@@spongebobsquaretits well my intentions weren’t to shorten or summarize the video, they were to highlight the key points he goes over. Those are the 6 things he says you should do every day to lose weight.
      1. IF allows more time for your body to be into the fat burning stage versus storing fat.
      2. Eating whole foods (real food) and not processed food will result in eating less -> minimizes hunger.
      3. Exercise to get your heart rate up. The quicker you get your heart rate up then the less duration needed to work out. Aerobic exercises are what he recommends.
4 & 5. These are pretty self explanatory but meditation can reduce negative emotions such as stress, which leads to eating better & losing weight.
      6. Even if you don’t exercise, move around to create signals to send to the brain.

I had allowed those bad fats and sugars to creep into my diet when my husband retired. I cut them out and adjusted my exercise program. 5lbs to go and then we'll see if my blood work agrees with my fantastic results. ❤

@@drekberg Hello Doctor Ekberg, hope you're doing well.
Would you be able to send me a link of a video that explains this question? Or explain it here please.
I've lost 44 kg with these great contents. And now I'm focusing on body composition instead of losing weight.
What I never understood is that if I go for one meal a day, I have to intake 100 gr protein or more in just one meal.
And we know that our body cannot absorb more than 25-30 gr of protein in one meal; and turns it into fat.
So if I consume all my protein in just one meal, my body would absorb just 25 gr protein a day that is extremely low.
I did one meal a day during my 45-kg weight loss process and I confirm that I lost 22 kg muscle during this process.
So based on what I know, I believe that shorter period of eating is good for obese people, but for everyone, especially for those who have BMI lower than 25 and those who want to make muscle.

I've lost like 2.5 Kilos in two weeks, but I suspect that's just the initial loss of stored water due to glycogen stores being depleted?
Still it's motivating to see any kind of result, it shows that you can be in control of it. I was stuck at my weight for so long I kinda gave up, thinking I can't do anything about it anyway.

I hope this will help me a bit to get rid of that stubborn belly fat. And before you guys start judging if I’m eating clean. I started with diet from site Nextlevel Diet two months ago and it's working great but I just need to boost it up a little more with some other ideas, preferably these from doctor Stan.

At age 74 I started doing mostly low carb, intermittent fasting, and resistance training. I'm in better shape now at 77 than I was at 50!
So, using age as an excuse to not get healthy is ludicrous. Follow Dr Stan's protocol and feel great again!

I discovered intermittent fasting through Dr Ekberg back in 2020. I was in desperate need to lose post delivery weight. I had gained almost 20kg (44lb) since pre-pregnancy. I started intermittent fasting while exercising and continuing to do more research on IF. I have now lost more than 25kg (55lb), I'm back to my teen body and have not looked these amazing in more that 15 years. I'm no longer trying to lose weight, just toning and have been on easy OMAD for months now. I'm turning 35 this year.

Sad to report I've gained the 30plus lbs I had lost listening to Dr. Eckberg. Was in a great situation, then moved and my routine went out the door. Got diagnosed DVT on my arm, stress, anxiety, low energy (hypothyroidism but the Miami heat also big influence) and I've regained everything. Here I am back to where I was two years ago and praying I get results fast :) Low carb, high protein and healthy fats - some cardio and weights. Today is day 1. Will report back. Love strict keto. As a compulsive overeater by nature, all sugar is addictive for me. Eating no-to-low carbs I’m now at my goal weight. I am rarely “hungry” eating quality high fat. I don’t exercise a lot; Pilates session (half hour) a few x a week, and very fast short duration aerobics a few x week also. Now that it’s autumn it’s getting cool enough to go out walking here in Las Vegas, NV. Mostly, I’m just thrilled to look good in my skinny jeans again. And I feel great; my energy is high and steady. Daily meditation is also essential for me. Keto + meditation = a good life, full of peace and joy. Thanks Dr.Ekberg for your wonderful teachings. Justin Augustine is fabulous for anyone (especially all of us over 60) to start exercising. He’s very gentle and I’m finally not only eating one time a day but am MOVING! So excited!!

I just want to Thank You, Doc. 🙌🏾🙏🏽
You really broke down all the facts that Essentially anyone with an attention span and 1/2 an intellect could digest. I've stumbled into fasting, 49yrs, for the 1st time and for multiple reasons. I'm also Extremely Holistic in every approach that will allow me.
I'm thankful I was lead to your profound wisdom teachings. Thank you... again💛

I am in Day 9 of doing No Grain, No Sugar, High fat, moderate Protein,18-6 IF window, with moderate exercise and lifting weights. also, 36 hours prolonged fast every week. I never been this energetic, people have already started to notice and ask me "how come I look younger", just 9 freaking days. This is what I eat in that 6 hour window, Black Coffee, Sugarless Chocolate (99% Dark), Nuts (Mostly Cashew or Almonds - Just raw), 1 Orange or small portion of fruit of my choice, Lamb Soup (made with lot of its fat and bones), upto 7 whole eggs a day, my Carb Consumption is extremely low, for soup and Eggs I use Coconut oil or Butter or Ghee

I really like how well you explain things! I’m currently on a mexico vacation so I’ve been having a margarita every day. After 6 days, I can really feel it in my body…all the extra sugar and alcohol. Plus, it is pretty hard not to go for the nachos so I’ve also been eating starchy carb with that. I’m glad I watched your video this morning to help me order more salads!

"I don't want you to do it because you believe it, I want you to do it because you understand it." (5:55) This is why his video is 45 minutes, not 5 minutes.

My cardiologist recommended I start intermittent fasting to deal with some metabolic issues (I thought I had heart issues but he diagnosed it as all metabolic/diabetes related, not the heart). It was weird at first but it really only took two weeks before my body flipped over and started to consider it as natural. This seems to be much more sustainable to me than other methods, I can't get down to one meal a day but I think I can do this 16:8 permanently. Am currently slowly and steadily losing weight and not going backwards. Next step, get back on my walking program.
My biggest error in the past was always going all in on one thing, mega exercise but garbage diet, dieting but not exercising.

My gosh, Dr Ekberg, this is the single most comprehensive education video regarding a lifetime of low body fat and overall balance of health. I truly thank you.
I have shared your invaluable study with my family, friends and practically my entire contact list.
If there were only one video that I could share regarding health, this would be it.

Incroyable ! 🙌🙏
