I just found this channel , and love it you are just real, my mother used mayonnaise jars she never wasted any jars, she said as long as it seals that’s all that matters .
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!!! Green tomatoes are my favorite!! I've heard of canning them but wasn't sure how to do it. I froze them on year. They are mushy that way but when your desperate lol. And you remind me so much of myself when you can laugh at yourself❤❤❤
Ty Georgia I love your cooking shows . So good. I done some of the green tomatoes the way you showed us here and they come out perfect. I fried some today for lunch. Ill never do them any other way.
I thought when I seen you taking them jars that you was holding it backwards. You’re so funny. I love that you can laugh at yourself like I do myself. 😂🤣
I need a recipe for green tomatoes, I can only remember my mom useing water vinegar and salt with the hot banana peppers, but I don’t remember how much of each ingredient that she mix: water, vinegar and salt if you can help me out on the recipe I sure would appreciate it. And thank you for showing us how to do this one for the frying green tomatoes
Do you not add any citrus to it? I canned some green tomatoes this summer for the first time and I’m not happy the way mine looks. Yours didn’t shrink like mine did. Thanks for sharing. Love watching videos of yours.
Now how do you can homemade tomato soup? I yearn for my mamas. As a child I would drink it right out of the canning jar. Oh precious memories. Glad you are back 😊
@@georgiamillionmeals4753I know there was no tomato seeds in it. Lots of veggies. Tomato's, onion, peppers, celery. But I do not know the recipe. She would use it as a sauce also for cheap meats to make a great meal. Oh my mama was an awesome cook like you. Just the basics but healthy.
@@georgiamillionmeals4753 I enjoy watching you and I would love to meet you someday I love it because you're down to earth and you're just a real person caring and trying to share your wisdom I appreciate it very much
I love green fried tomatoes. Going to try this method. Thanks for sharing

Georgia, I read home preservation that you can cut vegetables up to an inch or inch n half so I think you're good on your thick/thin slices lol

No vinegar? jus salt and water?
You only add canning salt and no citric acid?
Right .... green tomatoes have more acid in them than any tomato
