Such a great video! I find ur stretching vdo is the best! No unnecessary talking that is irrelevant or disrupts the flow of the stretch. And the moves really do release the tension! I've been following the neck/shoulder one and just found this one today! So helpful

I’m blessed to have come across your videos. I follow a few choice videos, since my instructor quick. I do more yoga now then before. I pulled my lower back as it’s been a problem with tight hamstrings and a small injury when I was young. Stressed has grabbed a hold on my neck and shoulders as well. Your soothing, slow movement videos I’ve watched so far have truly released the pain and tension. They are short enough to fit in throughout the day. Thank you for your time, talent and knowledge.

I've been looking for an upper body stretch for a long time, and finally I've found one that really works! Thank you so much for this, it's amazing and really opens up my upper back and shoulders in the best way ever! It's only painful because I am so tight! But it's a sweet pain for sure!!

another great practice for anyone who is on crutches... I am approaching my - i hope - final week on those things and while I built great upper body strength, so did I built up tightness... and this one helps!

thank you for posting these videos. I did your first one with the neck release and it helped quite a bit. I have cervical dystonia and my neck muscles are super tight.

Thank you, Paula and Mischa, for such a beautiful and unique practise. I started my yoga journey around 2 years ago and I found much of my routines became quite repetitive as I moved along, and some of the areas I was trying to target weren't quite feeling looser or stronger. Your poses and explanations have helped me realign my shoulders and shoulder blades, especially the micro muscles in the direct vicinity, I can truly feel them activating and working towards improvement. I have had an injury in my left collarbone which hasn't healed correctly throughout the years. I have to admit, I've seen more progress working with you than with any other online instructor. Congratulations to the team, I will advertise this channel to everyone I know. Thank you again, stay safe and keep up the amazing work!!

wow your videos give me the deepest stretches i've ever experienced in a yoga class....after years of going to yoga regularly! I'm so tight in my upper body due to an unforgiving desk job and other bad habits. When you said think about the thoughts in the first stretches all i could think was "holy fuck this is amazing." Thank you

First day I tried this I couldnot reach my hand to the wall, it was so painful. But after I tried for several week practices Im getting better now, even with a bit of pain though with my stiff shoulders.

Good on you for persisting! There are some deep stretches here :). I do not have any specific weight loss videos, however, you could definitely try any of the more dynamic practices that are at least 20-30min long (for example: ua-cam.com/video/CWEgcm86z-w/v-deo.html) and that will support overall physical health :)

I loved this. I have a question Paula. When I did the first bit of placing the palm on the wall, my inner arm hurt a lot. Any reason for that? Should I keep doing it?
Thank you! There will be strong sensation along the inner edge of the arm as it's a very strong stretch right into the front of the shoulder/chest area. I would recommend trying to not to take the hand directly behind you on the wall - maybe slightly forward to decrease the stretch/sensation. Try and gauge whether it 'hurts' or whether there are strong tingling/stretching sensations that you can manage to breathe through to soften - if it 'hurts' I would listen to your body and back out a bit, or miss entirely. xx
I have the same experience- it’s a type of hurt that seems different than a usual stretching sensation and made me check the comments to see if anyone else felt this way! I wasn’t sure if it was a “good hurt” or a bad one! It almost seems like it’s more of a nerve thing, but it’s hard to say. And I don’t even feel it in my shoulder because the arm pain is too intense to go far enough to stretch the shoulder/chest.
And another note: it seems to be related to the way the hand/wrist is flexed- doesn’t matter if I move my hand forward more on the wall. But if I un-flex the hand/wrist (like by making a fist against the wall instead), I can get to more of a stretching sensation & stretch into the arm/shoulder/chest.

I found the first positions an incredible stretch for my hands and fore arms. But for the rest, my injuries could not tolerate the strain. A shame.
Yes this is quite a strong practice for the upper body, hope there are some other practices in the upper body playlist that are more suitable :)
