- 👋 Here is the all new 4th generation Toyota Tacoma! Today we check out the new 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road to see what this new midsized truck has to offer! Here at Overland East we are here with Toyota to bring you a close up look at the newest Tacoma! The new 2024 Tacoma TRD Off Road packs some awesome features! The i-force Max hybrid 4 cylinder turbo engine is available and you can also get a standard turbo 4 cylinder. The exterior style of the new Tacoma looks great! Much more bold and aggressive and I love how it looks like a mini Tundra. Carrying over a ton of new Toyota styling this 2024 Tacoma looks perfect! The interior of the 2024 Tacoma is a huge step up too! Modern technology with a big infotainment screen and gauge cluster screen. The seats have a very cool leather material with contrast accents. And the driver seat now goes up and down for much more comfort. I like how simple the Tacoma still is to use the electronics but it also looks up to date. The exhaust sound on this i-force max hybrid 2024 Tacoma even has somewhat of a beefy tone! The TRD Off Road features 4 wheel drive, CRAWl Control, locking rear differential and even front swaybar disconnect! The front axle uses torque vectoring to continue to maximize traction and the new 2024 Tacoma TRD Off Road can tow over 6,000 pounds! I think Toyota nailed it with the new Tacoma and the 2024 Tacoma TRD Off Road is the perfect trim to build your off road focused tacoma your way! Excited to add one to the garage very soon! In this video, we'll take a look at the 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road, starting up, revving the exhaust, going for a walkaround, and getting inside to review the interior. If you're in the market for a rugged and versatile truck, then the Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road is a great choice. In this video, we'll give you a walkaround, overview and review of this truck's features and specifications. We'll also show you how to start it up and inspect the exhaust!

The perfect Taco. Can’t wait for Toyota to do direct to consumer sales, like they promised
What’s “direct to consumer sales” mean?
It means no more dealership mark up
You buy the vehicle directly from Toyota rather than a dealership
Like tesla and rivian
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Like how Tesla sells cars. You buy off their website and they deliver it to you directly instead of buying from a dealership
@@StarInfinite00wow they really doing that? Does this mean you can’t finance then?
@@kizzyGotiT You can 100% finance. Use your own financing if you'd like.
This is the first truck that I can see myself owning in the future
It’s super nice for sure!
I must say this is the best vehicle overview I have ever watched. Normally it’s a 14-40 min video with no easy breakdown of what people are looking for the in the vehicle. This guy is just straight forward and moving. I had to pause at times or go back because he was so fast and straight to the point I love it. Thank you for not wasting my time at all. I’m subscribed now and will literately watch any other vehicle reviews just because of how professional and to the point you are.
We really appreciate that! We definitely have a lot of reviews to check out on multiple brands! Thank you for the support!
Dude great video. I can’t stand some folks reviewing, but you do a good job. Keep it up!
I appreciate that!
Great video very informative, I have a question about the i-force max, the battery is under the rear seat, will the interior be hotter? No one has mentioned anything about it. Thanks
I aint gone lie, it sounds amazing 😮.
Not bad for this engine that's for sure!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed yes, it’s very clean sounding. Im curious to see how it will do on the market. Us hawaiians, we don’t care if its a new or old Generation tacomas, but we sure like something if its capable for sand and mountain terrain 🤙🏽.
Great vid, and so glad you jumped in the back seat to show leg spacing. I intend on getting the new Taco but torn between the Pro, Off Road, and Sport once the i-force Max is out for all of them.
I’d like to see a Sport to compare to the Offroad! All going to be good options!
Awesome truck bro!
It sure is!
This looks really good
For sure! Love the new style
This Taco pops man! We're all anxious to see your next one, the trim level, color, the whole nine. Toyota hit a grand slam with this redesign!
I’m just as excited!!! We’ll see what will work best!
The rear door ruined it from being a perfect 10 out of 10 on exterior design.
@@chrisx5127How so??
I really hope they go for 30k only because that's all I have
@@tv-21 There’s six different trim levels so one of them should be around that!
Great review, thank you!
No look under the rear seat?
Where does a guy store a jug if washer fluid, jumper cables, etc??
That’s where the hybrid system is, I mentioned that. No storage under the seat with the hybrid.
This truck is beautiful.. just sold my 2018, im just waiting for this one 💪🏽💪🏽
Me too! I can't wait to get one!
I have a generous down payment on the 2024 Taco off-road, want the sunroof 4X4. Will replace tires for 285-70-18 tires.
I'm leaning more towards the Sport MT since I don't really do much off-roading, but the OR looks like a great option for those who do.
That would be a fun spec! Hopefully once these can be driven we can film a ton of specs!
What package is the ‘view button’ included in? Or is it standard on the offroad
Fast forward 4 months. "Collection Day for my Toyota Tacoma" LoL
Hopefully! Really love all the improvements!
I’ll definitely be buying one thanks for all the updates Toyota and listening to your consumers! I just hope this motor is as bulletproof as previous gens! I can’t wait to see what tuning software they come out with for it.
We talked with the Toyota engineers. Sounds like they really have put this engine to the test. They talked about in testing, they basically run it at a much higher boost setting for an astronomically long time above its limits. So I'm sure it will be solid!
No. It’s a turbo. It won’t be.
@@gburcaw After several decades of it being used and no problems, sounds like it’s reliable to me, going off facts.
I just want the builder to come out, idc if it has prices i just wanna play with the looks and see more!
Should be closer to the end of the year for that!
Theyseem to have fixed the driving position. That was the only reason I haven't bought one. I will definitely check them out
I was holding out to get the redesign 4Runner for my first Toyota but the wait has been to long for it now I am looking at the taco 2024 trd off road premium
I think 2025 we'll see the new 4runner! Cant wait! New Tacoma is awesome for sure!
Was about to pull the trigger on a 23 taco but I think it’s worth waiting for this bad boy
Yeah this is sweet! Definitely worth buying!
I’d wait. New models always have issues. The first and second wave buyers are the beta testers. Look at the tundra for comparison. Even gen 3 Tacoma had issues for first two years.
@@AntilleanConfederation That’s not true, much older vehicles did but with modern tech, sure maybe a few things could arise, but nothing mechanical and no where near what it used to be.
That stereotype isn’t true. It’s not even new tech, just in the Tacoma now.
I owned a 2017 Tacoma, zero issues in the 50K miles I owned it!
The tundra didn’t even have mechanical problems, it was a computer reset that took 5 minutes to fix.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I would advise you to go check some actual mechanics who work on them on a daily basis. The car care nut channel is excellent for Toyota breakdown and reliability concerns from a actual mechanic who has the experience
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I would advise you to go check some actual mechanics who work on them on a daily basis. The car care nut channel is excellent for Toyota breakdown and reliability concerns from a actual mechanic who has the experience
Does the driver's seat feel more upright? More like chair seating? Also, is the remote fuel door access only on the hybrid? I noticed the non hybrid seem to be using the old finger pull notch in the fuel door.
The seat now has movements up and down. Lots of adjustments to get comfortable for sure! The 3 Tacomas we checked out all had locking doors with the button. It sure if lower trims will have the manual door or not
Startn to sway this way, was really interested in the new zr2 Colorado, but now not so sure. Glad I waited. I think these are gonna be awesome. Not sure about the hybrid aspect, but I guess time will tell.
New ZR2 is a great truck! Same with the AT4X. But the new Tacoma will probably continue to outsell. Definitely going to be a great truck! Excited to buy it!
A chevy product 😂
I’m coming all the way from a 2nd gen , didn’t like the 3rd gen that much but I’m definitely buying this spec or even the TRD PRO
Very cool!! It's a sweet truck for sure!
Is the force max an option? How about the big screen , the auto tailgate and the sunroof? Are these extra packages on the badi. Off-road model?
Hybrid is an optional engine. Standard engine for the Off Road is a turbocharged 4 cylinder. I think those will be in a premium package. Configurator should be live on Toyota now
I’m really hoping that it’s gonna be more of a hybrid than the tundra was. The power in this thing is astonishing. Once pre orders become available im placing my order
What do you mean, “more of a hybrid”?
It’s basically the same electric motor and battery lol. It is probably more noticeable in the smaller truck
Goodbye Gladiator, hello Tacoma 😍😍😍
Oh yeah! This truck is super cool!
I’m currently leasing a 2022, which I was going to buy at the end, but damn these 2024s are nice! Might have to just buy a 2024.
Yeah these are definitely a good truck! You'll get good money fr your 2022 tho!
Yeah but expect to pay a premium on the new Taco when it comes out, unless you get on the waiting list now and know for a fact that the dealer doesn’t mark up.
@@jml9550 yeah, just go with a reputable dealer that actually wants great business.
Like all the time...
What’s that mean?
@@BrosFOURRSpeedlike all the time... Thats my own sentence thats mean as always bros four speed.
Does it have buttons built in for garage door opener programming?
I can't remember on this. But its also a pre-production. I would assume it will have them
Great video of the '24 iforce trd offroad! Question: are we going to be able to run the 2400 watt inverter like a generator? Will be a game-changer for camping not needing to bring a generator! Thanks!
I'm not sure of the duration using the outlet! That's a good question though! I know it was an upgrade from the 400 watt that's on other lower trim levels, so it should either power more equipment in general, or last longer. Hopefully there's more info on that soon!
@BrosFOURRSpeed yes! The 2400 watt inverter will come with the iforcemax equipped Tacomas/Land Cruisers!
Ford F150 has a system called ProPower On Board that works as a generator that can even power a house! Hopefully Toyota will allow the system to run as long as there is gas in the tank!
@BrosFOURRSpeed yes! 🤞 fingers crossed that it can work like a portable generator
@BuRNingFLaN wow so that means I can live rent free in a new tacoma
do you happen to know the ground clearance for the off road vs the sport?
I dont! I haven’t seen a sport model yet.
If they can keep this trim competitive with TRD Pro that be great
We'll see! The TRD Pro should be more expensive! It has a lot more that's not offered in the Offroad model.
Is this a regular cab truck? Why the back doors windows look shorter than the 2023
Yeah this is a normal “crew cab”! Could just be the look of it, but seems very similar!
So i guess my 3rd gen LEER XQ100 canopy or any recent ones, won't fit new Taco, because of that roof spoiler in the back, right? Another $2-5K on top of MSRP... sucks
Probably not, but I'm sure you can sell it for what you paid and just do an even swap into a new one.
If only they had the drop down rear window like the Tundra
I was really hoping for that too!
Yes a sunglasses holder and ventilated seats. Sign me up.
Nice features to have for sure!
@@BrosFOURRSpeeddoes it have the universal garage door opener?
@@sammyjammy6647 I'm pretty sure I remember seeing it on the sun visor. Or it could be in the screen of the rearview mirror
Already did but your broke.
does it have a heads up display?
I honestly don't remember. I think so! With the adaptive cruise, I feel like it should have the HUD to show that.
I've almost buy a gen 3 taco, but it does not have the ventilatied seats, and now my wait is worth it!
It has a lot of features I wish my 3rd gen had! Can’t wait!
You're sacrificing reliability/durability for nice seats.
@@m.687 how’d you come up with that?? Not true at all..
I would like to see a TRD Off Road Access cab 4x4. Not sure if I could get my dirt bike in the bed of the 4 door.
With the tailgate down I could fit both my dirtbikes or both my motorbikes in my 17 offroad, 4 door.
I one a 3rd gen Taco and 2nd Gen Tundra and I'm telling everyone that that 4 banger is growing on me, might get a 4Runner in a few years after they work the bugs out.
Yeah I think this new engine is pretty good. We've driven the new Tacoma now and it drives really nice! Excited for the new 4runner too!
I wonder how long my 23' 3rd gen will hold its value after these become available....as much as I love the 3rd gen, these are quickly growing on me.
I think it’ll hold value well. A lot of people want the V6 so it should be good!
Ya I just bailed on a 2023 I had put down a deposit but got it back. I have to go with the newer truck as much as I was trying to buy into the realibility bla bla bla.The gas milage was crap and the new ones should have a significant improvment
Well people who got car loans before recent rise in interest rates, are probably paying less than 3%. Nowadays you have to pay 7-8% and you know the new one will be more expensive and demand means dealer adds market adjustment.
@@paulm6481 Toyotas plan is to have these readily available on lots so let’s hope that’s the case
Is the TRD OR going to be available with the 6 foot bed?
I would assume so since the 3rd gen had it!
nice review, looking at midsize next year. What is going to be the approximate cost for the Off-Road.
We didn’t get any pricing yet! That should be coming in a few months. I’m hoping the offroad will be in the $40K, but we’ll see.
Thank you so much, want to make sure I get the hybrid 4 with Iforce Max @@BrosFOURRSpeed great job btw, to me more excited for my new toy to come!
@@BrosFOURRSpeedAin’t no way. Friend of mine works for Toyota. These will be mid $40’s if you can avoid crazy markup.
@@onefastr6 That’s what I said lol…but people need to stop thinking everything has a markup! I’m buying mine for MSRP.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Well I don’t spit out content on a UA-cam channel, so I’ll be paying MSRP + markup with the rest of the common folk I guess. 🤷♂️
I reserved one of these back in July and recently requested a return on my deposit. Going with Cybertruck instead. This would have been an awesome truck to buy 5 years ago. But in 2023/2024 I feel like gas prices are too high and only getting higher and EV charging is now easy and only getting easier. The Cybertruck will cost more but save me a lot long-term on fuel and maintenance costs. Plus when I'm camping I'll have a huge battery for heating, cooling and power. Oh, and don't forget the 16" ground clearance of the Cybertruck. This is a great truck....just wrong time. Sadly Toyota, GM and Ford should have been building hybrid trucks like this 10 years ago. (womp womp)
Who made you put down a deposit? I don’t know anyone who has done that, Toyota doesn’t take deposits so that’s weird.
Good luck with that since it was promised over 3 years ago and still nothing.
I wouldn’t agree with EV, it’s a fade that won’t last. The infrastructure for charging stations will never be enough. What happens when that battery dies? Will cost more than a brand new Tacoma lol
Hybrid tech has been around for a while but this is what’s happening now.
Lmaooo. I hope you like hot fires!! Also don’t go near water with your electric crap. Unless you want to become human BBQ. 🍗
This must be satire. If not, best of luck to you and make sure to carry a gas generator when you go on your camping trips. Gas prices have been steadily going down and are quite affordable right now. Are you sure you actually drive a vehicle currently in the US?
Ill keep my 3rd gen. Do g lke the sound of the 4th gen.
It’s not bad, we’ll see what an upgraded exhaust sounds like with it at some point!
Fingers crossed that toyota prices these similar to the 3rd gens, i know this is a forlorned hope, and they are likely gonna go for the same price as the new tundras, but dammit i gotta try.
I don't think it'll cost Tundra money, but we'll see!
So excited for this. I'll wait 2 years for the kinks to get worked out
What kinks?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed same ones all new Toyota models have lol. 16-18 tacomas had ton of issues. I waited till 21 to get mine
@@AntilleanConfederation I had a 2017, zero issues, not one with that truck. Never heard of any with them mechanically at all!
how will this fare with overlanding? I feel very uneasy taking a hybrid through a watercrossing.
Waiting on the MSRP to see which model I'm gonna purchase, I like the Pro.
It should do just fine. Toyota has been doing hybrids for over 20 years. I'm pretty sure its waterproof lol
Hopefully in the next month or so
It looks like all of the hybrid electrical is mounted up high.
What do you think about the new shock absorbing seats?
We have a video coming soon on the TRD Pro. Pretty cool! Even just sitting still you can see them move around a bit! Cool tech!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Make sense thanks. Can't wait to see the new video!
It'll be up this week!@@karlk.6819
This will look beautiful if the truck color was all black 👌
Personal preference depending on what you like.
I'm thinking about trading in my lexus es 2022 for this truck 😅
It’s going to be a fun truck!
Would love someone to tell us some base prices for each model ??
We won’t know for a few months! That hasn’t been released yet.
How do the ventilated seats feel ?
We didn’t test them. But should feel like any ventilated seat! Toyota has that in other models and they work well.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thanks !
How do you order one. They don't have a factory order system like other manufacturers do
Find a dealer that doesn’t mark up and put a deposit down to get in line
I’m in line 😊
You’ll have to work with a dealer and get on a list!
That’s what I’m doing!
Great vehicle. I would not call the second row spacious though lol.
It’s a little more than my 3rd gen, but it’s not a full size so it’s to be expected for the size.
So glad there’s no hood scoop
The offroad never had one lol, that’s the sport and pro which do! They look good too!
I ordered my TRD off road early Feb. Arrived and picked it up 23 Mar. Drove it home and the next day it would not crank and start. The dealership came and got it and apparently there is a short somewhere that is draining the battery. They are trying to isolate it. They've had it a week now and it's not fixed. Not sure I made the right decision on buying this truck!
I’m sure they’ll get it fixed soon. I have a friend with 4K miles on his already and zero problems, so should just be a minor fluke.
Mixed thoughts on this gen. Dont love the spoiler and rear-ended look of the backend. Tundra-style pinched fenders are going to make it harder to clear bigger tires. Console also looks like really bulky and not knee friendly (similar to the Frontier). 2.4 8 speed should be a nice powertrain though. Ready for someone to finally drive this thing.
It might grow on you in person. Seemed really nicely done checking it out and proportions looked good. Looked like there was a lot of clearance for the stock tires, so I'm sure even 35s could fit. We'll have to see at they hit the road
Does it have remote start on the key fob?
It did not. However it could one where you hit the unlock 3 times or something. We'll have to see when the production model comes out if it has it
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Thanks. I just sold my 2020 GMC SIERRA preparing to buy a new Tacoma. I used it all the time on my GMC. Hopefully it has it as an option.
Yeah hope so! There are aftermarket kits you can install. I had one on my last Tacoma
Why are the turn signals not LED? Seems like a down grade from the 3rd gen LED sequential turn signal.
It is a pre production model so I’m sure that will be changed!
When will it be on for sale ??
They should hit dealers end of this year!
Yea, those are delayed a bit!@@2011buddylee
I'd sure like to see one of these with a lift option and bigger tires put on.
I'll be doing that with mine for sure!! Can't with to see it that way either!
So it’s a 4th gen truck, with no rear ac vents? Did I see that correctly?
It is a 4th gen, and they didn’t add the vents, weird, but won’t stop me from buying it!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed If I didn’t have my 5 year old in the back, I’d be with you. But to have a, I’m assuming, $50k truck without rear vents that l’ll be using as my DD makes that a tough decision.
@@youngwildcat08 I can see that! This is a pre production so maybe they’ll see that concern and address it for the production vehicles!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Crossing my fingers! 🤞
How much was this particular package?
We don’t have pricing yet for this! Toyota should release that soon!
How long of a wait list? At the moment, Toyota is taking 18+ months to fill orders for most models.
Depends on your dealer. I've been on the 'list' with my dealer since we knew a 4th gen was coming. So when they get their first batch I get first pick ;)
Gotta get on those lists ASAP
oh dang they put bilstein shocks on TRD off road now
That’s not new, my 3rd gen offroad has bilstein.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed oh nice might get one in a few years
Should be a great truck!
Is that good or bad i your opinion?
the Bilstein suspension? I had that on my 3rd gen from the factory. It's a nice setup for sure.@@atg1338
Toyota needs to put the TT3.5v6 from the Tundra into a Tacoma to complete with the Ranger Raptor.
That would be cool! It has plenty of power as is though!!
Yea the tundra hybrid engine in this would be hilariously funny. Too much fun for Toyota in fact let’s be real.
Sounds like a jet ski
Interesting, I don't hear the similarities.
Is that a super cab? The back door seems very small-short.
It’s a double cab! Very similar to the 3rd gen.
What’s the price on the Tacoma 2024?
We should know in a month or so
It even has tow hooks
Yeah Toyota made things ready to go!
*MPG ?*
Toyota hasn’t released numbers on that yet!
When can I buy the truck
Should be available in December!
all these videos on tacomas, and no one looks at the dash to see the MPG while driving it to shows? i see it says the truck shown already has almost 10k miles on it.
We didn’t drive it…it’s a pre production model, so the mpg isn’t too accurate yet. But this one was off-roading the whole day before, so based on that, this will get very good mpg.
I still want to know what they will actually cost at dealers?
We won’t know pricing for a few more months.
This will look nice parked next to my 1999 TRD Off Road. I’ll be skipping two entire generations!
That would be sweet!!
I’ll wait 3 years to see issues and reliability. Currently gen 3 TRDOR with 19k miles lol. Brand new still. First owner. No rush for me
That won’t be an issue lol, the engines been used for years in other vehicles, so nothing new, just new for the Tacoma! Sold my 3rd gen to buy one, so you can follow along with the build on that!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed negative and un educated guess you are making. Why do I say that? Look at gen 3. They used a motor already in use similar to gen 4 Tacoma. But they changed components for the truck application, bringing new problems to the table that never had a chance to be addressed and fixed. 16-18 Tacoma had ton of issues engine and non engine related even tho the motor and transmission already had been in use for a decade. I’m a Toyota fan also, but we have to be honest about reliability. They are great when they had a chance to see what goes wrong and they fix the issue after time goes on and they stick with the motor for a while.
@@AntilleanConfederation because it’s true and valid. After talking with the Toyota engineers who actually worked on and built these engines, seems like a great source to get answers.
But I’ve also said I owned a 2017 Tacoma and not one single issue with 50K miles. You haven’t been specific on issues you think they have?
Third brake light leaked which was easy and honestly that was it.
This engine has had years to get tweaked and corrected so it’s not new and very reliable. You can look all that up.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I hope the engine is reliable. But just because it was used and is reliable in another application don’t mean it will be the same here.
@@AntilleanConfederation how so? That doesn’t make sense. That’s what it means. It’s a different vehicle but same mechanics.
Looks nice but unfortunately dealers will be marking these up big time.
Also, not a fan of the exhaust. Sounds like a Rav4 with an exhaust leak.
You did a great job presenting this video though.
I'm sure some dealers will. Just don't buy from them and make them sit on the truck. Lots of dealers will sell for MSRP. Mine will be ;)
Actually sounded similar to the V6 in person.
Glad you liked the video!
After careful consideration and talking to my family. I came to an conclusion.. I still cannot afford this.
Keep working hard and one day it’ll happen!
It’s ok brother. All that matters is happiness and things can’t make us happy. With that being said, save that money, make smart investments and invest in your self and the money will come.
I do like styling more but I sure won’t the like pricing 😂
Yeah we'll have to wait and see! Hopefully this is in the $40s for the TRD OR.
Will this model msrp for $45k?
Hopefully!! We’ll know in a few months!
I like V6 wi se how the tiny motor performance
This should be a pretty capable motor! Especially with the hybrid
What is the price?
That’s available on Toyotas website now! It wasn’t when we filmed this.
I actually like the Tacoma Trd better then the tundra. Only problem is I need a full size now with 3 kids
Dang! That'll be much more spacious for that!

Because it is an American vehicle. Australia get the Hilux.

Love Tacomas not sure about this truck except for the 3D sensor cam. The design is meh might as well be an access cab.
I think it’s sweet! No issues in the back seat, seems similar to my 3rd gen Tacoma back seats.
Why didn't they put grab handle on the driver side? 🤦😒
It is a preproduction, so maybe it’ll have it!
Any word on Auto Start/Stop?
I genuinely hope Toyota was smart enough to leave that out of this truck.
I don’t know about that, we’ll have to see!
I think it's going to have it, they get a credit for emissions. Toyota makes the system last 300k operations before turning it's self off... That's a lot. Also the computer senses what position the pistons are in and fires right away so it's not over cranking every time. Toyota over built the system. If it was a Ford or GM system I'd be worried
No more boring cars ment something. Fuck yeah
When we’re they boring!?
This is almost identical to the TRD PRO. Since the OFFROAD trim starts at $38k.... im estimate this specific one to be $45-46k. Might as well spent another $7-8k for the PRO from this point.
We'll have to see. There is no pricing yet for the 2024 lineup, so we'll see what they come out like
The pro is probably closer to 60. You probably saving around 10 or so by stepping down. The Pro definitely looks better but not 10 grand better
Nice truck but the tailgate is ridiculous? Something more to go wrong! So light it is much faster to open and close manually. The tacoma's that have the removable JBL speaker on the dash is also a terrible idea. Will probably be stolen the first day on the road?
I agree but a lot of trucks have it! Also highly doubt that’ll get stolen, most people will have no idea it’s removable unless they own it.
Built in mexico
And?
@BrosFOURRSpeed Apparently you never worked at a dealership with Mexico built vehicles 🤣
No V6??
Nope! No more V6, but this hybrid has way more power!
I still have my 2011 TRD Sport with the 4.0...
It's been ultra reliable and I am leery of all the techie stuff.
@@DCRUZ547 Oh that’s cool! From talking with toyota they have been testing this engine way above its limits. So I’m pretty confident the new setup will be robust. Very cool learning from the engineers how they test their products
Price ?
Toyota hasn’t released pricing yet!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Dude, it almost November, and no journalist driving the video yet. Toyota is so slow!!!!!
How much? Take a guess..?
Maybe starting in the mid $40K range, we’ll see!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed starting?? I hope that truck you show here tops out at 45! Fingers crossed because I really dig it
@@danieldevries3230I hope so!!
I just hope the TRD off-road doesn’t go over 50k
I hope so too! It might be close though.
no rear AC 😞
Yea I know, not sure why they didn’t address that!
Seats not leather. Nice review.
Not many cars have real leather anyways. However this is much nicer than the softex in other Toyotas. These seats were very nice and felt like genuine leather. Could have been to be honest.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Agreed. These days I'll take softex over cowhide any day. Just as soft, doesnt crack, doesnt absorb smells, cleans with a damp towel, etc.
