    My dad has been dead since 2001. He had cancer and was dying. He liked me with him at night and my mother during the day. The night before he died I recall what I carried to eat that night, what I was wearing, what his nurse looked like, how i powdered his feet with baby powder, what we talked about, his exact words when telling me goodbye, the feel of his hands that knew work, his yellow eyes from liver cancer that looked at me like I was his little girl again, the sound of the machines, the sound of the clock. He cried. I cried. I prayed for strength. The nurse left us alone in respect our last hours. His room was right across from the nurses station. I remember it all.

      @@ronnie4796Same. I’m 50 years old and would give anything to go back to the hospital to be with my dad, just to hold his hand and tell him how much I love him and thank him for always showing up and for not making me feel like I was a mistake; like my mom did. She just passed a few months ago. She never told me she loved me. Never corrected me when i said I understood why she didn’t want me. I went to be there with and for my sister, not for my mom. It eats me up for being with her her final days, and not my dad. He deserved it. She didn’t.

      My two yr old son passed away, in march of 2000.. in an accidental drowning.. I can tell you what he ate that day, the last time he smiled at me, the way he felt in my arms, the last toy he played with,, what he had on, I can see that entire morning, bc I replay that day over and over and over... not because I want to! But because I'd give anything to change the way it ended. I do believe trauma can mess our minds up, if you ask me how long I held im in the ER, id say 20 mins, later I was told it was hours.. I remember so many things that we did prior, bc I replay them.. but his mind was damaged, the things he does not remember clearly happened BEFORE he was traumatized.. details in the middle of trauma slow down to a crawl, then after the go by like a blur... his crying goes from zero to 100 then back to zero.. it feels odd.. her sisters pain, her story, I could feel it, I literally felt the hurt for her mom... it felt right, genuine and 100% real.. I believe Alex is full of shyt... thats 100% my opinion, and if I'm right, he might want to get right w God before he keeps going this way!! He still has a child who is being torn apart by this entire thing, its horrible!

    Maggie’s sister testified later on that Maggie said Alex asked her to return bc the both needed to go see Alex’s dad or mother and Maggie’s sister said she was reluctant to go to see her MIL or FIL. Here Alex says he went to his Mom’s alone, so why did he make his wife Maggie come all the way home, only to leave her at home while he went alone to go see his dad. I smell a rat. His story stinks.

There was also no important reason given by Alex for the reason he wanted them both to visit the inlaws together in the first place. It was clearly an empty rouse.

    What I love MOST about this video (though it’s dark), is you can see Alex try and manufacture lies in REAL time when the detective asks him questions. And when the detective demolishes the plausibility of those lies because he’s already DONE the thorough homework, you can tell Alex grows more nervous by the minute.

    He lured Maggie there. This was a very well thought out plan. He deleted messages , moved cars, took her phone. Texted her knowing she was dead. Washed floors, he did a whole lot before that 911 call. Pulled up to the kennels and called 911 20 sec later. Yet told them he discovered them and saw the bodies and then called. Impossible. He even knew how long it would take them to get out there. To the point he said he went to get a gun. Horrible man.

    He didn’t even have the “decency” to kill them with one shot to the head from behind so they wouldn’t even know what happened. He was probably trying to avoid getting splattered with blood and other goo, so he shoots Paul in the chest from a short distance, causing a non-incapacitating wound. Paul takes a few steps forward, and Pops shoots him again, this shot successfully killing him. I guess Alex was satisfied the deed was done when his son’s brain popped out and landed on the ground. And does this in front of his wife. As she’s rushing toward her son, he switches from shotgun to rifle and puts two rounds in her - one in the leg, one in the abdomen. She bends over from the pain, and seeing she’s not dead, he moves position and shoots her again. She goes down, but he apparently wasn’t satisfied she was dead, so he steps up and shoots her in the back of the head. So, yeah, both were fully aware they were being murdered and by whom.

    The lawyer friend inadvertently hurt Alec by saying he’d help to get the authorization to unlock Paul’s phone. Irony. Alec seems so transparently guilty here. His initial response to the sapling video was lighthearted then when the detective asked him if it happened on the day of the murder he suddenly clammed up because he had to think about how it could fit into his story. That reaction is very telling.
    Alec’s motive was greed. And probably rage and resentment towards Paul and Maggie.
    He found out on 6/7 that the law firm discovered his fraud and knew he would lose his job and his law license. He knew Maggie would be furious and maybe had reason to think she would divorce him over that, taking a lot of his money with her. He knew the boat case would eventually go against him for a lot of money. He knew he could lose everything including that property. He was probably resentful of Paul for the crash. If he killed Paul then the lawsuit was harder for the other lawyer to pursue.
    Now that the crime scene was laid out in a different video, they said Maggie was shot but not fatally from the front , then he walked around behind her and shot her a couple more times from different angles. This seems to me like he was tormenting her at the end. I think he was enraged with her to be able to do that.

    I have watched this twice now, trying to be open-minded, but he doesn’t even answer the very first question he’s asked. Nearly every question after that gets a really vague or evasive answer. I just think he’s hiding a whole lot.
    Btw, my sister & I I found my mom dead of natural causes (it was completely unexpected) and I remembered every single detail of everything I did between the last time I knew she was alive until I found her. I just cannot relate to a man that has seemingly no memory of any detail of anything he did in the hours leading up to his wife & son’s murder.

    When Alec said, "Whoever did this had been thinking about it for a long time," I think he was being 100% honest and describing himself. I wonder if that day, with getting fired, having his crimes exposed to his closest friends and family, and his professional reputation crushed, along with the huge Beach lawsuit caused by Paul's a**holery breathing down his neck, with Maggie waking up to his crimes and not wanting to sell her properties (which would've given him some crucial financial relief), along with his likely being on narcotic painkillers - i wonder if he snapped and vented his rage at the ones he blamed for putting him in such a bad situation. I think the sympathy he hoped for wasn't the motive, but a way he hoped would help cover his crime. I think Maggie and Paul had become big liabilities for him, and sociopaths don't have any empathy to hold them back (as evidenced by his financial crimes). And that day triggered his plan. But who knows - i'm looking forward to defense testimony.

Man who was apparently out of touch with his wife's medical issues, his son's serious issue with his swollen feet and high blood pressure, which was; and should've been treated as; in all actuality, an emergency visit to the hospital, (and was most likely, very painful and scary for Paul, may he R.I.P.), out of touch with his dying father, his severely Alzheimer suffering mother, his surviving son, out of touch with his law partners, brothers, close friends, neighbors; damn, he was even out of touch with the dogs on his property; not to mention his awareness of the location of family guns on the the property, or even any clarity on actual threats to Paul; and repeatedly states how there was no one else there that night even for dogs to detect, or where his clothes are that he changed out of suspiciously...this man was a shell of a person and a wrecking ball to his entire family for generations to come! I learned in one of my psychology classes that we tend to move our hands subconsciously. When we speak, when someone is explaining and telling the truth, they tend to show the palm of their hands with their subtle movements. Alex kept his arms crossed and close to his body and legs crossed. He also clenched his hands by making a few fists occasionally. Alex never opens up his hands like the interviewer. Alex was nervous; you can see it when he is shaking his leg and nodding his head. I'm sure the interviewer/detective noticed his body language as well. When he asked those questions about how soon Pual and his wife died after being shot, it was another clue he wanted to make sure they did die immediately so they wouldn't talk. Only he knew that the first shot did not kill Paul.

    • @PandaWrangler_professional
      @PandaWrangler_professional Рік тому +3

      I noticed his body language too when he was asking those specific questions about how quickly did they die, did they suffer, etc. It looks like in those moments when he is visibly upset, that he is genuinely feeling something. Could be guilt or remorse, but it looks genuine. We have to remember at one point he did love them, maybe still does, but their deaths were a means to an end. In that moment he saw them as expendable, especially Paul since he was obviously a wild child, bringing drama onto them with the boat crash among other things. Maggie was a witness who needed to be silenced, as well as if there was talk of a divorce, his misdeeds were going to come to light. Just my opinion
