Only reason I ever have a problem with your statement is, well, Beatles. I rationalize it by saying LZ is the greatest hard rock/blues band of all time. Not to sell LZ short but I don't know of another band more influential than the Beatles. That being said, Led Zeppelin is at the top of my personal list.
WoW OmgOmgOmg so envious yet so very happy for you dang where is that confounded **Time Machine** already!!! I NEED to get back there heh **RockOn!!!**
That is a once in a lifetime experience. But do you not think the downside is whatever band you go to see you will compare to the MSG show. And I seriously don't think they will better this
NOT a stupid reaction - it's the APPEAL of this BAND!! The CONFIDENCE that Plant exuded on stage was astounding - and, the tight and unifying qualities they exhibited with all their separate parts seemingly being AS ONE: JUST PRICELESS!!! They are gonna MAKE YOU FEEL a certain way: with EVERY TUNE!! They REALLY "laid it out there" - and, we SOAKED IT ALL IN!! I don't think I'll EVER stop loving this band! A UNIQUE GEM!!! SO GOOD! So GLAD to see you both enjoying them!! HUGS from Texas!!
I haven't had this much fun watching a music reaction in ages. I grew up listening to "The Mighty Zepplin", as they were known, and it is great to see such appreciation for what is unarguably one of the greatest gifts to music of all time. If it were me, I would have sent Led Zepplin's music into space alongside Chuck Berry's.
You are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT when you say they couldn’t pull any of this off without any single one of them. They were a cosmic accident and their chemistry could not be rekindled by replacing any one member. That’s why they disbanded when Bonzo died.
Led Zep are virtuoso musicians. But more importantly they were on the same musical wavelength and in perfect synch with each other when you watch them live it borders on telepathy
The unmatched raw power of this band at the height of their dominance, late July 1973 at MSG where 3 nights of filming took place for the future release of their movie soundtrack *The Song Remains the Same* This is a track that you should sample (off LZ III - released Oct5th 1970) the studio version for, so you can see how masterful they were at recreating the music live, full of improv and drama that mesmerized their fans since their inception! Robert will have vocal chord repair surgery done following the end of this tour, and many other happenings that will influence and change the band going forward. Anything from these performances captured on film is considered among the best of their live shows!

It is not a stretch to say that Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest groups of musicians ever assembled. I've been a fan since 1971 when I was 13 years old and first heard "Living Loving Maid" on the radio. I got Led Zeppelin II for Christmas that year and that cemented it. I wish I could be on your journey hearing this phenomenal music for the first time. The good news is that you are just scratching the surface. Any live performance by these guys is worth watching. Among my favorites are "Whole Lotta Love" from MSG 1973, "In My Time of Dying" from Earl's Court 1975, "Kashmir" from Knebworth 1979 or Celebration Day 2007, and "Dazed and Confused" from MSG 1973. Love your honesty and openness.
I swear, ya'll make me feel like i'm 16 again watching the movie ("The Song Remains the Same") which was released as an album as well - I totally agree with the comments below...this is LZ at their absolute best - ANY SONG from this 3-day show is incredible - now I am going to send you more cash for the holidays if you could find time, once you digest this experience, to react to either "In My Time of Dying" from the 1975 Earls Court show or "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" from the Danmarks Radio show in 1969 - both live performances...the '69 event is baby zep...robert plant and john bonham are around 20ish if i remember correctly...both are incredible performances...personally, Plant's voice, Page's slide guitar (only time he used slide guitar that i can remember) and Bonham's drum fills on "In My Time of Dying" are just amazing...and you have probably figured out by now that in their live performances, they did not play any song the same way twice...if you ever decide to watch//react to Stairway to Heaven from the MSG show in '73 yu will immediately appreciate the improvisational skills of the band as you have already reacted to the studio version of that song...again thanks for making me feel young again!!!
OhMyGosh YESSS!!! to all...they so have to see them when they were pretty much just starting out with that Danmarks Radio Show for sure! so young so beautiful YAY
You said it all, their power as a band was each and everyone of them. Once in a life time coming together of four unique, gifted individuals. Thank you for this reaction.
Another nice reaction to the heroes of my youth. You haven't mispronounced the band so far. Zeppelin is a German word and is only spoken Zepplin in English-speaking countries. The band had a lot of trouble with Baron von Zeppelin's heiress at the beginning of their career and had to change their name to "the Nobs" for a few concerts in Denmark. “Since if been lovin you” is blues rock. I recommend you "Bring it on Home" from the Royal Albert Hall concert from 1970 concert. It starts as blues and becomes hard rock. Robert Plant's vocals are even better here than in Madison Square Garden and he also plays the harmonica here. If you'd rather hear a studio version, I recommend "When the Levee breaks".
@@BBaldwin Jimmy Page had almost calmed her down with his charm until she saw the record cover with the burning "Hindenburg". Then Eva von Zeppelin went into a fit of rage and the conversation ended.
So glad you reacted to this masterpiece one of the greatest live performances ever. You should react to "Achilles last stand" at Knebworth 79. Very special to me as I was there and my favorite Led Zeppelin song. Love your reactions 😁🤗💕🎶
You're just getting started on their Discography. They were head and shoulders above their contemporaries and shall sustain as long as music is played.

Great reaction! You said it - I feel so much better and happier knowing that this song, something like this exists - I feel the same way. A true masterpiece of Blues Rock!
The 28 minute version of Dazed and Confused from this concert is the greatest guitar performance ever recorded! Unfortunately, it's been removed from YT and the only way to see it is if you have the DVD. Whole Lotta Love from this show is also one of the all-time great performances just like this one.

Great reaction to a great performance. Thanks so much! There just isn't any other rock band that can evoke from listeners the kinds of reactions that you're experiencing. Without a doubt, they are the GOATS! Your pronunciation of the band's name has been fine. Zeppelin has three syllables, zep·pe·lin, and while some people don't pronounce the second syllable, thus more like "zeplin", one can clearly hear during various interviews that the band members pronounce it "zep-pe-lin". ;) I recommend giving the song, "I Can't Quit You Baby", from their 1970 Royal Albert Hall concert a listen. I think you'd enjoy it a lot. Edit: I know that you reacted to the studio version of "Stairway to Heaven", but you seem to be enjoying LZ's live performances quite a bit. I recommend watching their performance of it during this same concert. Excellent! I'd love to hear/watch your reaction to it. :)
This live performance really showcases just how good the four of them were not only as musicians but performers. What I love about this is how they all play off of each other during the song especially how Jimmy Page fills the spaces with improvised lines between Plant's singing. But it's not just them. If you listen to John Paul Jones bass lines and of course Bonham's drum playing they are adjusting they're playing as well depending on how Plant is singing and Page is playing. It's a truly remarkable performance and shows Zeppelin's unique genius.
I was lucky enough to see them in Scotland just a few months before that MSG gig. What an experience! As for Robert Plant, every man there wanted to be him and every woman wanted to have him (in fact, probably a few of the men did too).
Ah WoW so very lucky for you! YAY but for me **JimmyPage** is **MyCosmicSpiritSoulmateGeniusWizardBabe** heh but yes i agree most i guess fall for Plant & yea even men & even guys who say they are straight say he is well ha they say all dif kinds of things but all meaning the same thing that he is a babe to them heh RockOn!!!
Yes, Dominika, I see what you feel. I was exactly the same waaaay back in the "80's and for so long. Had Zeppelin posters covering every inch of my teen age room including the ceiling.
What a fantastic observation "they wouldn't be able to pull that of off like that if one of them was missing"! That's music, it's actually as much about the personalities as the musical skill!
My favorite Led Zeppelin performance, and one of my favorite performances by anyone. The way Plant and Page play off each other is so unique. It's almost like they have telepathy. The chemistry in this band was insane, which is why they had to disband when John Bonham sadly passed away.
I feel your pain. This band will drop you to your knees, and there is nothing close to compare. The hubby is such a cool, secure man. I dig him. And the wife is lost inside the Robert Plant spell. Love you guys

I think Dominica is blushing 😂. Saw them in 1974 in Ft. Worth Texas! Still remember how blown away I was!
This song is awesome!! Excellent song from Led Zeppelins third album. ❤
Your so right. It is a whole body experience. 😊
This is such a masterful and emotive performance from the masters themselves. Watching Dominica react to Robert in all his resplendent glory made me giggle after decades of reacting exactly the same visceral way to this golden god 😂
Your joyfulness always makes me smile! ❤
Insane performance.
So I was correct telling my mom and dad that led zeppelin is the best thing ever ever ever when I was a teenager in the 70s and 80s and of course my parents listened to that type of music 😮😂because I always played it very loud and all the time 😂❤ love you mom and dad ❤❤❤❤see you on the other side ✌️🖖🤘
Love you guys, you get it.
Great reaction....so much fun. Try: Ten Years Gone....either studio, or live at Knebworth, 1979.
Thank You!! This performance is one of my favourites as well!!!! You may enjoy "Babe, I'm Going To Leave You". Again, a total package experience!!!
I'm your newest subscriber 12/19/2023. Loved your reaction to Led Zeppelin, honest and similar to mine 50 years AGO. Good luck to you both.
I’m glad you are finally discovering LED ZEPPELIN better late than never
Love you guys and what a fantastic song this is! The GOAT!
Great reaction to a great performance. Thanks so much! There just isn't any other rock band that can evoke from listeners the kinds of reactions that you're experiencing. Without a doubt, they are the GOATS!
Your pronunciation of the band's name has been fine. Zeppelin has three syllables, zep·pe·lin, and while some people don't pronounce the second syllable, thus more like "zeplin", one can clearly hear during various interviews that the band members pronounce it "zep-pe-lin". ;)
I recommend giving the song, "I Can't Quit You Baby", from their 1970 Royal Albert Hall concert a listen.
Not a stupid reaction, quite the opposite, it is a real and honest reaction, this was all of us in the 1970’s 😎
What a fantastic observation "they wouldn't be able to pull that of off like that if one of them was missing"! That's music, it's actually as much about the personalities as the musical skill!
Zeppelin RULES.
My favorite Led Zeppelin performance, and one of my favorite performances by anyone. The way Plant and Page play off each other is so unique. It's almost like they have telepathy. The chemistry in this band was insane, which is why they had to disband when John Bonham sadly passed away.
Sweet grew up with them never dies 🚀
Glad you both were infused with this song of pain.timeless Zep!!!
I feel your pain. This band will drop you to your knees, and there is nothing close to compare. The hubby is such a cool, secure man. I dig him. And the wife is lost inside the Robert Plant spell. Love you guys
You are now ready to climb the Stairway to Heaven! On the same live show in fact.
