I’m 60 and have heat styled my hair every day since 1974. During the pandemic, I didn’t do anything with it and I discovered beautiful naturally curly old lady hair. Thanks for your video.
One thing that should've been said: the only way to get rid of heat or chemical damage is cutting it! Your hair will never magically revert back to healthy. You can of course transition and cut it a few inches at a time instead of cutting it all at once, but don't get frustrated if it doesn't look like the curly hair youtubers after a few weeks or even months
girl i was about to comment the same thing. i can see it being curlier at the root which means if she let it grow out for a few years, she could have a tighter healthier and bouncier head of curls
Ya'll just gave me more hope. I have 3b curls at the temple around my forehead, 2a/b (sometimes 2c on really good days) waves framing the sides of my face, but pin straight hair everywhere else because those are where my hair is still badly damaged from heat & chemicals. I've been on CGM 3 months in but without the chop, the transition has been slow. I would have to get a pixie cut though since my hair is only chin-length...
I was having a bad day and was crying. I went to UA-cam and saw Sierra posted a vlog and a main channel video today. Doesn’t matter the content but she always makes me feel better! Sounds so cheesy but I just love her!
honestly, i feel like a lot of the curly girl method can be helpful for almost all hairtypes. Yeah, I totally agree. Even if your hair is pin-straight, a lot of the general suggestions of the curly girl method (not all of them of course hahah) are still really helpful to encourage the health of your hair. You don't have to be trying to get wavy/curly hair back just to get healthy hair
As a fellow curly hair girl who’s totally botched her curls with heat and color, I appreciate this hair content 🙏🏽 can’t wait until I can go to a salon and cut some inches!

Sabina Hertzum I’ll be sure to check them out, thank you! I’ve been wanting shorter hair for a while and that requires cutting a good few inches, but I definitely wouldn’t be opposed to learning how to trim my own hair at home.
Don't know if you'll see this but if you hair is nearly soaking wet and you brush, it doesn't take out the curl. You can get styling brushes for curls. The Denman brush is my FAVORITE, I have the D3 version. It helps with frizz because it smooth the hairs so that they keep together while defining the curls. Hope this helps! 💕
Bella Thank you for sharing your advise! I have been trying to see if there was anything better to help brush out my hair while helping my curls and frizz, I will have to check this out 😌
I'm so happy that the curly girl method worked for you! I’m in going into high school soon and watching your videos made me realize that I needed to take better care of my wavy hair before I do serious damage to it.

Sis, cut your ends! I was so scared to lose my length that I would rather have waves than the curls I always had and when I cut it my hair became fully curly (still considering that I didnt use heat, sulfates, etc) Trust that your curls will be so muchhh curlier and you'll love them! Love the progress you've had and can't wait to see how much they improve over time!
Jacquelynn Lopez I second this! I’ve always had super long hair and I was reluctant to lose any of that length but I chopped off a decent amount and got it shaped for curly hair and man, it looks so much better! No more scraggly ends and even the detangling process takes half the time because the ends aren’t dry and thin. It was a bit of a shock the first couple of days because it got curlier and the shrinkage made it seem even shorter but now I credit that chop for my hair looking so good now
I was still using sulfates in my hair and taking off the good 4 inches of damaged ends (from lightening it) brought alot of my curl back (i never really used heat on it)
Just because I wrote it down for my own use, here is the full style routine: Fully wet hair Non sulfate shampoo, massage with fingers then scalp massager (once a week) Rinse Condition Detangle with wide tooth comb (add water for any dry spots) Noodle (take small pieces, press in conditioner/water with fingers) Rinse (do not squeeze out excess water) Get out of shower Spray in leave in conditioner (focus on mid to ends) Brush out with wet brush (helps combat frizz) Flip head and shake out hair (for root volume) Scrunch in curl cream (look for squish sound) Pat on gel Squeeze out excess water, then plop hair with tshirt or microfiber towel Air dry or blow dry with diffuser (put hair in diffuser bowl scrunch to root, blow for 20 sec, then turn off in between)
I always wanted to go it but thought it would look odd and not “presentable”. Now that I’m in quarantine I definitely have the time for it and nobody will see it if it looks off in the transitioning period.
Nobody’s natural hair should ever be described as not “presentable”. If you take care of it, and it’s clean, it’s presentable. That fact that people are made to feel that way in the first place is ridiculous.
I have curly hair and the best thing I realised from this vid was that it takes time for the hair to heal, I'm always annoyed when my hair doesn't look healthy every day and this vid reminded me it's about patience and consistency :) thanks!
Talk about a hair TRANSFORMATION! I’ve been following your curly girl journey and just seeing the intro to this video I could IMMEDIATELY see such a dramatic difference! It looks fantastic!!! 😍
I sent you an Instagram dm but since I dont think you saw it, I'll say it here since I am concerned about it: I saw a facebook ad that was trying to sell Jean's and used your video clip and face in their ad, probably without your permission. Just thought you'd like to know!
Hey! Yeah same I was on Hollister (UK website) and they were using her pics advertising their bikinis- not sure if she did something with hollister (it’s clearly her pic, not hollistes) but I DM’d her nevertheless
I don’t even know how I’ve stumbled across your channel but honestly I’m so happy I did bc you’ve become one of my favorite youtubers and the message in your videos have just given me a sense of confidence/positivity that I didn’t even know I needed. I really hope to meet you in person one day 🥺
18:59 Hey Sierra, just an FYI, this is not a plop. A plop is when you lay the shirt/towel on a flat surface (bed, counter etc) and you basically flip your head upside down and allow all of your hair to "plop" in the center of the shirt/towel which allows you to kind of squish the hair while absorbing excess moisture and product which allows it to try faster. when you let your hair fall onto the shirt or towel, you then pull the part that is behind your head to the back of your head, then use the sleeves to hold it in place by tieing it behind your head. (i hope that makes sense.) Plopping helps alot with curl formation, cutting dry time and reducing frizz.
There’s actually different kinds of silicones! Some are water soluble and will wash out with non sulfate shampoo. I use a Ouidad conditioner that has water soluble silicone in it and i haven’t had any issues with it building up
PREACH. Water soluble silicons are CG approved (for those strictly sticking to CG). Herbal Essences Totally Twisted gel has been my holy grail product since I went curly a year ago. I would be lost without it!!
⚠️ATTENTION⚠️ Curly Girl method isn’t only for girls with curly hair!!! I have pin straight hair and started doing CGM just to have healthier hair and omg did it work! My hair is so much healthier and less frizzy. I even started getting little baby ringlets underneath my hair😍 Straight hair girls give it a try!
'It's more complicated than it sounds' is the best description of cg hair I've ever heard! 😂 I've been cg for about 15 years, it's so awesome to see your curls coming back so beautifully 😊
This was perfect timing! I work with Covid patients and have to wash my hair as soon as I get home after every shift. I was so worried about causing damage to my now very pretty fine curly hair ( thanks to the curly girl method and you). I’m sure just using a conditioner and lots of rinsing should remove any possible virus to help keep my family safe. I cannot thank you enough. I would try and go 4 days without wetting my hair just to try and save it from unnecessary trauma.
Even if you have straight hair but you want your hair to be absolutely curly you can use the curly girl method you can use shampoos that are so fate silicone and para been free and let your hair dry naturally you know use know he you will have the most healthy hair it won't be curly it may not be wavy but it will be at its most healthiest state. And just so you know most curly girls wish they had straight hair
I have 3b hair and have been doing the curly girl method for about a year now. For me, my hair started drastically changing when I hit the 5-month mark. Going Sulfate and Silicone free changed my hair and looked like how it did when I was 3 years old. Sierra this is just the beginning. Your hair will get even more curly and definned because your hair is now almost fully used to the method and that is when you see the drastic changes in your hair
I think you can definitely tell that your hair is curlier than it even looks here. The underside and the roots have more defined coils and it really looks like bleach and heat damage affected your wave pattern. It will be interesting to see what happens over time if you keep up with growing out your natural hair and low to no heat.
She's got some 3A or even 3B curlicues at her nape! I would like to see her hair once she fully cuts off the damage. I think she will have loose ringlets.
I’ve been wrapping my hair in a turban BEFORE applying my product so it was only damp and not wet enough, now I realise my mistake, thank you Sierra! That blow dry tip of turning it off to gather your curls up in the diffuser is also a game changer!
The first two years of my curly hair journey I did a full wet refresh like you do... I related totally to how you felt about not being ready. Now, 4 years later, I can refresh with different styles and it looks and feels fine! It’s always changing :)
Honestly the way I saved my hair was by shaving it. You can’t fix damage so getting rid of as much as possible and caring for your hair properly is the best move
this is my favourite thing because i used to hate my curls so i would straighten to reduce the friz. super excited to try this during the time i have off school. love you sierra 👍
I only started watching UA-cam a few months ago, and yours was one of the first channels I subscribed to! I always thought I had straight hair, but started noticing waves in my hair after having my 2nd baby. Coincidentally, this was right around the time I watched your 1st curly girl method video. I decided to try the CGM basically because of you! I'm still in transition, but I'm loving my natural hair so far and am super glad I saw your videos on CGM. Just wanted to say thank you for that and for all of your positivity in general! 😊 (Btw sorry for the super long comment lol)
I love that she tried this out because I have really poofy and wavy hair (kind of like she had before), and I had no idea what to do with it. I would have to straighten it every day in order to think I looked good. I saw her first video about this and since we are quarantined and I am bored, I decided to try out the Curly Girl Method. I finally love my hair curly and I still sometimes straighten it, but I don't feel that I have to.
Evangelia Papadopoulos I’m the same, I went through a period of straightening my hair every day for the same reason. I’m trying to embrace the waves while we’re in quarantine and hopefully let my hair recover :)
Girl! Get yourself a denman brush, and buy a satin bonnet and pillowcase for bedtime :) might help with the frizz and morning "refresh" so you don't have to start all over. But it's looking great and to each their own. CG is such a journey!
I Think you forgot one huge piece of advice - the cut DOES make a huge difference to curly hair- especially if you are going for volume... I think your previous video showed that a lot - both that the hair came more to life when you got a little layering in to it... Lots of people forget that just because the hair has one length ( like a lob) the hairs have different levels of damage and age according to where it grows from the head... Like your hair Sierra - the ends of the hairs at your nape is about a year and a half old... while the hairs from the top of your head is 3-4 years old - and that hair is also much more damaged because it’s what’s in the elements and what gets touched all the time... If you haven’t tried it yet you should try sleeping in a bonnet!! Or even try some type of pineapple for sleeping... It makes a HUUGE difference in damage when sleeping on the hair and could make your refresh easier still ;) There is still so much to try and the best thing is that there is still getting things discovered ;)
You inspired me to embrace my naturally curly hair, I’m 3 months into the curly girl method and loving it. I’m still playing around with my routine and can’t wait to see my hair transformation!! Thanks for documenting your journey ❤️
When you were talking about wetting your hair and doing the reset I related so much! I never do curl refreshes because I don’t like how my hair looks when I don’t wet it. You’re not alone curly girl!
it’s been all natural baby 🤣 love it sierra, i’m 30 days into my curly girl journey and my hair looks about 10 times better than it normally does. thanks for all the tips!
We have such similar hair! Another way to combat frizz is to brush through your product. I use a custard and curl jelly( like a light gel) and I brush those through THEN scrunch and it’s a game changer!!!! I love seeing you loving your curls again ❤️❤️
Always always always do your roots first and only hover around your hair, dont touch it til it's almost dry. That was the number one game changer for me. I make sure my roots are about 75% dry then move on to the rest.
Thanks for the update!! I first found your channel when I was looking up videos on the curly girl method and found your first video. Love your channel!!
Have you tried lightly rinsing your hair (without touching it with your hands) after you noodle and maybe leaving a little conditioner in? I feel like you’d have bigger clumps/more definition if you tried that. Either way, your hair looks fantastic and I’m so glad you tried the CG method! It looks much more healthy 😊💕
I've loved watching all of your curly hair videos, you can really see the transformation your hair has gone through. Your curls look amazing, and can only get better as you continue figuring out what's best for your hair! Also, a tip for getting really defined curls/waves with little to no frizz is to apply your curl cream using the raking method, and then scrunching after!! Raking the product through your hair also helps a bunch with clumping. From one curly girl to another, I just wanna say how much I appreciate these kinds of videos, it's so great to see curly hair community growing and thriving :)
This video was extremely helpful. I have been trying to make the curly girl method work for me but I wasn’t fully happy with what I was getting. But your comment on finding what matter to you and chase that (less frizz, curl definition, etc) led me to the best hair day! Thank you!
Your first video on the curly girl method is actually how I found you! I started my curl journey about a month ago and was watching ALL the UA-cam videos, then I stuck around because I love your videos. I don't know if you use a satin/silk pillowcase or satin bonnet/buff at night, but that has been a game changer for making my curls last... I usually don't even have to refresh until day 3/4... just a suggestion in case you notice any hygral fatigue from soaking and drying your hair every day :)
My hair is mostly straight but used to be so wavy when I was younger and if I style it when its wet, it absolutely looks more voluminous and wavy. I'm interested to see if trying the water retention instead of ringing it out helps with that at all!!! Thanks!
I've been watching your vids for months now bc I love your bubbly, positive messages, but bc my body type pretty much matches the conventional beauty standard I never /really/ felt like you were speaking to me... until now! I struggled for years to accept my curls and to this day my hair is still a feature I have to work to love, so it's really empowering to see someone on that journey too and reframing how I think about my hair w the same body positive messaging that has helped other girls to love their curves
I've always had curly hair and seeing all these videos makes me really happy. But I'm not going to lie, I could never have the patience to do so much with my hair. I wash it, I let it dry and add a bit of moisturizing cream when it's wet. That's all. I don't do refreshing or anything else
I have curly hair too. I wash it every other day and put a curl mist into out of the shower and nothing else. I don't understand how people do all of this.
Your videos have helped me TREMENDOUSLY!! I’ve finally taken the time to start my channel and actually have 2 VIDEOS UP!!! Thank you for your content and instilling confidence in me.
It would be a greasy mess. We need more moisture than a straight haired person. The oil from the scalp has a hard time traveling down wavy and curl hair. The oil easily goes down straight hair shaft. They could never go a month without using sulfates days at most.
So my hair has always been straight and thin but I have a lot of hair, it can be frizzy if I’m not careful too and it also curls pretty easily. After watching these kind of videos I was like hey I might as well try it and see. I now use no sulfates and literally can have my hair either way if I get out of the shower and brush it and leave it to air dry it’s pin straight if I put curl cream and scrunch it it curls sooo nicely. I think I may just be special but I will never go back to using sulfates my hair is so much more conditioned and less frizzy without them!
Georgia Wright your hair isn’t straight then! If it can keep a curl with curl creme or product, it was never naturally straight. A lot of wavy hair folk can go either way and be straight if they don’t style it!
Shelby Dezall I have a cheap, curl-trick, even for straight hair. It only works if your hair gets wavy when you go to the beach / swim in salt water aka beachy waves. My hair started to lose its curls in my teens. Even had a few straight pieces. Looked very strange to have a stick straight section next to waves. The curl-trick is: Epsom Salt Spray. 1/2 teaspoon dissolved in 1 cup hot distilled water. Can make more, but keep the same ratio. Let cool, put in a spray bottle. Can add 10 drops lavender essential oil to smell nice. Spray generously all over roots to ends, scrunch gently all over OCD thoroughly (I have mild OCD. It comes in handy here), air dry or diffuse a little, but mainly air dry. It will dry crunchy. Don’t panic! Flip over, gently scrunch until it’s soft, come back up, lean to the left & scrunch, right & scrunch. Repeat until all the crunch it gone. The salt can be drying so don’t use every day and deep condition weekly. I only use this and aloe vera spray. Strangers, including African American women (the curl experts!) complimented it, asked if my hair was real, and wanted to know how I styled it. Epsom salt is cheap so if it doesn’t work or it’s too drying, it’s not a big financial loss.
Thank you for helping this mom learn to love herself and take care of herself again. Found out I have all the right products just have no idea how to use them correctly followed your style method today with what I had on had and actually looked put together!!!
The AG Recoil styler is my favorite single product for a wash and go!! I also love the Aussie volume gel. It makes my hair BIG!!! I am so I love with this whole series, kudos for sharing curlsbot- it’s a lifesaver!!!
Those before and after pics really gave me a lot of hope that my hair will feel and look better in the next few months. Thank you so much for the tips! Your hair has been looking so amazing!!🖤
Your hair type reminds me of my hair, my hair’s super curly though when I finish washing I think it’s just your routine, I’m curious how it’d turn out if you want your hair to be more bouncy curly lol try washing/conditioning with your head flipped over and while you’re rinsing do the scrunchy method, but do it while water is still flowing on your head to keep moisture in your curls, it just helps to keep the shape of the curls, then use your styling gel and again with your head flipped over put it in and scrunch your hair, I just use moose lol I’ll let the water still flow on my head at this point while adding more product and then I turn the water off and use more moose, then I’ll grab my towel or shirt and lightly scrunch to grab some excess moisture, and I let it air dry but of course you can still blow dry it using your hair dryer. Also I make sure to brush my hair before washing it so I’m not losing my curls at the end, I know you weren’t asking for any of this but I’m really curious how bouncy and boingy your hair can get lol also I should mention our hair’s about the same length yours is just a tad bit longer but anywaysss love your videos hope if you happen to see this and try my method that it’ll be helpful to you or anyone reading who wants more bouncy girls 😅 I know it’s not the most solid routine but just wanted to put it out there at least 🤷🏻♀️ lol
This has seriously helped me so much!! I've been trying to recover my curls for months and nothing (including girly girl method) was working. I did everything you did step by step with my own products and my hair has never looked better!! Thank you so so much!!
A bit rough with that scalp massager brush. Wet hair is so delicate and breaks easily. Brushing/combing/anything that creates any pull can greatly damage the cuticles and strength of your hair. This could be a possible cause of frizz.
I have like 3 inches of hair and it’s not curly at all but you bet your ass I’m gunna watch this to support my gurl
Same!
Same! Really wanna know if there is a straighty girl method out there... I feel left out :D
awe 🥺
Same 🤣🎉💯
Actually a lot of women with straight hair benefits from the curly girl method, often they will get more bounce/waves. Definitely worth a try still :)
I’m 60 and have heat styled my hair every day since 1974. During the pandemic, I didn’t do anything with it and I discovered beautiful naturally curly old lady hair. Thanks for your video.
This is so amazing!!
I’ m 50 and having great fun watching all these videos with ways to take care of our curls that we had no idea there were back then ☺️
I'm watching this with my pin straight hair.
Ashley Marie sameeeeeee
Ashley Marie same. My hair won’t hold a curl if it’s life depended on it 😅
Me too. :)
lol same if anyone curls my hair its straight again within 20 min
Same. I'm feeling grateful that I don't need an elaborate wash and style routine :')
One thing that should've been said: the only way to get rid of heat or chemical damage is cutting it! Your hair will never magically revert back to healthy. Let it go let it go. Cut damaged ends instead of holding on to them.
Ya'll just gave me more hope. When Sierra said “sometimes I’ll flip it around... try to find whatever way looks best... NOT this...” I felt that lol curly hair is such a gamble
I was having a bad day and was crying. I went to UA-cam and saw Sierra posted a vlog and a main channel video today. Doesn’t matter the content but she always makes me feel better! Sounds so cheesy but I just love her!

That sounds like beautiful hair

I brush my hair and my daughter's hair with the wet brush and a bunch of conditioner whenever we get it wet.
Yes the Denman brush is an essential!
Thank you❤❤❤
I agree! I’ve never heard of the Denman brush but I absolutely love the wet brush!
Don’t get too caught up in the rules of the CGM, just try things out and do what works for you even if it’s against the ‘rules’ 😊
I love watching Sierra cause her energy just puts me in a good and positive headspace, which is needed more now than ever.
I'm so happy that the curly girl method worked for you! I’m in going into high school soon and watching your videos made me realize that I needed to take better care of my wavy hair before I do serious damage to it.
Amy Fischer Definitely-that’s a great age to start; hair definitely changes after, as you age.

Gracie to the Max quick question, since your a stylist, is brushing wet hair bad? I’ve always been taught it’s really bad.
This is JUST what I needed. The CGM is so overwhelming, thank you for showing me that not everything has to be done by the rules!

She did. She went to a certified curly girl stylist and had several inches removed. It’s in the video she suggested at the beginning of this one.
I was still using sulfates in my hair and taking off the good 4 inches of damaged ends (from lightening it) brought alot of my curl back (i never really used heat on it)
@@tuntaverntraveltrailer4808 true and it's been a couple months. Where she's transitioning, she could probably cut off some more.
Do I have curly/wavy hair? No.
Did I watch this whole video? Absolutely.
Just because I wrote it down for my own use, here is the full style routine:
Fully wet hair
Non sulfate shampoo, massage with fingers then scalp massager (once a week)
Rinse
Condition
Detangle with wide tooth comb (add water for any dry spots)
Noodle (take small pieces, press in conditioner/water with fingers)
Rinse (do not squeeze out excess water)
Get out of shower
Spray in leave in conditioner (focus on mid to ends)
Brush out with wet brush (helps combat frizz)
Flip head and shake out hair (for root volume)
Scrunch in curl cream (look for squish sound)
Pat on gel
Squeeze out excess water, then plop hair with tshirt or microfiber towel
Air dry or blow dry with diffuser (put hair in diffuser bowl scrunch to root, blow for 20 sec, then turn off in between)
Hey you should sleep with a bonnet to reduce some of the frizzy on day two and to also just reduce frizz period! Satin lining bonnets are the best
I always wanted to go it but thought it would look odd and not “presentable”.
Now that I’m in quarantine I definitely have the time for it and nobody will see it if it looks off in the transitioning period.
Sabina Ciardi omg SAME!
YES this is how I feel! This is why I started!
Nobody’s natural hair should ever be described as not “presentable”. If you take care of it, and it’s clean, it’s presentable. That fact that people are made to feel that way in the first place is ridiculous.
Good luck hope u try and stick to it u will get such amazinv results

@@Emma-rn5ek she has been working with Hollister this year! I know she did a jeans campaign, so she may have done one for swimsuits too.
She models for Hollister.
It was for a brand called Beautifily Co. I dont think shes working for them
Yeah, I saw it too and also left a message here.
The thoroughness of this video is everything I’ve ever wanted, I am so excited to try out your techniques to help revive my curls!! 😊
Ladii_Star1011 agree! Currently plopping my hair😂
Ohhhhhh. Good to know. I’m brand new to this stuff
“It’s been all natural baby”love that😂❤️
Yay! Sierra liked!
Yay we got double sierra today!! Vlog squad where ya at😎
There’s actually different kinds of silicones!
⚠️ATTENTION⚠️
Curly Girl method isn’t only for girls with curly hair!!!
She seems like the sweetest and most real person. I love her
Me: has straight af hair
Sierra: Curly Girl Method!!!
Me: **clicks super fast**
Even if you have straight hair but you want your hair to be absolutely curly you can use the curly girl method you can use shampoos that are so fate silicone and para been free and let your hair dry naturally you know use know he you will have the most healthy hair it won't be curly it may not be wavy but it will be at its most healthiest state. And just so you know most curly girls wish they had straight hair
You can still use the CG-method, just a different branch of the method called low-poo
I’m fascinated by CGM but also never want to spend this much time on my hair lmao. I’m a brush and go gal
Good Day, I'm Subscribed to your channel and I think you have a beautiful voice. I hope you are doing well.
She's got some 3A or even 3B curlicues at her nape! I would like to see her hair once she fully cuts off the damage. I think she will have loose ringlets.
I love how all curly haired people find their own thing! My favourite part of embracing my curls is the experimentation!
Who else is excited?! 💖 Thank you for always cheering me up with your videos Sierra! Xx
Being someone with really curly hair I love to see you embracing it
I just finished your vlog and got this notification. Perfect timing for a little Sierra marathon!
This is the most helpful video on wavy hair ive seen!! Thank you for this 💕
Honestly the way I saved my hair was by shaving it. You can’t fix damage so getting rid of as much as possible and caring for your hair properly is the best move
Wow. I cannot believe how organized this video was 😍 I really cannot emphasize how amazing your effort is for all of your videos!
this is my favourite thing because i used to hate my curls so i would straighten to reduce the friz. super excited to try this during the time i have off school. love you sierra 👍
Emma Siegfried same here - trying to just let my natural waves/curls come out. I don’t want to straighten my hair anymore bc it killed it sooo bad.
It makes a HUUGE difference in damage when sleeping on the hair and could make your refresh easier still ;)
There is still so much to try and the best thing is that there is still getting things discovered ;)
Same!
I just love watching curly/wavy hair videos. I always find it so interesting to see other people’s hair types.
it’s been all natural baby 🤣 love it sierra, i’m 30 days into my curly girl journey and my hair looks about 10 times better than it normally does. thanks for all the tips!
I'm almost a year into my curly hair hair and I feel amazing! Honestly you keep seeing more and more of a difference as time goes on and it's amazing
It seems like a pretty big time and effort commitment, but wow. Looking at the before and after picture, your hair looks amazing!
I think a lot of people wash at night and plop to dry overnight.
You inspired me to revive my curls too! Love curls and you❤️❤️
This video was extremely helpful. I have been trying to make the curly girl method work for me but I wasn’t fully happy with what I was getting. But your comment on finding what matter to you and chase that (less frizz, curl definition, etc) led me to the best hair day! Thank you!
You are so lucky to have beautiful curly hair. My hair is naturally thin and straight, and cannot hold a curl to save its life.
As a curly hair girl I can definitely say: THANK YOU FOR THESE VIDEOS!
Unsure about Americans, but as an Aussie, I pronounce "soluble" as "soll you bull" 😊
I'm American and that's what I say
A Brit here, we pronounce it that way too
I'm not from an English speaking country, but that's what I say too.
Jack.E Bee same here in the south. Soll-you-bull.
Eyyy aussie represent!
Love this since I am also a wavy. Your hair is looking so much better than the first video and will get even better once you cut the heat damage!
I don’t have curly hair, but this series is still so fun to watch!
That's all. I don't do refreshing or anything else
daysleeper1989 Same here my second day curly hair is just a frizzy mess in a bun 😅
Honestly my hair looks and feels better when I just do this!
Me either. I prefer day 3 and 4 hair better.
I have curly hair too. I wash it every other day and put a curl mist into out of the shower and nothing else. I don't understand how people do all of this.
OMG!! I loved this video! I'm so excited to start my transformation. Thanks!
products- 2:12 shower- 5:30 full style- 16:20 quick style- 22:47 messy bun- 25:29 tips- 28:23
Your videos have helped me TREMENDOUSLY!! I’ve finally taken the time to start my channel and actually have 2 VIDEOS UP!!! Thank you for your content and instilling confidence in me.
so helpful
omg thank you for telling us about curlsbot!! i stopped using my old products and found new curly girl approved products! you literally saved my hair
I would be FASCINATED to see someone who has straight hair do this curly girl method for a month or so
It would be a greasy mess.
It's been done à few times ! Just have a search of UA-cam ☺
Thanks my daughter is a curly girl and all your advice has been great especially with the loss of Deva products.
This was incredibly helpful. I've been looking to change my routine cause the one I'm using just isn't working for me. Thank you Sierra, love you!
As a new hair stylist who doesn’t work on curly hair that often, I found this super informative! I love your hair videos and it looks amazing!!!
I literally just watched your first curly girl video an hour ago and commented asking you to do an updated product video.. guess I got my wish fast! 😂
Thank you for helping this mom learn to love herself and take care of herself again.
Found out I have all the right products just have no idea how to use them correctly followed your style method today with what I had on had and actually looked put together!!!
I do a daily conditioner reset wash too, I thought I was the only one!
The AG Recoil styler is my favorite single product for a wash and go!! I also love the Aussie volume gel. It makes my hair BIG!!! I am so I love with this whole series, kudos for sharing curlsbot- it’s a lifesaver!!!
I’d love to see you try SwavyCurlyCourtney’s routine for curl clumps part 2. I recently tried it and it was amazing!
we neeeed a 1-year update!
I started the CGM at the beginning of February and I've learned so so much since then
Your hair is literally gorgeous omgggg. Love it!
thank you for this. when you posted your last video i started my own journey and i finally love my hair. thank you
After this, I'll definitely try the noodling, I've never heard of it before!
Those before and after pics really gave me a lot of hope that my hair will feel and look better in the next few months. Thank you so much for the tips! Your hair has been looking so amazing!!🖤
I have dreadlocks but if you think I'm not gonna watch this video because of it you're wrong! Gotta support my girl Sierra!
I Love you are embracing your natural curls! 🙌 You are so beautiful and inspire me everyday 💕💕
Girl, do you have a silk pillow case?? That cut down the frizz in my curly hair and feels luxurious
Never clicked on a video so fast- you inspired me to start the curly girl method when your first vid came out!
A bit rough with that scalp massager brush.
Wet hair is so delicate and breaks easily.
Brushing/combing/anything that creates any pull can greatly damage the cuticles and strength of your hair.
This could be a possible cause of frizz.
Do I have wavy/ curly hair? Not even close.
Did I watch this video? Heck yes.
Love Sierra and her honesty and genuine personality ❤
