Today I’m going to share with you how to make the best flaky chicken empanadas better than any restaurant!!!! Seriously the filling is so flavorful and the empanada dough is so flaky its just the BEST!!! Make sure the dough is a thin as a tortilla, if you dont want to mke your own dough you can also use premade😋
Ingredientes:
2 lbs chicken cut into small cubes
1/2 cup black beans
1/2 cup sweet corn
1 small red bell pepper
1 small purple onion
1 Anaheim pepper
Chile serrano
Handful chopped cilantro
Medium cheddar cheese
2 minced garlic cloves
1 tbsp New Mexico chile powder
1 tbsp black pepper
2 tsp ground cumin
1 1/2 tsp oregano
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp chipotle powder
1 tsp chile flakes
Salt I used 1 1/2 tsp
Empanada dough
2 1/2 cups APF
1 stick cold grated unsalted butter(grate it then refrigerate until its time to use it)
1 tsp white distilled vinagre
Salt I used 1/2 tsp
1/2 cp and 1 tbsp iced cold water
1 serving of love 💕

Happy New Day my beautiful family!!!!! Enjoy another easy and delicious recipe seriously the BEST, the filling is just a bomb full of deliciousness!!!!! I tried to make the dough as easy as I could to make the rolling easier, but tbh my favorite way is how I did it on my old video, it can get even easier if you use premade dough disk, you can find them at your local supermarket in the fridge/pastry aisle 😉 but nothing beats homemade!!!!! Love you and enjoy it, ☺️ with any left over chicken, you can make a salad, taquitos, burritos, chimichangas anything its really delicious on its own 😅

Nota al margen, de un cocinero a otro... cuando cortas los tomates en cubitos (sin las semillas y todo) no tienes que cortarles la parte superior. Simplemente córtelo en cuartos y luego pase el cuchillo por debajo de las semillas hacia la raíz, retirándolo con las semillas. De esta forma no se pierde nada de la pulpa del tomate. 😊

My favorite method of maintaining a sustainable pantry for the entire family is what I consider to be the most practical, utilizing every type of food storage methods and technology available, both old and new. . Except for the fruits and vegetables that get canned, I keep perishable items like meat, poultry, fish, fruit, vegetables and dairy products in the refrigerator on a short term basis until I'm ready to use them for a big family meal - and for even longer term sustainable storage, a large separate freezer, which can store a half side of beef with plenty of room left over for homemade ice cream etc. . I'm considering upgrading to a walk-in freezer at some point.in the near future, if my plans to open a bed and breakfast come to fruition. Sometimes, however a nice round of cheese can do well for quite awhile on a pantry shelf at room temperature - and doesn't mind even if it has to stand there alone.

Would be easier. I have one, use all the time. I put 2 sheets of Round parchment paper in to put dough in between for pressing together.
