Enjoy your videos - I made some cayenne oil 30 yrs ago to be used as you described. Well a friend of mine was in the hospital because of poor leg circulation, her legs were a deep purple color and the doctor would not release her until her legs improved. I went to visit and applied my cayenne oil to her legs. The doctor released her a couple of days later because the circulation had improved dramatically. Just wanted to share this with you. Have a great day!
Was the cayenne oil you made 30 years ago what you gave your friend? If so, how old was the oil when you gave it to them? Was this healing just recently or in the long-ago past. Bottom line question - how long does this remedy last?
Thank you for this video! My first balm I did was a cold infused plantain balm I use mostly for chapped lips. I had enough made to gift to several others as well. I am looking forward to trying this recipe and having it ready for when I begin my spring gardening in April and May. Wishing you well from Ohio, USA
Thank you Danu, I love your videos. They are so relaxing and soothing to watch. ❤ I'm studying at moment and ive got a big exam coming up and I just watched this, and it calmed me. Thank you ❤
Good luck with your exam. Believe in yourself and remember to take breaks from studying, every 20 mins or so, or even just stand up and have a shake. Burn Rosemary oil in a diffuser or oil burner and drink Rosemary tea for memory. x
Just what I need right now, as wrists and knees are sore. I'm beginning to dread working in the garden this year, I think the time has come for help. 😊
Thank You so much Terri for sharing this balm recipe as I suffer with neuropathy pain in my hands I'll definitely be making the recipe and trying it out. Your garden beds look absolutely lovely.
Cayenne pepper is a blessing. If you have chest problems have a drink with hot water, cayenne pepper, honey and enjoy! Very good for colds and winter days.
Loved the scenes of working the early spring gardens. You're a couple of months ahead of us in coastal northeast US, so it's like a lovely preview of what's to come! Thanks for keeping the old ways alive
Just in time for my husband who has a sore knee. Great that all these ingredients are my basic ones, I can make some for him this afternoon. Thank you Terry for your channel, my husband and I watch it every Sunday and love it and you💜🐾
One of my favorite ways to use cayenne is to add a tiny pinch to hot chocolate when I'm feeling chilled to the bone from working outside and can't seem to get warm enough. Thank you for this wonderful reminder to make some salve now that the weather allows me to get outside and putter about the garden 😎
This is fantastic! I started keeping cayenne infused oil in my cabinet years back. It worked wonders for lower arms issues. A friend of mine mentioned trying oregano tincture for her carpal tunnel and how well it worked. I have since learned how to make salves and such. I cannot wait to add your recipe to my shelf. This hot infusion will be such a time saver for when I am in a time crunch. Thanks for sharing!
I just made this yesterday for a friend who has a sore back. She showed me your video and then gave me a hunk of beeswax from her hives to use. I am a former herbal student, and had such fun creating your magic. I hope this gets my herbal juices flowing again so I can start making more medicines. Be well!
I always wait for your videos and enjoy visiting your place every Sunday morning. Thank you for sharing your wisdom Terri and lots of love to you and your loved ones❤
Cayenne pepper is a beautiful pepper that should be in everyone's medicine cabinet...I use it when I cut myself, I pour the pepper into the wound and it stops the bleeding and disinfects and heals the cut at record speed with no scaring...everyone should have it in their cabinet...it does sting, but the results are truly amazing 💜
I’ve been drinking coffee with ginger in the morning and my joints are less achy for work. After work I’ve been having orange honey ginger, cinnamon, thyme tea and fall asleep with it helping my joints too. I started making tea bags of the same for coworkers and they say they’re feeling/sleeping much better after work! ❤
I really do. Keep up this great content. I love all the gardening tips and herbal remedies you make on here. It gives me more information on how to do these things myself.
I can already think of several people I can gift this too! Thank you for continuously sharing your wisdom. And I especially enjoyed Lol's music in this video!
Cayenne Pepper prevents plaque and it can also reduce plaque. I had 50% blockage in the Widow Maker below my stent in 2022 , after 6 months using Cheyenne Pepper 2 times a day it reduced 40 % according to the Heart Cath in 2023. I also use Cayenne Pepper for pain.
I found coconut oil works very well as the solvent , and has all the necessary organic plus stuff .. also melts & sets at convenient temperatures -- no need for beeswax.
Thanks for sharing this Terri. My husband made Rosemary Gladstar's 'Creaky Bones Cayenne Rub' for me about 10 years ago, for my at the time hip pain. We have a magical butter machine, and it was ready PDQ. It works very well. One thing to note: I found the rub did stain anything I was wearing, turning anything white to grey. It was worth the effort. Blessings to you and Lol, from Canada. I love the background guitar music, Lol. 🍁
Thanks Karen, delighted to hear it worked so well for you. Yes I suppose it might stain if not rubbed in fully. Lol will be so happy you enjoy his music xx Blessings!
I used to work for a cannabis dispensary in Illinois USA, and they have a Cayenne + CBD (anti-inflammatory cannabinoid) we'd always sell out it; really works! The magic is in the terpenes of the cayenne.
It is so very nice to watch your videos. They are not staged like many I see here in North America, everything is kept so real and natural. Love the music, the relaxed vibes, the lessons and of course your garden and pups (can't forget the hostess and the photographer). When I want to relax and come down to earth your channel is definitely a go to! Thanks from Southwestern Ontario, Canada!
I love cayenne pepper 🌶️ i like putting it in my hot cocoa . Thank you for making both examples and I use paper coffee filters when i strain my herbs when making tinctures wonder if it would work for this or the oil may be too thick to drain properly ? I'll give it a try and see ..all i can do is make a mess. 😂 God bless your gardens with abundance of good yummy things. Enjoy ❤
I made a triple batch of this last week. I started by making a small half batch and went to add my lavender, of which I last used for soap, and instead of drops, I added a glug. I had to then infuse more oil and continue to make it with a safe 2% oil usage based on what had been used and what was missing! Phew! In the end, it is totally worth it. Thanks for the awesome video.
Thank you so much for demonstrating how to do both. I also thank you for taking your time to write everything out in the description box. That's quite generous of you!
Thank you for this brilliant recipe. I shall get straight on it. I take pepper cayenne and turmeric in the juice of a lemon every morning and it seems to do wonders for creaking joints.
Hi Terri. I’ve just come in from the garden and wish I had some of your balm recipe to hand. Hands & back really complaining!! Will be making some tomorrow when I get all the ingredients. By the way I have made a batch of your laundry liquid. Its brilliant & I love adding the scented oil. So much cheaper & safer than shop brought. Thank you so much for all your inspirational films. Blessings to you. Naomi x
Good evening Terri, great informative video, I use Turmeric teas, I feel there is so much more to learn from you always a pleasure to see your garden and beautiful Ireland country. Hugs and Blessings to you & Lol. 💚🌹
I started making salves a few years ago and I absolutely love it, it is so easy and saves so much money. Thank you for sharing this one I have made cayenne salve before and love it. Such amazing healing power!
Perfect timing. I am moving a lot of boxes into storage while repairs are being made from the earthquake. I get the feeling it will be used gratefully!
Sorry to hear you were affected by the earth quake and I hope all is safe now. Yes, I think this balm will help that kind of ache after moving stuff xx
You can make a roll-on by using old cardboard roll from paper towels or wrapping paper. Cut out a circle of something (waxed cardboard or foil) to put in bottom until it hardens. Then you can tear away the top like you would a crayon. Keeps your hands clean.
Thank you so much for sharing this Terri, it came at just the right time! I work as a gardener and have hurt my arm so working is hard going at the moment. I will definitely be making it this week. Blessings from Wales xx
I use disposable gloves in the kitchen when handling raw meat. I think they will work if I use them to apply the balm. That way i won't have to worry about rubbing my eyes. I've done that more than once with other salves and it isn't fun! Thanks for the recipe.
I stumbled on making this some time ago I can't agree more it's miraculous I do use coconut oil this way it will become solid and I don't strain I leave the powdered pepper in
I make different salves and infused oils. Usually, it's for someone needing something fairly quick. Depending on the need, I might add different oils or fats together (or what I have available in the kitchen)with the different herbs in a crock pot. I'm waiting now for a few to crop up so I can do a proper salve that allows it to take its time, let them all get to know each other😁
SO going to make some of this, Terri. I moved from San Diego to Olympia Washington last year. Pretty cold up here! I have Psoriatic Arthritis and refuse to take those Biologics. So I rely on balms like this to keep my pain at bay. And you are right. Buying these is SO expensive. Little product more a LOT of $$$. A batch like this would get me all through this Fall and Winter!!! Thank you so much!
Hello, i too have psoriatic arthritis, I'm on methotrexate, paracetamol, and ibruprofen so trying desperatelyto kick these drugs to the kerb. I've just made a jar of cayene balm today to help with the pain. May I ask what you do to combat the fatigue?
💖Oh, I Love the Crocus! 💜🌷We still are in the Snow/Frost state here, so no shoots yet; it is so lovely to see all the Green! I have the Tiger's Balm too 🐯It's very inexpensive where I am being close to NYC. I suppose we get a lot of Chinese imports here. 🌷💜🌶Thank You for this Cayenne Recipe! I Love the Clove, Lavender, and Peppermint Oils!🌿 🫖Blessings to You and Your Family! 💞
thank you so much dear Terri..........I will try it next week......first I must order Beewax..................Blessings and Greetings from Daggy,Kiel,Germany....xx☘☘☘
I’m new at this. Made Plantain salve the other day for first time put it on painful yellow Jacket stings yesterday!!! Best help!!! Thank you. Am now making your Cayenne pepper salve!! You’re great and I thank my God that my daughter Sharon and I found you!!!!
If I only knew how easy this was to make I would have saved myself a lot of money. Because $30 for a 2-oz jar is getting a little expensive. Thank you so so very much for sharing this and saving me money
That's an excellent addition to have in a herb remedy cabinet! Hehe - now if I can train my cat to put it on my back after I've been gardening. Will have to come up with a different plan.
I love this balm I made this a little while ago and use it for my sciatica and ankle pain works really well I will make this again thanks for sharing 🙂
Hello Terri! I've been using kunzea oil for pain, but I would give this a go for sure. Also, what a Beautiful Sunset! Beannachtai & Happy Springtime🐝❤🐦

I concur!
Thanks for the video! Can I use coffee filters to strain it?
I agree!!!❤
Totally love this one, and going to give it a definite try. Love your garden and kitchen. Hugs to your dogs. 🧡
Cayenne pepper is great for so many things. I put some in cocoa at night before bed if Im feeling cold no sugar..!
I put it in my cuppa tea in the morning 👍🏻 it's given me the lift l need without having more tea
❤Thank you SO much! I’ve had Rheumatoid Arthritis since childhood. This a a gift to find, the day after my 46th birthday!
Happy Birthday Kate - hope this helps. xx
When l was a kid we would put cayenne pepper in our boots to help ķeep our feet warm thanks
Much cheaper than the Tiger Balm that I use so sparingly. Wonderful.
And use this sparingly too - a little goes a long way. xx

It's a bit slow but some peas and radishes and garlic beginning to show. xx
I’ll never understand why people live in Antarctica 😂
How about with castor oil with Cayenne?
Is there a difference between the results from the slow method versus the warm faster method?
