As a sexy (lol who am I kidding) I can also appreciate this tune and I think it is completely ridiculous that superficial appearance determines whether or not someone chooses to interact with you when it should not be used to as an indicator of someone's character. The concept of 'ugliness' only exists because of media's fixation of ideal standards of beauty that the masses have accepted and deemed 'beautiful'. In other words beauty doesn't exist nor does ugliness just do yourself with no shame besides why go through life wishing you could look different rather just accept how you look and rock the fuck out of it, no one gives a shit anyway.

@@BassByTheBay I agree it's really funky, but imo Louis' bassline is much more harmonically complex. I'm working on it and just by trying to play it on the keyboard you can notice many different under basslines that create a much more 3 dimentional groovy feeling than the single one. It's creazy juicy and really hard to assemble!

I've been eyeballing Knower for 2 years now and only recently had I listened to your Time album. I'm usually not into this kind of music, I like classic rock and metal, but this stuff man. You're a genius. You're solo music and Knower have really changed my life and because of y'all and Persona 5 I've been getting into the jazz fusion stuff along with the house genre. I truly believe it's a shame you and Genevieve don't have such a strong and huge following because everything you make is just so unique and original. Something missing in today's mainstream music.

Everyone in this video is also well established in the jazz/indie soul scene (Louis also has the Moonchild guys and some of the Snarky Puppy guys etc.) People in the arts especially if they are gonna be in a promotional video have their own style/make up artists on set, and they have the talent to primp/perform well without mistakes, have stage presence etc.@@NotFine

It can mean someone who's not conventionally attractive/unappealing to look at/in more discriminatory unfair ways someone who's deformed etc. Or it could be someone who's annoying/uncomfortable/anxious/boring/stupid etc. None of the performers in this video are that, and the song is meant as an artistic message, saying you're special in your own way etc. These are talented musicians, who have performed in front of people several times, so his/j_wah original point was not needed, and he didn't need to add that, which is what I'm trying to say. @@NotFine
