    Thank you. So very interesting. I've never seen it made with hot water. I would have liked to have seen the end result after frying. I would have liked to have seen the fried empanadas broken open so that I would know if I like to consistency of the fried dough.

    Thank you for giving this recipe! I’ve just tried it now (the dough)and definitely works on me even I’m an amateur. Very 10/10 for me!. Though my flour requires more water than what is the recipe is calling for, but still I have made a perfect crust thanks for this video

    Naka gawa na ko ayus eto ung hinaganap ko dough sa emapanda. Ang sarap lalo pag bago luto. Naka benta nako knina. ung recipe mo 25 pcs ngawa ko tag 30 grams. So kung 1 kilo harina 50 pcs. Thank you po . God bless

    I should have tried this than the other recipe I saw, it looked like the ingredients were blended easily and smooth in no time of kneading? I wonder if the hot water made it so?

      Yea I’ve learned hot water vs cold will make it easier to knead the dough

    I will try this today! The only recipe i found that calls for melted butter and hot water. Haha why not! I always end up with cracks on my cold butter cold water dough and always hard to work with. I'll let you know the outcome later if you like ;)

    Most recipes call for cold water and cold butter. How did you land on the melted butter and hot water? Love your smooth crimping btw.

      You can do both ways. It can be fried or baked at 180C for 23-25 minutes. But it always depends on your oven.

    Hi there. Is it possible to make the dough using only half of the mentioned ingredients? I only have a little over 2 cups of flour and about 1/3 cup of butter. Hoping for your response. Thanks in advance. 😊

      Yes you can use only the available flou that you have. Then add a bit of butter then adjust the water for the desired texture. Hope this helps.

      @@RinasKitchen0711 thank you so much!! I made the empanadas yesterday and the stand mixer really helped. Those were the best empanadas ever! I wish I could show you a picture on here but it doesn't give that option. Your recipe was so easy and making the empanadas was a lot of fun. I love that it only uses a few ingredients and the dough came out so soft and delicious! Thank you for your video. This will be the only empanada dough recipe I'll ever use!! ❤️💯

      What I did differently, is I divided the dough in half and rolled out a big sheet of it with a rolling pin and used a round container to cut out equally shaped discs. I think that was easier for me instead of working double making each disc individually. I hope this helps others out there. Great video and best recipe! ❤️

    Hi! I want to make the dough and store the discs for later use. Do you know where can I get something to separate them so they wont stick together when stacked and stored away? Like a plastic film sheets to put in between or something?

      You can use Saran wrap/ cling wrap in every discs to separate it. This can also be stored in the freezer for later use. Hope this helps

    If I want to make the dough to use for later in the day, will the dough get hard if I keep it in the fridge? Or will it keep it's softness like when used right away? Or is it ok to leave it out all day? I don't want to mess this up. Thank you!
