I discovered Louis through UA-cam music while driving. This was the first song I listened to. I think I repeated it 8 times, imagining what kind of VSTs and plugins he was using, especially the orchestra. I was enjoying it and pretty sure it was all digital, made using a DAW. And then I watched this video... mind blowing lol
I wish I could watch this video for the first time again, and get the full band surprise! Also the "yeah" choir might seem corny at first, but that one note is actually what holds it all together!
Haha yes, it's FX. Louis Cole loves those... notice the keyboard is "M-Kay" at the beginning of the video :P In their other live videos, some phones will randomly get a call from Mom, someone will be wearing two pairs of sunglasses... they're everywhere. Nice catch though, lol
Please, please put this (and all of these live sessions as well as Knower's) on Spotify! These have so much more energy than the album version. Overtime is probably my favourite sesh!
Jesus Christ... IMO: Everything about this song is truly original, unique, and has never been done before. Most of the time, on endeavors such as this, the vast majority of art just doesn't work out and artists tend to drift back to "what everybody else is going" average mean. But this guy seems to have created an everlasting masterpiece which'll be hard to top due to the sheer creative elements factor set to infinity ♾️

Did it make the weird part of your night? Maybe between 3 and 6am?
@@manwithllama i want someone to be as happy with me as this guy is of the OP for using the word plaza
Dirty Mustard Seek ye first not the world’s approval, but instead, the copious use of the word “plaza”.

Adam K. Hamilton not midnight, not sunrise
Ok. Finally there's enough love for the world to be saved.
The world's most overqualified tambourine and cowbell musician right here folks.
nate wood on cowbell, no ??
percussionist?
I didn't recognize him until the very end, yes indeed.
He has the sauce
He could probably play all the instruments featured in this video.
I’m in a dark spot in life right now, just a total shitshow of terrible things, and this song is keeping me going. It gives me the optimism that fucking up is part of life. So thank you for putting it out into the world.
Listening to Louis Cole makes me happy to be alive
I discovered Louis through UA-cam music while driving. This was the first song I listened to. I think I repeated it 8 times, imagining what kind of VSTs and plugins he was using, especially the orchestra. I was enjoying it and pretty sure it was all digital, made using a DAW.
And then I watched this video...
mind blowing lol
This is one of my favorite videos on UA-cam I watched this so many times
I wish I could watch this video for the first time again, and get the full band surprise! Also the "yeah" choir might seem corny at first, but that one note is actually what holds it all together!
I honestly would love to hear Louis Cole and the group to do a rendition of Cowboy Bebops theme. This would be amazing if he could do this.
Bad Dog No Biscuit
Weebs must unite for this course.
Tank! :D 3, 2, 1... let's go
One of the people who could have fun with that one.
@@davidbonar5190 Let's jam*
3:01 --> Suddenly, watching porn was more interesting than filming the band playing. This "beekeeper cameraman" is truly fascinating. I love you guys.
yo source?
XD didn't notice that, it is a digital post FX, but great easter egg XD
Haha yes, it's FX. Louis Cole loves those... notice the keyboard is "M-Kay" at the beginning of the video :P In their other live videos, some phones will randomly get a call from Mom, someone will be wearing two pairs of sunglasses... they're everywhere.
Nice catch though, lol
@@indigoHatter 1:42 Pc DAW error.
@@indigoHatter 2:33 A quick rat
there's utter chaos in this house and its mesmerizing
This song brings me immeasurable joy.
Synth and bass absolutely shredding the 🅱️assline at 3:50! Instant nut.
Please, please put this (and all of these live sessions as well as Knower's) on Spotify! These have so much more energy than the album version. Overtime is probably my favourite sesh!
Our prayers have been answered! Thank you so much! You guys are amazing!
2 quotes from rite of spring! 2:43 and 3:44
Ok good, so I'm not the only one who noticed that
@@Kidynamo123 haha me too
I thought it was pretty obvious when they put Igor's little pouty face on the screen (AKA the reason I love this guy so much)
Also "You'll Believe Me" from Album 2 quotes a big chunk of Chopin's Etude n.2 in A flat! Good luck getting it approved in whosampled...
