One of the best cases fans look at is the Pekoms fishMan island quote about Logia. I can't remember the Sabo special in it's entirety but from understanding Sabo was confident enough to go to dressrosa and take the fruit. To me that implied that he knew he may have had to face off Doflamingo. The downside of ace is that we don't have much battles against high calibers to go off. I feel Ace ap would definitely be higher then Doflamingo but I would argue him and Sabo stood the same chance even with the latter not having his fruit yet..
