in the steps
Yes, thanks! I usually will let it sit at room temp and then put in the fridge when I do this but for the video I was trying to make and finish all before my kids naps were over! So I risked it! 😅
For everyone in the comments, please keep in mind - eczema is a symptom, but it can have many causes. For some it may be dairy, other gluten, others excess sugar, other gut microbiome imbalance. There is no one-size-fits-all answer to eczema, what works for some may not work for others!
This product ends up smelling slightly beefy but honestly I’ve gotten used to it. I don’t think it makes you smell personally. The essential oils also help if you were to add those
This is so funny everybody always asks! There’s a slight beefy smell to it but honestly I have gotten used to it and adding essential oils helps! But I really don’t notice it anymore!
Hi, I responded to this in somebody else’s comment about studies and such on lavender EO. I appreciate your comment and really suggest to anybody to do their own research and decide for themselves what they should be doing with any product.
The Carnivore Diet fixes or significantly improved all autoimmune and metabolic diseases. Most, if not all of them, are caused by eating plants. Please check it out.
@@Teresa-xq5ut aw so sorry! I wonder if you could make another batch just double the amount and use what you have now to make it, if it would cut down on the stickiness. We’ve used honey in ours too but it was barely sticky. But we used a small amount compared to the oils and also melted it in during the beginning process
You didn’t say how to store it, seeing you have no preservatives. There are preservatives on the market that are skin safe, I’m assuming you must refrigerate this.
We haven’t had any problems keeping this at room temp. We go through it pretty quickly though. Also keeping in an air tight glass jar is helpful, as well as storing out of sunlight.

What you think is worth doing. There’s info on here from others as well as just researching different anti inflammatory diets. But you can for sure HELP the symptoms with tallow and oils in my experience.
@@sweetbeulahfarm Thank you
could the eczema be from an allergy from maybe gluten? my daughter has developed 2 areas and she's 20..
Does it need some sort of preservative to stop .it goimg mouldy?
Never had a problem with it and I store in a mason jar at room temp
So many experts in the comments 🥴
This is great thx!
Can you use this on the face?
I use it on my face every night as it is a little bit of a thicker consistency. I have seen great results! You don’t need much. It goes a long way.
It is possible to cure eczema and it can take up to 6 months to recover healthy skin.. a nutritionist would take a different way to accomplish that... well done 🎉
My eczema and most of my family eczema is caused by oatmeal
I'm atopic myself. You should check carnivore diet for your baby. Eczema comes from inside. Doesn't matter if you can relieve the itching externally, it will come up again and again until the baby is cured internally. I know this because I've been battling since I was born until 30 yo. No PUFAs, no carbs (at least for a while), no perfum or shampoo, no teflon or any other toxic material as cookware, no internal devices like silicone, copper or even dental amalgams or titanium if you are an adult. Good luck ❤
when you add honey, is it sticky?
It has a somewhat stickier texture but once it’s on the skin for a few minutes, it absorbs pretty well. Also melting the honey with oils at the same time helps
Thank you! Good tips!
you'd better let it cool at room temperature before putting in the fridge. putting hot stuff in the fridge is bad for your fridge and all that is inside
Yes, thanks for that clarification! I do let it sit on the counter for a little bit before putting in the fridge, typically. For the video, I sped up the process!
You don't add vitamin e ? Vitamin E will help the shelf life of the balm and also keep the tallow from going rancid I've heard.
A lot of people have cured it with the lion diet or carnibore diet. Look onto it.
Have you tried using coconut oil instead of tallow?
I have actually put coconut oil in with it as a different fat and it has been nice too! I like to switch up the other fats and it’s been great.
Good stuff. Thanks. If you have a child please turn the pot handle away from little hands
Doesnt work for all cases, depends on the cause of eczema.
you said that the last time you made this you added 1/2 cup of honey?!?!! Doesn't that make it sticky? Especially so much honey?
I didn’t find it to be too sticky once it was on the skin for a few minutes. I think it helps to melt it down with the oils vs putting the honey in later in the steps
Just an fyi...don't put hot pots or dishes into the fridge because it will break your thermostat.😟
Yes, thanks! I usually will let it sit at room temp and then put in the fridge when I do this but for the video I was trying to make and finish all before my kids naps were over! So I risked it! 😅
Does eczema itch?
For everyone in the comments, please keep in mind - eczema is a symptom, but it can have many causes. For some it may be dairy, other gluten, others excess sugar, other gut microbiome imbalance. There is no one-size-fits-all answer to eczema, what works for some may not work for others!
Does it still smell like beef? I have the same tallow and wanted to try it on my daughters skin but it smells like roast
This product ends up smelling slightly beefy but honestly I’ve gotten used to it. I don’t think it makes you smell personally. The essential oils also help if you were to add those
How does it smell?
This is so funny everybody always asks! There’s a slight beefy smell to it but honestly I have gotten used to it and adding essential oils helps! But I really don’t notice it anymore!
Make sure that's a stainless steel bowl or glass...no aluminum.
It woukd have neen great for the Amazon links
I just put them into the description of the video! Thanks!
What is really Tallow, what is it made of?
Tallow is rendered animal fat.... usually beef.
It’s bad for the frigo to put warm stuff inside
Be careful with lavender it is a hormone accelerator. Research before putting lavender please
Hi, I responded to this in somebody else’s comment about studies and such on lavender EO. I appreciate your comment and really suggest to anybody to do their own research and decide for themselves what they should be doing with any product.
❤
Remove wheat from his diet. That eliminates this condition
The Carnivore Diet fixes or significantly improved all autoimmune and metabolic diseases. Most, if not all of them, are caused by eating plants. Please check it out.
Tallow should not smell at all if it’s rendered properly.
I think I messed mine up. I saw a recipe with honey so I added that for its healing power on the skin. It turned out kinda sticky. I hate it. 🤦♀️
Great.i eliminated the essential oils
You didn’t say how to store it, seeing you have no preservatives. There are preservatives on the market that are skin safe, I’m assuming you must refrigerate this.
We haven’t had any problems keeping this at room temp. We go through it pretty quickly though. Also keeping in an air tight glass jar is helpful, as well as storing out of sunlight.
You could keep in refrigerator but I’ve found that as it gets colder (in my car as I’ve traveled) the consistency really changes
You're adorable!! Thank you. By the way anything can be cured!! Especially skin issues. Anyone telling you otherwise either has dark intentions, or is a complete moron. Cheers 😊
Exema is a poor gut issue. Clean up his diet, give him probiotics
Interesting hahoba.oil.olive.tallow
My 2 yr old son came down with eczema afterV@×xination(toxicChemicalsHeavyMetals)..regrets😢
