This video should be shown on prime time tv throughout the world. Governments could save a fortune on healthcare if the population were educated about diet, nutrition & exercise properly. Many medical professionals still give out wrong advice or suggest medication instead of getting to the root cause of the problem like Sten Ekberg does. Superb presentation with fascinating content.

How you did that can you tell your daily routine and what you did it helps a lot

    • @siromar99
      @siromar99 2 місяці тому +1

@gaminghuuub Sure ! I have a daily 40 min brisk walk session. Doing it before or after a meal isn't crucial although walking right after eating seemed to yield more effective results.
Intermittent fasting, 16-8 ratios. My eating window is between 9:30 and 17:30, that gives me time to buffer food digestion and bed time.
As for food, a lot of avocado, salmon, red meat (ribeye steaks are a personal favorite), poultry, full fat cheese, asparagus, brocoli, cauliflower. Mushroom soups and beef broth.
Lots of eggs haha 😂 I eat a lot of them as I love omelettes. I really have at it !
My diet is very close to keto because I eliminated all sorts of sugar and carbs. I kept monitoring my blood sugar very closely.
I used to have 120/130 fasting blood sugar. after three months of discipline and diet adjustment, I'm now having 80/90 fasting blood sugar, and my post prandial glucose never goes beyond 100/110, which is excellent. I did use medication for less than a month, then I dropped everything and decided to go for diet and exercise only. And that's where I started noticing the results I have now.
I lost 67 pounds in three months and ten days. I'm 43 years old, mixed caucasian and North African genetics if you're curious.
I'll never be going back to my crappy diet. This one gives me wings, I'm almost thankful I developed diabetes so I could make the right choices and follow the right path for my health.
The last blood work showed 5.1% a1c and my liver fat is at the lowest viable level for a healthy person. Doesn't get any sweeter if you ask me 😉
Good luck in your journey if you're on your way of reversing fat liver and/or t2d.

I was drawn into health videos looking at problems of Metabolic Syndrome by Professor Robert Lustig, who I also highly recommend and his book Metabolical, although Dr Ekberg more concise and in smaller, more digestible chunks. Defintely watch them both if you have time.

@ straight not eating. Just water and electrolytes. Against my UK Doctors advice. I am fairly healthyapart from mild hypertension though and my bloods were good. I did omad first to get into it. Once I started producing ketones I started a weeks fast. I went Sunday to Saturday and then started back on scrambled egg and lighter meals. I was terribly hungry for 2 days. After that it sort of wore off. I wouldn’t advocate it for everyone without a Doctor to monitor because at the end my cholesterol was up,my BP was much lower and my sodium was too low as well. It took weeks to get my sodium back to where it was healthy.

I just found out I have high A1C (6.0) and high Total cholesterol and LDL’s but HDL to Triglyceride ratio is great. Dr. Immediately placed me on statins which I decided not too take. Doctor sent me for an ultrasound to check my liver and I do have a fatty liver which explains my other two issues. According to her I don’t need to change anything in my diet besides adding a statin. 🧐 I’m fit and have never had a weight issue but I have switched to a keto diet and removed all fructose and starches, which I have always loved and have always gotten away with because I’m in shape. Excited to see what my bloodwork shows.

You made the right decision, never take statins, they breakdown your muscles and should only be prescribed for people who have had a heart attack.

Pozdrawiam 👍💓💓💓🙂.

Been off sugar for last 3 weeks and been eating only small amounts (meat plus some greens), and I’ve lost 3kg during this time. Maybe even more, as I’m not sure where it stabilises with fluids but weighed over 5kg less today than 3 weeks ago. 5kg is over 11lbs. I eat sugar free candy though, but it is interesting to see the weight fall while I’m not hungry even. During my 5,5+ year long on and off carnivore diet this is the fastest drop I’ve had. It feels weird and great in a way. Doing morning pushups has become less straining on elbows too.

I think 2 years ago, I was pre-diabetic with a non alkolic fatty liver. But, thanks to your video, I became aware of my potential health problems and I took all your recommended measures (keto diet without sugar and no stach, IF, and low intensity time-long exercises) to decrease my weight and become much healthier. This diet and life style is working ! But now I'm wondering if I should carry on my radical restrictions as if I were still diabetic with a fatty liver or if I can pretend that I'm maintaining a good health condition as if I had never had such disease. I mean should I keep on zero-sugar, or should I allow myself eating less than 50g/day of glucose. Sometimes I go to the restaurant and eat a pizza and a desert. But it is less frequent than every two-three months.

I recently did a water only fast for 83 hours. It maybe was a bit risky cuz my health is basically unknown since I haven't seen a dr in twenty years but i felt fine mostly. The first 24-36 or so weren't that difficult, and around the 36 hour point I felt AMAZING, energized, mental clarity, honestly it was the best I've felt in my entire adult life, n then from prolly around 48 onward is was a bit rough, felt drained n the hunger was getting to me..,I could truly feel my body eating itself n it was strange. I'll likely do it again soon but not sure I'll try to go quite as long.

if you are a women, it’s more likely to cause some hair loss when you lose weight or change a diet. U believe it eventually rectifies itself? It is not a bad sign usually. It is just a result of a big change to the body (good or bad changes can do that)

They saw a dark spot on the side of my liver so, they said not to worry about it lol that’s a dr todays advice hahaha
