  • 2024 Total Eclipse Can't Stop This ROBOT Mower in Mowssouri! Well, I have to say that the 2024 Total Eclipse did not disappoint! Being in the path of totality, our hometown was anticipating 40,000 visitors to travel through. I decided to scope things out for myself around town before the total eclipse made its way to Missouri. Come hop in and lets see what we find here in my hometown...

Great video Cameron! In 2017, my husband and I saw the eclipse from our backyard. It was amazing. This year my husband drove to Fredericktown, MO to catch the eclipse. He said driving there was no problem; but coming home the traffic was bumper to bumper. Every road he took was bumper to bumper! Thank you for sharing the eclipse with us. Take care and God bless. 😊. Sincerely, Diane from St. Clair, Mo.🙋🏼‍♀️

Thank you! Appreciate you watching. I heard the traffic was backed up for those traveling back home. Thankfully we didn't have to deal with any of that. Hope your husband enjoyed viewing the eclipse! Thanks again for the continued support!

Me again, partly cloudy on the golf course.
No different than a cloudy day. We could still see to play, but sixty nine years old, this was my first eclipse. Pretty dog gone amazing.
Formally from up Hannibal way. Been up and down I 55 many a times in my thirty eight year career being an OTR driver.
Be well, and have a great day

Glad you were able to get outdoors and enjoy it, even on a cloud day! Sounds like you had a fun time on the golf course. Hannibal isn't too far away. Been through there several times on the way to Toro Headquarters. Nice drive over that way. Sounds like you put lots of miles in on I55 over the years. How does I55 compare to the other interstates you traveled?

I'm not gone far, I just don't watch much UA-cam, but I'd figure I'd binge watch your videos.

How goes it, Life in Mowssouri?
Former Missouri an here, now in NE Ohio.
The people here wasn't that bad, just on the south edge of Youngstown. Cleveland, on the other hand, I here they had to close a section of major road, there were so many people.
I, on the other hand being on the golf course at the critical time. We were just on the southern side of totality, but still, pretty, dog gone cool.
You sir, have a nice mow, or, whatever you are into today.

I heard traffic was very congested just outside of town after the eclipse, but nothing we had to deal with in town. Just a normal day for traffic. Definitely not a normal day for up in the sky though. Thanks again for watching. I appreciate the support. 👍

We had heavy cloud cover eclipse day. But heavy cloud cover aloud a chance to look at it. We had about 80 percent eclipse here in NC.

Not much happened here in Virginia. It reminded me of the smoke from the Canada wild fire's.

You guys were a little too far to the East for this one. Hopefully you enjoyed the day and was able to see some of the videos online if you were interested. Most businesses shut down here or let their employees off work to view it. Kinda crazy!

I'm down here around the Austin TX, area. I think the eclipse event is highly overrated... who cares. Whether I see it, or not, it doesn't change my life one way or another. Now, maybe if I had seen Jesus riding down on His white horse from around the corona, that would've been something I've been waiting for and would've cheered enthusiastically.
Now on another note... I noticed you clipped that seatbelt once you rolled up on that officer... lol. I was watching your instrument cluster and saw that seatbelt indicator illuminated. I also saw your check engine light illuminated. Don't make me perform a citizen's citation for vehicular neglect. I'd have to mail it to you due to logistics, but I'll do it if you force my hand.
Other than that, great channel, great content as always, and always remember... Confucius say, man who eat jellybeans fart in technicolor.
    🤔

Haha...Some ppl could care less about the eclipse. I didn't make any plans around it until the day of. Thought I would get a little timelapse while out mowing lol. Always a good reminder to check your seatbelt and speed when you see an officer. They did a nice job patrolling the crowds. I didn't see anyone acting out of line the day of the eclipse. Now the check engine light is all on the local auto mechanic lol. My fuel gauge has been acting up and they say I need a new sensor in the fuel tank. BUT, they haven't been able to locate one. Any idea where I could find one for an Isuzu NPR? 🤔
Appreciate you taking time to stick around and watch the video. I heard it was a little cloudy down in TX that day? Several ppl came up from TX to see it...

@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri Yeah, it was cloudy in my neck of the woods. It was "unique" seeing it get dark the way it did... for 2 minutes. Not intending to diminish the experience of others, I just can't see the relevance in my life spending money on travel, hotel, and extra food, just to see an eclipse for 2 to 4 minutes. That's not what I would spend my "disposable income" on. But hey, we are humans, and many of us like to do stupid human things. It's inherent. I wish I had a source to offer up on the fuel gauge. However, since you confessed you have tried to reconcile the issue, I will not send you a citation with the expectation of payment. Aww heck, you're too nice anyway. I wouldn't have done it. I'm just an old dog sitting on the porch barking at the wind.
      Bless ya, bud!
