Hi Carlo, please put a video on how to mix song requests, in particular what software or controllers are connected to Spotify or other libraries so you have every song at your disposal. Any recommendations or personal experience is wonderful. Thankyou for your videos, they have enabled me to play in front of 100s of people since starting off from nothing.
Carlo hearing the tip about keys and mixing in keys and showing where we can find the settings to change on rekordbox is eye opening, cheers from Nicky in London
I finally truly understand the Camelot system now!!! I just couldn't get a grasp on it as I was so used to the classical key system for mixing but Camelot is so much easier to read at a moments notice. Thanks bruv! ☘️
Cool stuff Carlo!! I finally understand how to use the camelot wheel! I've been mixing by only perfect 4ths and 5ths, and that's exactly the T method. I love that correlation!
Love your videos. Thank you for taking the time with these things. As a beginner DJ I am trying to soak up as much knowledge as possible and watching your videos has really made me feel much more prepared and confident for my upcoming gigs! Much love Carlo! 🍀🍀🍀🍀
🍀You make good and interesting DJ related content. I am getting back into mixing after 25 years. I made my living as a club DJ in Copenhagen, Denmark back in the late 80's and early 90's. My 1210's, double DVD player and records has survived, but my mixer hadn't. So I bought a DDJ-1000 and a whole new interesting world opened up. You videos give me inspiration on how to use this modern miracle 😁 Thank you and please keep making great videos.
I do aware of "keys" in mixing, but I prefer to mix "wildly" which oftenly mix not in key like a rally driver and turn off master key (just like old skool mixing) But mixing in key is very harmonic that sometimes I did
I am a Dj in the country of Trinidad and Tobago and my Dj name is (DjNew Sensation) I like your DJ tips it works good for me✌❤ DJ Carlo you are the best.
New sub here colleague greetings from Mexico!!! I used to live and DJ in Las Vegas mate! Great to learn from a guy like you, humble and very down to earth, best tool for a DJ is and always will be humility, much respect to you mi amigo, Mabuhay!!! And Salamat !!!🍀🍀🍀🇲🇽
🍀Yass!! This is DJ N1c0 N1c0s !! Im a beginning DJ trying to teach myself how to DJ! Music is my life and your videos have helped me immensely!! Thank you so much and keep it going!! Isssdope!!!!
i use the acapella's of a mix, while mixxing in another song then you could fade away remove the loop set it free and play that song and you could even get funky by setting again another song (3rd one) and loop it to the acapella section again on the 3rd song no one will noticed you made the remix live if this is done with the right songs xD so at the end u made 2 remixxes and even used the normal version of the song, which make it very cool :P
Your instructional videos helped me reinforce my decade of mixing. Though I haven't have the chance to own high end gears, these will guide me should I be able to acquire one. Mixing in key helps in mixing as each song complinents the other.
Instead of aligning track and acapella i would advice to train your ears and find the one so you can put the beatgrid to the right place. It helped me a lot. Awesome video bro !!
great videos as usual, well explained as well, as far as scratching not to sound mean but if you have zero rythymn or no back round in percussion do most of us a favor and keep the scratching to a minimum. Cheers

The most import imo is that there is such thing as phrases, most beginner djs miss this
Thanks for pointing that out!
True, but loops and hot cues and other effects make phrasing a bit less critical than in the vinyl days, in my opinion.
I'm very new, but I'm always learning something from your videos. 🍀
