I feel like a proud parent watching and enjoying your Reaction! Can't stop smiling and giggling, really! This is just FUN watching and at the same time listening to the best rock and roll music ever put down on vinyl. Someone said 'the best Led Zeppelin song is the last one you listened to...
I did, although that’s just a simple statement of fact. ;) The more I listen to Zeppelin, the more favorite songs I have. Great recommendation! 😎
I could not have said it better!
@@PeterTea I say a similar thing at times, I have 8 songs currently in my top 3. 🙂
Zeppelin didn’t just set the bar….they smashed it…nobody can come close to what these 4 musical geniuses laid down! They will forever be the GOATS! Love your reactions they are the best! Keep going with their whole catalog….you are LED heads forever!! ☮️
Plant here at 20 has probably the greatest rock voice ever. The whole first album Plant is powerful.
How you responded is basically how all of us fans have responded over the years. Zeppelin will often leave you speechless, and that's why they're known as the best rock 'n' roll band of all time.
Elevated blues to the very max. Just amazing what this band did in '69.
... and '70, '71. 4 albums in the span of 3 years, and the QUALITY of said albums is 2nd to none.
You guys are my favourite Zeppelin reactors! Please keep them coming.
Mine as well... if I dont have any new reactions to check I go back to their old ones :D lol
Mine TOO!!! They are THE Best!
Me too 100%
During 1969, Robert and John B. turned 21, JPJ turned 23 and Jimmy turned 25. Let that sink in for a few moments while you think back to what you were doing at that age. I know I wasn't changing the world in any way.
Yeh and they recorded this album in 68. Plant and Bonham were 20. Robert had only just turned 20!
They set the bar - nobody will ever touch them
It is all about musicianship, 4 extraordinary guys that were in tune to create marvelous music and one of if not the biggest blues/hard rock/folk etc,etc band in the universe...
Wait until she hears "The Lemon Song"!!! 🤣🤭
Who else puts three solos into a one track!
You Shook Me is not only the song title but also a statement of fact… especially for Dominca ;). The fact that they can go from keys to harmonica and then to guitar and make it sound seamless is just some next level stuff.
There’s Led Zeppelin. Then there’s everyone else. Trust me, I’m 70 years old and I’ve heard and seen every “ top” rock band around since 1968. So dynamic, inventive and timeless. Great reaction both of you. Stay safe and happy. Best wishes from England 🏴.
Yes!!! I wholeheartedly agree!
@@CosmicVagabondPixie Cool! 😎
When this was first released it just blew my mind, no one sounded like LZ.
This is one of my favorite songs by them. To think they were all around 20 years old. Remarkable.
Excellent! It's from their first album ❤❤
We can't see Robert but you sure can Feel him.
You two are great. The calming kiss on top of the head was perfectly timed. Love that you love them! Ty for reaction.
well i was around when it came out and i think its more powerful today because there is nothing out there to compete.
Led Zeppelin has a great blues song on the album presence
Tea for one ❤
Dominica. You are so right. Zeppelin are timeless. Good for you two for enjoying this. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The GOATS! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Damn you two make me smile!
There will never be another band like this.
The Hammond D-3 Organ played through a Lezlie mixer! Thank you JPJ, and thank you Robert for the Great Mouth Organ; aka Blues Harp! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yaay! Amazing song! Robert on that harmonica!
And keep in mind when this song was recorded in October 1968 Robert Plant just turned 20 years old two months earlier and John Bonham just turned 20 that year as well. John Paul Jones is only 22 and Jimmy Page is 24!
You two are true music lovers and the mighty Zeppelin are the greatest band of all time xx 😘
That bass line is killer. So filthy.
'2 kids in a candy store, reaction. Loved this reaction. My faveLZ song since I was 14 YO. ALL 4 band members got their chance to SHINE!!
If you listen carefully, after they sing "....and I have birds that sing" the second time, you can hear them laughing in the background. They were having so much fun. TY for the reaction.....
That was Bonham that laughed, a little later when Plant is playing the harmonica, Bonham gives a yell too.
@@sicotshit7068 OMG i am SO **Happy** someone else **Hears** that! Ahahaha i have always always **LUVD** that!!! did not know who it was BUT there are like a bunch of things like this IN other songs of theirs that i also wonder if people hear not laughs but "words" OH does he yell right at the "Diamond Ring" part think i just heard it cuz it is playing as i am typing this ha
**Luvit** SO MUCH!!! it adds even more to the song!
@@CosmicVagabondPixie i think he yells out when Robert is playing the harmonica, he might then too, but I haven’t noticed. I think it’s Bonham teasing Plant, they like to do that to each other, their long friendship.
FYI Led Zeppelin I was recorded in November of 68' in about 30 hours
It's been a long time since I checked in from Massachusetts before the Rammstein show! 💥💥💥
But Led Zeppelin is my favorite band of all time. Nobody can touch them for greatness! ❤️🔥💖💖
Loved your reaction!
It's the execution and feel from each member that makes the song.
Man, Jimmy could make the guitar rock, talk, and go round and round. 😎
You should react to Traveling Riverside Blues on Disc 2 of Coda (Deluxe Version) if you like their blues. It’s out of this world. IMHO! Zeppelin was and is the GODS of blues rock and maybe music as a whole. Thanks for your reaction. I loved it!
Another great one that was on the list, happy that someone else sent it your way! While we are on the first album, I don’t think we’ve gotten to this one yet and it’s a big one! It closes the album and in the very early days they closed their show with it. It must be the studio version which is glorious. How many more times. Make sure you play it loud! Love ya!

Hey Ed! Many thanks for the support and the song (of course)! Can't wait to listen to it! Much love from both of us 💚
When you have a bad day, you don't listen to this to feel better. You listen to this to have something else to wallow around with. It's validation in a weird sense of masochistic glory. That's the essence of The Blues.
When it came to studio albums, the song was always paramount for Led Zeppelin and not the individual virtuosity of the musicians. They were all exceptionally talented but they channelled that talent into playing together. Individual performances, such as Page's solos, were part of the whole and the not the sole reason for a song's existence. That is why some songs have simple, short, melodic solos (Ramble On) or even none at all (Kashmir). It was all about the arrangement and few bands did it as good as Zeppelin.
Live was where the band let rip. Zeppelin concerts were never studio albums played live but an experience in themselves.
In 1969 "I Want You (She's So Heavy" by the Beatles came out. John is playing blues guitar and singing the same line. It is a great song!
I cant hear this without hearing it roll straight into dazed and confused 😂
Dazed and Confused is great.
Your reaction are too natural, too good! Merci for your natural. You are noble to have and to making have fun together.
Bravo encore une fois, Daniel, qui aime vous voir avoir plaisir à nous présenter vos réactions.
Bravo et merci, et à la prochaine!
I believe his name is Andre? I could be wrong…
@@w.geoffreyspaulding6588il parle de lui à la troisième personne 😅
Hard to believe these genuses were only together about 2 months, when they made this amazing album. Over a few days, & a total of about 36 hours, recorded mixed edited etc. This song I think shows all these guys have to offer, with the 3 different solos. It would have been great seeing it performed live, but I’ve only found studio version, one of my favorites. Thank you for your wonderful reaction.
You didnt like COmmunication breakdown as much but when you hear this song transition into it, its simply mindblowing. This is why u have to listen to the entire album in the dark.
Love you guys ❤......pure zeppelin....would love to see you listen to in the light....down by the seaside together in one sitting cause I know and you know your gonna listen to the whole zeppelin catalogue....album reaction would be great also.... see you soon xx
Isn't that ending just . . . unthinkable?? Maybe my first Led Zeppelin song ever.
Maybe by favourite Led Zep song, although there are so many!
❤❤❤Robert ❤❤❤
Was lucky enough to see them live 2 times at the Forum in Inglewood in the early 70's. Timing is everything.
The Fabulous Forum....loved that place! As a small kid (maybe 6) I wondered out on the stage in front of a sold out crowd and sat down in front of my dad's stack looking out at the fans. (Dad was the bass player for Steppenwolf at the time) Led Zeppelin is my favorite band but I never saw them live.
@@Prone2Thrill What a lucky kid you were to have that influence so early in your life. Just saw a performer on American Idol do Born to Be Wild and they did not credit Steppenwolf. A real shame.
I Just what to say I love your reactions. I really appreciate you younger generations not just liking but loving and connecting to this music.
Andrea it's hard not to get jealous when you're wife hears Led Zeppelin lol!!! Love you both Kelly from Texas 😂
How did Led Zep know exactly when to put the harmonica in the perfect place to effect me this way all these years later. That statement says a lot
Don’t let’s forget JPJ on bass and organ and Bonzo holding it all down. They should get as much, if not more , credit for the overall sound.
There's piano in there too with JPJ!
Tea for one! Love you both humungously x
Thats a proper way to start the week. More Zepp more more its never enough :D
Exactly!! ☮️
I really enjoyed this reaction to a great song. You two are adorable.
It's one of my favorite songs from them ❤
Also I love ' I can't quit you baby'. Please react to the live version from 1970. It's amazing ❤
You guys have to listen to the Led Zeppelin albums from beginning to end to get the experience most of us seventies generation people had as we had the albums and cassettes and eight tracks and know what the next song is on the albums. Like after this song on the first album Dazed and Confused is the next track . Great way to experience Led Zeppelin!
You guys are the best and another thing to keep in mind this was their first album they rehearsed and practiced for less than 6 months and they were all under 25 years of age
More like less than three months: met up together late July 1968….they recorded their first album in late September, early October 1968.
Robert had just turned 20 (he was 19 when the band formed), Bonzo was 20, Jimmy 24…..JPJ somewhere in the middle.
Both Page and JP Jones were in demand session musicians around London when they were in their teens. They played many musical styles and for many bands. They were prodigies, but they were experiencing so many styles and they brought all of that to their arrangements. There is footage of Page at 13 or 14 playing with his band on a BBC tv show.
You have t even scratched the surface!
I was a freshman in college when the album came out in January of '69. A couple of months later I, I saw them play, in Boston. It cost. . . $2.50.
From their 1st album, January 1969
Love zeppelin, yer some of the best reactors out there! Honest. Loved your Ratt , you’re in love. Keep it up!
OMG OMG OMG!!! Eeeeeee YAY ha SO **Excited** to see what ya both think & feel about THIS **Masterpiece** k goin in Weeeeeeee...
You are a awesome couple,I enjoy your reactions
Your finding the good stuff now. Try how many more times and the lemon song❤
Domika, don't be sorry! We all feel that way.
Luv you guys!
I’m 69 my brother is five years older so I’ve been listening bro these guys forever
Great blues 👌👌👌
A trip back to my wonderful youth 😉👍
Another wonderful reaction to such a classic from the first Zeppelin album. I was 15 years old, and this album is still my favorite from them. It was the first, it was a new heavy blues sound, and it remains so primal compared to the work to come. It's amazing to watch the impact on you two. As Andrei says, "I love it so much!"
You know it's good when Dominica says, "Oh balls!"
Both of you were grinning like Cheshire Cats ( English saying meaning happy ) all through that !!!!
Lyrics were simple, typical blues song. The instrumentals made this one great! And...those drums....!
Robert Plant on harmonica!
The Stukas are diving!
Speaking of You Shook Me, I don’t know if you remember…..it’s been months….but you watched the live performance of In My Time I’d Dying from ‘75. At the very end of the song, Plant, on the spur of the moment, goes into a couple of lines from You Shook Me..and the audience applauded…recognizing it immediately, of course. You didn’t know the song back then , but you might wish to take a moment and just revisit (on your own of course) the last few minutes of Dying, just to see how he incorporates the lines from You Shook Me into it.
Wow, didn't realise it. We'll listen out for it next time we put on In My Time Of Dying. Thank you 😊
I saw them play this live at one of their concerts in Chicago in 1969, and it was totally amazing. The musicianship in this song was above and beyond anything I heard previously. I felt the same way as you, and I was sitting less than 15 meters from the stage. To this day it is still one of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs, and I wish it was played more on reaction channels. Great reaction, and this was very enjoyable to watch.
Kinetic Playground? I went Saturday night ❤
I wish there was visual footage of them playing it, I haven’t been able to find any. This is a great song to show who they are, with the solos etc. Lucky you seeing them in concert.
I saw them several times back then, the first was Dec. 1968 in Portland before the album was released.
@@sicotshit7068 Me too. I've heard live audio versions, but the audio quality was poor. I think they stopped playing You Shook live early on. Sounded great when I saw them.
@@user-ui2uo1hq2u I went 3 times and remember them playing with Santana, and Jethro Tull.
You guys are awesome. Love it! You need to do the lemon song. You might pass out.
You have to listen to it on the album where it leads directly into Dazed and Confused as if it is You Shook Me continuing which is why it may have sounded cut off a bit at the end. Thanks.
Original by Muddy Waters! This is a cover a great great Cover!
Do I Can't Quit You Baby and How Many More Times back to back. It will blow your mind.
I can hear the bass line from Dazed and Confused as the song faded out....We all have Terry Reid to thank for the magic of Led Zeppelin. Jimmy Page and JPJ were asking him to join their new band as the singer, he turned them down but suggested they hear Robert Plant who in turn knew John Bonham.... DESTINY
You really need to check out The song Remains the same from MSG 1973
I've been asking you to play this for last 6 months
Im goat, we are goat😉
Many of Led Zeppelin's songs are emotional journeys that are explored and exhausted to their fullest. Very rich. Very satisfying. Jimmy Page once used the term "drama." Musical masters, for sure. Even after 50 years, new payoffs continue to unfold.
Allll night loooongg.....💚🤍💛
You guys should react to " Thank You". Robert Plant wrote this for his wife.
LZ members were just a few of the many British rockers inspired by American blues. They did this right!
Led Zeppelin always do Justice to the blues, they have the perfect mix of the 4 of them, Plants soulful vocals take it there.
Did you know Robert Plant plays the harmonica? ;)
Kashmir The celebration day show!
Dominika ( I hope I spelled your name right ) The answer to all your questions of "How" is easy to answer. God. Enjoy the gift God gave the world.
Your viewers are suggesting the best of the best, out of millions of songs from 65+ years of music. It's almost like you are sampling the Greatest Hits of all popular music (rock, pop, soul, blues, folk, etc.). So you are reacting to the cream of the crop, the songs which have stood the test of time with your subscribers 👍😁
That is amazing! It most definitely feels like we are going through some pretty awesome stuff. Hope it's still many to discover ☺️💚
@@MerchantOfAlba There are plenty more to discover, enough to last many more years! 👍😁 When I was a kid, and then in college, my room was always the stereo room, the hangout, and friends would always be over listening to music on my old home stereo. I would play whatever they wanted to hear, like a DJ taking requests, but I also got to choose a lot of music for friends to listen to.
Especially in college, I was able to play a lot of music for my room mate and other new friends who hadn't heard much classic rock before. I grew up in the 80s, but my high school friends and I didn't like 1980s music, it was too different from what we were used to, so we listened to 1960s and 1970s classic rock in the 1980s. Most of my college friends (and everyone else my age) only knew 1980s music, so I had a big collection of classic rock from the 60s and 70s to play for my friends in college. It was always fun to see how much they loved classic rock, hearing many of the songs for the first time, and seeing their reactions in real life.
So when I found out people were doing reactions to music on youtube, the same kind of thing I did in real life when I was younger, I was hooked. It is *still* just as much fun to see other people hear and enjoy music that I have loved since I was a kid. Great music is a universal language 👍😁
I agree with another comment below, if you like this vibe, check out The Lemon Song from LZII.
Have you guys done achilles last stand or in my time of dying yet?
They are both life changing
It’s hard to beat Led Zep, Pink Floyd, and The Doors. Y’all should dive on in to The Doors.
