Did you see any "resistance?"
Details: thecivilrightslawyer.com/2024/02/16/cop-slaps-handcuffed-man-caught-on-video-under-review/
Yes, his face resisted the pressure the officers applied to his face. Internal affairs will investigate and find that they are all heroes and were justified in their use of force because they yelled "stop resisting" as his face "resisted."
Not from that angle
Maybe after a multi years long investigation they'll find what could be perceived as resistance
Don't put your faith in a jury trial, they're all the people who couldn't figure out how to get out of jury duty
I lived in Jacksonville for about 25 years. Unfortunately, POC don't have to resist to be treated this way. The Sheriff's ofc is known for being racist good ol boys. Despicable.
Shining the flashlight 🔦 to try to stop the bystander from recording the cops/assault is criminal & coward.
IRIZARRY V YEHIA USEING FLASHINGHTS TO BLIND A CAMERA IS VILATION OF HIS 1a
Yeah, it’s called prior restraint
My thoughts exactly.
They CAN do WHATEVER they want as we see EVERY day, try and stay safe out there.
Yeah I think they guy filming should file a lawsuit as well for them violating his 1st amendment rights
“We investigated the incident and found no wrongdoing.”
Im calling it.
Lol, really going out on a limb
It is a notorious Republican religious state...they tend to judge each other for WHO they are, and not WHAT they do...That is how they elected a lying, slandering, adulterous thief...they only judge for WHO Trump is and not WHAT he does...
Tale as old as time
Nah they will do the right thing by the citizens, I'm calling it 😂😂😂😂😂
KKKops don't become Psychopaths...
...Psychopaths become KKKops.
...and there is no "off switch".
Is that what cops are being taught? You can hit the suspect in handcuffs as long as you yell "stop resisting".
This is exactly what they’re taught. It’s called CYA, cover your ass.
They are not being taught that. But police do seek and hire people who are mentally defective. And many would be locked away forever, if not for that badge.
@@dwainmcwilliams2043 They are taught to yell stop resisting when engaging with suspects, whether they are actually resisting or not, because it helps frame that narrative later.
You're adorably naive! I'm not sure if it's officially taught, but it has been a well-known, frequently employed tactic for
decades. This is often followed by telling the victim of their brutality gaslighting phrases like "You wouldn't be in this
situation if you'd only complied with our orders and not fought/resisted/been so belligerent. You know that, don't you?"
Pretty much,yea.
I don't understand how lying on a police report isn't equivalent to perjury.
It is perjury. In many states it's punishable by up to 5 years in prison. That never happens though.
It IS perjury BUT they CAN do whatever they want, all while wearing video and audio these days. That's the REAL kicker !
It shouldn’t be “equivalent” but a higher level crime committed by someone in a position of authority.
Remember the cop who arrested the blind man, confusing his collapsible walking stick for a pearl-handled pistol? She wrote a "some facts may not be accurate" disclaimer in her report.
Remember the cop who got caught lying on a DUI arrest? He ticked the box claiming the driver blew over the limit when in fact, she was never tested. The judge asked the prosecutor to charge the cop with perjury. His request was declined. The prosecutor said the cop had made an "honest mistake."
It is, their report is a sworn statement. The problem is people usually take a plea because the public defender is buddies with the prosecutor and judge. This nullifies the cops illegal behavior.
Police 'Protecting and Serving' the crap out of another citizen.
This is the kind of cop who gets off on dominating and hurting people. I bet review of his past BWC footage would reveal this is a pattern of behavior rather than an isolated incident.

Nazis need no explanations. “Under review” means next week he’ll be promoted to gestapo sergeant.
Not all Germans are Nazis and not all Nazis are German
Along with officer if the year
Or he's warned that, if he remains on the police force, then once the so-called "review" is over he'll be punished...
...but if he quits now he will cause the investigation to instantly end, allowing him to get a job at a nearby county without any bad report(s).
I wish I was making this up, but sadly, there is a history of this happening with other police officers.
Biggest thing is that POS trying to blind the camera with his flashlight in an attempt to cover it up. Dude is just as complicit.
That is actually a crime called prior restraint, good luck trying to get it enforced
One big circle jerk
The pos are not bothered about the cameras. They're protected by those above !
@@dennismurphy6867 It should b everywhere.
They can do whatever they want and WE ALL let it happen daily, do we deserve what we get ?? We ARE ALL responsible but NO ONE wants to hear this FACT !!!
I'm sure there are many wives of cops who often hear the phrase, "stop resisting."
The other one is "you made me hit you!"
And children
Nah, most of them have sex worker girlfriends.
40% according to statistics.
You can probably hear the phrase “stop resisting” and don’t tense up” uttered from the men’s locker room and showers at the local precinct as they “rehearse” or “practice”. But they definitely use it against their significant other in moments of heated “debate”
LoL you have better chance of winning the lottery than getting a cop convicted.
HOME VISITS...GUILT BY ASSOCIATION AND ACT.
(Dude is just standing there getting pushed around)
“STOP RESISTING!”
Every time an officer shouts, "stop resisting," he or she should get an Oscar.
More like a golf clap.
Same with “I smell marijuana.”
I routinely mention this on department Facebook pages. It’s painfully clear that this behavior is systemic and certainly bleeds into heated moments with their significant others and romantic partners. The metrics on domestics and even more egregious acts of assault involving off duty police certainly allude to this reality. It’s impossible not to imagine them holding down a female against her will while regurgitating “stop resisting” and “calm down”
You can see the cop keeps pushing him against the car.
Imagine what they do when the cameras aren’t rolling. Unfortunately many of us personally know what they do under the cloak of darkness
They don’t give a fuck either way! How many TENS OF THOUSANDS of times have departments “investigated themselves and found no wrongdoing”??
I shudder to think what they did in the decades before cameras were widespread
Fun fact. Some/most don’t care. It’s 2024/2025. Anyone can make a living off of police brutality etc. anyone. 4/6K a month on YT for reviewing cops. Point. Cops don’t care.

It's refreshing to see the good cops present at the scene stopping the BAD COP ! wait...

-All them good apples 🍎
Guilty of assault while in uniform should be a 1 year minimum in prison
And you see the criminal officer shining the light at the bystanders to ruin their video footage...he needs to be dealt with too
I am going to guess, they will investigate themselves and find no wrong doing...guess we will wait for the conclusion!!!
I am going to guess, they will investigate themselves and fins no wrong doing...guess we will wait for the conclusion!!!
These cowards always want to scream “stop resisting”.
“We investigated ourselves and found no wrong doing”. Anyone else get tired of hearing that?
If the system was fair and honest his fellow officers would have arrested him and he would be immediately fired and put on trial..no “review” needed
This is a great solution BUT departments do NOT EVER hire "honest intellectual officers" (this IS a known fact). Departments ONLY hire those who "go along with their program", bless you and yours and stay safe out there Kevin.
Glad to see the good cops on scene stopping their colleague who was out of line
Stop resisting…stop resisting…!!
That's what they do. They crank the arm, forcing you to respond, and then they consider it resisting
It's how these gang members are trained in the "academy"! Pure BS!! 🤬🤬
And then you have a tyrant cop shining flashlight in his phone
ALL officers there ARE tyrants, just saying.
Don't forget the 4th Amendment violation of prior restraint. Purposely obstructing by using a flashlight to obstructing the citizens cameras from recording officers abuse of a prisoner, the guy in cuffs is a prisoner.
I think you mean 1st Amendment.
@S.Waters. - Definitely not. Shining his flashlight to intentionally hender his 1sr Amendment right to record from a public space is a 4th Amendment violation as he it's an illegal seizure limiting the ability to video document the scene, ie prior restraint. Granted it wasn't continuous to one camera but was done to all cameras during the illegal battery and done to obstruct.
Prior restraint, as in Near v Minnesota, pertains to government censoring communications (i.e., telling a newspaper they cannot publish a story). The government isn’t allowed to do this unless the person is a republican and is trying to publish information that might be critical of a democrat, which is why the government was allowed to collude with social media companies to censor people.
Love how that one cop keeps shining his light towards the camera
let's not forget the cop using the flashlight to hide the slaps.
Prior restraint
As we observe all the other “good cops” letting it happen. The fact that they’re authorized to enforce the law with deadly force after only MONTHS of training, when my barber needed YEARS of training to cut my hair is a joke!
Anytime a cop starts repeating
" Stop" they know that they are in the wrong and dont want anyone to hear anything you say, just that it sounds like you are " resisting" or " arguing" and are the problem. Ftp forever.
It needs to be required to have a primary conviction before a conviction of resisting arrest can be obtained.
That might make sense to you but is not really the state of the law in America today
That cop looked big. I wonder if you could ask what he benches, curls, and dead lifts in the depo. You just know that he's all roided up.
How soon can we get the bodycam footage of this incident?
Funny how quickly they release bodycam video when the gestapo is innocent of wrong doing.
Lol. Not until the department feels the public backlash has died down and most people have moved on. Evading any kind of accountability is one of their biggest concerns.
32nd of Nevuary!
Probably around the year 2552
5 years from now
"When the police willfully break the law on video and then deny the event in writing, you know that you are dealing with a blatantly corrupt group of people."

The abuse cops do when they know they are on camera really makes you wonder how abusive they were before bodycams. Despicable
Get your lawyer peers to take more cases, this BS happens ALL the time! Part of the problem, lawyers don't take the cases!
administratively reviewd = administratively covering up
If its in administrative review, what it means is that they are looking into all the video evidence, body cameras and other records to find a way to protect and served themselves.

It's JSO. They're notorious for it, as is the Jax PD.
I’m not
Not surprised. Police Departments aren’t hiring quality people.
I'm not 65 percent of them are pricks!
Your shocked, where have you been the last 10 years
There's plenty of witnesses to say the driver was not resisting. I hope they bear witness for the driver..
the other cop flashing his flashlight to obscure the video is obviously a trained procedure to cover up violence in the system. they are trained to coordinate this procedure to cover up the violence.
The problem here is the minor inconvenience that the Supreme Court says allows police to pull people out of their cars it always ends in unlawful search for traffic violation
I have no problem with the ruling. My issue is courts and police seem to not understand why it was ruled in that manner.
I remember living in Jacksonville when I was stationed in Mayport, and I witnessed a JSO deputy kick a handcuffed man in the head for not being quiet.
This is behond A training proplem . These officers think tey have the Leagel right to treat citicens this way and will not beheald acc. 😮
The supreme turd court made it that way for no reason
So, he did NOT run any stop signs, therefore they had NO reason to stop him.
He now has a criminal record for absolutely NO reason ??
How is this justice ??
How can a free person who has committed NO criminal offense be charged with resisting a kidnap attempt which is what this is.
Good news is he can get his record expunged and his arrest record cleared
how about the other cop shining his flashlight into the camera? that boy looks like the kind of guy we dont need as a cop.
"The most dangerous thing in life is an incompetent that has been given a gun and a law enforcement badge."
- Steven Magee
If the guy is resisting then why are the other cops like ho hum, and not quickly coming to the cops aid?, because they know full well that there is no friggin resisting going on !
I love how the one officer is using the flashlight to block the view of the guy recording. I wish they would make that illegal.
They always have a certain “smell”. That’s part of their training, they push and twist your body so they can make up the “resisting” charge.
There was a video posted yesterday on another popular channel (I don't think John would mind me saying which one, but I'm not sure, so I will remain vague) showing cops having a good old time sharing how they like to dislocate the shoulder to extract someone from their vehicle. Another one was proud to witness that God gave him hands to do unto others with. All this sharing happened on bodycam after an arrest in which they assaulted an old man, tasered him, fatally injured his tiny dog by tasering and then spiking it on the pavement, and subsequently cost him all his worldly possessions to pay an attorney until he had nothing left and is now being represented by a public defender. The guy had fallen asleep in his work vehicle while taking a break from completing an overnight cleaning job he was hired to do. They're psychopathic monsters.
Some people just can’t handle the power given to them by the state. It makes them think that they are above the law and therefore gods over the peasants 😮😮😮
Some ?? Seems to me that 85 to 90% of all officers out here ARE ego tripping, violators that think nothing of assaulting us, maiming us and killing us because they CAN and they WANT to ! Meaning, it's going to become MUCH worse.
Abolish qualified immunity!
God forbid a person being accused of something wants to make eye contact with their accusers 🤔
I don’t really think they had a reason to stop him. The minute he hear, I smell marijuana. They are fishing. That officer is out of control. If there hadn’t been witnesses; I think this would of went further! He wanted to beat that man so bad!
Weird how the only charge to have stick was the resisting without violence yet the reason the guy was stop was deemed invalid. I hope he sues.
FTP
Until the people fight back. It will not get better !
#`1. "Stop resisting!" is code for other officers to "Get ready for a free punch at this guy!"
#2. Whenever you are struck by an officer or roughed up ALWAYS DEMAND an ambulance. Always. While in custody, the citizens pay for the hospital visit.
#3. When charges or tickets are dropped that is an admission of guilt by the LEO or State's Attorney office.
#4. Don't mouth off to the cops. Let your lawyer do that in court.
If you bend someone over a car their natural instinct is to stand up.
Same as turning your body towards someone behind you.
End qualified immunity for the police and then attach the lawsuit to their pension fund. I bet then this lunacy will stop
They protected and serve the hell outta them
All those officers and they feel scared of his resistance even if he was? This is how it is all day every day here in Jacksonville Florida
"Stop resisting"!! Is there ever an arrest with excessive force where that isnt part of the plan? Our police have been taught how to cover their own asses, instead of obeying the law, and following procedures. What a shameful, embarrassment to honorable professionals everywhere to have to shoulder the burden of others incompetence.
It seems like none of these cops can keep their hands to themselves... And I guess none of them had parents to tell them that..
As always, thank you for the great explanation and upholding the constitution
US Government needs to explain during Police Academy if an Officer use excessive force against an Individual unlawfully hé will be terminated immediatly. If Somebody constitutional rights has been violated the same procedure must be applied to them.
We investigated ourselves, we did nothing wrong!
Should resisting arrest be eliminated as a charge? It seems tooooo easy of a charge to slap on ppl.
Nothing about the officer purposely shining his flashlight at the man recording the police to stop them from getting the incident on camera. I thought that was illegal? I know though cops can do anything because they don’t know the laws.
End qualified immunity or defund all this.
You can end qualified immunity by making a Police Officer Uninsurable at any time the underwriters deem them a High Risk. They just won't be a Cop anymore.
The question is, how do we citizens make this happen?
Remember, LEO is allowed to give "expert testimony". I wonder if the reason for the stop was recorded on dash cam, or just the testimony of the expert witness?
After watching all these videos I don't see how cops are even allowed to testify in court.
@chriscald9426 any person who lawfully allowed to lie to an Individual, should not be allowed to testify against thensame individual.
AMERIKAREN HERO COPS AT IT AGAIN
So every lying cop can say that to search bs
I predict the department will judge themselves justified in their use of force. No discipline will be handed down thus no changes will be made.
Obviously the handcuffed man struck the officer's hand with his face.
What about the police flashing his flashlight towards the person recording.this stop. That's illegal also, isn't it?
JSO encourages this behavior. He will get promoted.
... And you also see that one cop shining his flashlight at the person recording ?!?!?!.... Instead of paying attention to what's going on with his fellow officers. What a b**** move!!! One of the better channels, John. Glad to see it growing to where it is.
