Trying to keep these videos down in length and there's a lot to talk about with a class like the Hollow -- I definitely forgot a detail or two: 1) According to Musc, The "Void Antibarrier" mechanic on Fatum Nunc "transfers all stress resist to her target, unless it dies, in which case you get to keep these." 2) She doesn't get any benefit from Stress Resistance trinkets. 3) Not everyone loves her aesthetic. That's okay! :)
Hey I'm new to this game and love it very much I still play this on psvita and Xbox one but I love all these mods but I can't get them well far as I know so far I have watched almost all of your mod videos and I just wish there was a way I could use mods on my psvita or Xbox I don't got a pc do happen to know any way to get these mods on the console or know anybody who could help me well hope u have a good day love your videos keep them coming
Interesting, I know people will complain about her art style not fitting the game & how sexualized she looks and although I totally see were they're coming from but if I played DD on PC (I play on console) it wouldn't bother me personally. She seems neat, the game could use more stress healers. I appreciate the video, I've been thinking about making a DD character (-w- I haven't finished the game yet but I've killed every boss + the bosses from the Crimson Court DLC (I don't have color of Madness yet) but I see how good the DD community is and maybe one day I can make something for them. Again, thanks for these neat guide vids 🐄
The Mourning virtue was more hindsight than foresight, really. A virtuous Hollow used to be hilarious in the Courtyard... Void Antibarrier doesn't just transfer the hollow's stress resists, it transfers ALL stress buffs AND debuffs, including the exhaustion debuff inflicted by Fatum Nunc itself. It can even transfer the stress portion of the Death's Door recovery debuff to your enemy! Of course, that's a silly thing to use Fatum Nunc for.
The Hollow is honestly if not, one of the best hero class to play during an endless run as a support-healing class. During an endless run the torch level is not affected by her kit and she can stack up to 230% stress resistance making her completely immune to stress so you can mainly focus on destressing/healing your team and debuffing the ennemies. Put on her the Ancestor's scroll and one of her Crimson Court accessories to get better healing for Effluo and stress heal for Phagos. Enjoy the run !
E5... you forgot to explain what “Void Antibarrier” is, lucky I got you covered. Void removes all stress resistance buffs on the hollow after using nunc. So after using nunc you are guaranteed to take 150% stress damage without factoring in quirks and trinkets
They all have this weirdly sexual look to them but at the same time they're really creepy to look at. When you consider the backstory behind each character and what they really are it's a little uncomfortable compared to the way the other classes look. The art itself is detailed and fantastic but it sticks out a bit compared to other classes
It's easy for people to dump on Musc for a different aesthetic, but he really is an artist. His animations and peripheral designs (abilities, backgrounds, items, etc) are stunning, and most of his characters are an expression of himself, his personal life embedded within the lore of DD and the theme of a cyclical hell. His character aesthetics are what they are, but he *really* knows this game and few people realize just how much of the modded community is lifted up by his direct help and contribution.
Circles are hot and i dont know the creator of this mod but I bet he does Hentai and thats his style know, why bother learning a new style when you already have a diferent style thats going to atract a bigger audience (regardless of looking out of place)
The Divinity seems like a great modded character to go along with this one. She causes torchlight to always stay at 0 Light when moving through dungeons but massively buffs -% chance to be surprised and +% chance to surprise enemies, she is a total support class that can both heal and stress heal the group for high amounts, and she has an ability, “Martyrize” I think it’s called, that moves all blight and bleed DoTs to a single enemy. I think they would have great synergy, haven’t tried it yet though. In fact I’m kind of surprised The Divinity hasn’t been covered on this channel, it’s a really interesting mod.
I know the video's a year old at this point, but I'd just like to throw this out there... If you run The Hollow and Marvin Seo's Banshee miniboss mod, the Pitcher trinket you can pick up is fan-friggin-tastic for her. Gives her a self heal on any friendly-targeted skill. So, basically, with that trinket, you can usually get away with not slotting her dedicated self-heal, and thus not incurring its debuff.
The canon DD classes tend to have a very anti-hero feel to them. The Highwayman and the Graverobber are thieves. The Occulist is dabbling in the powers of darkness. Even classes like the Leper suggest broken flawed bodies however noble the soul is within them. And the all the DD heroes can accumulate flaws in their character. But one problem I have with so many of the DD mod classes is that they tend to go one step further than that and have anti-villain feel to them. Most of them seem like the sort of characters whom you'd expect to fight in the dungeon, and not the sort of characters you'd fight alongside. I mean, if the classes had been conceived as foes in the dungeon, would they have been in any way surprising inclusions in Team Evil?
My own party build from my last Farmstead run was: Occultist, Hollow, Sisters, and Highwayman. I had a decent balance of regular damage, blight damage, crits, ripostes, debuffing, healing, and stress healing. I can firmly say that the Hollow's Phagos skill was integral to keeping my party sane- it not only kept the stress away, but kept buffing the Hollow until she was at something like -200% stress damage received. She became a stress sponge; an Ascended Witch from one of the Darkest Dungeon waves hit me with a stress attack, and it only did 4.
Totally! This is a powerful endless group for sure. The last endless run we did included Hollow + Sisters and the sustain combo was just overpowered, frankly. Sisters output and off heal/stress heals was really amazing, and It became pretty clear that Musc's Fawn and Hollow kind of break in Endless. The Fawn, certainly.
Thanks for the upload. I literally leveled 3 of these to 6 somehow ignoring both of her stress heals, while also stacking stress resistance on her they all died
Tormound, We did a couple days' of play with 2B and she's interesting. She's themed around herself very well. The animations, artwork, even a couple silly camping abilities... It's all there for a solid modded class. She's definitely overtuned in a couple ways, in my opinion. She seemed to kick a bit too much butt. Fun, though!
@@E5games I can agree with that. Modder went the full mile in fleshing her out. Although I feel her abilities don't quite synergize as well but maybe I'm just playing her wrong.
How to play the Hollow. 1_ Get 2 hollows and put them on 3rd and 4th spot of any party. 2_ Put them debuff skill up and acc trinkets. 3_ Epulum. 4_ Profit.
I use her in a variety of settings, she's really quite fun. I find she combo's extremely well with the Keeper, and can act as the primary healer and stress healer. In endless mode I can go on until I get bored if I throw in an antiquarian for dodge cheese and a shieldbreaker. Because the dodge is so high she is mostly using her offensive buttons. Of her defensive buttons I like to take her self heal off, and rely on the heal coming from the antiquarian or keeper as needed. I rotate around my offensive button, but leave it mostly on tumor. Sometimes I get rolling and take her self de-stress off too in endless mode, and then I can have Epulum as well. She is really strong in a virtue cheese comp as well, as she is wonderful at reducing and adding stress, especially with her camp skills. I have found for her personally though, I do not like to go into mourning virtue unless I have "the worries" disease for +stress. Mourning makes her much less versatile with the lacking damage. Note that the Keeper also does not virtue like a regular character, so if you are trying to virtue people, the shieldbreaker and the antiquarian are about it. I use her often in Crimson Court as well right now, with the guardian. No antiquarian cheese, I prefer faster comps, and she can act as my healer and stress healer by herself so it opens up more fun picks for me, like the Grave Robber. I have to say, the mod characters that are supportive and well constructed are 100% my fave in this game, this, the lamia and cataphract are some of the best in improving my enjoyment in the game, I got so sick of Vestal, and would often run Flag + Occultist or something else like that just to get away from it.
So would you want some kind of stress management in a team with her, or do you tend to just bring her on longer dungeons and use camping skills to manage the stress?
So... wich one is the one who stresses up? a marionette made of wood, or a spirit? nevertheless, it doesnt make any sense that wood gets stress, or a spirit xD

ah that hags ladle trinket is really good. I guess this drops from the hag? lol. is it the highest level version that drops it? (you have loads of really good trinkets, man. I need to get to the darkest dungeon to get the ancestor stuff. won't be long now though as maxed out my guild last night)
I'm trying a team of antiquarian/hollow/tusk/exorcist in the cove. only taking antiquarian for the loot really, but the dodge buff can be nice as well. I had it up to 20 for 3 rounds last night. I only have a basic trinket for the hollow so far though gives anti stress and speed. it'll do. Should I just use an arias box if I have nothing else for her?
I think futilis is to risky, because if you want to use it ii would be for 2 scenario: 1 you have a companion close to 200 stress and you don't really care about putting him on death door because if he doesn't go on 200 stress now he will on the next fight, but notice that this scenarion has the same result if you have a -50 stress/+50stress ability -2: you have a companion who is at something like 90 stress and you want to get him back to low stress but you also have other companions in critical state that you have to worry about so you don't want to waste any campfire actions on him. In this case, I don't know for you but the risk of bringin a companion from 90 dtress to 290 is just to punishing to be viable, I prefer not using this action than risking to get another companion near death door, because when you get to 290 stress, you will approximalty NEVER go less than 260, so you will NEVER put away the risk that this teammember can suddenly trigger death door stat and stress the fuck out of the party, which is, remember, already in a critical state. And in the other hand, if you get thoses -100 stress, a companion with 0 stress is nice, but it's not a thing that will save your critical stat companions, so it either fuck you up for the entire mission or stabilise one companion for a moment. For me a -50/+50 stress is better, maybe the reward isn't that good, but at least the penality doesn't smash you with a game over instantly
Super late (DD is timeless right?) but it is a great skill for forcing a virtue check, like say during a camp in a Farmstead endless run. Stack the ring and maybe the ancestor virtue trinket and hope it rolls 100 stress. If you're trying to scum 4x Virtues before sleeper, this can hurry it along quite well.
Are ypu still doing m9d class over views? I know there are a ton of modded classes, but you give nice, thoughtful reviews and I would like to see more.
I neglected to mention this in the video, but it should be in the pinned comment: "According to Musc, The "Void Antibarrier" mechanic on Fatum Nunc "transfers all stress resist to her target, unless it dies, in which case you get to keep these." Hope that helps!
It's a talisman meant to keep the soul in the body. Priests were said to wake up those that died away from their family's home as Jiang Shi and escort them back to their families so that they can have proper burials.
Turns out she's a worse glass cannon than the Fawn. At least the Fawn only hurts herself. She eats through her sanity and the torchlight like a fat man on a buffet, but that blight+debuff nuke Epulum, oh, it's so worth the hassle.
It’s weird how people are cool with literal cosmic abominations, body horror and gore, existential despair, and religious zealotry. But the moment a character is made to look appealing in a sexual manner, everyone throws a fit. And I am a massive prude, but still. It’s not worth freaking out about
i think its more of a stylistic thing, like adding a skullgirls character into a traditional lovecraft story people wouldnt like it due to the tone of the character being completely separate to everything else around them (visually speaking of course)
I feel bad for all the people complaining about he nudity in a DARK FANTASY game. Yeah, sure, the main game doesn't have such strong nudity but who cares? Muscarine put their everything to create these mods, designing their visuals, abilities/quirk mechanics and back stories that do fit the story of the game. When I see people call them trash I get really annoyed. Alright, I get it that some may not like them and that's completely fine! That doesn't mean their work is bad. It's a bit of skin and flesh, grow up.
Quite late but to all who complain its out of style. Stop complaining. Yes it is and i get that but its a game, its a cool concept just visually done wrong. Just let it be n if ya don't wanna use em then don't
Wow I... do not like the artstyle. He’s talking about how deep she is and the story behind it (which he doesnt normally do... compensation?) when all I see is the same weird hentai infecting the of workshop
You know I don’t really like a lot of Muscarine’s characters visually since it just feels like anime bait but I feel like this one was brilliant. The sheer selfishness of the Hollow’s partner bringing her back because of their physical need they had for her only to be disappointed and feel nothing for the remains and abandoning it as a result. Hence the haphazard coverings as she is just an unfeeling thing in the eyes of her creature needing about the same care and decency as a chair or some other object.
Unpopular opinion but I dislike Muscarine's characters. While they're challenging and fun to play with a lot of depth, their aesthetics don't fit. They're too detailed, too anime-ish, too revealing. It just feels out of place. It feels like Muscarine can't create a character without slapping some weird fanservice on it.
Well nobody would force you to like them, specially Muscarine himself. He did what he wanted and then he put them out for people that maybe would want them, even he was surprised that they're popular and have a lot of support.
@@milhy6567 darkest dungeon doesn't have space for degeneracy inducing lewds. See the keeper class, which handles nudity in such a way that it fits perfectly.
That changes absolutely nothing about what i said, Muscarine did what he wanted and then made it public. You have absolutely no obligation to like it, just ignore it, other people like it and you are kind of saying we're wrong for doing so.
@@milhy6567 Indeed i don't. However I also have a right to state that I don't like it and I give a perfectly valid reason. Look at the vanilla heroes. Most of them make sense. Clad in armor or attire that makes sense. Like I said, I got no problem with gameplay mechanics of muscarine's mods. They're very captivating. However the looks kill it for me.
This may sound rude and i apologize for it but the thing is, nobody cares. Muscarine did it for himself and it's already done so he won't change it now. Plenty of people could have just do whatever they wanted to modify the designs, Muscarine has no problem with it, but nobody did. For what i've seen nobody cares enough to do something so at least ignore it. Again this may sound rude but i'm just saying that nothing comes from stating how much you dislike the designs.
This character is so niche. The stress and torch mechanics really limit the scope of teammates and dungeons(well except the courtyard/farm) where she's useful. IMO the worst of Muscarine's characters.
That's an interesting take, Zephon. She's not as straight-forward as say, The Tusk, but I've personally found her to be one of the most useful of Muscarin'e classes over the last year. Certainly, her torch and stress penalties can be punishing and she's position dependent, but well handled, her powerful heals and nukes are really valuable no matter the dungeon--but especially in Cove/Ruins. Her tumor, for example, is probably too powerful in that it does amazing damage and has huge shuffle utility, and Muscarine and I agree she's actually a bit too powerful in CC, Farm for sure. Securing a solid trinket for her can change everything, but the more I play modded DD, the more I find myself wishing I had an available Hollow much of the time. :)

Stack the ring and maybe the ancestor virtue trinket and hope it rolls 100 stress. If you're trying to scum 4x Virtues before sleeper, this can hurry it along quite well.
E5 i rly like your videos , what song you use in your intro?
Smolen question... What is the name of the mood for more characters? (I mean u have max 51 and you have 78)
Is she affected by virtue chance items like hero ring?
Hey can you show me how to install the profligates class manually because it's always error when I tried to install it
If so does that make her better than the offering in some way?
Are ypu still doing m9d class over views? I know there are a ton of modded classes, but you give nice, thoughtful reviews and I would like to see more.
I'd love to try those classes but I can't get pass the NSFW graphics. It kinda takes me out of the immersion
There are sfw palettes for all Musc's profligate girls, if you fancy that.
What does Void Antibarrier in Fatam Nunc mean?
I neglected to mention this in the video, but it should be in the pinned comment: "According to Musc, The "Void Antibarrier" mechanic on Fatum Nunc "transfers all stress resist to her target, unless it dies, in which case you get to keep these."
Hope that helps!
@@E5games Thanks a lot man!
whats with the paper
i mean that would be really annoying, having a piece of paper glued to your face
I think it's something to do with the exorcism thing.
It's a talisman meant to keep the soul in the body. Priests were said to wake up those that died away from their family's home as Jiang Shi and escort them back to their families so that they can have proper burials.
Hey can u please do the succubus
Voivode and Succ should be done in the next few days! :)
You can review three more mod classes: The Slayer, Pit Fighter and Guts The Black Swordsman
And Enigma
U should do the offering next
She's definitely on the list! :)
I have a hard time using this character. I love the stress management but the torch reduction is something i haven't learned how to deal with
Easy answer is bring more torches. Also, when you camp your light returns to 100 regardless of where it was when you camped.
Turns out she's a worse glass cannon than the Fawn. At least the Fawn only hurts herself.
She eats through her sanity and the torchlight like a fat man on a buffet, but that blight+debuff nuke Epulum, oh, it's so worth the hassle.
ALRIGHT ALRIGHT WEVE SEEN BIG TIDDY ANIME GIRL MODS BEFORE BUT ISNT THIS A BIT FAR
There are faaaaaar worse...
So someone made a 'extremely life like' blow-up doll and gave her away. Food for thought.

It's Mei Ling from Darkstalkers.
Who are the classes he's got with him at 2:23?
a seraph, a snake charmer and some other modded class
Maybe a bit late on this, but the last one is a Phantom.
do the slayer review
Yes finally!!!
Apologies it took me this long! Many more overviews on the way. :)
Dark run time.
FINALY :D
Sorry for the wait, Jv
@@E5games it was worth it :3
It’s weird how people are cool with literal cosmic abominations, body horror and gore, existential despair, and religious zealotry. But the moment a character is made to look appealing in a sexual manner, everyone throws a fit. And I am a massive prude, but still. It’s not worth freaking out about
the Flesh boss
People:I'm cool with it
Some anime boobies
People: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...
i think its more of a stylistic thing, like adding a skullgirls character into a traditional lovecraft story
people wouldnt like it due to the tone of the character being completely separate to everything else around them (visually speaking of course)
Skyking a good point, some modded classes just don’t fit the art style of the game.
@@nathanrolls4015 it's a good thing then that you're... Not forced to use them lol.
@@Setixir and it's a good thing they're within their right to criticize it, too, right? right.
A thicc zombie
Oh, yes, the Elden ring fan class mod
If only they dont have such terrible skins... I just hope someday someone did a reskin on this classes.
umm why is the corpse naked XD
I can appreciate the work that went in this mod and I can appreciate wanting to make a more nuanced class but this class just doesn’t seem practical.
Light vamp is is thiccest vamp
Too bad that most of moded classes are nerf versions of basic classes most of the time
Quite late but to all who complain its out of style. Stop complaining. Yes it is and i get that but its a game, its a cool concept just visually done wrong. Just let it be n if ya don't wanna use em then don't
People draw shadows instead of eyes to symbolise emptiness in anime and manga so yeah there's that
Wow I... do not like the artstyle. He’s talking about how deep she is and the story behind it (which he doesnt normally do... compensation?) when all I see is the same weird hentai infecting the of workshop
But he does talk about the story and complexity in other videos? That being said, the fan service is a bit too strong with this one.
THICC GIRL BEST GIRL
Cool cool o heck no there is not a will be not any animu girls in my Dankest Dungon. Bye.
Those visuals don't fit in DD what so ever :/
Who cares, it's a mod
Just here to say that i hate his art style as it doesnt fit the game
@@E5games Nice way to say that this character is garbage
How to play the Hollow.
1_ Get 2 hollows and put them on 3rd and 4th spot of any party.
2_ Put them debuff skill up and acc trinkets.
3_ Epulum.
4_ Profit.
