- This shows how to use the latest version of Cesium 2.0 Unreal Engine plugin and google earth and NOT use the API.
Photorealistic 3D tiles is now built into Cesium and you do not yes you do not need a google account, there are lots of other changes so get creating!

After watching the previous video, activating Google Cloud service, adding a credit card and starting with the APIs method I noticed, too late, the comment with the new video and the new method :D, so I rolled back everything and used this method.

So, what are the updated/new features of the Cesium v2.0 besides the Google Photogrammetry Asset now "embedded" in ION? Is it using the Reality tiler (for better performance(?)) already, for me, it's not clear really. I know this is not about the new v2.0 features, I'm just curious. Also, I'm struggling with poor tile loading performance...while in VR.

Hello there doesnt seem to be much information about rendering setting for sequencer on here. I got this part of the tutorial working. I got everything in editor working but as soon as I go to render none of the tilesets are rendering. I am using 5.3.2 . I have rendered static shots in the past with no issue by adding warm up frames in the Render queue settings do you have any idea how to fix this? Thanks
Hello, Thank you for making this. I have been following all your tutorials and they are great. I have an issue and that is when I only get a 2d representation of the map and no 3d tiles. I dont understand why. is there something im doing wrong ? please help
Check Google maps on Web and see if that area exists as 3d as not all areas have 3d tiles !

Unfortunately, my map or terrain doesn't load at all, though it shows the actor in the outliner
the only important thing to know is that if satelite images are poor you will not even have a buildings, not to mention other details, only larger cities are kinda good

Why countries from Asia not loading? just a black screen, but when i load a place from europe it works. does the plugin only limit to europe and usa? or I did something wrong? T_T
Do you ever try to package program with CESIUM plugin? I try it and always got long time waiting or Error.
I use Unreal Engine 5.3 and CESIUM 2.4.
Does this mean we no longer need to pay for use of the tiles? In the past once a threashold of use of tiles had been reached they would begin charging

when i input coordinate in my country it doesnt appear. does it mean it only show only specific place? (im from indonesia)
Check Google maps on Internet first and see if there is any geometry for your area, if its flat, then likely there isn't
is it possible to export a tile from unreal with textures? or even to have the resolution bake into so it doesn't have to be online?
The data still belongs to Google, and is very large, there is no way to keep this data afaik
there is another app that allows you to take tiles and export them as obj or FBX with textures

When you release a game/project the Cesium require from you to make a paid Google Maps Api Key.
Can i import a REvit building model into Cesium which has the google 3d maps loaded into the cesium file? My ultimate goal is to put my Revit model into or on a 3d map.
In simple terms yes, you can use datasmith or convert to a file format that unreal likes.
Buildings in my project are completely flat, is there any option i have to enable ?
probably no photogrammetry in that region, you may have to 3d model building yourself and put them down.

LITERALLY WHY ISN'T IT WORKING
I followed the tutorial in every way but when i went to the coordinates i needed everything was a flat satelite image and the buildings were just some squares with colour. I waited for like 5 minutes and nothing happened. Is the problem from cesium or from google maps???????!!!!!!!!!
Check the location on Google maps in a browser, only some of it is 3d
