Jons is very good but you don't need to see him, but a Plant is imposible not looking. Bonhan was very Cool to see. Page of course was a big, very big guitarist. of all times.@@christopherone1
Helene here. Robert Plant was asked years later if his stage persona was carefully crafted. Some of it was....he knew he was sexy as hell and one gorgeous dude, and he developed certain gestures that became associated with him. He was all about power and grace onstage. But, when asked if the person onstage was ‘someone other than yourself” he said no....that was all me.....I just FELT the music.

In the biography When the giants walked the earth, Peter Grant, his manager, recognized that Plant had a good instrument .Bonhan Almohad a good drumstick. But it wasn't like that, he was still very sexy and sang like God. Was Really a Golden God.
Plant turned 20, the day after their first rehearsal together, which was on August 19,1968. They were only together about 2 months, when they recorded their debut album. They performed 6 gigs as The New Yardbirds in Scandinavia, between August 19,1968, & late September or October when they recorded it.

Easily. They cleared every band in pure power, sound, instrumental perfection. They had no weakness, and every member would be the most skilled on nearly every band. Just won't see something like it again.
One of the best live performances, if not the best of all time, not many can match, set the bar pretty damn hi. IMO. I saw them in 77 at the Forum, was totally blown away..........
i can’t stress this enough, PLEASE keep your eyes open and watch the video it adds a lot to their vibe and the music, your passing up an opportunity to actually see them perform
Pre Led Zep, Robert Plant was a regular visitor at a weekly blues club I used to play at. He was always willing to get up and do a couple of numbers with us---- he didn't need to be asked more than once!
You gotta listen deeper so you can hear the rhythm section of John Paul Jones and John Bonham on Bass & Drums because without them this guitar solo doesn’t work!
You have only just begun! Do everything from this concert! Try The Song Remains The Same/The Rain Song! Killer! Believe me they are always like that on stage...trust me!
Hay que oirlos de jovben y escucharlos en profundidad con una cierta visión...De que son el presente mas rabioso de un futuro ya ganado en un pasado magico donde unos seres maravillosos hacían trizas etiketas y stereotipos. Adimensional. Atemporal. No hay Dioses máspoderosos en ningún Olimpo.
Such joy watching you watch that!! Your faces explained everything!! And such great comments. Yes all that power from only 4 musicians. That's Led Zeppelin magic. Their performance is so good it's almost painful. I agree - it's a work of art AND THIS IS FROM 1973 almost 50 years ago!!!!! - I think it's the greatest rock performance that I've seen, too. Their music gets inside you and this performance does that massively it gets into your nerve endings. You'll find this level of dedication in all of their concert footage. I always suggest to listen to the studio version first to get the great musicianship and production of the song. But a live performance of a song if it's available is a WHOLE DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. There is so much amazing music from them! If you really want to absorb all that LZ has to offer you should start from the beginning album and move through each one. Same for Pink Floyd. Suggestions to begin Live performances of songs from the first album: Dazed and Confused from 1970 ua-cam.com/video/8WoQDpz7HOM/v-deo.html also fabulous!! I STRONGLY second the suggestion to watch In My Time of Dying live at Earl’s Court from 1975. Another outstanding Zep interpretation of American blues.....and as you said...yes, these wonderful guys LIVE and inhabit the music...it was all about the music for them, and their renowned communication onstage and their abilities to improvise on the fly because they all had complete trust in one another’s ability to follow the jam. Remarkable artists....and honestly, some very fascinating people.
you guys are amazing! great to hear and see young people appreciate the best band ever!!! so much more for you to explore with zeppelin. if you are big guitar guys please please check out Stevie Ray Vaugn Little Wing, Texas Flood, anything SRV is the GOAT
great reaction,i knew you guys would like that. this concert was from madison square garden in1973, you can see this entire show somewhere on you tube. every song they played that night was amazing. we are all so lucky that it was recorded so future generations can actually see the greatest rock band of all time, and get to experience how great they were. the live version of "stairway to heaven' at this show was better than the album version. it has to be seen to be believed.
Robert Plant in his viking drag queen mode. Of course the ethereal androgynous vibe and the raw power emanating from him made him appear god like to women, men, and anything in between. The Song Remains The Same is an essential experience for anyone who loves and understands music.
I think Robert Plant Was not and androgen like, for example David Bowie. Plant was a daring hippie. The blouses he wore were mostly from women (groupies) he had slept wit, many times, the night before, like the blouse he wore to the concert of the MSG in 1973. Iconic image. So sexy y so funny....and so good. Page wearing clothes whit images of magic, suns, and moons, Jones like a Christmas tree and Bonhan wore very simple. Oh...Bonhan...My God, a force of nature
Awesome reaction. You totally get their greatness lol The song remains the same / rain song live 1973 is another mind blowing experience! I will look out for more
I was 13 when I saw this movie in the theater. Even though I'm a drummer (and Bonham is one of my top influences), Page's opening solo in this song was a HUGE moment for me. My pathway in music changed in that moment.
No Quarter from the same Zeppelin concert is so awesome and the Rain Song too!!! Great Reaction guy's. Floyd/Zeppelin/Rush are my 3 all time favorites. Anything by them I'm going to like.
Probably one of the sexiest performances by Zeppelin. Literally leaves you speechless - so much intensity and feeling in every note and word. Love it, have watched it at least three times, thanks so much guys - your reactions are priceless!

Thank you Matias, for the time it took you to write all this down for them. They can refer to this list on their Zeppelin journey.
I think you would really enjoy “Kashmir” live at Knebworth, 1979. John Bonham’s drum fills and Robert Plants vocals are outstanding.
Celebration day 2007 was better tbh
Not sure if Kashmir celebration day was better.... I wasn't at that one, but Knebworth '79 was jaw dropping 😉
I like Knebworth much more too, Bonham is incredible
Phil Shorten I kind of like to introduce people to the actual members of the band. Jason Bonham is an excellent drummer, but John Bonham was special.
Hell ya!
Now for Dazed and Confused. Led Zep is the cherry on top of the music cake pure genius. In my opinion the greatest band of all time
I agree. I lived their music as it came out.
Yes better then the stones and Beatles
Easily. They cleared every band in pure power, sound, instrumental perfection. They had no weakness, and every member would be the most skilled on nearly every band. Just won't see something like it again.
You need to listen to no quarter from the same concert
You will never be disappointed with a live performance from these guys.
The tightness of this band is other worldly! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
They were, are and WILL ALWAYS BE the ultimate rock band.
@Braden C McClure ps stop liking your own comment you look stupid
You said it, "magical"...thats exactly how I see them as pure magic!! No other band can come close!!🎶🎶
Robert's voice and Jimmy's guitar sing to each other..........
The whole MSG concert is an experience of itself, a must see!
BEST. Reactions. Ever. To a song by the MIGHTY Led Zeppelin.
Led Zeppelin the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th wonders of the world
Pre Led Zep, Robert Plant was a regular visitor at a weekly blues club I used to play at. He was always willing to get up and do a couple of numbers with us---- he didn't need to be asked more than once!
Wow. You were immensely lucky!!!
You gotta listen deeper so you can hear the rhythm section of John Paul Jones and John Bonham on Bass & Drums because without them this guitar solo doesn’t work!
Zeppelin is the GOAT!! PAGE, PLANT, JOHN PAUL JONES AND JOHN BONHAM ARE THE BEST 4 MUSICIAN EVER TO PLAY TOGETHER IN MY OPINION!!
Without any doubt. 😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've got no words, (other than) Perfection!
I was told this song was a full love-making session ... As I grew into my teen years, I found it true ...
Thank you Thank you Thank you... Very Emotional...
Anyone who thinks Page doesn't stand shoulder to shoulder with Hendrix needs to watch this.
The best ever
Led Zep. The one and only best rock and roll band ever in time. They are out of time. Dios guarde a Led Zepellin.
You have only just begun! Do everything from this concert! Try The Song Remains The Same/The Rain Song! Killer! Believe me they are always like that on stage...trust me!
seriously all of the msg concert is amazing. The going to san francisco part is incredible
Page is controlling his guitar with only the volume and tone pots on his guitar .. this is the ultimate 😌😌
Check out every live performance from this show, including the 28 minute version of Dazed and Confused (greatest guitar solo ever!).
OR How Many More Times - from 1969 around they first started out - ua-cam.com/video/qSIS0o7vtPE/v-deo.html OR Babe I'm Gonna Leave You same 1969 performance ua-cam.com/video/wO6bRjcyQN8/v-deo.html Hope you check them out. Peace.
Well said.
This is perhaps the best piece of music video ever recorded.
"...and she's not high at all" LOL!
Glad George & Patrick dig this.....this is where Zep's love of blues welds into the original feel and comes out as authentic as hell!!!
Zep live...there are no words. 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
It’s like staring at the sun.
Awesome reaction guys. You can't find a bad Led Zeppelin song from any album. Glad you enjoyed it and hope you do more. Cheers.
Guy in light blue sweater got drained, man. Great reaction!
you guys are amazing! great to hear and see young people appreciate the best band ever!!! so much more for you to explore with zeppelin. if you are big guitar guys please please check out Stevie Ray Vaugn Little Wing, Texas Flood, anything SRV is the GOAT
I'm 57 y old, but I still get goosebumps when I hear that fucking beautiful guitar!
great reaction,i knew you guys would like that. this concert was from madison square garden in1973, you can see this entire show somewhere on you tube. every song they played that night was amazing. we are all so lucky that it was recorded so future generations can actually see the greatest rock band of all time, and get to experience how great they were. the live version of "stairway to heaven' at this show was better than the album version. it has to be seen to be believed.
Amen to that!
Robert Plant in his viking drag queen mode. Of course the ethereal androgynous vibe and the raw power emanating from him made him appear god like to women, men, and anything in between. The Song Remains The Same is an essential experience for anyone who loves and understands music.
I read somewhere that he wore last night’s conquest’s shirt at the show.
@humboldtharry4248 that is a myth. They wouldn't fit his shoulders. 😂
@@isadona59all nonsense.
He is telling a story with a fucking attitude!
This is the greatest musical performance in the history of modern music!!!!
There in a different world 🤣. Is is the different world in them 😳
That there was total confidence in your ability.
Awesome reaction. You totally get their greatness lol
The song remains the same / rain song live 1973 is another mind blowing experience!
I will look out for more
I was 13 when I saw this movie in the theater. Even though I'm a drummer (and Bonham is one of my top influences), Page's opening solo in this song was a HUGE moment for me. My pathway in music changed in that moment.
THE best rock performance EVER! I could watch this every day and love every second of it.
Ahhh. . The memories
It's awesome seeing people today discovering Led Zeppelin.
Best band that ever assembled.
I'm sure that people have mentioned that they were very young. In their 20s. I couldn't be more happy that you've discovered them. ❤✌
Great taste in music! Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and don’t forget the Beatles and The Rolling Stones. All epic!
Brings me back to my teens seeing Song Remains The Same at midnight showings every weekend in the summer. It was an experience every single person under thirty had at the time.
