Sennheiser HD 280 Pro are also very nice (and cheap) beginner headphones. Also, since they are very isolating, you can have a blast DJing without annoying your significant other.
I just want to say I love you man You just fixed an issue I’ve been trying to find ridiculous work around for months now 2 mins into your video, I know what I’m doing wrong
@Dj carlo could you tell me how I can fix my sound issue. when I'm using my DDJ 200 the music plays on both sides even when the crossfader is let's say on the left for example and vice versa when it's on the right. I would wish to have music play on the right deck when the fader is on right and left when the fader is on the left ..
@@KenyaInMyHeart sounds like you have your crossfader disabled (prob in software). Can be useful to have it disabled as it trains you to ride the volume faders for basic mixing between tracks (which most people do these days). Then you can switch it back on with a hard cut setting, if the music is a style that’s good for cutting and scratching. Maybe someone disabled the crossfader in software for you, or you did it by mistake? Alternatively you’ve set it to like the very hardest cut setting already, and the hardware isn’t sensitive enough to know when the crossfader is right over… in which case soften up the cut profile in software…
Thank you my brother! Yes. This video took forever. Been so busy tweaking it and making sure it's useful and helpful for everyone. Thanks for appreciating the hard work!!
This was right on time. I started getting bored of transitions, I got really good at looping the next song in as my thing ⭐️and drawing out the transition. thank a lot bro
For sure Mohamed! Hope you learned something new here!
Im a former Pro Dj, it seems I need to go back to the basics again now that I wanna go back to the turntables.
It's like riding a bike Braydon! Once you touch those platters, things should come back easily!
thanks helpful vid
Glad to hear it! Hope you can share the video :)
Laughed at the aoki guetta references.
Haha I’ll never get tired of trolling them
I can’t get my hands on a DDJ 400 and I want rekordbox. Should I wait til one comes up or get a DDJ 800?
Ohhhh, get an 800 if you can! It's essentially the 400 on steroids haha
Great job!
For sure! Hope you learned something new from the video!
@@djcarlo Always ;)
Another great vid Carlo!!..thanks for them! I am looking for the best DJ pool where i can get DJ versions of older dance music. Do you know which one is the best for older music?
You can try BPM Supreme! Okay use the code DJCARLO for a discount:)
I did. They had very little, although better than idjpool. I’m really surprised at how little they had of the older 80’s and 90’s dance music :(.
Now so this for hip hop music
Of of the lessons can still be applied!
Vinyl break ⭐️
Love that effect too!
If you ain’t redlining you ain’t headlining 🤣💪🏽
Haha that’s what everyone says! But that’s bad lol
Can you do a video how to use and set up rekordbox
Good suggestion! Let’s see what I can do!
Great teacher
Thanks Crank! Hope you get to use these techniques in your sets!
what set do you have - i mean what DJ software you use and control table model please, also if any cables
For this video, I'm using the DDJ 400 and Rekordbox DJ.
Wicked nice blending bro
Thanks Budda! Appreciate that!
They call him DJ Carlo because he drops that S!
Haha that’s a nice way of thinking it! Let’s go S!
Great video with Cleveland Terry who is really from LA. 😆
I hope you have your ticket for the DJX'22 in Atlantic City, NJ! It would be nice to meet you in person!
@@TumanWK Sadly, I didn't get an invite to that one, and flying all the way from South East Asia is $$$$ nowadays! Maybe next year! :D
what music service do you like better, Tidal, or Crate Connect?
Depends on what I'm going for, but Crate Connect for my personal purposes because Philippine internet isn't too great. At least, with record pools, the songs are already with me
