Regarding Bege, the baked goods would be absolutely amazing. Historically, mafia fronts which served as restaurants were absolutely fantastic. They are the best pizza places in the entirety of the downtown. The core reason is that the boss doesn’t want to eat a bad pizza while he is in the back doing whatever. They would hire the absolute best chefs and buy the top of the line ingredients. So I guarantee, Bege would not disappoint.
It isn't just that. Maffia heavily rely on integrating themselves in the community and having a positive front to hide their activities. So running a restaurant well, having it well decorated and serving good food so people have a very positive experience is kind of the best way to do that. It's basically a way to bribe the community in a completely legal way that doesn't raise any eyebrows.

I could honestly see Usopp being an amazing cake Artist. You know, the ones with the fancy flowers or the ones from Cake Boss where they’re highly detailed works of art.

I would have personally put Mihawk at the very top, just for one simple reason. To me, Mihawk is the sort of person that, if he chooses to dedicate himself to something, he will do everything in his power to be the best, just like Zoro. Putting Big Mom's theoretical bakery under "eh" should be a crime. She would have the highest standards for what is served at her bakeries. Otherwise she would just murder the chefs. She's also has access to some of the best chefs in the world. Her bakery would be at the highest tier, no doubt.

This is a very good point, and an interesting idea. But I have questions. Is the mochi coming from Katakuri himself? Is that considered cannibalism? Would *you* eat mochi that came from the body of a person? Would the mochi taste like whatever food Katakuri ate that day? Would it have a weird flavor at all? So. Many. Questions. His future sight would be hella helpful, good catch. I'm kinda hoping Tekking brings any of this up in his future Pt. 2.
@@ANite-vx1vk We did see Luffy eat his Mochi so at the very least it's fine to eat, granted Luffy can eat food that tastes like shit and it will still be good to him, so we can't exactly gauge the quality. I don't think the ethical concerns of cannibalism really matter as he can detatch the mochi from his main body, and even turn his surroundings into Mochi. There definitely needs to be a part 2 just off the back of him not having Katakuri, and overlooking several key aspects that would make his bakery elite.

I could picture Chopper doing good at baking since he's great with chemistry (medical chemistry yes but chemistry none the less) and what is baking/cooking but chemistry you're supposed to eat. Fun list, and I mostly agree, bu man...I knew you wouldn't do Luffy right. Tekking...what is Luffy's most impressive/dangerous ability according to Mihawk? You go hard with some of these characters by exploring all of their abilities, but skimp on some others. Luffy wouldn't bake himself. Between his good intentions, attitude and ESPECIALLY his charisma, he would gather a gang of extremely talented bakers who dreamed of creating the most delicious treats, but couldn't because of something holding them back. And then, Luffy's attitude, despite his inability to bake himself, would inspire them to break off their chains, and join him in creating the absolute best bakery in the world, with him as the manager that it's there mostly because he inspires them. And probably as a sort of security in case they ever got some unsavory clients trying to start trouble.
Kizaru’s Light Speed Baking Delivery He doesn’t MAKE the cakes, but he DELIVERS them using his Devil Fruit. He could be selling regular store-bought sweets, but imagine the business of “want a cake? $30 and a good cake will be at your door in 10 minutes, guaranteed. But don’t just talk to us, talk to our owner!” “Eeeeeeeeeh…. I’ll deliver you dessert before you can say…. Eeeer… what was it again..?”
I imagine Eneru wouldn’t start his own Bakery, it’s just he gets his ass kicked by Luffy again, or maybe just Jinbe, having no context who he is, smacks him down, and he’s forced to work in Conis’ Cafe.
A counter for Magellan's bakery! It could be a specialty bakery where thrill seekers come to enjoy baked goods. Magellan could have antidotes on standby and market it to where it's a bakery where you have a chance of dying. It would be like eating that specific pufferfish whose venom kills entire elephants and there are no known antitodes. Magellan would make it taste good and will upfront tell people what venom they are eating.
Sounds like an interesting idea. For some sweets, they could be flavored with Tonka beans, a plant with similar notes to vanilla but can prove highly toxic if consumed in high volumes.
I think Leo would have a huge problem with the bakery: he (like all tontatta) is way too naive. Almost every person he gets his ingredients from would screw him over without him noticing.

A thing to note about kuma, ingredients change a lot depending on where you are, so especially with something as delicate as baking, following a recipe to a t might work to his disadvantage

Honestly, I feel like Sanji might lose points for me. He'd make phenomenal food, sure, but ultimately it's a one man shop, which will limit his abilities considerably. Eventually he'll get popular enough that he won't be able to help everyone alone, and he can't just find someone who can match him. So he would have the best food, but not necessarily the best bakery simply because he can't logistical do everything himself. Also, I feel like you undersold CP-9. Particularly if you assume that all of CP-9 is working there (like you said Kaku on register). They went from basic knowledge of shipbuilding to Dock 1 at the shipbuilding holy land in two years for a job. If they were determined to make a bakery and came at it from the same position, no question, they're "the best".
Why would Sanji be alone? He's worked in a restaurant most of his life. He accepted help from the Totland chefs. It isn't like he's against collaboration.
Even so i dont think anyone on this list would do bettee than sanji, and he do work with ither chef sometime so if he need help he will go seach it to make sure the food stay at the best it possibly can
@@andrewdevita629 it isn't so much that he's alone, moreso that anyone he has to help him won't really be up to his level. Random chef or assistant chefs that he hires won't be able to do the same that he does. Like sure, he can deal with the high value catering jobs and let other chefs handle day to day operations under his supervision, but that's still a step down in quality from 'Sanji does everything himself'. Not bad by any means, but one chef can't do high volume alone, particularly not while going for the highest quality. It would still be top tier, but not in a league of its own.
The fact that Zef isn't here annoys me but thats understandable since he runs a restaurant. Also i disagree with ceaser. I'd say hes possibly one of the best. Heres why. The dude has had so much shit happen to him lately that he probably got tired of the weapon business so instead he opens a bakery. If Cesar was serious about having a successful bakery, I think it would be amazing. Baking is more chemistry than other forms of cooking.
I don't think it would've been good. A chemist does not study tastes, which are less scientific properties of things. But for sure he could've made it as, or even more, addictive than the Semla candies.

I would have personally put Mihawk at the very top, just for one simple reason. To me, Mihawk is the sort of person that, if he chooses to dedicate himself to something, he will do everything in his power to be the best, just like Zoro. Absolutely criminal that you discussed Bege without mentioning his wife, a literal Baker... Also no Katakuri? This is a very good point, and an interesting idea. But I have questions. Is the mochi coming from Katakuri himself? Is that considered cannibalism? Would *you* eat mochi that came from the body of a person? Would the mochi taste like whatever food Katakuri ate that day? Would it have a weird flavor at all? So. Many. Questions.

@@ANite-vx1vk We did see Luffy eat his Mochi so at the very least it's fine to eat, granted Luffy can eat food that tastes like shit and it will still be good to him, so we can't exactly gauge the quality. I don't think the ethical concerns of cannibalism really matter as he can detatch the mochi from his main body, and even turn his surroundings into Mochi. There definitely needs to be a part 2 just off the back of him not having Katakuri, and overlooking several key aspects that would make his bakery elite.

I could picture Chopper doing good at baking since he's great with chemistry (medical chemistry yes but chemistry none the less) and what is baking/cooking but chemistry you're supposed to eat. Plus I imagine he could give people quick health checkups if they asked and maybe figure out what the healthiest choice for them would be to recommend. Fun list, and I mostly agree, bu man...I knew you wouldn't do Luffy right. Tekking...what is Luffy's most impressive/dangerous ability according to Mihawk? You go hard with some of these characters by exploring all of their abilities, but skimp on some others.
Luffy wouldn't bake himself. Between his good intentions, attitude and ESPECIALLY his charisma, he would gather a gang of extremely talented bakers who dreamed of creating the most delicious treats, but couldn't because of something holding them back.
And then, Luffy's attitude, despite his inability to bake himself, would inspire them to break off their chains, and join him in creating the absolute best bakery in the world, with him as the manager that it's there mostly because he inspires them. And probably as a sort of security in case they ever got some unsavory clients trying to start trouble.

A counter for Magellan's bakery!
It could be a specialty bakery where thrill seekers come to enjoy baked goods. Magellan could have antidotes on standby and market it to where it's a bakery where you have a chance of dying. It would be like eating that specific pufferfish whose venom kills entire elephants and there are no known antitodes. Magellan would make it taste good and will upfront tell people what venom they are eating.
Sounds like an interesting idea. For some sweets, they could be flavored with Tonka beans, a plant with similar notes to vanilla but can prove highly toxic if consumed in high volumes.

A thing to note about kuma, ingredients change a lot depending on where you are, so especially with something as delicate as baking, following a recipe to a t might work to his disadvantage

Honestly, I feel like Sanji might lose points for me. He'd make phenomenal food, sure, but ultimately it's a one man shop, which will limit his abilities considerably. Eventually he'll get popular enough that he won't be able to help everyone alone, and he can't just find someone who can match him. So he would have the best food, but not necessarily the best bakery simply because he can't logistical do everything himself.
Also, I feel like you undersold CP-9. Particularly if you assume that all of CP-9 is working there (like you said Kaku on register). They went from basic knowledge of shipbuilding to Dock 1 at the shipbuilding holy land in two years for a job. If they were determined to make a bakery and came at it from the same position, no question, they're "the best".

Why would Sanji be alone? He's worked in a restaurant most of his life. He accepted help from the Totland chefs. It isn't like he's against collaboration.
Even so i dont think anyone on this list would do bettee than sanji, and he do work with ither chef sometime so if he need help he will go seach it to make sure the food stay at the best it possibly can
@@andrewdevita629 it isn't so much that he's alone, moreso that anyone he has to help him won't really be up to his level. Random chef or assistant chefs that he hires won't be able to do the same that he does. Like sure, he can deal with the high value catering jobs and let other chefs handle day to day operations under his supervision, but that's still a step down in quality from 'Sanji does everything himself'. Not bad by any means, but one chef can't do high volume alone, particularly not while going for the highest quality. It would still be top tier, but not in a league of its own.

The fact that Zef isn't here annoys me but thats understandable since he runs a restaurant. Also i disagree with ceaser. I'd say hes possibly one of the best. Heres why. The dude has had so much shit happen to him lately that he probably got tired of the weapon business so instead he opens a bakery. Have you seen those videos of people cooking with Bunsen burners and liquid nitrogen? Thats amazing. He would be making stuff like instant freezing ice cream cakes and weird sciency pastries with impossible looking fillings.
