With 4 herniated cervical discs, I follow along with a plethora of different upper back/neck Yoga videos at least 5 days a week. In all of them, many of the stretches are quite similar. Until this video. This was an absolutely fantastic approach to what ended up being very restorative yoga. I love that at no point does the neck need to be extended beyond the limitations of someone with a neck injury. When I was new to the practice of yoga for my neck, I hadn't yet figured out that with a permanent injury such as that I have, that some of the poses could do more harm than good as far as causing pain goes, and so feel your approach to getting those same areas stretched out in a way that protects the neck from overextension is a flipping god/goddess-send. Also, this is the first time Ive left a comment for any video, ever, if that speaks to how fantastic I thought this video was. Furthermore, it offers stretches of areas in the shoulders and upper-mid back that are quite uncommon. That whole region feels amazing after this video, instead of even more sore!
