Yes, I absolutely love that all these young people discovering the greatest band of all time. I wore those albums out back then lol. They had soo much chemistry it was unreal
and strangely rediscovered by people who were my age/teens/ when Zeppelin landed and didn't take the time to appreciate them back then. My introduction to Zep was LZ-2 when I was 10 and never looked back.
The band knew how good they were. On their first US tour in 1969, they were the opening act for famous bands like Iron Butterfly and swept the main act off the stage. The audience always wanted more from them. Led Zeppelin had such an appeal that their manager was able to get the highest fees from the promoters at the time.
Is it a coincidence that Robert Plant had a band before Zeppelin and after Zeppelin which went by the name "Band of Joy"? To me, Led Zeppelin is THE BAND OF JOY! The smiles on your faces and mine looking back at you are pure joy. You can't get better than that. If you can instill joy in someone, no matter what their mood is, you've accomplished a great thing, a miracle of sorts.
Page...such a beauty, such an icon...just ripping it up here in that dragon suit...amazing. Such a STAR! It always seems like Page gets such a kick when he and bonzo sync up perfectly after a long riff. Another thing, IMO, about this band....the way they just melded together so well and the mutual respect they had for each other..always propping each other up. Long after they separated, Plant wld be seen walking around in Jimmy Page tshirts. They all knew they were the best of the best.
I’m pretty sure I saw your reaction months back, noticed I didn’t hit the like. This is one of my two favorite lives, Jimmy kills the guitar, Robert’s vocals all of them amazing. The difference with them & other bands, you can see & feel how much love & passion they put into their music. They love what they do, it’s not the money, it’s for us & for them. I love them so much, & have for 50 years.
Who'd have thunk it, "LEVEE BREAKS" 1926/7 and the above, truly, MUSIC IS TIMELESS when put in the hands of the right musicians. It's as if the Led Zeppelin were the keepers of the flame in the HALL of RECORDS.
Don’t be too sad, he’s singing that he hopes to die easy, right after sex, in bed with the woman he has just loved. It’s another great sex song. The French have called orgasm “des petit morts” - little deaths.
The last time they were here they played for 3 1/2 hours. At one point Robert said it was Bonzo's birthday so he had the whole stadium singing Happy Birthday. You guys are great.
Love to see the joy Led Zeppelin brings to you. I was lucky enough to see them live back in 1977 in New York. If you want a real treat, check them out in their later years when they reunited in 2007 for a one night only performance with the late John Bonham's son Jason on drums. They were just as good as any night in the 70's that magical night in London in 2007. Please look for Kashmir from the Celebration Day show. You will be absolutely amazed. I love you two. God bless and happy new year!
To think that this was the 4th song of the concert. They didn’t start slowly and build up. They just went at light speed from the 1st song to the final encore. This concert was nearly 4 hues long by the way. Immense.
The influence of American Blues is strong with Zeppelin. This is a remake of a 1929 blues tune by 'Blind' Willie Johnson. A little shout out to John Paul Jones who is killing the bass in this song and their other blues remake 'When the Levee Breaks'.
I wish they would "react" to......"ALL of My love". The video shows Robert Plant's son....Karac. Karac died at the age of 4.....from a stomach virus. Watching Robert play/carry his son.....on their farm in Whales.....is heart warming and heart breaking.
I had tickets to finally see them and the show was cancelled because of Bonzo's death. I saw Plant alone much later for his solo album but his voice was lost by then, SRV opening the show was better.
Just wanted to say again I love your channel, So Happy for you two I can tell you love each other deeply which is awesome! Love and Peace from Phoenix, Arizona
Another song that showcases the absolute mastery of the three musicians is Achilles Last Stand. Both the studio version and also the live Knebworth 1979 video. OMG…..It is gobsmackingly good!
i concur! & just asked for another song from there but then i added that ALL the performances there are so worth checking out! hope at some point they can be able to check them ALL out heh **RockON!!**
Dominica, because you love Roberts voice so much ( personally, my favorite male singer) I would suggest some things for your private listening pleasure…all from his solo career post Zeppelin; Big Log, Ship of Fools, Rainbow. The first two are from the 80’s. The last is from 2014. His voice is still beautiful and emotive
One of the greatest performance ever... Best of all.... NOT ONE SINGLE CELL PHONE. Everyone enjoying pure golden joy in the moment. Great reactions, you guys nailed it once again. Do yourself a favor and listen to the studio version, pure gold.
You guys are great. Such a lovely couple! ❤❤ I enjoy your reactions very much, especially with Led Zeppelin. IMO the greatest band to ever perform together. And you are both correct, you don't know what to expect from them. Enjoy the ride! Peace and love from NY
What a great reaction! I love seeing the two of you vibing to the music I grew up on. You give sincere, joyful reactions to this music just as we all did when we first heard it. Thank you!
Aren't they just the best!!! Thanks both, love your 'blown away' reactions. I love these rock bands of my youth and these were the best. I first saw them live in the UK at the 1970 Bath Festival of Blues and Progressive Music...awesome.
WoW you are quite lucky what an experience that must have been i have seen some videos from that festival on here wow they are freakin WILD! wishing for a time machine
We were spoiled back in the day, late 60’s and the 70’s. When their music dropped, and other bands as well, we just all had permanent smiles on our faces and in our souls.
The enjoyment shown on the faces of Led Zeppelin in live concerts is reflected in the music. I am sure a large part of the fun was the improvisation the band members were able to achieve within the framework of the songs. Having fun was a something rarely seen in the major bands I saw in that era. Some bands were totally po-faced to show the audience that they were serious about their music. Others played note for note the same night after night. Even the stage banter was rehearsed like a theatrical production.
It is so dificult to say more things about Led Zeppelin. Your reactions are very good. This son is amazing. There are no words...Jean Paul Jones is the name of bass player, and excellent music in all instruments that he play. John Bonhan, Bonzo, was one of the best drumers all of times, Jimy Page, oh my God, killing the guitar every time, and Robert Plant....! ¡¡¡Oh!! Robert Plant....!! It is not only how to sing, the textures of his voice, sing as he sing with his hands on his hips, his head high, his back straight, like a God, his hair, his pasion, and his smile...jajajaja. I love Robert
And after that killer song ( one of my top five) for their softer side again, Ten Years Gone or That’s the Way. The last one was part of their acoustic set you’ve already visited twice. Also, a great song from their 2007 02 concert was For Your Life. It was the only time they performed it live. They killed it of course.
I’ve enjoyed many reactors discover Zeppelin. . Many fall in love with the band. But you two bring such a JOY to your reactions. Such positive energy and obvious thrill at their skill and physical charisma that it’s a pure pleasure to watch you. I look forward to each reaction you do of my favorite band! 😁🥰
Really enjoy your reactions to Led Zeppelin! This song is designed to get your adrenaline going even though it’s a relatively slow groove. I’m not sure who I love the most in this song. JPJs bass is Mesmerizing Bonham is Phenomenal Robert Plant’s voice is Absolutely Amazing and Jimmy is Out of This World!! The whole performance from start to finish is pure perfection and Off the Charts!! **Highly recommend their encore from the 5/25 show (same Earls Court venue but final night)-funky version of Whole Lotta Love into Black Dog, Heartbreaker & and really interesting version of Communication Breakdown They do a little dance & you can really see their true personalities shine through between Hb & CB.
Another great reaction to the gods of rock. Would love to see you react to "Achilles last stand" from Knebworth 79 one of their greatest live performances and a real heavy adrenaline fueled song 🎶
MOA - Please continue to react to LZ going forward...I still say you should watch the Danmark Radio show from '68 or '69 - after release of first album..."Babe I'm Gonna Leave You", "Dazed and Confused" or "How Many More Times"...all will blow you away and you will not be disappointed with the production...we are all so lucky that the band recorded so many of their live performances...we get to see them at their very best...on stage doing what they were meant to do...thanks so much for the wonderful reaction...makes me feel young again!! Happy New Year
My fave song on this album. It is so powerful. This whole album is fire. If you get sad, just check out Jimmy Page's dragon pants. I love those. It always makes me happy to see him wearing those. lol
You guys are fun to watch. Blistering good version of a great song. Would recommend checking out studio version sometime too, just because it has an incredible drum performance and mix, Bonzo's really high in the mix so impossible to miss his brilliance. Studio version was basically just live in studio anyways, quite similar to this live version.
I grew up with older sisters who listened to Zeppelin, and they're in my heart and soul. In my opinion they're the greatest band in history. I know its hard to pick a favourite, but this is probably mine, and strangely for me i prefer the Album version. I want this played at my funeral. This song is actually an old blues tune sung by Blind Willy Johnson. Its origins are in a Hymn from England in the 1600s. Its strange how music in the English language is the most popular music, generally. Its definitely connected to the British Empire and the UKs influence on the world, and started in church. The good and the terrible.
I'm so enjoying your reactions to Led Zeppelin, and this performance is just one reason why they remain my favorite rock band since I first heard them in 1969. These four guys were just on a different level from everyone else. If you're interested in doing a deeper dive into Led Zeppelin, I suggest starting from the beginning with album 1 track 1 and just keep going. It will give you a chance to discover so many "hidden gems", some of which never get recommended, and to get a fuller understanding of just how versatile, diverse and creative they really were. However you proceed, looking forward to your next Led Zeppelin reaction! :)
As someone who witnessed the beginnings of Led Zeppelin at age 14 and went to 2 concerts I would love to get a T-shirt like this when the band comes to my town. 😊
OMG had to pause when ya paused 1st time & started talkin bout them cuz Dominica said "They are the greatest i swear to god Wow" ha so yea this is so wonderful cuz i swear as i was watching you two whilst doing your reactions to **Pink Floyd** & how they made you feel i was like "OMG i can NOT wait for them to discover **Led Zeppelin*!!!* & was so hoping you would discover them cuz i **Knew** you were going to fall madly in Love with them & YAY so **Beautiful** cuz you ARE!!! makes me just so **HappyDelighted** for YOU both!!! **PixieHugz&Luvz** **HappyPixieTwirls&CartwheelsGalore** k going back to finish watching heh **LuvYaBothSoMuch** **Twirls**
Oh my gosh nailed IT both of you gawd i luv it so much "Like A Slap In The Face" "Make You Want To Cry" "Out Of This World" "Precious" "Absolutely Phenomenal" "I've Been Zepped"(or maybe you said zapped?) "Something You Have To Cherish" & yes i share in your thoughts of it going on & on from generation to generation for **Eternity** & i truly believe it will just like Bach or Beethoven etc oh my gosh i just so love to see how much joy this is bringing you both i can see it on your faces & in your words & Oh Dominica you are so NOT silly for having ALL those feelings you are experiencing just YAY go with it! ha gawd just **Thank YOU** watching you both experiencing this is bringing me such **Joy** as well **LuvYaBoth** **RockON!!!** **HappyPixieTwirls** Weeeee✨🎸✨
One of the most fascinating elements of Zeppelin is the difference in many of the songs between the studio and live versions. For example, here with In My Time...the added visual certainly adds to the songs panache. But the raw/stripped down version, as great as it is, the studio version, because of Page's production and layering, creates another adjacent level to listening experience. One of the most stark examples of a studio & live experience is Achilles Last Stand. The studio version is beyond words as is the Knebworth 79' version but, again the raw, stripped down live version is an experience in and of itself not to mention the visual of the band just thundering through the track with a joyous, child-like excitement. At one point, Pagey busrts out in laughter because he is having so much fun. In any event, love your reactions folks....you have much more to experience...Happy New Year
This is from their double album Physical Graffiti. Oh my goodness! That one album has more musical diversity than most bands created in their entire career.
& i LUV that Andre Loves the guitar YAY **MyJimmyPageMagicalGeniusWizardBabe** & course Robert Plants Voice! there is no choosing ya can just Love them BOTH! heh aww you two once again making my day! heh **Thank YOU** k sorry back to watching again heh
Ok, I'm pleased to see that you that you appreciate good music and these 4 phenomena that are Led Zeppelin, so I recommend Dazed and Confused live (from The song remains the same) which is truly a masterpiece. But it was cut on UA-cam, so you can find the full version on Facebook. I'm waiting for your video 😊
Saw them in 1977 when they played three nights in Chicago. It was hard to get tickets and my seats were not great. They later added shows for later same year and I was able to get tickets for eight row center. Then tragically Robert Plants son died and the rest do the tour was cancelled. So I lost my chance to see them up close. RIP Karac Plant. I did meet Jimmy Page in 1983 though.
For someone who grew up on Led Zeppelin, it's wonderful seeing their music being discovered for the first time.
Their timing in a live concert is unmatched 😮😮😮
The way Bonham, Paige, and Jones play off one another is really mind-blowing. And Plant's vocals are just the chef's kiss on top.
I would suggest watching Deep Purple from the same period. Just as good, if not better IMO. It's like trying to choose my favourite child!
This is one of the single most best live performances of a song by anyone ever in the history of music
You ain’t never lied!
It's my personal favorite.
This & Since I’ve Been Loving You, are my two favorite lives. This May 25th version is the best of this song.
There is Led Zeppelin and there is everybody else
yesss, include the beatles and pink floyd. My opinion is 1 led zeppelin after but very after 2 pink floyd 3 the beatles
The band knew how good they were. On their first US tour in 1969, they were the opening act for famous bands like Iron Butterfly and swept the main act off the stage. The audience always wanted more from them. Led Zeppelin had such an appeal that their manager was able to get the highest fees from the promoters at the time.
Page is channeling unseen forces through his guitar.
Believe it! He is a **MusicalMagicalMysticalOtherworldlyGeniusWizardBabe**
You to are my favorite Zeppelin reactors. They are the GOATS.
Wholeheartedly concur!!! YAY
John Paul Jones is the glue that holds it all together!
The Silent Assassin!
Is it a coincidence that Robert Plant had a band before Zeppelin and after Zeppelin which went by the name "Band of Joy"? To me, Led Zeppelin is THE BAND OF JOY! A Dragon stage suit and a vintage Danelectro guitar, Jimmy is rock-and-roll!!!
He sure is! **Luvit**
Page...such a beauty, such an icon...just ripping it up here in that dragon suit...amazing. Such a STAR! LUV this!!! YAY
“The way he sings has to be illegal…” Bars!
Loved that as well!
This song i play to young people that ask me about Led Zeppelin
Ohhhhhoooo Robert❤❤❤❤
One of my favorite performances by them. There’s life before Zeppelin and there’s living afterwards.
**Luvit**
love all your Led Zeppelin reactions!
I’m pretty sure I saw your reaction months back, noticed I didn’t hit the like. This is one of my two favorite lives, Jimmy kills the guitar, Robert’s vocals all of them amazing. I love them so much, & have for 50 years.
what you experience is why, they are called the gods of Rock and Roll
They truly were a groundbreaking band. This is taken from the old blues song "Jesus Make Up My Dying Bed" by Blind Willie Johnson, 1927.
Jimmy blessing the crowd, which is one of the things you can do, when you are a rock God.
The last time they were here they played for 3 1/2 hours. At one point Robert said it was Bonzo's birthday so he had the whole stadium singing Happy Birthday. You guys are great.

You just witnessed greatness. I don't know if you're ready for dazed and confused live from msg 20 min version yet. Ty.
28 minutes of unbelievable greatness!
Agreed. That's the video you take someone to watch if they ask you: "Who is the greatest rock guitarist ever?"
I was at the concert. Best live show i ever saw.
Desde Montreal Canada .....excelente!!!!!!!
Great reaction guys, Led Zep showing why they are regarded as gods . Merry Christmas from Scotland
To think that this was the 4th song of the concert. They didn’t start slowly and build up. They just went at light speed from the 1st song to the final encore.

Everything is so magnificent in this clip...
Its pure Energy! Timeless!
Seen Led Zeppelin live twice in my life. No special stage show or anything just pure music from maybe greatest musicians of the rock era
Dang YOU are so very Lucky! i need a freakin Time Machine!
I had tickets to finally see them and the show was cancelled because of Bonzo's death. I saw Plant alone much later for his solo album but his voice was lost by then, SRV opening the show was better.
Another gem!! From the album Physical Graffiti! Fabulous!! ❤❤❤
The live shows are unreal!
Just wanted to say again I love your channel, So Happy for you two I can tell you love each other deeply which is awesome! Love and Peace from Phoenix, Arizona
I grew up with Zep your eyes and ears have been blessed, it’s so satisfying to see you on your journey, love to you guys ❤🎉
Led Led LED es lo más grande
Another song that showcases the absolute mastery of the three musicians is Achilles Last Stand. Both the studio version and also the live Knebworth 1979 video. OMG…..It is gobsmackingly good!
Please give the Albert Hall 1970 dazed and confused see the rawness of this band pure class
i concur! & just asked for another song from there but then i added that ALL the performances there are so worth checking out! hope at some point they can be able to check them ALL out heh **RockON!!**
I know led very well, but this track is amazing!!!!!!!!
Isnt this absolutely fantastic?
Dominica, because you love Roberts voice so much ( personally, my favorite male singer) I would suggest some things for your private listening pleasure…all from his solo career post Zeppelin; Big Log, Ship of Fools, Rainbow. Everyone enjoying pure golden joy in the moment. Great reactions, you guys nailed it once again.
Do yourself a favor and listen to the studio version, pure gold.
"Ramble On" Don't miss it.
You guys are great. Such a lovely couple! ❤❤ I enjoy your reactions very much, especially with Led Zeppelin. IMO the greatest band to ever perform together. And you are both correct, you don't know what to expect from them. Enjoy the ride! Peace and love from NY
Don’t worry - “Guys, I am not OK” is a common reaction to hearing a zeppelin song for the first time.

@@CosmicVagabondPixie You are not wrong...the set list was amazing as was many of the other Festivals of the era with Woodstock leading the charge!
We were spoiled back in the day, late 60’s and the 70’s. When their music dropped, and other bands as well, we just all had permanent smiles on our faces and in our souls.
Great way to end 2023....TY! Same concert: Trampled Underfoot.
Yes. Improv heaven.
I was at Earls Court for one of the concerts and I thought Trampled Underfoot was one of the highlights. It nearly took the roof off!
Lucky you. Legendary show.
They played and performed with such emotion and passion always giving 100%
Sapevo che l'avreste adorata! Una vera overdose di passione!!!
I was a lead vocal for a band as a teenager and I wanted to sing like Robert! It was a fun time back in the day!
Led Zeppelin, 'Achilles last stand' is also fantastic
YAY!!! MORE ZEPPELIN!!! WOOOOHOOOOO!!!! Not much you can react to from these-guys that isn't JUST AWESOME!!! HUGS, YA'LL!

Ty for reaction! Just can't beat these gents. Love you love them.
When I turn the page in the dictionary to the definition of rock and roll. This is what you get! Amazing!
My fave song on this album. It is so powerful. This whole album is fire. If you get sad, just check out Jimmy Page's dragon pants. I love those. It always makes me happy to see him wearing those. lol
Oh & one last thing **Hi Arnold!!!** oh my gosh too cutie heh i saw him curling up getting all warm & cozy in the comfy blanket heh **Adorable**
I defiantly prefer the Merchant of Alba over the Merchant of Venice
They are still the GOSTS OF GOATS TO ME….AFTER 50 some years! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 This just may be my favorite if theirs!
You guys are fun to watch. Blistering good version of a great song. I know someone who was at the gig. It was so loud he said his ears were ringing for dsys afterwards. But worth it.
they were the complete package, they had no weak links!
Bravo- excellent reaction. It is the "spirit of their delivery" to quote another reactor.
LZ never played a song the same way twice live. Always a different version each night they played. Amazing. You two are my faves.
One of the great rock guitarists. Jimmy page.
I grew up with older sisters who listened to Zeppelin, and they're in my heart and soul.
In my opinion they're the greatest band in history.

You have to be familiar with American Blues to understand. Zeppelin took their Blues influences to a different level.
great great version of this song. next try Trampled Underfoot from the same concert.

Was at that gig, and the other 4 shows, after queuing overnight for tickets....a week to remember.
Pleeeeeze jesus!!!!!!!!
In any event, love your reactions folks....you have much more to experience...Happy New Year
Was that the most incredible thing you ever heard . 69 year old fan from the UK 🇬🇧
The studio version is a must
This is from their double album Physical Graffiti. Oh my goodness! That one album has more musical diversity than most bands created in their entire career.
just the boys tearing it up
