PUBLIC SERVANTS USE VISIT BY JOURNALIST AS AN EXCUSE TO STOP WORKING & CALL POLICE! EDUCATED!

- Fellow Patriots, I was peacefully exercising my 1st Amendment Rights at the Harrison County Government Center in Corydon, Indiana. Everything was going smooth until some Public Servants stopped working to video and take pictures of me because they were “creeped” out by me…not so creeped out to stay away but just enough to call the Police. When the Police arrived they asked for ID which I refused to give, and then tried to say because I was wearing black that’s cause for concern…ridiculous. Please be sure to hit the like button, it truly helps spread this around for more Patriots to see it and I appreciate it!

Safety in numbers, it was time for a diet coke break
What’s wild is that this is the least aggressive govt center and cops I’ve seen. These cops knew you weren’t a threat and left. The women were concerned and then relaxed when they saw you weren’t a threat. Even answered a question to help you. I wish they identified themselves though because you even gave them a heads up that you could request EVERYTHING. GOOD JOB
I love it when I get on UA-cam and a new LIA video is up!!
Thanks Sean for ur videos, u r truly a brave and intelligent man, a true Patriot! God Bless U!!!!!
It is understandable. People are made afraid of each other by certain politicians working their way up by over emphasizing natural fear people have. In addition media showing us constant shootings and killings and bad people. That is why people are afraid. I cannot blame them. I think the public servants people here did nothing wrong at all. This is the max one can expect. Police were nice. everything went as good as it can get in this day of age in the USA.
So the guys dressed in dark clothes with guns were thinking the guy dressed in dark clothes with a camera was suspicious ?? Our public servants really need to be re-educated
they aren't educated so how they going to be re-educated ?
Cops say the dumbest shit. 😄💯
Well, they do commit an awful lot of assaults... so maybe it is evident of a "guilty mind" complex. Dark clothes = lots of assaults.
@@carmineredd1198 I heard they have some sort of "camp" for that🤣
I was thinking the same thing... these cops don't do irony do they?
That first cop set the tone - PROFESSIONAL. Great job officer!

Based on that we will have no freedoms at all 50 years from now because all our rights will be abolished because of "this day in age".
I’m so distracted by the floors, that’s something you see in Vegas. Very sharp for a public building.
It's awesome to see a guy dressed in all black saying people dressed in all black look suspicious.
Is he trying to confess something?
And dressed like robo cop. I cannot understand why they need to have all that paraphernalia.. all top heavy.

Good job to the officers. Respectfulness. No escalation. No crossing of boundaries. Hats off.
It's so pleasant to see people behaving well. These public servants deserve an award for being very courteous under what was probably uncomfortable circumstances for them. You Sean did an excellent job as usual.
I like how they had a good sense of humor and were laughing about it. Refreshing from outright hostility you see on so many audits.

This was a terrific audit. Another opulent public building. The employees need some education but they were reasonable. Officer Crawford was trying to be a “hammer” but the other officer was calm and not playing into the whole “in this day and age” justification to escalate. Great job.
Something I have realized from watching audits from across the country all the "opulent public buildings" and facilities government operations has and if you notice, most are sparsely populated by citizens! It seems "in this day & age" that many of these opulent public buildings are now trying to keep our good citizens from entering these fine, taxpayer funded opulent public buildings by requiring an appoint or showing ID before allowing us to enter. They are spending too much of our money!
What was with that dance move he kept doing with his shoulders? Did you mean Hammer Time?.
Love how the old guy who would fall over in a good wind was trying to act like the big shot.
Everyone was calm and reasonable here. Well done all departments
Randy, your wife/daughter is at work she calls and says there’s a large man dressed in black videotaping me.Do you tell her to call the police or do you go there? At this point I don’t think you have a wife or girlfriend or daughter in your family that would even call you. Good luck with life brother.
We all want perfect audits, but considering no one appeared to be in the know about audits, I think everyone did amazingly well.
The ladies were skeptical but had a friendly open discussion with you.
The one officer was a little daft (your daytime line was hilarious!), but they didn't "babysit" you around the building like other places have. The main officer seemed reasonable and they all identified and were civil with you.
The guy in the auditor's office should receive phone calls from people to his supervisor. That service was AMAZING!
So while some things could be a little bit cleaner, overall factoring in this was a learning experience, I think they did quite well. The next audit of them will likely be superb.
It's nice to see positive audits sometimes. Great work as always Sean...you're the best!
Very professional officer. Thank you for being an example of what all law enforcement should be
It always amazes me when people walk up to someone with a camera and says “get the camera away from me” it’s so stupid to think you can put YOURSELF ON CAMERA and then say you don’t want to be filmed!!

The records requested and filled within minutes was amazing! Should be the example set for every other county.
Calming down? Lol. They were literally acting crazy. 😅 Not hysterical, but definitely crazy
@@ryanjones7681 in contrast they were calm, smiling and clearly not scared. I believe this was due to LIA calm methodology employed to defuse. He's really standing out in the auditor world and will likely be a huge impactful agent for positive change.
Once they call the cops its an automatic fail.
@@saturnnet1627 I understand what you're indicating and I generally agree. The audit itself is a "fail" but just like Audit the Audit grades the audit and officers I would have given these people a medium grade (C). Eventually they were educated and calmed down. The officers I would've given a B because although they could have handled the entire matter over the phone and never showed up physically, once there they quietly found their way back out of the "scene" after establishing no crime was being committed.
The ladies learned and that's why I'm favorable.
I suspect LIA would call this a success because If we don't allow any room for growth and just fail people I suspect it will take much more time to reach the goal.
@@saturnnet1627 average person doesn't have to know the law. The cops do, it would help if everyone did but considering the world today I'll settle for the cops knowing.
The smile on my face when u stand ur ground & it WORKS!!!!
I couldn’t believe it when he slid that document across the desk to you! How hard was that!?! That’s how all government should operate!! I love how you reminded those ladies that you can get a copy of their security footage and watch them at any time…I don’t think they are really even aware of that fact!!
I must say, I wouldn't exactly give Harrison County an "A" for this interaction, but they did quite well. I think many municipalities across the country can really take a lesson from this video. The whole interaction, especially with the police was much more professional than I'm used to.
Was thinking the same ...like dang these people seem up they're open for reason and letting people live freely
How does your arbitrary scoring system work?
I would definitely give them an A grade, because nobody tried to stop him, no one told him he couldn't record, they weren't rude and they weren't disrespectful.
@@MrButchersTube How exactly is saying they weren't perfect (an "A") arbitrary? Did I actually assign a grade to the interaction? If I said that I give them a B-, that would be arbitrary.
Indiana is a tyrant state.
You should do a FOIA request for the pictures and video that the women collected. That would stimulate the education process of A1
thanks for sharing
Yes please
As a Hoosier, I am very happy this didn’t turn into an arrest! Not the best, but still better than some of your other encounters. Hopefully you do more in Indiana, it was great to see this!
For sure.
We need more people doing things like this!! POLICE ARE GETTING OUTRAGEOUS NOW A DAYS!!!
With today’s technology, almost 100% of the population is walking around with a video camera in their pocket. To think that is strange and unusual, Is absolutely baffling! I love when you point out all the video cameras in the building and they respond that they are for security and safety, which you reply “my camera is for my security and safety”. Even then they don’t really get it. Because it’s not about logic it’s about feelings, and the fact that they are Entitled public servants, they believe that the public should conform to their desires and wishes. How bass Ackwards!🤦🏻♂️
I don't know why the auditor community doesn't understand this: of course, filming is not itself nefarious, but it's the refusal to stop filming when asked, or identify yourself, or actually ask to utilize the services provided, not leaving, etc., COMBINED with the filming is a recipe to trigger suspicion and a potential police response. You are engaging in willful ignorance if you are genuinely surprised that Long Island or any other auditor would be treated suspiciously.
@Sham oof😳
I give shawn an A
Is it just me or does anyone else have to get their "Long Island Audit fix" on a daily dose basis? Great job. I like the variation of not immediately calling yourself an independent journalist.
You are absolutely correct that "in this day and age," etc. is a bunch of nonsense.
Like you said they need to know that it is legal to film public workers in a public building. You did an amazing job as usual Bro!
It is pretty incredible that in a building full of cameras that a government employee comes out with her camera to take photos of a man with a camera and then is upset because the man has a camera just like hers and it's free to use it just like she is? It's all about power and control. Government agencies want to control every aspect of human existence.
And its all caught on camera
Bet you can't say that fast...
Being that its thier first exposure to an audit, they had a reasonably calm response. It seemed organic and almost exciting for the workers. They would do very well in another one moving forward now that they understand its legal and not so odd.
We own that building. We pay their wages. They think we work for them!
Dang Sean, you were just a couple of miles from me! I would had taken you out for lunch if I knew you were in the area. I am very happy and proud to see that this one was not bad compared to the insanity I have seen on even your average audits. Certainly not perfect, but one of the "cleaner" ones for sure. I work in New Albany, IN (10 minutes from where you were) and historically, they've had one of the highest paying Police forces in the State. I've concluded that most citizens, including public officials, are unaware of the laws regarding public photography. Also, it is usual (if irrational) that citizens get nervous or concerned when being recorded. I don't see this as a big deal.
The only time I get concerned is when law enforcement is either unaware of these laws or otherwise use their discretion to harass or try to intimidate public photographers.
True That
its funny they are sensitive to being recorded when they work in a building with recording security cameras literally in every place but the bathrooms.
@@robertsaget9697 You can call it "funny" or "irrational", but from anything I've seen or experienced it is predictable and usual.

I'm sorry I don't usually comment, you do an amazing job keeping your cool. Thank you for taking the arrests for us. My question is if your job is a law enforcement officer why not learn about it. Night classes and public libraries, even the cell phones everyone has will give them a basic understanding of the laws they are trying to enforce. Keep up the good work.
The guy who went and got you the information you requested was excellent. Polite, efficient and quick. No hassle, no fragile ego and no attitude. Obviously, he has good self esteem. I wish more public servants were like him. I have seen very few. Also, the police were good. Evaluated the situation in a polite and low key manner. Determined there was nothing illegal going on and left.
That is how a public records request is supposed to go. If the person with the records is available they are supposed to produce them for you. Although it would be good for them to make a record of the transaction by asking you to fill out some type of form or paperwork, or something. But still a great job by that guy.
I was amazed that they gave u the documents so easily and fast it's so out of character with zero fuss

I really appreciate your style of audit and your commitment. Hi from what I saw you got a very positive reception in contrast to a lot of the other receptions I’ve seen in public buildings you have entered sure They did ask questions but they were not confrontational at all they were not rude they let you go about your business and the auditor accommodated you on the spot I think you should give them a big tick not just say ‘wasn’t too bad’ …you know credit where credit is due! , The building workers and police all tried very hard to keep the interaction as a discussion not an argument , usually in your videos you get at least one person who wants to take you on I didn’t see ‘that’ person in this video. Anyway keep up the good work!!!
