I hope the Kostial family sues for defamation, I’ll be reacting and following this case on this video production. People need to learn that being with someone doesn't mean being in a relationship with their family. It's about one person with another person. Not a community project.
With all due respect, this was one of the contributing factors to what happened - that she was trying to cling on to a one sided relationship. How he acted cant be justified at all, i am not blaming her for his actions, but she could have chosen to simply walk away from this cowardly man.
True. But there are this kind of girls who like to drag after someone who disrespects them and not going out with a 'nice guy' They WANT this emotional rollercoaster. After getting some life experience some women overcome this and settle down. Not everybody, unfortunately.
@@anonymouzxx There are women who are attracted to “bad boys”! That’s the theory behind the women who are attracted to people like Ted Bundy. Guys like Bundy receive sacks of fan mail. 1) Children don’t tell their parents “everything”. 2) Parents educate your sons and daughters on how to build and nurture self-esteem and how to behave and what to expect in a healthy relationship.
For that to happen 'parents' needed to be something other than naive little brats conditioned into magical thinking & socially accepted behavior themselves who are bringing their kids up with the same nonsense society has tried to spoon-feed people for centuries. It would require critical thinking. If you have a kid 'being bubbly & getting along with everyone' that's a red flag. That girl unfortunately had no self esteem. The young brain sometimes doesnt realize the potential it has and what the future holds. What a sad ordeal for the parents.
It seems like her mom raised her to go to college to find a husband. She was very bubbly as she described thst mindset of her daughter. It's a weird flex to have catching a husband in college on your mind in 2016, unless you were raised to think it's your focus.
Yep. No self esteem at all plus pretty superficial. Should have concentrated on college instead of drinking and begging a guy to be with her. I’m just really mad she wasted her life like that. It’s like she was pushing pushing pushing and then he snapped. It all could have been avoided.
@shawandabonner9681 I didn't see any indication that her mother raised her that way. Some women have the family mindset and want to settle down and there's no shame in that. What is a shame is that she chased after someone who didn't deserve her attention.
@rosem, A lot of girls are like that, even today. Ole Miss and many other Southern schools are notorious for having sorority girls who focus more on sorority life than education. Not saying I agree with it, but it's the reality for many women.

So sad. I immediately said “ she was pregnant “ when they mentioned he didn’t have any history of violence. Idk if she was really pregnant at one point or not . However, I’ve learned from these crime shows that it’s best to leave men alone once they make it clear that they want nothing to do with you or the baby. You just never know how far someone is willing to go to make you and that baby disappear.
Same. The desperation, her longer messages, all of it - she was pregnant, scared, and he was withdrawing. He never really cared about her and backed away when she needed him most.

These young women really need to protect themselves better, and not let themselves become feeling so desperate or needy for love and affection. Your safety is always number one and should be respected above all else.
He is a horrible individual but at the same time, that constant bombardment of insane text messages from her would have tipped many people over the edge. I don't have much respect for either of them

You learn through death. You keep that memory in you in the afterlife then you come back to do better. So she is dead because of unfortunate decisions in that life but she will do better in the next one.
Poor Ally. I wish she knew what lay ahead & chose herself instead. May her family find peace & comfort in knowing that she is resting & surrounded by the love she desperately desired. She doesn’t have to worry about the perils of this world. I wish all young women can take a lesson from this, if someone doesn’t reciprocate the love, kindness, respect that you give, then they aren’t for you. Leave them today!
What a shame. Poor Ally was delusional and naive in thinking that being pregnant would bring her and Brandon closer together. Somehow she was unable to except, or even sense, that Brandon was pulling away from her. If she had had the presence of mind to get examined by a medical doctor to confirm or deny the pregnancy, her reasoning process regarding their lopsided relationship might have been more realistic - and Brandon wouldn't have had to be so panicked. She wanted it to be all rainbows and unicorns with him, and he didn't want it at all. Sad.

@watchmeheal1176 Well it's obvious she was trying to trap him by saying she was pregnant. Even the psychiatrist said her posts went on and on and he barely responded, and when he did, it was only to tell her he wasn't interested. And even still she would send pictures of her stomach, almost rubbing it in his face that she was pregnant. Then telling him how she was out binge drinking. I don't think she would have been drinking if she was pregnant, And the autopsy showed she wasn't pregnant. She was basically torturing the guy and trying anything she could to get his attention. Not saying what he did was right, but she tried playing games with someone that wasn't stable And it didn't turn out so well
@@madelainemadelaine2934 I don't recall if the photo of the pregnancy test showed anything proving it to be hers, like showing her hand in the picture holding the test or something in the background showing it was taken in her apartment. How do you send someone strength? I understand saying prayers, but please be careful what you say/write esp. when only God can do something you claim to do. This distracts from the seriousness of this tragedy.
She was used to getting whatever she wanted. As stated she was the most beautiful esteem filled cutie. She was going to get her way, even if it wasn't with this killer
So sad. This was by no means “love” but obsession. The poor girl just could not accept that sometimes someone is just not interested. In this case he was desperate and committed the worst felony after trying to gain courage with alcohol and drugs. Coming from such a great family; so sad that this guy couldn’t reach out to his supportive and loving parents.
From how her friends described, it seems like she really didn’t have relationships in high school which is can show up as attaching yourself to the first guy you fall for thinking that just because you had sex. Her texts definitely had a desperate tone to them. It seems like this might’ve been a “first time thing” she was trying desperately to hold on to.
Stop crying over him - he slept with her knowing how she feels and knowing he doesn't feel the same. He was using her for sex and when problem poped he killed her. Its gross you you all act like its okay what he did and he is so poor.

Kids, don't get hooked on anyone, when you are that young. Have fun. Date. ENJOY YOUR LIFE. Make memories with your family and friends. When you find the one, you will know it. You won't have to force them to invest in you or the relationship . They will be there. When its Real Love, it will be reciprocated. They'll give you as much as you give them. Wow...she really held him hostage using the threat of pregnancy as a weapon. Apparently, she couldn't accept that he was just not that in to her. Very sad for the families.
Used the threat of pregnancy as a weapon? Thats a bit extreme--the only person using a weapon in this situation was Brandon. She wanted to be with him seriously and he just wanted to hookup with her. Once things got complicated, he thought this was the only way out because he’s a coward.
A lot of people here are victim blaming Ally, like they never experienced bad decisions in life, being young and experienced. What happened to her was a tragedy. My sympathy for her family.
This is very sad. This girl seemed to be attempting to manipulate this boy who appears to be weak. The pregnancy seems to have been a ploy to get her way. Neither one of them seem to have understood how to behave in a honorable fashion.
I was about to say this. She was provoking him with those text pics of her stomach fully knowing how he felt about having a kid. It doesn't justify what he did, AT ALL, he's a dirtbag murderer, but still curious why she thought it okay to do that.
I am going to say something here, that is going to be very unpopular. And most likely, will be taken wrong by some. First off, she did not deserve to be violently taken from this world by anyone. I always advocate for women, and girls, to be heard and to be able to be safe in their everyday lives. BUT, in my opinion, she seemed very obsessed with him. She was WAY into him. He did not reciprocate those feelings back to her, at least not in the text conversations. She honestly was riding the line of stalker-ish behavior. This girl seemed very smart, well educated. Someone who also seemed to care a lot for those closest to her. I do not believe that she was pregnant at all. I think it was a ruse to keep him in her life. He was slipping away from her, and she had to pull something off to keep him close to her. There is no way she would conaume alcohol if she were truly pregnant. No way. And her constantly making remarks about the home pregnancy tests, and not being able to possibly hide her belly.....well, it drove him crazy. No, he shouldn't have taken hwr life. Its qrong on every level. It's too bad, that he didn't feel safe or comfortable enough to come to his parents about this issue that he seemed to be struggling with. Im sure they would have advised him in an appropriate way. So many lives ruined here. And a young lady, who is gone forever, over something that may or may have not even been true at all. Like i said, this is just an opinion. No way did she deaerve this.
This story will stay with me. I’m trying hard to instill into my own children NO relationship is worth more than the relationship you have with yourself. Ally chased him so hard it’s painful to watch but I think so many women have been “that girl” when we were young. You have to know when someone is not into you, or just using you for sex, respect your own dignity and just leave him alone. Unfortunately for sweet Ally it had such tragic consequences.
Seems like she kept a LOT from her parents as well. The mom said she told her everything. Obviously not. I have 2 daughters and we’re very close. But I also know they aren’t going to tell me every single thing. They both went to college and both had very different experiences. Both have their degrees one is married with 2 kids. The other one is single & happy. But this poor girl was missing something in her life to feel the need to fake a pregnancy. And if he didn’t like / love her, he should have just left her alone. Two lives ruined. This was so sad to watch.
She isn’t here to defend herself or sue the program for defamation. Defense lawyers will say anything to stop their client getting the death sentence, in my eyes she did nothing wrong except meeting an abusive psychopath.
As a parent myself, I do exactly as the mother of the boy said. We need to talk to our kids. You NEVER know what is going on behind those smiles or abrupt changes. Nothing to do of being teens or young adults. Nothing to do with she got her period, etc. Hou never know! Talk to them as I hope your parents did to you!
You can talk till above and beyond!!! Ultimately they they are of a legal age, we us parents! Can only voice our opinions, and wants! But then the law steps in? Parental wants excluded. In my opinion our children, as parents should have a legal status over them till they are out of full-time education.
What Ally didn't know? She knew she wasn't pregnant yet still proceeded to torment her "boyfriend". That ended up costing her her life. I might choose a different title for this sad story.
I think one of the most frustrating things is when heterosexual people are sexually active they act surprised when a pregnancy happens. Even if you use protection there is always the possibility of getting pregnant and the conversation about what would occur if it happens should be before having sex. I feel bad for Ally, like she was clearly way too into Brandon when he was only wanting casual hookups. It sounded like she got caught up in her dream of meeting a southern gentleman at college and tried to make it happen with a crazy, selfish person that only wanted her for one thing. RIP Ally.
If a man starts threatening you to cease a pregnancy, do not meet with him alone. Period! No matter how much he sweet talks you. Remember 3 hours ago or yesterday he didn't want that baby. 👀
Wow, how sad. This girl played a dangerous game with a dangerous boy. She was very manipulative and he was a ticking time bomb. His immature brain allowed him to make a very immature decision.
Yea, parents need to teach their kids to not hold onto people who don't want what they want. Had she moved on she'd still be here. I'm sure that guy would've eventually done something else stupid (or worse), at least she would've had a chance to grow up and live her life.
I don’t see any victim blaming here. Just people stating what happened. That said this is ridiculous what this guy did. He is truly a dangerous character who should never be free. What kind of response is this? Absolutely horrific behaviour.
It annoyed me that the mom says "oh she tells me everything" but doesn't want to know what was really going on in her daughter's life by reading her texts. Her mom's parenting style is probably why she was ill-prepared for college life. Two people that were about as mismatched as two people could be. Girls/women, think more of yourselves than marriage being your end all/be all in life. This woman tried to manipulate a man into marrying her and paid with her life, unfortunately.
It’s NOT that the Mom didn’t want to know what was really going on in her daughter’s life when she was alive. It’s more likely those text messages would be very traumatic for the parents to read after they lost her. They have ALREADY experienced enough trauma (which can likely be seen on an MRI scan.) People really need to be more sensitive to these people’s pain. FFS, can we JUST be a little more empathetic for other people’s suffering??? It’s NOT that hard! 🤦♀️
Girl was obsessed with the boyfriend. Very toxic. His mom’s statement was perfectly put together. Let’s teach our kids to come to us to tell us whatever it is and fix it together before they commit a crime or hurt someone else trying to solve their issues. And let’s teach our daughters to leave when they don’t want them as girlfriends instead of tormenting boys who wants nothing to do with them.
Seems like she tried to trap him. I’m sure she knew she wasn’t pregnant. I can’t imagine she’d be drinking heavily if she was, or suspected she was. She was probably trying to test his true feelings about her ‘pregnancy’ by telling him she’d been drinking. So sad that she was so hooked on this evil man. RIP Ally. 😢
I was 28 when I got pregnant outside of marriage. I found out after we had split up and the decision to keep my son was mine alone. I regret nothing. If she had been pregnant they would have found evidence of a pregnancy or miscarriage. To use a supposed pregnancy to keep a man is manipulative and deceptive. Mothers-to-be have had their babies cut from their wombs because a woman has lied about her own pregnancy. I feel for her, for him and the families who must be going through hell.

There’s no single explanation for this, other than a theory that some women are attracted to alpha males because their genes are more geared toward survival.

Because really you could google that and get pictures that she could have sent him.
My prayers go out to the heartbroken parents and to Ally's best friend. I'm sending strength to help deal with their loss. Ally was a beautiful girl. RIP 🙏🕊️
It was very hard to watch.

In GENUINE care, emotions and actions.
True indeed. Youth is truly wasted on the young.

Two things never to do: tell your husband he’ll never see the kids again when you want a divorce, and telling a guy you’re pregnant when you aren’t.
Neither one of things deserves death

Wow...she really held him hostage using the threat of pregnancy as a weapon. Apparently, she couldn't accept that he was just not that in to her. Very sad for the families.
Why he started a relationship with her?? He wanted use her as his time pass?
If he was not into her than he had enough time to break up and don’t waste her time.

Same could honestly be said for him
All these stories are humbling and shows at a moment’s notice it all can be taken away by evil.
Well said.
There was no pregnancy. She flat-out lied about it.
She made some bad decisions
He's a 100% responsible no matter what.
She isn’t here to defend herself or sue the program for defamation. Defense lawyers will say anything to stop their client getting the death sentence, in my eyes she did nothing wrong except meeting an abusive psychopath.
Parents should learn... Your kids won't tell you everything.
You can’t make someone want you, love you, or want to have a life with you.
His mom sounds like a wise woman. One can only wonder how her child did not realize that she felt that way.
Mom’s message was very heartfelt. Will definitely share that message with my own sons. ❤
What Ally didn't know? She knew she wasn't pregnant yet still proceeded to torment her "boyfriend". That ended up costing her her life. I might choose a different title for this sad story.
Ally's trick backfired on her

I think one of the most frustrating things is when heterosexual people are sexually active they act surprised when a pregnancy happens. Even if you use protection there is always the possibility of getting pregnant and the conversation about what would occur if it happens should be before having sex. I feel bad for Ally, like she was clearly way too into Brandon when he was only wanting casual hookups. It sounded like she got caught up in her dream of meeting a southern gentleman at college and tried to make it happen with a crazy, selfish person that only wanted her for one thing. RIP Ally.
I believe everyone knows homosexuals do not produce children.
She wasn't pregnant.
yes! it drives me crazy! they’re always shocked. i’d be shocked if college-aged kids didn’t get pregnant
So sad. Believe a guy when he is not into you! Sex before marriage is a dangerous thing.
There was no pregnancy, understand? Ally was manipulative and conniving and a stalker.
So heartbreaking to see this young girl’s life taken! I hope her family heals and find peace
If a man starts threatening you to cease a pregnancy, do not meet with him alone. Period! No matter how much he sweet talks you. Remember 3 hours ago or yesterday he didn't want that baby. 👀
Maybe don’t stalk and lie about being pregnant?
Wow, how sad. This girl played a dangerous game with a dangerous boy. She was very manipulative and he was a ticking time bomb. His immature brain allowed him to make a very immature decision.
Well said.
Yea, parents need to teach their kids to not hold onto people who don't want what they want. Had she moved on she'd still be here. I'm sure that guy would've eventually done something else stupid (or worse), at least she would've had a chance to grow up and live her life.
How tacky to victim blame.
I don’t see any victim blaming here. Just people stating what happened. That said this is ridiculous what this guy did. He is truly a dangerous character who should never be free. What kind of response is this? Absolutely horrific behaviour.
Not immature. Evil.
I wish these young college students would realize that just because they are at college, they are not safe.
They have ALREADY experienced enough trauma (which can likely be seen on an MRI scan.)
People really need to be more sensitive to these people’s pain.
I agree fully
He was never her boyfriend.
He should have used protection
He is NOT a victim.
